The features of the largest bloc begin to appear .. Barzani, al-Sadr, al-Hakim and al-Abadi, so who is their candidate for prime minister?

link

Political sources said that dialogues and discussions may start in the next few days to participate in the upcoming October elections, to resolve the file of forming the largest parliamentary bloc, which will be entrusted with the task of forming the new ministry, and naming its head.

According to the sources who spoke to (Iraq Today), "the features of the bloc may consist of the Sadrist bloc (expected to dissolve first in the elections), the Kurdistan Democratic Party (expected to win the largest number of seats in the Kurdish provinces) and the coalition of state forces composed of the Wisdom Movement headed by Ammar al-Hakim, and the Victory Coalition headed by former Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi.

She indicated that this bloc will include Sunni political forces, and it is likely that the Taqadm bloc will join Al-Halbousi, as well as smaller Sunni lists, while Al-Khanjar will prefer to remain allied with Al-Fateh.

In addition, the Kurdistan Democratic Party's spokesman, Mahmoud Muhammad, announced that there are understandings between his party and the Sadrist movement regarding presenting his party's position on the post of President of the Republic of Iraq.

Mahmoud Muhammad revealed that his party sent a delegation to Baghdad to discuss the future of Iraq with most of the Iraqi political forces and parties, and indicated that the parties that have more common points with the party are the ones with whom it will get closer.

The KDP spokesman added: In fact, we felt that the Sadrist movement's vision is very close to the vision that is being circulated in Kurdistan, or that the KDP is calling for. But we did not conclude any official agreement with the Sadrist movement, but there is an understanding between us, and we left the matter until after the elections.

Many parties make such understandings about the aftermath of the elections and the formation of the government, and this is what we also did.

Regarding the position of President of the Republic of Iraq, which became part of the Kurds' share after 2005 and was going to the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Mahmoud Muhammad said: This depends on the political situation and the understandings that will happen in Kurdistan after the elections.

After all these clear revelations and understandings, the most important question has become:

Who will be the head of the next government:

Al-Kazemi, who is supported by the majority of these forces and large alliances, or Al-Abadi, who is supported by the Victory Alliance?

The answer will definitely not be far off. The elections are close, and the features of the next president will appear very shortly after!

2021.09.23 - 12:08
Baghdad - people

The World Gold Council issued its report for the month of September 2021, which included the ranking of countries in terms of their gold holdings. Saudi Arabia topped the list of Arab countries, and Iraq ranked fifth, while the United States ranked first in the world.

In its latest report, the council said that the possession of the central banks of the world's countries included in the report amounted to 35,527.15 tons. It is worth noting that countries' possession of the precious metal increased in light of the Corona crisis, as gold is considered a safe haven and demand for it increases during crises.

According to the report, the total possessions of the metal by Arab countries amounted to about 1,382 tons, which is equivalent to more than 44.4 million ounces (an ounce as a unit of measurement for precious metals = 31,103 grams).

The following is a graph showing what the Arab countries own of the precious metal, according to the data of the World Gold Council: (unable to translate this list).
