Iraq's 3 leaders to discuss gov't formation with parties: source
27 February 2019
The presidency of Iraq is planning to hold a session of talks with political leaders in the presence of the president, prime minister and parliament speaker to discuss completing the formation of the government and the US presence in Iraq, a source said.
The meeting aims at reconciling between political leaders and agreeing on a mechanism to expedite the completion of the government, the source said.
Prime Minister Adil Abd al-Mahdi has worked on completing the formation of his government since he took the post last October.
On October 24, Abd al-Mahdi managed to get parliamentary approval on 14 out of 22 ministries. However disagreement between political blocs, especially on the security ministries, have thwarted Abd al-Mahdi's efforts to complete the cabinet in a short time.
While Fatah Alliance has frequently tried to force the others to accept Fayadh as the interior ministry candidate, Muqtada al-Sadr affirmed his rejection to Fayadh and any other partisan candidate for interior ministry.
Sadr said that he would instead support the nomination of military leaders who fought against ISIS during Iraq's fight to rid the country of the terrorist group's caliphate.
In February, Fatah Alliance MP Mithaq al-Hamedi said that his alliance has agreed with Saairun to nominate another candidate for the Interior Ministry instead of Fayadh.
National Wisdom Movement MP Asaad al-Morshedi said that former Interior Minister Mohamed al-Ghabban is the most likely to get nominated for the post.

2-27-2019 Guest Guru BobTheTaxMan It does not qualify [reference post 2] …I’m going to make it real simple for you. My research has shown this…It’s going to be treated as ordinary income and that’s that. Now, what would happen if you elected to do it as capital gains and file your return? Here’s what will happen…if you are incorrect and it comes back it will take two years before you hear from them. The amount of penalties and interest that is going to be accumulated over that two year time frame is…going to be big. So you have a choice. On my side I tell people treat it as ordinary income. Yeah you’re going to pay more taxes. That’s true you’re going to pay more taxes on it but I do know this much, within 3 years, because you have three years to amend that return to get money back, within three years somewhere along the line someone is going to get a Letter of Definition from the IRS that definitively says this is how we’re taxing it...and/or there might be rule changes in the IRS that converts this from ordinary income to capital gains. That might happen. I’ve seen it before. [Post 3 of a lot]
2-26-2019 Intel Guru MarkZ A local bank in N. Carolina was said to be showing a rate of $4. Then it disappeared when they came back to exchange. We are sending people to local banks today and see if we can get anyone to exchange today... We want to see how many of them may have value showing on their screens and if any of them are willing to exchange. [what about 800# release for private appt...is that real or no?] 800# yes I believe they are a real thing... You will have a number of banks with their own 800 #s hoping you will come to them…I feel once we get 800 numbers it will take a couple days to make appointments...I always thought that it would be best to do this over a weekend…even a 3 day weekend because it would be better for liquidity...but there is no 3 day weekend soon which means they will just have to work harder and faster. ...I think we are on the cusp of everything happening and if I get news I will let you know.
2-26-2019 Guest Guru BobTheTaxMan 1. I have had a lot of people send me email saying, “ This person is saying this is going to be capital gains and NOT be ordinary income.” I’ve even been sent long convoluted processes someone has created for being able to move money in different ways so that the categorization was redone. I’ll tell you from my own studies, one of the things when I got into this thing over a decade ago…I spent a lot of time researching it. I contacted Several of my financial advisors who worked with their tax attorneys. I got the leading CPA of the east coast who deals in Foex currency exchanges and his research came up with the exact same thing that the attorneys came up with. And that is there are two ways that people might misconstrue that this is supposed to be taxed as capital gains. I can tell you right now from the research they did and my own research the dinar does NOT qualify. [Post 2 of a lot]
2-26-2019 Guest Guru BobTheTaxMan For those of us who have been riding this cotton picking train of the dinar for so long you couldn’t get a better tax opportunity than we have now. It’s just absolutely freaking amazing what we have. The new rules brought in under the Trump Administration give us so much leeway and so much opportunity to be able to save on taxes, to share this with everyone we love, less consequences. The whole tax planning game has changed immensely because of the changes in 2018 and 2019…As Paul Harvey used to say, “Here’s the rest of the story.” There are some things about the IRS, particularly those who come into a lot of money in a hurry that have certain triggering points. I’ve got three of those I want to talk to you about. [Post 1 of A lot]

Snake travels thousands of miles on a flight inside a woman's shoe
2019/2/27 11:44
[Continue - Where]
Having a snake in your shoes can cause a great feeling of horror and panic, which is what happened with this Scottish woman, after a flight from Australia where the plane was cut 9,000 miles!
Moriah Maxwell was shocked when she found a spotted snake in her bag after traveling from Queensland to Glasgow on Thursday.
The snake had settled in her shoes, so he was changing his skin during the long journey. The incident recalls the 2006 film "Snakes in a Jet," in which actor Samuel Jackson plays the role of an FBI agent defying a box full of snakes on board.
Maxwell contacted the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, which isolated the snake. "I had a call from a woman who had just returned from a holiday in Australia and found a small snake in her shoes in her bag," Taylor Johnston, a member of the association, told CNN.
"When I arrived, I carefully removed the snake from its objects," Johnston said. Upon examination of the serpent, it was found to be a spotted, nontoxic snake, according to Johnston.
"The snake is now at the Animal Rescue Center in Edinburgh," Johnston said.
This is not the first time that the snake has overtaken the security apparatus to reach an air carrier. In 2016, a passenger filmed a terrifying moment in which a snake fell into a cabin during a flight from Torreon to Mexico City.
In 2012, a trip to "EgyptAir" was forced to make an emergency landing after the snake had some Jordanian man on board, reportedly.
