Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi said Iraq did not receive the large support required to fight the terrorist gangs of Daesh, noting that some countries's media in the region are trying to inflame the situation in Iraq.

He said in his speech at the plenary meeting hosted by the WEF with the Prime Minister of Lebanon Mr. Tammam Salam that Iraq achieves victories against Daash and most recently the great victory in Ramadi that surprised the world, but there are some who fund Daesh and increase sectarian strife and that is something that benefits these gangs.

He added that Iraq is on the front line and 2016 will be the year to eliminate Daesh militarily despite the financial challenge of lower global oil prices.

Dr. Haider Al-Abadi said were it not for the response of our heroes to Daesh then Daesh would be in several areas of the Gulf.

The Prime Minister said that there is great confidence in our armed forces and we are determined to achieve the final victory over the terrorist gangs.
