Oil falls slightly after price jump
Oil prices fell on Thursday despite holding near one-month highs after futures jumped as the International Energy Agency and others raised expectations of oil demand as major economies recovered from the epidemic.
Brent crude fell 4 cents to $66.54 a barrel by 0519 GMT after rising 4.6 percent on Wednesday and closing at its highest level since March 17.
U.S. West Texas Intermediate futures fell 11 cents, to $63.2 per barrel, after rising 4.9% in the previous session.
U.S. crude inventories fell 5.9 million barrels last week, more than double analysts' expectations, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) said Wednesday.
Gasoline supplied to the market last week, an indicator of U.S. fuel consumption, rose to 8.9 million barrels per day, the highest level since August, according to the Energy Information Administration report.
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), which has blocked supplies along with other producers including Russia, this week raised its forecast for global oil demand this year.
OPEC expects demand to rise 70,000 barrels per day from last month's forecast and global demand is likely to rise by 5.95 million barrels per day in 2021.

On Thursday, the US State Department expressed its anger, in a comment on the missile strikes that targeted an international coalition center at Erbil Airport.
"People are angry at the attacks in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The Iraqi people have suffered for a very long time from this kind of violence and the violation of their sovereignty," said Foreign Ministry spokesman Ned Price, in a blog post seen by "People" (April 15, 2021).
On Thursday, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces directed Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to open an immediate investigation into the "attack" that took place in Erbil.
The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasool, said in a statement received by "People", a copy of it (April 15, 2021), that "the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, directed an immediate investigation into the attacks that occurred in Erbil and other regions."
He added, "Al-Kazemi emphasized that the security of Iraq is the responsibility of the government and the Iraqi security forces in all their formations, and that this kind of terrorist acts that take place during the blessed month of Ramadan aim to destabilize security."
And he continued, "At a time when the Sons of Iraq in our security forces write the most wonderful pictures in defending this country and combating terrorism and crime in all its forms, some are trying to create chaos and destabilize security and stability, which is unacceptable and will face the force of law and the solidarity of the Iraqi people."
And the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, condemned the two attacks that targeted Erbil airport and Bashiqa camp, and confirmed that the perpetrators would be held accountable for their actions.
The Prime Minister wrote a series of tweets on his Twitter account, saying: “I condemn in the strongest terms the terrorist attack that took place tonight on Erbil International Airport and the Turkish camp in Bashiqa, and condemn the terrorist group behind it. These recent attacks are nothing but a blatant attempt to undermine our internal security and our cooperation with International Alliance. "
He added, "Any armed groups that do not operate within the official Iraqi security forces must immediately withdraw from the borders of the Kurdistan region, and in the coming days I will hold talks with Iraqi and international partners to discuss ways to achieve this."
The Prime Minister said, “Tonight I spoke with Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi and Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi to reaffirm our common goal of holding these outlaw groups accountable. I assure the people of the Kurdistan Region that the members of the terrorist group responsible for this attack will be held accountable for their actions.”
On Wednesday, the US Department of Defense confirmed that it was aware of the details of the recent attack on Erbil International Airport.
The spokeswoman for the Pentagon said, in a statement to American media, followed by "People" (April 14, 2021), that the Ministry of Defense is aware of the reports about the targeting of Erbil International Airport, in Iraqi Kurdistan.
The spokeswoman added that "preliminary information indicates a large fire in the vicinity of the airport," according to what was reported by Al-Hurra website.
And the Ministry of Interior in the Kurdistan region said, on Wednesday, that a drone carrying a high-explosive substance targeted an international coalition center inside Erbil Airport.
The ministry indicated in a statement that "People" received a copy of it, that "after investigation and follow-up by the concerned authorities about the causes of the explosion that was heard tonight at Erbil International Airport, it became clear that the sound of the explosion was caused by a drone carrying TNT. T) was highly explosive, targeting a center for the International Coalition Forces at the airport.
"Fortunately, the explosion did not cause any loss of life, but it caused material damage to a building, while investigations are still ongoing to determine the source and location of the drone launch," the statement said.
On Wednesday, the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Hoshyar Zebari, described the recent bombing of Erbil airport this evening as a "dangerous escalation."
Zebari said in a blog posted on "People" (April 14, 2021), "Tonight there was another terrorist attack by plane, to undermine the security of Iraqi Kurdistan."
He added, "It seems that the same militias that targeted the airport two months ago have returned to it again, and this is a clear and dangerous escalation."
Parliamentary Finance reveals a government move to prepare the 2022 supplemental budget in the middle of this year
The government is preparing to prepare the budget for next year 2022, while the Parliamentary Finance Committee noted the possibility of presenting a supplementary budget in the middle of this year.

There's a set number they're looking for. They're trying to collect the 3 zeros in their country because they know you and I as speculators we'll turn ours in...they did send dinars to banks all around the world, they were all electronic/digital. Brilliant...

[do we need a paymaster?] A paymaster is a like an attorney at a house closing. They take a large amount of funds...they make sure all fees are paid…all interested parties are paid…and everything is settled…We do not need a paymaster. As we understand our Tier 1 banks will act as a paymaster…they will distribute to us, make sure all fees are paid, covered and done.
