Oil prices continue to fall amid dollar recovery

link

Oil prices continued to fall Thursday after the biggest drop since July due to the strength of the dollar, as concerns about OPEC supplies returned.

The dollar affected futures this week, as the us currency's rise helped push oil down 2.9% on Wednesday, its lowest level since early August.

Meanwhile, Iraq may seek a two-month extension to implement compensatory cuts under the OPEC+production agreement, and OPEC production rose last month as producers eased production restrictions, which meant more supply as demand was reduced.

OPEC is testing demand's desire by bringing more supply back to the market, while Chinese crude oil purchases are slowing down.

West Texas Intermediate crude for October delivery fell 6 cents to $41.44 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange as of 6:00 GMT.

Brent for November fell 14 cents to $44.29 on the European Ice Futures Exchange after falling 2.5% in the previous session.

Despite a drop in U.S. crude inventories by more than 9 million barrels last week, according to a report from the Energy Information Administration, that has not picked up prices as demand for gasoline in America remains nearly 10% lower than last year's levels showing the continuing impact of the CORONA virus epidemic.

The private sector is the true partner

link

When we look for the role of the private sector in all economies, we see that it is the main part on which it depends in building a strong economic system except in Iraq. When we search for the role of this sector, we see marginalized, so why is this marginalization? Who is standing behind him? Can the public sector save the country from this crisis?

These questions and more need explicit answers because this sector is the only savior for the country with its solutions to sterile problems in the Iraqi economy, including
1- Unemployment, which is considered one of the most intractable problems in Iraq due to population density and the difficulty of hiring government institutions. Note that every year, more than 400,000 students graduate from Iraqi universities. Of course, government jobs cannot absorb these numbers, but the private sector can absorb these numbers through private economic institutions.

2- The alternatives are also one of the intractable problems in Iraq because the economy depends at a rate ranging from 92% to 95% on oil imports, and because in light of the many crises we must reach a complete conviction that oil is linked to internal and external decisions, and a day comes and the price of a barrel of oil becomes a price. A grain of dirt. We must think of alternatives. Iraq is one of the countries rich in wealth. The private sector is the one who can exploit these resources and produce various industries that constitute large imports to the country that may exceed oil imports.

9-3-2020   Intel Guru Bruce   [via WiserNow]   ...even though this journey is going longer than we all thought -  I am still excited...  it is to a point where the QFS would be fully operational – which I understand it is...we believe the Swift is gone for the very most part we have to confirm this but I believe it is...we’ve got a system that is functioning without the ability of it being hacked that is a very positive thing for us moving forward -  and I know that’s going to be very valuable.   ...We understand that the roll out is to occur for all of us in this week the 1st – 8th  which is Tuesday thru Tuesday...You know we have UN operational rates changing on the 15th - that should be changing from where the public could actually see those on the UN operational website page...
9-2-2020   Intel Guru MarkZ   [via PDK]  [What currencies do you expect to be in the first basket?]  I am hearing almost all currencies will be in the first basket…and that they will allow those not ready or trailing to float up to their values over the next few months .  The big ones we will see in the first basket are the dong, dinar, Zim and rupiah.

9-2-2020   Intel Guru Delta
...every country in order for them to be able to [be part of QFS] ...first of all they have to join the system.  Second you can not manipulate your currency.  You have to have a fair currency - a fair exchange rate - in order for you to join the QFS...looks like Iraq is included there...this is a smart and brilliant way President Trump and the US treasury for them to come up with this system because that's the only way you can force all the countries to basically come up with a true rate.  And Iraq is included...excellent news...you can not do it with the auctions anymore or at a program rate...

9-2-2020   Intel Guru Frank26  ...this change that they're about to do. This formula.  This coding...is all brand new...I strongly believe currencies are being changed with their asset ability in order to be part of what Donald Trump is doing with currencies around the world and with Iraq...Do You think the Iraqi dinar is being groomed-prepared specially for this program [GFS]...Looks to me, Donald Trump a brilliant business man has once again done it.  He found a solution on how for countries to stop stealing not only our money but Iraq's money...this goes all the way down to the common thief, to drug dealers, to terrorists.  This is going to cover everything.  This is like a pill that solves cancer.  This system [QFS} will solve the problem with the monetary system of the Iraqi dinar...

9-2-2020   Newshound Guru Pimpy  ...there's a lot of positive steps moving forward.  This is what we're looking for.  I said this before and I will say it once again. Do not get immune to the good news.  There's a lot of good news that's coming out daily and my concern is people get impatient and go, 'Who cares about the good news. Just make it happen.'  Don't do that....there are a lot of positive steps being taken forward...you should be excited about all of this...

9-2-2020   Newshound Guru Adam Montana  There is no serious negative news on Iraq at the moment, which puts them in a good situation. The world has no major concerns about Iraq at the moment - they aren't causing problems, there is no major civil unrest (like there was 6 months ago), and the financial side of things is positive (OIL).  Nothing in particular says "RV by Friday!", but we all know better than to expect a heads up from Iraq.  They will do what they want, when they want... I hope you're ready. ...Go Iraq, and GO RRRRVVVVVV!!!  [post 2 of 2]

9-2-2020   Newshound Guru Adam Montana   ...OIL continues to be solidWhat's not to like, if you were Iraq?  ...Kazzammie just met with Trump recently, and the reports still say it was a productive and successful meeting. The parties that the HCL are most important to are meeting, discussing long term plans (something we have almost never seen on this level). The region is fairly quiet, and things are simply good overall.  If we are to be realistic, the best time for Iraq to make a major move is during a quiet time.  [post 1 of 2....stay tuned]

9-2-2020   Intel Guru MarkZ   [via PDK]   Not expecting any news until Thursday Evening…overnight….but hearing nothing changed so I am getting a bit excited.  I am not hearing today…but...all kinds of activities over the weekend…and banking apts. for you and I starting next week. That’s what I am hearing. I hope its accurate…hopefully by Friday morning chat we have lovely news.

9-2-2020   Intel Guru Footforward   [What’s you guys thoughts on the quantum financial system happening between now and September 11?]  I do think it's coming. I'm not convinced it's coming as soon as people think.  I also have the opinion we aren't waiting on that for the RV to happen...

9-2-2020   Newshound/Intel Guru Petra   ...What is Iraq known for Stealing from the auctions.  Stealing money.  All that goes away when the quantified system is engaged.  Let's think about this.  Could we be waiting for this QFS to take off?  Could that be one of the reasons that we're waiting for for this to occur

9-2-2020   Intel Guru MarkZ   [via PDK]   [is the swift system gone?]  I think it is running parallel to the new system…we are seeing so many news articles now…   I believe the QFS in in place...IMO it’s not fully done though...

9-2-2020   Newshound Guru Militiaman  ...the United States Treasury...is using the language of 'global currency reset' arriving with the QFS Whether or not it's all at once it doesn't say that.  It just says that it's arrival is because of the QFS...that's why I've found that the most powerful thing I've seen because we all thought it [Global Currency Reset] was mythology.  No body took it terribly seriously because the phrase in and of itself was not given out by the IMF or the World Bank or anybody until now...how many counties come out and do something in respect to this at one time is to be determined but one of the main feelers is the Iraqi dinar is the lead in with the QFS...
