Sadiqoun: Al-Halbousi Is Subject To A Political Party And Is Unable To Run Parliament

link

On Sunday, the representative of the Sadiqoun Parliamentary Bloc, Ali Turki al-Jamali, considered that Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi is unable to run Parliament.

Al-Jamali said in a statement to the "Information" agency that "there is a seizure of the parliament's administration by a well-known political party."

He added that "the Speaker of Parliament does not have any real role within the House of Representatives," noting that "another well-known party is running the rudder and imposing its sway over Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi."

He stressed that "Al-Halbousi's influence in the parliament is almost non-existent in light of the presence of a well-known party that runs the parliament."

And the former deputy, Abdul Rahman Al-Luwezi, warned earlier on Sunday that the Shiite dispute and its continuation would lead to the termination of Muhammad Al-Halbousi’s assignment to head the House of Representatives, indicating that followers of the Sadrist movement might storm Parliament at any moment and overthrow him.

Can the framework form a government? An expert clarifies

link

Today, the expert in Iraqi political affairs, Ahmed Al-Sharifi, considered AlSadr's deadline for forming a government, as it complicated the political scene, indicating that the framework will not be able to form a goverment.

Ahmed Al-Sharifi said  that "the coordinating framework will not be able to form the new Iraqi government, within the period of (40) days granted by the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr to the ".framework

He added that "the leaders of the framework know very well that the alliance of sovereignty and the Democratic Party will not ally themselves with the framework without the presence of al-Sadr," noting that "the deadline will expire and the framework will not do anything during the period, without agreement and consensus ".with al-Sadr And he indicated that "the coordinating framework is not the only one that owns the blocking third.

The Sadrist bloc and its allies also have the blocking third, and this ".scene became more complicated after al-Sadr's deadline

Economist: The Food Security Law contradicts the white paper and ends with budget legislation

The economic expert, Nabil Al-Marsawi, confirmed today, Sunday, that the draft food security law is temporary, and it expires or becomes effective as soon as a new budget law is enacted.

Al-Marsoumi told "Earth News" that "the title of the draft law includes 4 things that support food security, development, financial precaution and poverty alleviation, but all of them are not present in the body of the law or are improperly scattered, for example the law talks about paying the costs of oil production allocating 5% of the Its resources amount to 25 trillion dinars from the monthly budget surplus, which is achieved above public expenditures, to which 10 trillion dinars are added to internal and external borrowing. Justified, it is also allocating 10% of these expected financial resources to increase the debt service premiums, while the debt service premiums are within the 1-12 ratio that Iraq works in in 2022.

He added, "This law contradicts the white paper, which is considered a reform paper submitted by the government, because the white paper calls for rationalizing public spending and not increasing it. It also calls for reducing the ration card and not increasing and enhancing vocabulary. Therefore, we have previously mentioned that the white paper is just for theorizing, not for application, because Iraq's conditions are different." .

He continued, "This law was supposed to be codified and restricted only to certain directions, namely supporting the ration card, expanding the social protection network, increasing the salaries of those covered by it, and raising the level of the minimum wage for small employees and retirees, and that the government would take a set of organizational administrative measures with it, such as exempting customs imported food commodities, Exempting the production inputs that are used in the production of the local food product from customs duties, selling the dollar at an incentive or encouraging exchange rate to importers of food resources, activating consumer cooperative societies.

The rule of law talks about a "new scenario" for the election of the president of the republic and the formation of the government

link

The Parliamentary State of Law bloc, one of the coordinating framework forces, revealed on Sunday a new scenario for electing the president of the republic and forming the next government, while it indicated that the leadership of the coordinating framework is moving towards political forces to solve the crisis and get out of the political blockage.

The leader in the bloc, MP Muhammad Al-Sihoud, told Shafaq News Agency, "The session to elect the president of the republic is being held by achieving a quorum in the presence of 220 deputies, and the coordinating framework begins with moving on the political forces to hold the session in the coming days."

He added that "the framework is now seeking to form a government and the political blocs agree to elect the president of the republic according to a new scenario," noting that "the old scenario adopted by the tripartite alliance ended after they failed to hold two sessions to elect the president of the republic."

Al-Sayyud continued, "The new scenario must be the agreement of the pillars of the Shiite forces represented by the coordination framework and the Sadrist bloc to form the largest bloc, and if that does not happen, we will push for the Kurdish parties' agreement on a unified candidate for the post of President of the Republic."

And the representative of the rule of law, "we may witness in the coming days an expected meeting between the leadership of the coordination framework and the Sadrist bloc to get out of the political blockage and form the next government."

And yesterday, Saturday, an informed political source revealed to Shafaq News Agency, that a delegation from the coordination framework headed by Nuri al-Maliki started a round of talks with a group of political forces, each individually, with the aim of getting out of the political blockage in Iraq after the early legislative elections that took place in October October in the year 2021.

The source explained that the discussions include all political parties, except for the Sadrist movement, whose leader decided to suspend negotiations on forming a government within the specified time.

The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, announced last Thursday that he and the Sadrist bloc withdrew from the negotiations to elect the president of the republic and form the expected government, and gave way for the coordination framework to negotiate with the political forces in this regard and gave them 40 days.

Yesterday, Friday, the coordination framework announced its vision to address the political blockage, which is based on several foundations, the details of which will be presented in its dialogues with the political forces, while calling on all loyalists to "bear responsibility and not insist on the equation of breaking wills that would further complicate the scene in vain. And the only victim of it is the Iraqi people.

The Iraqi President, Barham Salih, expressed, during a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart, his aspiration for an "active Iranian role" in establishing stability and security in the region.

According to the Iranian Mehr Agency, Saleh made a phone call to the Iranian president and congratulated him on the advent of the month of Ramadan. Salih stressed the necessity of joint cooperation between the two countries to overcome regional challenges.

"Establishing stability and security in the region is very important, and we look forward to the Islamic Republic of Iran playing an active role in this regard," he said.

Saleh pointed out that "Tehran and Baghdad have many common views and goals at the regional and international levels, and by strengthening the level of cooperation and coordination, we can take useful and effective steps to ensure the interests of our two countries and the countries of the region."

The Iraqi president stressed the "importance of developing trade and economic relations between the two countries" and said, "The economic capabilities of the two countries can serve the interests of both countries."

For his part, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi said, "The Islamic Republic of Iran supports the unity, independence and security of Iraq and enhances its regional and international standing."

Raisi stressed that "Tehran and Baghdad have a brotherly and kinship relationship, adding that good steps have been taken to develop and deepen relations between the two countries in all fields, and that raising capabilities and developing bilateral and regional relations between Tehran and Baghdad will lead to closer relations at the international level."

The Iranian president referred to "the efforts made to bring security and peace to the region without foreign interference," adding, "The passage of time has proven the legitimacy of the statement of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution that the United States is not sympathetic to the Islamic countries in the region. Especially Iraq, it has become clear to everyone that foreigners are seeking Only for their own interests and control over them."

"Any country in the region that ignores the hegemonic goals of the United States and the Zionist entity will trample on the interests of its people and anger all Islamic countries with it," Raisi said.

Al-Amiri to the British ambassador: Foreign intelligence told us of your interference in Iraqi affairs!

The head of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Hadi al-Amiri, said on Saturday that foreign intelligence agencies had provided him with information about British interference in the Iraqi political situation.

And the media office of Al-Amiri stated in a statement that “Nass” received a copy from him, (2 April 2022), that “the head of the Al-Fateh Alliance Hadi Al-Amiri, during his reception of the British Ambassador to Iraq Mark Barison Richardson in his office in Baghdad today, Saturday, confirmed that the political process since 2003 until today. It was built on three main pillars: agreement, partnership and balance.

Al-Amiri informed - according to the statement - the British ambassador, saying: "We have information from foreign intelligence agencies confirming your continued interference in the political situation, and we believe that the stability of Iraq is the stability of the region, and everyone must address the political blockage for the sake of stability in the region."

Al-Amiri explained, "We seek a Shiite-Shiite understanding, and certainly this will lead to a Kurdish-Kurdish understanding and end the division in the Kurdish house, and the framework will not give up on forming the largest bloc that preserves the right of the Shiite component in the government and agree on the prime ministerial candidate."

For his part, British Ambassador Richardson stressed, "The United Kingdom seeks to develop bilateral relations and provide support to Iraq, but this requires finding a stable government, and this is what concerns us at the current stage," according to the statement.

Al-Amiri concluded by saying that "political instability generates security instability, and therefore I am afraid of going back to the periods that afflicted Iraq."
