WOTS FRI MAR 4 22 Iraq's Parliament’s deadline for the Minister of Finance enters the countdown

These are  the articles I discussed on the My FX Buddies Podcast:

Parliamentary statement: Two reasons prevent the presentation of the 2022 budget to Parliament

link

Representative Ahmed Al-Rubaie confirmed, today, Friday, that the date for resolving the 2022 budget is unknown .for two reasons Al-Rubaie told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The current political differences have a direct and indirect impact on resolving the budget file," noting that "the date for resolving the budget is unknown for two reasons, because the current government conducts business and has no authority to approve it, as well as the factor of political ." ".differences

He added, "The new budget will be delayed until the formation of the new government, given that the caretaker ".government cannot present the draft budget, because that contradicts its duties

He pointed out that "the issue will take a little time until the current problems of electing the president of the republic and choosing the largest bloc and the government cabinet are over," noting that "there are no clear indications of ".consensus despite our ambition, urging and pushing towards convergence of views and resolving the matter

When will the government of Iraq be formed? .. Another threat to appeal the parliament session to elect the President of the Republic - Urgent

link

The representative of the coordination framework, Muhammad Al-Sihoud, confirmed today, Friday, that tomorrow’s session, which is devoted to voting on reopening the nomination for the post of President of the Republic, is threatened with an appeal before the Federal Court

Chihod told (Baghdad Today), "The voting session on reopening the nomination for the presidency must be two-thirds of the members of the House of Representatives, ".since this matter is related to the election of the new president of the republic

And he indicated that "the feet of limited political forces by imposing their will and holding the session without agreement and consensus with the rest of the political parties will present the session to challenge before the Federal Court, and for this ".there must be agreement on this matter before holding the session and voting

The Iraqi street is upset by the delay in forming the new Iraqi government

It is not surprising that the process of forming the Iraqi government has been prolonged. This happened after every election held since 2005, but the deep differences this time were not accustomed to by the ruling class in Iraq.

This situation aroused the discontent of the Iraqi street, as citizens question the feasibility of early elections in light of this delay that accompanied the formation of the expected government, five months after the elections.

Ali Talib told Shafaq News Agency, a winning speaker from his small booth, "The demands made by the Tishreen revolutionaries are to eliminate the corrupt who took power in Baghdad. The elections were held, but they did not achieve their goals. Four months have passed since the October elections and they have not taken place yet." Choosing a President of the Republic as well as a Prime Minister, and this may negatively affect many areas related to the life of the citizen.

He added that the political parties must solve all the problems facing the political process and form a government of services as soon as possible, because the only person affected by the delay in forming the government is the simple Iraqi citizen.

The delay in forming the new Iraqi government was not only negatively reflected on the political side, but was also largely reflected in the economic reality due to the delay in approving the federal budget for the current year.

For this reason, the observer of Iraqi political affairs, Mahmoud Yehudi, confirms to Shafak News Agency, that the caretaker government does not have the right, according to the constitution, to pass the federal budget of the Iraqi Council of Representatives according to the Iraqi constitution.

And a Jew indicated that forming a government according to these data requires a time of at least five months to come, and this means disrupting many aspects of life during that period at a time when the Iraqi citizen suffers from successive crises.

However, political meetings between the various parties intensified, with the conflict remaining open between the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, who is looking for a national majority, and the coordinating framework that is looking for consensus, while no signs appeared that could be inferred to the form of the next government.

An economist determines a way to track the region's sold oil and the money obtained from it

link

The economic expert, Safwan Qusay, stressed today, Friday, the importance of a parliamentary move to legislate the Oil and Mineral Resources Law, while defining a way to track the oil sold in the Kurdistan region.

Qusay said, in an interview with Earth News, that "despite the issuance of a decision by the Federal Court that oil exports from within the fields of the Kurdistan region should be handed over to the Federal Ministry of Oil through the SOMO Company, but it seems that there is an insistence by the legislative side in Kurdistan on the need to present this The matter is in the form of a federal oil law in order for the wealth to be divided in a legal way.”

He added, "Such a topic will lead to a continuation of controversy over the region's share in the federal budget," noting that "the process of presenting this issue to professional parties such as the Office of Financial Supervision, through which we can track the movement of sold oil and the money that is collected through these exports."

And he continued, "It is possible for a Sumo company to have a branch within the borders of the Kurdistan region, which is responsible for the export process as well as involving the region's side in managing this company in all transparency," stressing that "the issue needs a parliamentary move in order to resolve it and enact a law for oil and mineral resources to be Transparent to all Iraqi provinces and the region, with the need for all parties to abide by it.

The Federal Supreme Court had earlier issued a ruling ruling that the Oil and Gas Law of the Kurdistan Regional Government, issued in 2007, was unconstitutional, and rescinded it for violating the provisions of constitutional articles, as well as obligating the region to hand over oil production to the federal government.

Expert: Oil Prices Will Not Fall Below $90

link

The expert in oil affairs, Hamza Al-Jawahiri, confirmed, on Thursday, that the current prices will not rise more due to Russia achieving its goals after it besieged the Ukrainian cities and largely neutralized the Ukrainian forces, indicating that the coming months will witness a decrease in prices, but it will not reach less than 90 dollar.

Al-Jawahiri said in a statement to "Information", that "the Russian-Ukrainian war, which led to a large and unexpected rise in oil prices, is the golden opportunity for Iraq by investing the money earned from the rise to develop its infrastructure and activate non-oil economic activities."

He added, "Oil prices will not rise more, and if they rise very little, because Russia achieves its goals after it besieged the Ukrainian cities and largely neutralized the Ukrainian forces, and that stopping the war is almost imminent," noting that "the coming months will witness a decrease in prices, but it will not reach less than 90 dollar"

It is noteworthy that oil prices exceeded the price of Brent crude, on Thursday, the threshold of 119 dollars a barrel, while the price of West Texas Intermediate crude jumped by more than five percent, in a rise caused by the growing fears over oil supplies, as a result of the continuing Russian war on Ukraine

Legal Expert: It Is Not Possible To Go To The International Courts To Object To The Decisions Of The “Federal”

link

The legal expert, Ali Al-Tamimi, explained that the decision of the Federal Court is binding and now, and some cannot go to the international courts to object to its decisions, because what was recently issued by them regarding the oil file in the region relates exclusively to the sovereignty of the state.

Al-Tamimi told Al-Maalouma, “The Federal Court’s decision to cancel the oil and gas law in the Kurdistan region makes the mentioned law in the region null and void for violating the constitutional provisions in accordance with Articles 110, 111, 112, 115, 122 and 130 of the constitution, as the law obligated the regional government to hand over oil imports retroactively from The date of concluding the contracts and allowing the Ministry of Oil and the Office of Financial Supervision to see these contracts, and in the case of volumes, these funds will be deducted from the 17% allocated to the region in the budget.”

He added, "The Federal Court relied on Article 111 of the Constitution that oil and gas belong to the Iraqi people, and therefore the management of oil and gas is from foreign trade and is within the jurisdiction of the central Iraqi government in accordance with Article 110 of the Constitution. As for the concept of the current fields contained in Article 112, it means that they are fields Produced, explored and developed according to the most acceptable interpretation, and not only the producer as seen by the Kurdistan region.

He stressed that "Iraq is a federal country, not a confederation, and SOMO has exclusive jurisdiction in the export of oil," noting that "the decision of the Federal Court is binding and has become, and it is not possible, as some say, to go to international courts. Iraqi Kurdistan is to compensate for the damage and not to the central government.”

Electricity: 3 Iraqi delegations to Iran soon regarding gas and electricity

link

On Thursday, the Ministry of Electricity talked about an upcoming visit of an Iraqi delegation, comprising three ministers and officials, to Iran, with the aim of restoring gas flows and supporting the national grid with additional quantities of energy.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Electricity, Ahmed Moussa, said in an interview with the official channel, which was followed by “Nas” (March 3, 2022), that “under the government support provided by the Prime Minister, an early plan has been prepared since the end of last year to improve the hours of processing and we are counting on the entry of new generating stations with Completion of periodic maintenance and also we have introduced strategic lines linking the governorates.

He added, "There are transformative and secondary stations, distribution bottlenecks have been removed and nutrients have been increased, and all of these we expect through them an increase in processing hours next summer with the availability of the required requirements as well."

Regarding these requirements, Moussa explained that "the matter is conditional on financial allocations to support the distribution sector and provide financial liquidity for the benefit of the Ministry of Electricity for the rest of the sectors, as well as the success of the fuel plan, and this is supposed to be available before the summer and from now."

He pointed out that "there are lines in which the completion rate has reached 87% and need more funds to be completed before summer, as well as addressing the issue of slum areas adjacent to the networks, which constitute additional loads."

He stressed that "the Minister of Electricity in charge, Adel Karim, informed the cabinet of the necessity of providing funds from now in preparation for the summer season and to achieve the goal of improving processing hours."

Regarding Iranian gas flows, he said, "The decline in flows is still continuing, and it is assumed that Iran will supply Iraq daily with no less than 45 million cubic meters, and the supply is still only about 8 million, and we have the possibility to add 8000 megawatts to the national grid, but provided that fuel supplies are available." .

He revealed that "high-level Iraqi delegations will visit Iran represented by the Ministers of Electricity, Finance and Oil and the Director General of the Iraqi Trade Bank, with the aim of finding solutions to restore the flow of gas quantities that Iraq needs."

He added, "What was caused by the reduction of gas flows, we managed to deal with it according to the emergency plan, and this helped us to improve the weather, but we are facing a great challenge in the summer, and all the ingredients must be available to increase the processing hours in the peak season."

Iraq and the price of Iran's signing of the nuclear agreement

link

Iraq was supposed to not be the price for Iran's signing of the new nuclear deal. The millions of popular protests that Iraq witnessed in 2019 presented a picture of a different Iraq from the new Iraq that the Americans invented after their occupation as an alternative to the historical Iraq.

However, this picture was not present in the Vienna negotiations in terms of what it indicates on the level of the fate of the region and the potential conflict if the Iranians continue their policies of embracing and supporting armed militias. The Americans who are urging the Iranian regime to sign the new agreement, which will be, as the leaks say, a modified version of the old agreement, did not provide the fearful countries of the region, not including Iraq, any guarantees related to the possibility of a political equation in the region whereby the Iranian regime abandons its aggressive policies Expansion based on his followers who fight by proxy.

In that ambiguous situation from which Iran suggests that it will emerge victorious, the Iraqis sought what I would call the “weakest faith” in order to enter part of the existing political system in a final test, the maximum limits of which lie in reform and fighting corruption. For this purpose, not everyone boycotted the 2021 elections. The beneficiaries of the quota system, in addition to a small segment of the protesting people, were driven by the desire to reach the last moment in the conflict. Either the system, with all its incompatible structure, decides to commit suicide, or one part of it will float to the surface and the other parts will sink.

What happened is that the current led by Muqtada al-Sadr saved the regime from falling again, but this time it imposed tough conditions on its Shiite rivals who are at the same time its opponents. His victory, as it turned out, came at a price. That price Iran must bear part of its cost, although if it exited from the agreement with a package of compensation, it would not need the money that is smuggled daily from Iraq to it.

Before the formation of the new government was announced, an important part of the negotiations of the victors and the vanquished within the political Shiites focused on the future of the fake banks that manage currency purchases and money laundering and smuggling to Iran. Even the independent government of Mustafa Al-Kazemi did not dare to approach that red line, the crossing of which could lead to dangerous repercussions in light of the proliferation of weapons that do not fall under the control of the government or the “popular mobilization.”

If al-Sadr dragged his opponents into the critical region, it is because he seeks to score additional points on them, in order to show their weakness, not only before the Iraqi people, but also in front of Iran. We must not forget that al-Sadr's power, inspired by his influence in the deprived areas, was in large part divided between favoring Iran and anger over its biased policy in Iraq.

It became clear that the defeated are the lovers of Iran. Although these loved ones sought as much as they could to hide the real points of disagreement, Al-Sadr was clever when he leaked the part related to smuggling hard money to Iran and the possibility that holding the banks that took charge of doing this to be the first steps of reform.

But Iran is residing in Iraq, not only because it financed it with hard currency in legal and illegitimate ways during the years of the US embargo that was imposed on it, but also because it constitutes the most important front among its open ideological war against the Arab world. And because Iraq cannot regain its weight within the framework of its Arab surroundings unless it erases suspicions of its connection to the Iranian project, the attention of the young protesters in 2019 focused on rejecting any form of Iranian hegemony, including militias, that Iran might give up on financial donations in exchange for maintaining them.

Those militias annoyed the United States when it bombed its forces that were present on Iraqi lands and bombed the vicinity of the American embassy in Baghdad, but when they referred some of them to the terrorism file, they did so modestly. No one in the United States after Trump's absence wants to bother Iran.

Al-Sadr was at that time riding the wave of protest, and his followers were shouting in the streets, “Iran out, out of Iran,” meaning demanding an end to the Iranian presence, but this may only be a maneuver in order to attract the attention of Iran, which has given all its care to the defeated. Regardless of what Al-Sadr says about his Arabism, his zeal for the doctrine pushes him not to neglect the relationship with the Iranian regime. But the American vision always remains the basis in the case of a country like Iraq. If the United States has completely abandoned Iraq in the Vienna negotiations, this means the end of the Iraqi dream of restoring sovereignty. This means that any talk of reform and fighting corruption will fall within the framework of stealing time and painful entertainment, and that the horizon for change by peaceful means will be blocked indefinitely.

One wishes that all that was said about the new nuclear deal was just speculation. But if they are true, Iraq will be facing the most violent cycle in its contemporary history.

Al-Sadr announces his position on the Russian attack on Ukraine

Al-Sadr, and in a speech during the central Friday sermon, mentioned that “from the words of the master of the two guardians, the Commander of the Faithful, Ali Ibn Abi Talib (may God’s peace be upon him): (People are of two types: either you are a brother in religion, or your equal in character), hence the voice of Najaf. The most honorable to rise resoundingly to demand peace throughout the world, and enough war and blood, and to leave the weapons aside.”

He added, "From here, too, I find it necessary for us to pray to God the Almighty, the Almighty, to grant all the countries that are under the threat of war, such as the sisterly Yemen, with which we are united by brothers in religion first," explaining that "then we single out our counterparts in creation, I mean: (Ukraine) which It is suffering under the lethal Russian weapon because of a direct cause... and it suffers calamities because of the American policy there."

3-3-2022   Intel Guru MarkZ   [via PDK]  Good articles out of Iraq today about changing the exchange rate.

3-3-2022   Newshound Guru Pimpy
Sounds like Allawi [MOF] is saying we have to plan this out before we make a big change.  Here's the thing that gets me.  I can't imaging that slightly changing the exchange rate would cause so much commotion.  I really don't...it's easy to adjust...they can make the adjustment fairly easy versus if you have to really plan out a reinstated rate.  That's different.  This is where I'm constantly tossing back and forth in my head...are they talking about making a change or are they talking about revaluing the currency back up to the original exchange rate because this seems like a whole lot of hassle...But I don't want to jump to any conclusions.  I definitely don't want to blow smoke up people's tookus.

3-3-2022   Guru Nader From The Mid East   a businessman like me when I go to the United States to sell my things you know how much it cost me when I exchange for 1460...Just my trip to pay for...plane and the hotel...food and all that?  When you want to come over here..it costs you nothing...you need $5 or $6,000 to make a trip to Iraq...when I come to United States...Almost $20,000 for a week...don't believe anything the IMF, the World Bank...it's [raising the rate] gonna help the economy People will have more money.  People will spend more money.  People will start traveling...people will do a lot of things with the exchange rate.  People can come to the United States. Can go to Europe ... and have purchasing power.  For now we have nothing.   [Post 2 of 2]

3-3-2022   Guru Nader From The Mid East   The exchange rate, where you guys called the program rate...It was made for what?  To punish us.  We've been punished a lot I think.  It's enough punishment.  Whatever you hear from the IMF or from the bank of the world, the CEO of the CBI, Finance Minister, it's all bullshit...the rate, if it revalued tomorrow it's gonna make things better.  It's not going to hurt the economy.  It's going to help the economy 200%-300%...   [Post 1 of 2....stay tuned]

3-3-2022   Intel Guru Frank26  There is a plethora of articles that simply talk about the plans, the number one priority of a new exchange rate for the citizens that's coming.  It's exciting.  It's motivating...It's coming to an end.  I think I can say it with a little more confidence, even with a little more authority because they are the ones saying it.

3-3-2022   Intel Guru MarkZ   [via PDK]  ...I am still being told to expect bond payouts from today the 3rd through the 6th with full payouts... I was always told that 3-5 days after the bonds started paying….and we would see the currency reset. So I expect 3-5 days after bonds start paying out I expect us to start exchanging...As of this morning my redemption folks will be on call this weekend. So no negative news…just quiet...quiet could be good.

3-3-2022   Newshound Guru Sandy Ingram  Article: "Ministry of Oil: Revenues last February amounted to more than $8 billion"  the average daily value was 3.3 million bpd while the average price per barrel was $92.08.  Oil now stands at around $101.30 and is expected to increase even more...

3-3-2022   Newshound Guru Pimpy  Still they are talking about the change in the exchange rate...with all this chitter-chatter going on about the Iraqi dinar exchange rate, it's not just happening within Iraq, now the IMF is getting involved...the Central Bank of Iraq is actually taking into consideration a lot of input from the International Monetary Fund...IMO you can't really trust anything that the IMF and World Bank have to offer or suggest...

3-3-2022   Intel Guru Fleming  ...Misinformation is going around about CBI though that has to be corrected. It was stated that they will cap the IQD international rate at $5.00 which is not possible. The in country rate will be ~ $3.20 jumping international and floating up from there...

ARTICLE 1-A (from PM Kadhimi's website; posted only on Arabic side, not on English side; 11 pix)

The highlights of what Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi spoke during his inauguration of Al-Hussein Military Hospital in Baghdad

🔵 I congratulate you today for your mighty efforts in opening Al-Hussein Military Hospital, this medical edifice is an Iraqi pride, and we hope that it will be an arena for sacrifice and service for everyone who sacrificed himself and his family for the sake of Iraq and the Iraqis.

🔵 Al-Hussein Hospital will be an edifice, a field, and an arena of loyalty from the state and its institutions to the sacrifices of our heroes in the armed forces, and their patient sacrificers.

🔵 Our party today is a joint ceremony and a common achievement: an achievement for our heroic security forces, and an achievement for our health sector.

🔵 We work on a daily basis, tirelessly with the various types of our heroic security forces, in order to establish security and safety throughout our precious Iraq, and with the same determination and determination we need to revive the health sector and activate it to be up to hopes and aspirations.

🔵 Iraqis travel to neighboring countries for treatment, and sometimes they travel to distant countries and endure hardship, and the reason is the spread of corruption, and the insistence of some not to advance the state and its various institutions and sectors, especially the security and health sectors.

🔵 Every achievement in this state and in the context of building it requires courageous steps, initiative, follow-up projects and rejection of any reluctance or negligence.

🔵 Every achievement in this country in order to see the light requires cooperation and integration between the various institutions, not to overcome the language of narrow interests or the language of accusations or the language of slander or the language of treason.. the demolition process requires minutes and simple decisions, and we have witnessed examples of this throughout The past two decades..but the construction process requires diligent work, seriousness and determination to reach tangible results.

🔵 Every achievement in this country, and every action, regardless of its size, must be made with the intention of serving the citizen and the nation.. The achievement is not for a person, or for a group, but for the nation, and the different governments must have the spirit of working for the nation and the citizen and building the state.

🔵 Every achievement in this country depends on us; This depends on answering this question: Do we want to build a state? Do we want to pass on to our generations an Iraq that fulfills our expectations? Or a devastated, weak Iraq that has nothing in it? The answer is clear... the road map is clearer, and today's achievement is evidence.

🔵 Our heroes in our armed forces and our heroes in white uniforms, you have all our greetings and pride.. you have worked, been patient and tired in the war against ISIS and in the war against the “Corona pandemic.”

🔵 I congratulate once again on this great achievement and work, and we will work to repeat the experience of Al-Hussein Military Hospital and other successful experiences of hospitals in all Iraqi governorates.

🔵 The Iraqi has the right to enjoy high-quality health and hospital services in his country, and this is the duty of the state and its institutions, and this duty calls us to say: We want to build a state, we want to fight corruption and serve the citizen.

🔵 The state is not built without a strong army, and the government, a year and a half ago, paid great attention to the army and provided the requirements to strengthen and build it in the right way, because whoever made sacrifices deserves to offer all means of support to him.

A proposed roadmap for the new government
2022-03-03 12:56

There is a scientific rule that says (Whenever the inputs are correct, sound and studied, the outputs will be correct and successful) and good and successful actions always depend on the first steps because they properly express the next steps.

The new government expected so far, its features are not clear. Will it be a national majority government as announced by the largest bloc, which is the Sadrist bloc and its allies, or will the political and regional pressures be great and we return to the abhorrent sectarian quota government, and whether it is in this way or that, it must be aware of what is clearly required of it, especially if the government’s fortunes The new ones and their chances of success are great because of the great financial abundance that resulted from the huge rise in international oil prices. This is a great opportunity that it should use to set and draw the right lines for success and advancing the Iraqi economy, restoring security and stability to the country and ending the suffering of the Iraqi citizen who has suffered for many years and was the only loser in this country.

The prospective government should focus on four very important steps and focus on them at the beginning of its tasks, and they will be the key to success for all the works it follows.

The first step: is to develop a road map to eliminate the rampant corruption in all parts of the country and to immediately and seriously implement this without complacency and fear of anyone and work to give full freedom to the Iraqi judiciary and support it to take its required role in that and start destroying the castles of corruption one by one as well as encouraging the media and organizations Transparency and civil society organizations to contribute to the detection of corruption because without eliminating it, no other step will succeed and no construction process will succeed in the country.

The second step: It is to immediately start withdrawing all weapons that are outside the hands of the state, whether they are in the hands of parties, armed militias or clans, and work to issue a package of strict laws and instructions that prohibit this and consider it as acts that threaten the security and stability of the country, and the government must cancel and reconsider all The permits to bear arms that were granted in previous periods to those who come and go, because the continued presence of arms outside the control of the state and in this random manner helps to lose the prestige of the state and the law and the loss of security and safety in the country and greatly affects the alienation of investors and threatens the investment process in the country.

The third step: Develop development plans of all three types, short, medium and long-term, for the reconstruction of the productive sectors in the economy, especially industry, agriculture, transport and tourism, allocating large sums of money from the general budget to achieve this step, giving the real role of the private sector to contribute to achieving this, and starting to put pressure on government spending in a real way and not postpone the matter Or neglecting it for any pretext, because the gradual advancement of these sectors will contribute to supplying the budget with large sums and will reduce dependence on oil in strengthening the budget, especially in the great changes the world is witnessing with regard to climate change and the internationally agreed-upon trend to reduce the use of oil gradually. True, it will reduce the spread of unemployment and poverty, will move the economy properly, and will save the country large sums of hard currency that is spent to import everything from outside the country.

The fourth step: is to work on controlling and completely placing the state’s hand on all the land, sea and air border crossings of the country, and banishing the political parties, blocs and militias that dominate them and that steal their imports openly during the day because these ports and their revenues are very huge and equal to the budgets of countries, even if they are completely controlled by the government. I am sure that it alone is sufficient to pay off all Iraq's debts in a short period and helps the government to freely spend in the process of rebuilding the country.

The fifth step: expediting the resolution of the Al-Faw port file, decoding it, resolving all ambiguities and suspicions, and choosing the implementing agencies on a national basis, away from all regional and global interference, putting Iraq’s interest above all interests, and setting precise timings to complete the project, which will greatly advance the Iraqi economy and provide great job opportunities for the unemployed. And will revive the Iraqi economy significantly and will make Iraq an important strategic link in global trade.

If the new government has the real intention of reform, and if it proceeds to implement these five basic steps at the beginning of its work, it will guarantee it success in its work and will gain the citizen’s trust in a short period, and it will be able to perform all its tasks optimally, and it will make the Iraqi citizen reap the fruits of these actions from improvement in all aspects of his life And I was able to restore part of the people's lost confidence in the political class that rules them.

Al-Sistani sets the holy month of Shaban
Thursday 03 March 2022 at 20:16 pm

The office of the supreme reference, Sayyid Ali al-Sistani, announced today, Thursday.

Next Saturday is the first of the holy month of Shaban.

>>>>>>>>>>>>
From  Wikipedia....

Shaʽban (ArabicشَعْبَانŠaʿbān) is the eighth month of the Islamic calendar. It is the month of "separation", so called because the pagan Arabs used to disperse in search of water.

The fifteenth night of this month is known as the "Night of Records" (Laylat al-Bara'at).[1] However, observance of this day is disputed.[2]

Sha'ban is the last lunar month before Ramadan, and so Muslims determine in it when the first day of Ramadan fasting will be.[3]

In the post-Tanzimat Ottoman Empire context, the word was, in French, the main language of diplomacy and a common language among educated and among non-Muslim subjects,[4][5] spelled as Cha'ban.[6] The current Turkish spelling today is Şaban.

A diet that can ignite belly fat burning
03/03/2022

Earth News/ Visceral fat is located around the middle part of the body, deep in the abdominal cavity. The condition is widely understood as the result of a sedentary lifestyle and hormonal imbalances.

The main danger of visceral fat lies in the harmful chemicals it releases into the bloodstream, which have been linked to an increased risk of heart attack.

As with different types of weight loss, the most reasonable approach to reducing fat storage includes exercise and restricting food intake. However, adding certain foods to your diet may be equally beneficial for losing visceral fat.

Some plant-based products, such as tofu, may help reduce food cravings by an astonishing 60%.
Previous studies have shown that eating more protein reduces cravings by 60%.

It has also been proven that protein consumption can boost metabolism by 80-100 calories per day.

In a paper published in the journal Obesity, researchers set out to determine the effects of dietary protein on perceived appetite during weight loss.

They tested a sample of 27 overweight and obese men. The sample was divided into three groups, two of which consumed a high proportion of protein for three or six meals a day, while the third group ate three traditional meals.

The study determined that increasing protein intake to 25% of calories could reduce cravings by 60%.

The results also revealed that this may cut the desire to snack at night in half. But it was also found that protein intake was directly related to lower abdominal circumference.

Research published in Nutrition and Metabolism confirmed this, indicating that people who eat more protein have less belly fat.

The findings corroborate separate research published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, which highlighted the prolonged effects of protein intake.

The authors of a 2006 paper established that protein intake was associated with a significant reduction in the chance of gaining belly fat in women over a five-year period. They also linked fruits and vegetables to reduced fat storage.

The medical website, MedicineNet, confirms these results, noting that a diet rich in plant proteins can help get rid of belly fat “overnight.”

Plant protein can be found in acid, or nuts and seeds such as almonds, walnuts and sunflower seeds, according to the health website.

But one protein source known to help reduce visceral fat is tofu, thanks to its high soy isoflavone content.

Vegetarian food, which consists of soy protein, is low in calories but rich in protein and fat.
