Word on the Street Thursday 4/13/17:
TNT CONFERENCE CALL WEDNESDAY 4/12/17 DC NY CALL RECAP:
Good afternoon TNT Superfantastic Family. Today is Hump Day Wednesday. Lets call this Well Bring it Day. Where are we, and when are we going to see it Wednesday? On the last call a question came up on the Saddam era currency of Iraq. I said it could be a collectors item, but the only good one is dated 2003 and above which you can exchange. I think I have cleared that up. Hopefully, this will be the end of it this week one way or another. What is the new intel? There isn't any. There was an expectation last night. We were hearing about prices being changed across the pond and today as well. We are hearing about price adjustments, but haven't received it yet. All of it still ties in. We waited to see when the banks opened over in Iraq and here, and it is all good. Everything is quiet and status quo. It is no different that Monday just closer. Q and A: Q; Will there be a 2% exchange fee? Is that a possibility? Ray: Yes, it is possible. Q: Are the rates showing today? Ray: I haven't heard anything on that today. Q: Is the Rupiah still in the mix? Ray: Last I heard, it is still in the basket. Q: Is there a way to find out which ZIM notes the bank will be accepting? Ray: Before they came out with the new currencies, we heard the old currency would have a value which we could exchange. Q: The rate for IDR ? Ray: The last we heard was $1.08. Q: Do we look great for this week? Ray: nothing has changed from the info on Monday. Caller: 865 Earlier on you referenced about the finance conference in Lebanon? What have you heard? Ray: Absolutely nothing Catnip: Earlier on, you stressed the value of negotiating and the importance of diversification? Diversify, Diversify, Diversify. I am hoping there will be no need for a call on Friday, and it it doesn't happen what is the likelihood of a call Friday? Ray: We will do one if the RV hasn't happened yet. Ray: Don't tie up all your money in one banking institution. Verification, negotiation, and diversification. Caller: Will it happen this week? Ray everyone is patiently waiting. Caller: Can anything stop us from receivng this blessing? Ray: I don't see that taking place Caller: Is the HCL and Article 140 passed as a fact? Ray: I don't know it as a fact, and it is not an issue. Caller: I double checked my notes, and you did say 2003 and higher on the Iraqi notes. Ray: Thank you Sir! Caller: I called a big bank 2 years ago and they said they weren't exhanging, and this time they told me I will need a personal banker. They know what is going on. Ray: Thank You very much. Caller: have you heard anything about price changes in the stores yet in Iraq? Ray: not yet. Ray's Wrap up: We are at a time and it is a waiting game. The info sounds promising and most does say progress,. The wheels are turning. That is what we want to see. All w can do is report what we see. Some of our best intel sources for 4 years, everything they shared happened sooner or later. As good as they are, they can't call it at an exact day or time. Everything they have shared has come to pass. That is our best intel sources. The good intel sources, report what they are seeing and hearing presently and get it from different levels of all activity. As they all share one tidbit, but when we receive multiple tidbits we get expectancy. We hear from each to get tidbits and put it all together like a puzzle like it is going to be real. Rates on screen pending revalutation is nothing new. We have had it from Intel sources and members. The intel is an employee in the bank. The member is us being told and coming out and telling what happened. When we received that info from whoever, we are so appreciative. Our intel sources have been reporting to us for 4-5 years and never question them. I don't challenge what you share and invite you to share whatever it is. Text it or get it to me. It could make the difference. We want to make sure the info is real and solid information. I give you info that will give you an advantage post RV. Some will be utilized to go to the bank, and that is why I am still here and to keep the sanity and more. We are in it to win it. The focus is to keep us all content when any opportunity comes you can take advantage of it. Now onto the RV. We are all waiting for the inevitable. Wouldn't it be nice to enjoy small RV's? We will give you additional info to make the decision. Do I go now or do I wait? You will be able to make the decision once you receive additional information. How can a member benefit from this? We share the info and how to benefit from it. Are you rready? We are expecting good things this week still. Our best sources have every reason to believe and said Good Friday will be like no other Good Friday ever. This is not saying we are looking for the publice release on Friday, but this week could possibly be it. If it is not, then we wait. You know it is coming. The writing is on the wall. You know it is coming. Key info we have been waiting to hear is happening. Yes, I am just as excited as I have been. Now the question is do you believe because I do Believe,. As soon as something happens I will keep you updated and will post it in the forum. Unless it is the big one, we will contact you everyway. It is coming to us. It is already done! Enjoy your humpday Wednesday! Rayren 98

IMF expects Arab economies to grow 2.7% next year

Wednesday, April 12 2017 at 11: 38 AM
(Reuters) - Economic activity in the Arab countries will recover by 2.7% in 2018, according to an economic report.
The report issued by the Arab Monetary Fund, that the Arab oil-exporting countries will see a growth to 2.3% due to the return of oil production of previous tracks and continues to increase global prices.
It also attributed its expectations to the expected positive impact of the declining impact of fiscal discipline policies on demand levels, as well as expectations of relative improvement in the internal situation of some of these countries.
The report, titled "The Arab Economic Outlook," reported that the expected improvement in economic performance for the coming year includes Gulf countries and other Arab oil exporting countries to 2.2% and 3%, respectively.
Arab oil producers are witnessing a decline in their revenues due to the decline in crude prices in the world markets, while Arab countries are experiencing security tensions as a result of revolutions and wars or their consequences for neighboring countries.
According to the report, economic activity in oil-importing countries will continue to improve, reaching 4.1% growth due to increased external demand due to improved global economic activity, which will boost export and investment levels.
The IMF predicted that Arab economies would slow down in 2017, recording growth of around 2.3% as the rate of growth of oil exporting countries fell to 1.8% due to the reduction in oil production under the OPEC agreement.
Inflation expectations for 2017 and 2018 indicate that the rate will be affected by a combination of domestic factors, including continued measures to rationalize subsidies, the introduction of value added tax, and the possibility of new taxes such as selective taxation.
The report added that under the previous factors, the inflation rate in the Arab countries is expected to reach 9.8% this year and 9.6% in 2018.

Frank26...for that last week of April...[27, 28, 29]...That’s when I believe in my heart that the Iraqi Dinar might actually be sent into the international world with an international rate. The articles...told you that this was their goal....To get to 1000:1 and then to 1:1.
...When it leaves the borders, when it jumps across that fence, that 1:1 in my opinion is going to climb. And there are the articles that have told us that it’s maybe about 1.14 or 1.17. In my opinion: no! No, I told you that everything has been doubled.
Delta...I monitor the CBI Arabic site. I have more confirmation...when the rate changes...on the Arabic side...they will send a memo to the bank...every bank before the change occurs. According to the IMF...this must happen...banks to make the change either just before they open OR just after they close. We might be able to know 24 hours or 10 hours before they open by monitoring the CBI website. The new rate of the CBI website would probably show up after business hours...so in America it would probably show up at night. The CBI spreadsheet... the rate for February / March shows the exchange rate around 87 cents.

gm to all , no change on the IQD on the CBI today yet …. come on rv
Red:
I no longer believe the RV is going to happen,, for I believe now it already has happened, we are now awaiting the nice folks to show it to us. called my banker yesterday he spent 5 minutes on a rant about the IQD being a scam yasa yasa yasa, yawn, I said thankyou and disconnected, when will they learn ? after the fact I suppose.
Atlast-51:
Hi Red... I found that when you ask them "how can a country's currency be a scam?", they usually don't have an answer for that. My answer is that just because people have used the currecny to scam people doesn't mean the currency itself "is" the scam... just my two cents
Red:
then the banker said I hope you dont have any of this worthless paper? I said not enough to cause me any sleepless night even if it never revalues, his reply what a shame and waste, time will tell.
AtLast-51:
Red.... please make sure he's one of the first people you talk to after your exchange. Not to push it in his face... just to get him to understand that he really needs to does his own research and not just "tow the party line". Wise investors always look silly to everyone else, until their rich of course! then everyone wants to talk to us….. Apple, Microsoft, Dell... all were once thought to be "worthless dreams"

The US Government is the largest holder of the Iraqi Dinar oustside of Iraq speculated to be 4 trillion IQD. That sure would put a good size dent in the US deficit.

I wish we could ask the banks that stated they will exchange the ZIM if they will take the 2008 currencies just to be sure,

We also have seen an amazing change in the political and legal environment since PM Abadi has taken office in 2014 as he worked with the IMF towards set goals. New banking and financial practices have been put in place and  loans to help the struggling economy. So we have seen great changes which make me believe the articles is more of summarizing all the items they have already accomplished than what needs to be done. From everything else I am reading in the news too, I believe these major changes are now triggering a necessity for a very significant change to the Iraqi dinar value But many will say that all the needed laws are not yet in place and I agree...there are some laws that still need to be put in place.   [post 2 of 2]

Called the head of the National Alliance Ammar al-Hakim leaders of the coalition to begin the procedures for the selection of his presidency coming from now, while called for a re-formulation of the relationship between the center and the region.
"The National Alliance has recently been able to perform its duty despite a lot of intransigence and distortions to get out the coalition ship," al-Hakim told a news conference. From the state of stagnation and directed towards the right track, "pointing out that" the current presidency of the coalition is nearing the end of the term of the presidency of the rotating, "calling the leaders of the coalition to make him role model in the exchange of positions and the rotation of the presidency without delay.
He added that "the National Alliance achieved the minimum unity in the Shiite arena and was able to build and do its institutions in record time from the moment of the mandate of the current presidency, while confirmed his prior knowledge that the task is plagued by many obstacles and uncertainties," but "the coalition in a record time to calm down Many of the storms of politics and reduce the political scramble between its components and the national forces. "
He described the national majority as "the sail that will be launched by the ship of Iraq," asserting "support and adoption of the national majority, not the numerical majority," the 2018 elections returned as "sensitive and fateful and the stage that Iraq will pass before the elections impose on its political forces unity behind strategic objectives and principles "The post-election phase needs political understandings that produce a comfortable national majority capable of leading Iraq to the next stage," he said.
He called on Hakim to "re-formulate the relationship between the region and the center in a more realistic and national way and preserve the prestige of the federal government that we believe in and also the rights of the region," warning that "convulsions and provocations and movements are not studied lead to any result only caused by a lot of unjustified, Explaining that "the Iraqi people in the region has been suffering for some time from the problem of the interruption of salaries and reduce support and the stagnation of the economic situation and internal problems that must be resolved by harmony and harmony and benefit from the experiences of large and difficult experienced by the Kurds over dozens of years.
He expressed his confidence in "the President of the region Massoud Barzani and other Kurdish leaders to reach the stage of internal stability, which will reflect on the stability of the relationship between the center and the region and confidence in the leadership of the Kurdistan region, which understands that some irresponsible steps do not serve Kurdish rights and do not protect the national unity of Iraq, All to be as much as the historical responsibility and be very keen to keep away from populist and uneducated decisions, "the relationship between the center and the province and provinces returned" the basis for building a free democratic federal Iraq. "
Al-Hakim renewed his call to "shed light on the existing problems and launch a comprehensive national settlement. It is not important for the labels, but for the content, there are those who call it a social settlement and this is the first step in the national settlement," noting that "the current international situation will determine its positions according to the national situation in Iraq, And the state if the international community is convinced that the Iraqis themselves are not convinced of the solutions that lead them to build a just state and protect their homeland. "
"Many people have tried to avoid proposing the national reconciliation project, although everyone knows that it is the only beginning that will lead us to safety," he said, calling on all to "realize that the real leaders are the ones who put forward the big projects regardless of their popularity or debate."
Al-Hakim said that victory would not have been achieved without calling on God and the will that fills the hearts of our people, noting that many tried to plant frustration and in some stations to reach their goal. "But our people have a spiritual spirit, And victory and our sons today on the fronts, glorify the finest feats and offer the world the lesson of steadfastness and victory in the most difficult circumstances, "describing heroes in the armed forces and the federal police and the popular and tribal masses and the Peshmerga with" pride, dignity and dignity made great sacrifices and stood up and won and proved that Iraq and Lod and that men are born from the womb of attitudes and positions were at the top of pride and honor and dignity. "
He called on all to "sense the real dangers faced by Iraq and the need to exercise freedom with a great degree of awareness and responsibility," adding that "freedom should not be uncontrolled and irresponsible, but it is the cause of conflict and the division of national and community ranks. Freedom of others and dignity. "
Al-Hakim stressed that "the need to respect all political forces and respect for brotherly and friendly countries of Iraq, especially the countries that stood and supported the country in times of distress," noting that "the launch of aggressive slogans tendentious does not express a political position as much as a political short-sightedness, "The fate of the country and the future of the country needs decisive positions, not narrow views, bets, bargains, and policy amateurs," he said.
"The Iraqis have suffered at the hands of the dictator and the tyranny of this weapon, and they are the most people in the region to know the extent of the suffering caused by the use of such weapons as criminal, which does not distinguish between a fighter and a child," he said.
He called for "the formation of an international commission of inquiry to find out the real source of these weapons and those who used them so as not to escape the grip of justice amid the chaos of the existing war," stressing that "the violent reactions and accusations and the initiation of pre-emptive measures without investigation and scrutiny will contribute to complicate the complex Syrian situation already, What is important is to focus on finding a political solution that will spare the Syrian people more blood and suffering.
