These are the articles I discussed on the My FX Buddies Podcast:

Videos and photos.. The massive protests rejecting the election results
The demonstrators called their protest today, Friday, "Friday of steadfastness," amid chants and chants denouncing the results.
The protesters continued to demand that the election results be recounted manually and comprehensively.
Behind the scenes on Thursday: Al-Sadr renews to Al-Kazemi
link I'd like this to be directly from Sadr but I'll take it for now...
A source, a former deputy close to the leader of the Sadrist movement Muqtada al-Sadr and the leadership of his movement, preferring not to be named, revealed that al-Sadr spoke to all the participants in the meeting from the leaders of the Shiite forces, saying: "Before the elections, you resigned from the majority government and rejected the consensus government." .. And when you lost, you now want a consensus .government and reject the majority government
Al-Sadr said at the meeting: "You also challenged the last elections, even though the fraud rate did not exceed 3 percent or less because you lost, but you did not challenge the results of the 2018 elections, even though the ".fraud rate was 70 percent because you won
Al-Sadr indicated that "there are those who won 20 seats in the 2018 elections and won 35 seats in the current elections, despite that claiming fraud now... and there are those who won 20 seats in the 2018 elections and won ".two seats in the last elections, and also allege fraud
Al-Sadr stressed, directing his words to the attendees, according to the source’s words to Elaph: “We will support Al-Kazemi’s survival for another term, and if we are forced to nominate another figure, we will not accept your ”.rejection of him, and our condition is that you agree to it regardless of who he is
Al-Sadr also said: "If matters reach a dead end, there will be a final solution.. We nominate a personality and you .nominate a personality, and the facilitator is for whoever gets the highest votes in Parliament
The source indicated that the interventions of other leaders dealt with the necessity of forming a consensus government as has been in place since the fall of the previous regime in 2003 and working to preserve the Shiite position and its unity regarding the Iraqi situation, noting that the atmosphere of the meeting was tense and .unfriendly
The Hashtag #Shia_home_the_largest_bloc Dominates The Iraq Trend After The Coordination Framework Meeting
The hashtag #Shia_home_the_largest_block topped the Twitter platform after the coordination framework meeting in the presence of Al-Sadr at Al-Amiri's house.
The meeting was attended by the leader of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, the Secretary-General of the Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq movement Sheikh Qais Khazali, the head of the National Contract Alliance, Faleh al-Fayyad, the head of the Victory Alliance Haider al-Abadi, the leader of the Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, and the head of the National Path bloc.
A source from within the meeting said that it was agreed to form joint committees between the framework forces and the Sadrist bloc to manage future dialogues, noting that “the understandings that took place came to end the stalemate and doubt that the meeting that was called a few days ago by the leaders in the coordinating framework could not be held.” .
Tweeters mentioned that the enemies of the Shiites who bet on a Shiite Shiite war were all upset about the meeting of the parties of the Shiite house, because the goal of their bet is to expand the area of disagreement and schism among the Shiites to strip them of their power and their right to power as a majority, and that is why their media was busy inciting a Shiite party against the other parties. #A Shiite _ house _ the largest _ bloc.
Another said, "After we give it to her
And no one dares to take it
The Shiites are the ruling majority.
While a member of the coordination framework, Kateh al-Rikabi, explained that “there is no dissonance between the forces of the framework and the Sadrist movement, and what was going on between them was a difference of views that could become understandings if everyone agreed to exchange ideas and fertilize them to come up with a Shiite formation that fits the new stage.”
And a source had confirmed during the previous hours that among the issues that were discussed and agreed upon was the non-renewal of the second term of the current presidencies of Al-Kazemi, Saleh and Al-Hbousi.
Leader In Law: We Are Going Through Worse Economic Conditions After 2003
The leader of the State of Law coalition, Raad Al-Mas, confirmed on Friday that Iraq is going through the worst economic situation after 2003.
Al-Mas said in a statement to “Information” that “objective readings of the economic scene in Iraq prove that it is the worst after 2003, especially with the high price fever that is sweeping the markets after the increase in the dollar exchange rate and the devaluation of the dinar, although oil selling prices have reached good levels in recent months.” .
Al-Mas added, “About half of the Iraqis have become below the poverty line, and this is a very dangerous matter that will lead us to labyrinths and very dire consequences if there are no effective economic solutions to the crisis file, including poverty, unemployment, and confusion in the file of economic reform, but rather its aspects.”
He pointed out, "The need for the next government's first file to be correcting the course of the economic situation and reducing the price hike file in the markets through sound decisions that contribute to helping millions of poor people."
Iraqis are suffering from a severe poverty crisis after the rise in the prices of materials in the markets, especially medicines and other foodstuffs
Poverty For Millions Of Iraqis And Oil Revenues Are Rising!
A strange strange paradox are those statistics and figures announced by the Ministry of Planning with a significant increase in the number of the poor, including those who live below the poverty line, meaning destitute and downtrodden, and billions are stolen and in front of the eyes of the four authorities. There are reasons for these paragraphs, including the high exchange rate and the danger of the Corona epidemic.
On the other hand, there is no new coverage of social care, and there are half a million people waiting for inclusion, but the former Iraqi parliament confiscated the money and went with it to merchants, businessmen, and the victim of these poor people, and they cannot face those crises that afflicted them. The government is supposed to It sets a time limit for their suffering, not procrastination, on the pretext that there is no money, and we do not know where the oil revenues go after the rise in prices and production and the many abundant profits. Iraq is one of the richest countries in the world..
Why are more than 10 million people below the poverty line and they are constantly increasing in parallel with the rise in oil prices in global markets? Millions of Iraqis still live below the poverty line, despite the enormous wealth that their country enjoys, which could make it one of the richest countries in the world. Iraq is ranked ninth in the world in natural resources, as it contains about 11% of the world's oil reserves, and 9% of phosphates, as well as other precious resources.
But most of Iraq's wealth has not been invested due to corruption, years of wars and political conflicts, amid calls to activate the exploitation of resources and revive the Iraqi economy. The expert, Hammam Al-Shamaa, said in press statements that crude oil constitutes about 90% of the revenues of the Iraqi state budget, while other imports are marginal in the form of taxes and customs revenues, and some revenues from the transport and communications sector and others, and called for activating the sectors of mineral extraction, petrochemicals and manufacturing industries. Agriculture, tourism and services.
Regarding the estimation of the wasted Iraqi wealth, he said that it is not possible to estimate the total financial value expected in the event of the exploitation of all resources, explaining - for example - that the value of 4 million barrels of crude oil is not less than 100 billion dollars, if we assume that half of this production turned into Petrochemical industries, which are worth 10 times more than crude oil, meaning an addition of half a trillion dollars, other than other resources such as sulfur, phosphate, iron and mercury.
Do you think the poverty rate will be reduced in the coming year, a new parliament and a government awaiting the provision of services and a fair distribution of wealth?

The October elections.. the winners are awaiting the approval of the results, and the jurists set the constitutional terms
The winning candidates in the early parliamentary elections, which took place on the tenth of last October, are awaiting the approval of the Federal Supreme Court on the final results after being sent by the Commission.
Legal experts summarized the constitutional periods after the approval of the final results of the elections, which includes the president’s invitation to hold the first session of the new House of Representatives headed by the eldest, and the subsequent election of a speaker and two deputies, leading to the assignment of the bloc’s most numerous candidate, to form the next government and the constitutionally specified periods to achieve that.
Legal expert Haider Al-Sufi, said in his interview with the official agency that followed him (the first news), that “the Federal Court may ratify the final results of the elections within a period of 5 days to two weeks, and then the President of the Republic, within a period not exceeding 15 days, invites the House of Representatives through a decree My Republican Party is due to convene within a period of 15 days as well.”
In turn, the legal expert, Tariq Harb, expected that the Federal Supreme Court would ratify the election results at the beginning of next week.
Harb said, in an interview with the official agency, which was followed by (Al-Oula News), that "the approval of the Federal Supreme Court comes after the authority of the current President of the Republic to invite the new House of Representatives to hold the first session within 15 days of the approval."
He added, "Within a week from the date of ratification, the winning candidates are collected in order to hold the first parliament session."
For his part, the legal expert Haider Al-Zalmi explained that “Article 93 of the Iraqi constitution for the year 2005, item VII, stipulates that there be ratification of the final results of the general elections for membership of the House of Representatives. .
Al-Zalmi added, during his interview with the official agency, which was followed by (Al-Oula News), that “the election law does not specify a period for the Federal Supreme Court to ratify the results after they are sent by the Independent High Electoral Commission to it, and therefore the period remains open and undefined by law,” pointing out that “This is a constitutional and legal defect that the legislator must address.”
He continued, "We expect that after the final results reach the Dhaliya Court, the latter will ratify them within a period of 10 days, and then send them to the High Electoral Commission to announce the final results."
He explained, "Article 54 of the Iraqi constitution for the year 2005 stipulates that the President of the Republic, by a republican decree, calls the Council of Representatives to convene within 15 days from the date of the ratification, headed by the oldest member, to elect the new Speaker of the House of Representatives and his two deputies within the constitutionally specified period, which cannot be extended."
For his part, legal expert Ali Al-Tamimi said, to the official agency I followed, that "the Federal Supreme Court, after receiving the names of the 329 winning candidates, checks the names constitutionally and legally and excludes those who do not meet the conditions."
Al-Tamimi added, “The next step is to ratify the names and send them to the commission to announce them, and then the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, will call for the first session to be held within two weeks from the date of the approval of the Federal Court in accordance with Articles 54 and 55 of the Constitution to elect the Speaker and his two deputies by direct secret ballot and by majority vote.” The absolute number of members (half of the total number plus one) and headed by the oldest member.”
He continued, "Then the elected Speaker of the House of Representatives opens the candidacy for the presidency within 3 days, and the new president of the republic is elected by a two-thirds majority of parliament members, and the majority of votes will be in a second round in case of failure in accordance with Articles 68 and 70 of the constitution."
He pointed out that "the new President of the Republic assigns the candidate of the most numerous bloc to form the Council of Ministers and the ministerial curriculum within 15 days of his election," stressing that "the Prime Minister-designate has 30 days to accomplish his mission, and when he fails, the President of the Republic assigns another candidate for the same durations according to the details of the article." 76 of the constitution.
And the Independent High Electoral Commission announced, last Wednesday, sending the names of the winning representatives to the Federal Court.
Iranian currency records a new collapse
On Saturday, the Iranian "riyal" recorded a new collapse after reports of the failure of the nuclear talks that concluded Friday, its sessions between Iran and international powers regarding reviving the nuclear agreement.
Local news websites and centers concerned with foreign exchange affairs in the Tehran Free Market reported that the riyal recorded a collapse against foreign currencies.
The exchange rate of the US dollar against the Iranian riyal amounted to 301 thousand and 700 riyals, while the exchange rate of the euro against the riyal amounted to 342 thousand and 250 riyals, and the exchange rate of the British pound reached 400 thousand and 450 thousand Iranian riyals.
The failure of the nuclear talks between Iran and the "4+1" group in Vienna, which began last Monday, amid talk of Tehran and Washington's lack of optimism about this round, affected the price of coins in Iran.
"The dollar exchange rate in the market today hit a record high in 14 months," Mohammad Kesheti Arai, deputy head of the Tehran Gold Association, told the Iranian "Tijara News" website.
However, the Iranian government-run "IRNA" news agency wrote in response to the dollar's rise that pessimism about the outcome of the talks was "a line drawn by the enemies" and called for government intervention to balance the market.
It is not yet clear to what extent the dollar exchange rate in Iran will continue to rise, but in September of last year, the price of the dollar reached its peak at 320,000 riyals, after which the Central Bank was able, by injecting a huge dollar into the market, to reduce this figure to less than 210 thousand Iranian riyals.
The seventh round of talks to revive the nuclear deal concluded in Vienna on Friday. In this round of talks, Iran presented two drafts that Western countries described as exaggerated and unacceptable.
It was not clear when the eighth round of the Vienna talks would take place, but Western diplomats said: "If Iran does not show the necessary flexibility in the talks, the talks will fail."
It is expected that the dollar exchange rate will continue to rise and the Iranian currency will depreciate, while the country's inflation rate has exceeded 50%.
Last October, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi called on the Central Bank and the Ministry of Economy to stop the growth of the exchange rate and devalue the riyal.
