Al-Jabri said in a press statement today, Tuesday, that "I have not yet taken a decision to enter the parliament session next Saturday or not, for considerations and clarifications about some of the adoptions of the tripartite alliance, given that attending the session will pave the way for the passage of the Triple Alliance candidate for the presidency of the republic," adding that Just entering the session is achieving a quorum."

Al-Jabri added that "it is very difficult to hold the session according to the current data, given that the tripartite alliance will not be able to achieve a two-thirds majority during the session."

Regarding the differences between the Triple Alliance and the Coordination Framework, independent MP Adnan Al-Jabri said that "the Coordination Framework and the Triple Alliance are two sides of the same coin, given that all these parties contributed to ruling the country and took over the reins of power since 2003 until now," noting that "independent deputies are the new phenomenon in This subject".

He continued, "We do not believe that there is a party closer to us at the expense of another party, for the tripartite alliance presented a theory, which is the theory of the national majority, and so far it is just a name and we do not know its details. The next government is to run the country, and it is not clear to us."

Al-Jabri pointed out that "the coordination framework adopts the principle of consociationalism, which is not a new theory, and it has been applied in practice during the past sessions, so we do not see anything new in the political arena, and they are just theories whose details we do not know."

Oil continues to rise, and the price per barrel jumps to 118 dollars

Oil futures continued their gains on Tuesday morning, due to fears of a lack of supply, amid news that some members of the European Union are considering imposing sanctions on Russian oil, and the attacks on Saudi oil facilities also led to tension in the market.

Front-month West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose $2.18, or 1.94%, to $114.30 a barrel on the NYMEX, and Brent crude futures rose $2.51, or 2.26%, to $118.23 a barrel at 04:30 GMT.

Both contracts settled more than 7% on Monday as the possibility of further supply disruptions weighed on the market.

EU foreign ministers are divided over whether to join the United States in imposing sanctions on Russian oil, with some countries including Germany arguing that the bloc relies too heavily on Russian fossil fuels.

"The proposed ban is still far from becoming policy as a significant number of EU countries oppose the ban," analysts at Commonwealth Bank of Australia wrote in a note.

"The fact that the ban was ever discussed remains a significant shift," the memo added.

At the same time, Saudi Arabia has warned that it will not be held responsible for the disruption of global oil supplies after the attacks on its oil facilities by the Iran-allied Houthis.

The comments came after the group launched missiles and drones at Saudi oil facilities at the weekend, causing a temporary drop in refinery production.

Praise" the government's measures.. Al-Kazemi's advisor talks about steps to support market stability

The financial advisor to the Prime Minister, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, identified today, Tuesday, three immediate solutions to combat inflation in Iraq, and while he expected new parliamentary-governmental measures to support the poor classes during the coming period and market stability, he stressed that the government's response to monopolistic tendencies was " positive."

Saleh told Shafaq News Agency, "There are three immediate solutions to combat inflation activities at the present time in Iraq, which are enhancing cash income for the poor and social welfare groups, as well as for small employees, and strengthening and supporting the ration card."

Saleh added, "Whenever there are major state activities related to the poor classes, the greater their impact will be," expecting "measures that will be taken during the next month between the executive and legislative authorities to support prices and also financial support for the poor classes."

Saleh pointed out that "prices in the markets have now stabilized after the government's response was important and positive by announcing support and providing cheap goods to the masses, which will reduce the market and confront monopolists as long as the state interferes in inflationary activities, as well as the role of control and confronting monopoly."

Al-Kazemi’s financial advisor confirmed that “there are strong monopolistic tendencies in Iraq for some traders to obtain profits without paying attention to people, but at the same time, the state’s revenues are high at the present time and support commodities easily, and therefore there will be a fight against inflation activities in Iraq in general.”

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Planning announced on March 7 that the annual inflation increased during the month of January to 5.3 percent as a result of the rise in the price of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar.

In his statement to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Al Hamidy pointed out that the "Buna Payment Platform" is the first regional cross-border and multi-currency payment system that supports Arab transactions in investment, trade and financial transfers, and strengthens Arab integration through the use of Arab currencies in transactions.

The platform is an integrated system designed to provide clearing and settlement services for payments in Arab and international currencies, to enable financial and banking institutions in the Arab region and beyond, including central and commercial banks, to send and receive cross-border payments throughout the region and abroad in a safe, reliable and affordable manner, Al Hamidy further added.

Government Adviser: We Won 20 Challenges To The 2021 Budget

link

Adviser to the caretaker prime minister, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, revealed, on Tuesday, that the Federal Supreme Court accepted 20 challenges to the 2021 budget law submitted by the federal government.

Saleh said in an interview seen by "The Information", that "the principle of separation of powers is one of the first lofty principles that were adopted in the constitutions of all democratic countries," noting that "the principle of separation of powers in the Constitution of the Republic of Iraq 2005 is clear in the democratic system of Iraq, according to which the powers are divided. The system is divided into separate powers that check, balance, and constrain each other.”

He added, "Parliament has two functions: the first is to monitor the executive authority in the performance of the public policy drawn up by the constitution, and the second is to enact or legislate laws, in addition to being shared with the executive authority as one of the appointment powers for sovereign positions in the state."

And Saleh indicated that “sometimes a vote on a bill that the executive authority did not submit as a draft law to the House of Representatives takes place, which imposes a burden on the work of the executive authority without its knowledge or participation,” noting that “when legislating the federal general budget law, the task of the House of Representatives is limited to Under the constitution, with two clauses: reducing expenditures, and making transfers only, before legislation, and not adding clauses that indirectly increase the burdens of public spending and impede the work of the executive authority and generate legal conflict.

Saleh recalled what happened in the 2021 budget, where the government appealed about twenty paragraphs before the Federal Court and won the appeal, noting that “such examples embody a kind of overlap between the work of the authorities and are weaker than the principle and competencies of the separation of powers in democratic systems, which pushes the authority to dominate the authorities.” The other is without balance and outside jurisdiction,” and concluded by saying that “it is incompatible with the democratic construction of the state.”

link

The Sadrist Parliamentary bloc called, on Tuesday, for members of the House of Representatives to participate in the upcoming session of the House of Representatives, during which the vote on the President of the Republic is scheduled.

A member of the bloc, Ali Al-Saadi, said in a statement received by "Nass" a copy of it (March 22, 2022), that "the current parliament came according to a fair democratic process, the masses chose their representatives directly, knowingly and knowledgeably, and they hope to bring about a radical change at various levels."

Al-Saadi explained, "The change that our patient people aspire to begins with changing the approach to quotas, political consensus, and dividing the cake between parties, which the political process has followed since 2003."

Al-Saadi valued "the honorable position that was issued by a number of independent members of the House of Representatives, in which they declared their full readiness to attend the voting session to choose the President of the Republic of Iraq."

He pointed out that "the opportunity today is available in a serious and tangible way to change that approach forever, otherwise the country will continue to walk in the same dark tunnel that may lead it to the edge of the abyss."

So far, the Coordinator has not expressed any objection to al-Sadr’s candidate, but he wants an amendment to the mechanism for submitting the candidate to other parliamentary blocs, or the House of Representatives, which is that he be the candidate of the largest parliamentary bloc, which means more rapprochement between the two parties, leading to the formation of a unified parliamentary bloc. , which Al-Sadr has rejected so far.

Al-Maliki said, in a tweet on "Twitter" followed by "Nass" (March 22, 2022), that "the issue of dissolving the House of Representatives and repeating the current parliamentary elections is unacceptable, and the framework and its political forces did not raise it, nor allow it, and stand firmly against this option."

He added, "Although this matter was not raised by anyone from the political spectrum, raising it at this time, prior to the parliamentary session scheduled for March 26, aims to spread fears among the deputies, especially the independent ones, and push them to participate in the session, and the deputies are aware and convinced that these fears are delusional." Iraq.. Economics indicate the reasons for the absence of investment and the high oil prices

link

Today, Tuesday, the economic expert, Salam Sumaisem, explained the reasons for the lack of investment in the rise in oil prices.
Sumaisem told Al-Rabaa, "It is not possible to determine the ways in which the rise in oil prices is invested unless there is transparency in the mention of prices and the accounts related to them, and there are also no final accounts, and this falls on the shoulders of the responsible authorities because this difference that determined Between the price that was recorded in the 2021 budget and the price that was actually achieved, where does it go? No one knows. Where are the retained accounts? They are not declared."

Sumaisem added, "The issue is one of transparency and the lack of organized economic and accounting work, and therefore there is no evidence that this money went to the public treasury or to this or that party."

And she continued, "Iraq can diversify its resources, but this is linked to a political decision and then falls to the levels of economic decision, and this needs legal force, political will and wisdom in management."

And she continued, "The dispersal and scattering of decision sources, as well as the lack of political will to deal firmly and forcefully with positions of leakage of public revenues leads to the absence of a source that finances the public budget in addition to oil, and all these resources go to waste.

Al-Sadr: I no longer hope for long life.. and I will return the favor to the independents

link

this is the translation of his tweet

In His Name, the Most High, did not reach my ears, rather it entered my heart that there is a tangible response

From the independent parliamentary brothers after the last tweet.  I would like to thank them for putting the interest of the nation ahead of special interests, and wishing that this heartfelt feeling would be fulfilled in the fullest way of love for Iraq.  I will be obligated to return the favor to them as soon as possible, not by sharing the cake.

And them (callers of the homeland).  Rather, by healing the wounds and seeking to unite their ranks.. I no longer hope for a long life.. Rather, I will seek, in what remains for me, to destroy the rest of the corrupt schemes in building an Iraq led by the righteous as one row and without spoils except the interest of the homeland, so that the voice of the homeland rises with an army, national security forces and a majority government  An honest and fair judgment

Through Osama Al-Khala and Al-Saman Al-Wadi Al-Fursan, I will no longer hope for life, Maria. Rather, I will name what is left for me. I will help the corrupt people in building an Iraq led by the righteous. One peace and no clouds except for the interest of the valleys. The voice of the homeland is an army, national security forces, a majority government and an impartial judiciary.  And deep-rooted confidentiality and integrity, and the inherent dignity of a people, far from all external interference, so that peace may prevail, and, O independents, with your brothers, complete the march without direction, but with facilitation and success from God the Most High, the Almighty.

All love and respect, and peace is complete, O God, grant me martyrdom, the homeland with victory, and the people with pride and honor.

 your brother
