Hezbollah Brigades: We will fail all American plans in Iraq

April 1 / IRNA - The Islamic Resistance, the Hezbollah Brigades in Iraq, confirmed on Tuesday that it will fail all American plans in Iraq, and that the American forces are occupying forces, and if they leave and the government imposes its prestige, there is no justification for carrying weapons.

"The United States has violated the Strategic Framework Agreement, and the American forces in Iraq are occupying forces," Kataeb spokesman Mohamed Mohy said in a televised interview broadcast on the Iraqi "Al-Ittijah" channel.
He added, "The American forces, if they exist at the request of the government, will not be combat forces, and that our pressure for the exit of the American forces came after informing the government, political forces, and parliament." Mohi stressed, "The Hezbollah brigades will fail all American plans in Iraq," pointing out, "If the Americans leave and the government imposes its prestige, there is no justification for carrying weapons."
He pointed out, "The current or future government cannot bring out American forces through diplomatic means, and that America is looking for its interests only and we advise some parties not to bet on their people."

Oil records the largest monthly and quarterly loss ever

Record crude oil prices sealed a quarter of a year of fluctuations with the largest loss ever, as US crude contracts and Brent collapsed throughout March due to the stalemate that hit the global economy due to the Corona virus pandemic, as well as the outbreak of a price war between Russia and Saudi Arabia.
Both measurements lost nearly two-thirds of their value over the first quarter, and most of the loss came from March's 55 percent decline.
US West Texas Intermediate crude rescued the month's close, up a modest two percent on Tuesday, while Brent closed slightly lower.
Global fuel demand has been shattered by the travel restrictions imposed by the Corona pandemic. Major dealers and banks expect demand to fall between 20 and 30 percent in April, and continued weak consumption as economic activity weakens for several months to come.
The settlement price for West Texas was set to climb 39 cents to $ 20.48 a barrel. US crude fell 54 percent in March and 66 percent in the first three months of the year, in its worst decline since the contract began trading in 1983.
Brent crude contracts for May delivery closed two years down to $ 22.74 a barrel, before it expires. Global benchmark crude fell 66 percent in the first quarter and 55 percent in March, in its worst quarterly and monthly decline ever.
And June's most active June contract closed down seven cents to $ 26.35 a barrel.
"As a hostage, the oil market has been taken hostage," said Michael Tran, managing director of energy strategy at RBC Capital Markets in New York.
“The unprecedented pace of demand crashes forced refineries, at a global level, to cut production, leaving barrels from the United States to the North Sea to Asia looking, usually unsuccessfully, for shelter.”

4-1-2020   Intel Guru Frank26  ...the same reserves that they use to support their currency exchange rate is what they are talking about tapping into now.  The IMF is not going allow that.  Why Because the IMF wants them to raise the value of their currency and they need those reserves in order to raise the value of their currency...the only move is to exhale and raise the value of the currency...they need to jump into the international market with their own currency, with their own value.

3-31-2020   Intel Guru MarkZ   [via PDK]   Still hearing good things about this week… Banking contacts are still hopeful they will see their funds release tomorrow…that is what they are being told…i don’t see how that is possible because of the logistics for exchange centers which are running on a skeleton crew. They have sick people with sick family members. I do not know how they will roll this out...They are still trying to figure this one out.

3-31-2020   Newshound Guru Pimpy   As soon as someone finds out you're a millionaire man you can expect for people to find ways to try to scam it from you.  Sue you for it, purposely accidentally fall down in your home.  They're gonna do whatever it take to get the money from you.  Let a lawyer set you up so that you're protected.  In addition to that let a financial advising team set you up.  You should tell yourself you don't want all your money at one time.  Let your money be invested in such a way that you live off the interest and you never touch the principle.  Be smart about it.  [NOTE:  Speak with your financial advisor at the appropriate time.]   [post 2 of 2]

3-31-2020   Newshound Guru Kaperoni    I had high hopes that this year significant progress was going to be made in Iraq regarding their economy and investment in the private sector.  But in the last several weeks a lot has happened to set back the economy everything from the prime minister to low oil prices...to the Coronavirus.  Until Iraq can get a new prime minister, a cabinet, parliament gets back to passing laws and the Coronavirus is resolved. I don't see the private sector opening up and investors coming to Iraq. And in 2013 the IMF was very clear on the direction for the dinar. They will create a diverse market economy/private sector and simultaneously float the Iraqi dinar to create an opportunity for the dinar to appreciate as a result of the success of the economy. Though this will give an opportunity for the dinar to go up in value, and also allow us as investors to possibly profit from that appreciation, it will never happen overnight...

[Follow-up]

Member of Parliament Assaad Al-Murshidi confirmed on Tuesday that Prime Minister-designate Adnan Al-Zarfi will submit a formal request to the House of Representatives next week to hold a session to give his government confidence.

Al-Murshidi said in a statement, “The House of Representatives is unable to apologize for holding a session to give the Zarfi government confidence due to the outbreak of the Corona epidemic, as this contradicts the constitutional timing,” pointing out that “the parliament’s apology may lead to major constitutional problems that cannot be solved.”

He added that "Al-Zarfi is in the process of completing his cabinet, and the procedures for political consultations to pass his government," noting that "Al-Zarfi will submit a formal request to the House of Representatives next week to set the date for the session of granting confidence to his government."

And a number of political figures suggested, earlier, that Parliament apologize for holding a session to grant the government of Prime Minister-designate Adnan Al-Zarfi in light of the Corona pandemic and the application of the curfew.

He added that "Al-Zarfi is unable to grant Al-Halbusi these ministries, as some blocs are also demanding access to ministerial portfolios," noting that "Al-Halbusi will stand against the passage of the government of Al-Zarfi to the intersection of interests between them."

The MP revealed the parliamentary bloc of Sadiqun Fadel Jaber, on Monday, a great split between the Shiite political blocs over the passing of the Prime Minister-designate Adnan Al-Zarfi, so he showed that the Al-Fateh Alliance is still adhering to his position rejecting the passage of Al-Zarfi.

Will this gargle kill Corona? .. Global Health answers

3/29/2020 12:18
[Follow-up]

Social media abounds with a lot of information related to the elimination of the Corona virus, but many of this information is incorrect and is not based on scientific and medical grounds.

One of the ways many social media users communicate is that gargling with vinegar or warm, salt water saves the patient from the deadly virus.

In response, the World Health Organization says there is no evidence to suggest that salt water is destroying the Corona virus, according to Reuters news agency.
The organization explains that there is some limited evidence that rinsing the nose with a saline solution (salt water) may help people recover from a cold faster, but this has not been shown to prevent respiratory infections.

Doctors at the Johns Hopkins Health Institute also emphasized that gargling with salt water does not help protect against coronaviruses, including corona virus.

Although saltwater gargling has proven effective as a home remedy for sore throats, sore throats are not a common symptom when infected with the Coronavirus.

There are no formal medical guidelines that recommend using salt, warm water or vinegar to get rid of the Corona virus, whether from specialized centers or even governments.
