Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Program Implementation and Strategic Planning Committee, Muhammad Al-Baldawi, confirmed on Sunday that there is an Iraqi will to implement the Chinese agreement and complete the Faw port and the dry canal, but it is hampered by US restrictions and pressures.

Al-Baldawi pointed out that "in the event of the completion of the port and dry canal project and the implementation of all Chinese agreements, the oil resources of the treasury will be secondary."

"The Iraqi government is continuing to implement the Iraqi-Chinese agreement, but under the supervision of the US Treasury Department in terms of project financing sources and how the money is spent, and therefore there are no real concerns about the implementation of this agreement."
And Qusay continued by saying: "The Iraqi Prime Minister, during his visit to Washington, raised the issue of justice in distributing opportunities between Chinese and American companies, given that American companies also want to work in Iraq in the same way that Chinese companies operate. The issue is not an obstacle as much as it is sharing opportunities. ".
Qusay added, "Iraq has achieved an advanced classification in terms of available resources, and its geographical location is one of these resources. Iraq is seeking to diversify its economy and not rely on oil. Iraq is poised to raise its economic strength to be within the scope of the twenty largest countries."
Iraqi President: Our foreign policy is based on strengthening regional security and stability
Iraqi President Barham Salih affirmed that Iraq is moving towards a foreign policy based on strengthening regional security and stability, and that Iraq's security and sovereignty are based on the security and peace of the region, noting that the region needs understandings to ease its tensions .
And the presidential office said - in a statement carried by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) - that President Saleh received at the Peace Palace in Baghdad, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Baghdad, Elbrus Kutrashev, and they discussed ways to develop bilateral relations and the importance of strengthening cooperation in the field of security and defense .
The office indicated that during the meeting, trade, economic and cultural cooperation was reviewed in a way that achieves the common interests of the two friendly peoples, in addition to regional developments in the region .
In the same context, Iraqi President Barham Salih stressed that international solidarity is necessary to confront global challenges, foremost of which is the fight against terrorism and extremism .
Salih said that "Iraq is looking forward to strengthening its political, economic and trade relations," stressing "the importance of international and regional solidarity in order to confront various global challenges, foremost of which is combating terrorism and extremism, easing tensions and establishing peace in the region .

We are very sorry to see that Nineveh is still suffering from service and construction problems.
Corruption and mismanagement are among the factors that caused the fall of the province in the hands of the ISIS gang. We fought corruption as much as we could, and I know that all Iraqis and the people of Mosul among them supported us in the war against corruption, but the battle is long and it may be greater than the battle of ISIS, and it needs our solidarity together.
We formed a special committee for the reconstruction of Mosul, and directed us to develop a road map and a quick action plan, to address the problems that the governorate suffers from.
We have also started work on important strategic projects in the governorate, including Mosul Airport and the train station.
We direct the Ministers to make regular visits to Nineveh; To find out their problems, and to develop effective and quick solutions to them.
All ministries must provide all their capabilities to the Mosul Reconstruction Committee; to succeed in its mission.
I say to our people in Mosul: The future is for the lovers of Iraq, and there is no future for corruption, terrorism and incompetence, and we are with you and your family in all the cities of Iraq, with you to rise, we help each other, no one helps us after God but ourselves, our will, and our authentic values.

Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi inspects the Mosul Dam
This morning, Monday, the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, inspected the Mosul Dam and the dam management project building, briefed him on the dam's work, and met its workers.
The Mosul Dam project manager gave a detailed explanation of the dam, its importance, and the work done to maintain it, and the filling work from the top of the dam was also inspected.

The Council of Ministers votes on 20 decisions regarding Nineveh in its session held in the governorate headed by the Prime Minister
The Council of Ministers voted on 20 decisions regarding Nineveh Governorate, during its regular session held today, Monday, in the city of Mosul, headed by Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi.
The decisions were summarized as follows:
First / releasing the funds of Nineveh Governorate, the frozen balances, to projects for the benefit of the movable departments, provided that these projects are identified, in coordination with them and the High Committee for the Reconstruction of Mosul, and included in coordination between them and the Ministry of Planning, in accordance with Article (2 / first / 6 / a) of the budget law Federal General Assembly for the fiscal year 2021.
Second/
1- Allocating the remaining area of Al-Ghazlani camp (after transferring the ownership of an area of (3000) dunums from the aforementioned camp to the current Ministry of Defense, as indicated in the sequence (60) of the meeting minutes, according to the Council of Ministers’ decision (243 of 2020) to the municipality Mosul, for the establishment of a residential investment project in accordance with the Investment Law (13 of 2006), provided that the project is offered in public auction as required by Cabinet Resolution (245 of 2019).
2- Forming a committee from the Ministries of Defense, Transport, Construction and Housing, the National Investment Commission and the Civil Aviation Authority, the Supreme Commission for the Reconstruction of Nineveh, to consider developing a comprehensive plan for the remaining areas of the Ghazlani camp lands within one month, and to take sectoral approvals regarding the above ( approval).
Third / The Central Bank of Iraq has taken the appropriate measures regarding the re-work of banking companies in Nineveh Governorate in accordance with the laws and instructions, after the security audit is carried out by the National Security Agency within a period not exceeding 30 days from the date of receiving the audit request from the Central Bank, and upon its completion the approval is considered Obtained when no answer is given.
Fourth / The Ministry of Industry and Minerals rehabilitated factories and laboratories in Nineveh Governorate, according to the financial discounts available to it.
Fifth / Reconstruction of the old city of Mosul, according to what was stated in paragraph (1) mentioned above, in coordination with the relevant authorities.
Sixth / The Ministry of Finance paid the compensation of the first batch sent from the budget department in the aforementioned ministry, according to the letter of the Nineveh Appeal Court Presidency No. (1088) dated June 16, 2021, and Nineveh Governorate letter No. 2742 dated June 17, 2021, if available Financial assignments.
Seventh, the Civil Aviation Authority, in coordination with the French side, took appropriate measures as soon as possible, regarding the follow-up to the implementation of the rehabilitation of Mosul International Airport with the representative of the French company (ADP-1), as indicated in the Cabinet Resolution (221 of 2020).

1- The Tourism Authority of the Ministry of Culture undertakes to review the investment contract concluded regarding the Nineveh International Oberoi Hotel, and to take the appropriate measures in this regard.
2- The Minister of Culture may offer the hotel above for investment, as an exception from Cabinet Resolution (245) of 2019, to one of the companies specialized in this field after completing the aforementioned procedures in paragraph (1).
3 - Inclusion of the Mosul Hotel in paragraph (2) above.
Ninth / Waiting to create new administrative units in Nineveh Governorate until the population census is conducted, as indicated in the Cabinet Resolution (34 of 2020).
Tenth / Establishing the Hawally Street and the Sixth and Seventh Bridges in the city of Mosul, in coordination between Nineveh Governorate and the ministries (Finance, Planning, Construction, Housing, Municipalities, Public Works, and Culture).
Eleventh / The ministries (Finance and Planning) took appropriate measures regarding the implementation of Article (2/Second/Deficit/2/B/2/K) of the Federal General Budget Law for the fiscal year 2021, to finance a number of infrastructure projects for the benefit of the Ministry of Health during 2021, including the construction of the Republican Hospital in Nineveh Governorate.
Twelfth: The Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works resumed work on localized ministerial projects in Nineveh Governorate, in coordination with the Ministry of Planning, according to financial allocations.
Thirteenth / The Ministry of Planning undertakes to find a treatment for the suspended projects in Nineveh Governorate, according to the aforementioned governorate’s proposals or any other proposals on the subject according to what was stated in Article (2/First/6/C) of the Federal General Budget Law for the year Finance 2021.
Fourteenth / Salah al-Din Governorate took legal measures regarding the settlement of the contract signed with Zahra Company regarding the project of the Ministry of Electricity in the northern region (Bayji line - west of Baghdad, and Qayyarah gas line - Yarmajah secondary) if it had a legal justification, with the joint operations command assuming the line of insurance Qayyara gas and protect the teams assigned to implement the project.
Fifteenth / The inclusion of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in coordination between it and the Ministries of Finance and Planning, the projects whose details are shown in the accompanying list linking the letter of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. (S/2302) dated July 12, 2021, based on the provisions of Article (2) /First/6/a) of the Federal General Budget Law for the fiscal year 2021, even if that is in the 2022 budget.
Sixteenth / Approval of the study prepared by the Higher Committee for the Reconstruction of Mosul, numbered 190, dated July 10, 2021, and considered it a ground for projects needed by Nineveh Governorate.
Seventeenth / Approval of the following:
1- Forming a committee headed by a representative of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, and the membership of representatives from the Ministries of (Finance/State Real Estate Department, Justice/Real Estate Registration Department), the Office of Endowments for Christian, Yazidi and Mandaean Religions, and Nineveh Governorate.
2- The aforementioned committee shall set the rules for ownership and ownership in the Christian towns located in the Nineveh Plain.

The head of the Pharmacists Syndicate, Mustafa Al-Hiti, said in a statement to the official agency that the independent watched today, Monday, that “the pricing of medicines is carried out by the Ministry of Health according to the law, as there is a committee consisting of 5 members, two of whom are nominated by the Minister of Health and one from the General Pharmaceutical Company, the fourth from Samarra Pharmaceuticals and the fifth From the Pharmacists Syndicate,” noting that “the pricing of medicines is not within the authority of the Syndicate.”
He added, "The union started a project to reduce drug prices, as there is a new idea that we presented to the cabinet, which is that the difference in the current exchange rate of the dollar is 1470 in the private sector, while in the state it is 1200, where if we adhere to and price medicines at 1200, we will secure a very large price difference of About 20% between the drug smuggled across the border and the drug coming from the Ministry of Health,” noting that “this difference will secure the next drug in which a credit will be opened for 1,200 dinars, as this drug will be safe, effective, and at an acceptable price.”
He continued, "This proposal was presented to Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, who approved it, and it was sent, and we are still waiting for an answer."
Regarding the procedures for the pharmacist not to be present in his pharmacy, Al-Hiti confirmed that “the percentage of the pharmacist’s presence in pharmacies is good, as this ratio reached between 95 to 99%,” explaining that “any pharmacy without a pharmacist is closed immediately and if the penalty is repeated, the penalty will reach the extent of canceling the license.”
Regarding the destruction of medicines, Al-Hiti stated that “it is not possible to destroy medicines and throw them with waste. If you throw it in the trash.
Regarding the fictitious pharmacies, he stressed that “our problem is in the fictitious shops selling medicines that are spread in the outskirts of the cities,” noting that “we have no authority with these stores, but rather that our procedures are to report organized crime.”
He continued, "The phenomenon of selling medicines on the streets is not within our competence, but rather within the authority of the Ministry of Health and Organized Crime."
