After years of economic neglect, poverty for the common man and turmoil in the region, Iraq has finally reached a state of constant economic growth under the democratic leadership in the aftermath of the US invasion in 2003 and the overthrowing of Saddam Hussein’s tyrannical regime.
The following post is courtesy of fractalerts, a division of fractal SA, Switzerland, a trading alert service based on unique algorithms that intuitively predict patterns in the market. Each market forecast is systematic, unemotional and data-driven – resulting in specific entry and exit points and historically astounding gains across 34 different markets.
Iraq’s Economy is Rising
The main driving force behind Iraq’s economic growth is the wealth of natural resources reflected in a large number of oil and gas fields which are now open to international trade. Companies from around the world are investing into the development of these resources, which is reflected in the country’s ever-increasing oil exports. It seems that Iraq has completely recovered from the damage and downfall it suffered under the rule of Saddam Hussein.
An even greater exploration of Iraq’s oil reserves by international companies will lead to an even bigger tally of the country’s oil wealth, along with its already-known, vast reserves. In addition to all that wealth, Iraq seems to be blessed with geological formations that are perfectly accessible for drilling as opposed to most countries, which significantly brings down the costs of oil extraction.
The most obvious example of Iraq’s production advantages can be seen in the most recent Saudi Arabian oil production war which was designed to bankrupt the US shale-oil producers. And while oil producers in the US have been severely impacted by the overproduction “attack” from Saudi Arabia, Iraq still continues to produce and sell oil profitably.
What does this mean for the Iraqi Dinar?
The value of a nation’s economy, as well as its currency, is directly reflected in its natural resources, and Iraq’s oil reserves are big enough to drive its young democratic economy to prosperity. Given the fact that there is an insatiable need for gas and oil across the world, Iraq is can look forward to constant growth in its ever-growing role of the oil supplier to the world. Although Iraq is not there yet, it is becoming increasingly obvious that the country will take on the role of a regional and international energy super-power given its natural reserves in the near future. In fact, just recently the country’s Minister of Oil stated that Iraq will be able to produce 5 million barrels of oil a day in the second half of 2017.
With the economic boom led by Iraq’s oil industry, the national currency in the form of the Dinar will eventually rise to reflect the true value of the country’s oil wealth. The rise will most likely happen when the National Bank of Iraq lifts the artificially low value placed on the nation’s currency in 2003.
Historically, the new Iraqi Dinar reached an all-time low against USD of 1680 in January of 2004 and a record high of 1106 in December of 2015. Currently trading at 1180. USD/IQD chart from Yahoo Finance.
Additionally, current political events play a key role in predicting the future of any given currency, and the controversial “Muslim ban” instituted by Donald Trump could have had major consequences for the Iraqi economy, had it not been lifted on March 6th this year. This new order to exempt Iraq from the list of banned countries has proven to be very beneficial for the country’s currency with foreign currency investors being able to exchange Iraqi dinar at favorable rates, keeping the country a valuable asset in the foreign exchange market.
All in all, it seems that the Iraqi dinar is looking at a bright future.
In the end, it is important to note that Iraq presents a wealth of investment opportunities in many industries, with the economic rise being driven by oil and gas reserves. These opportunities will become even more apparent in the following years, as the newly-established government continues to offer new possibilities to international investors.
This is what I'm Reading Right Now:

Word on the Street Thursday 3/30/17:
TNT CONFERENCE CALL WEDNESDAY 3/29/17 DC NY CALL RECAP:
Good afternoon TNT Superfantastic Family. Today is Wednesday hump day. As the text message said to you, it is strangely quiet. We want some news. On the Iraq side, expectations of announcements at the Arab summit and Abadi did appear at the Arab Summit meetings. He did his speech, but it was nothing that we wanted to hear. We were looking to hear a rate and date and reconciliation, full liberation, and all those things. There was an expectation that was going to happen at the summit. I did have one bit of info saying it would happen right at the end of the summit or right after. Most were looking for this to happen duriing the summit, but that did not take place. The info that did take place went out today and was on TV in Iraq that Mosul was 93% liberated, and ISIS was still holding on to 7% according to the reports from the news and media outlets. There was some delay and denial of a pause. US banking side, they are ready as ever and waiting. Some thought by now that they would have already been processing some of us if not all of us. So that is still expected to take place any time status as far as the banking community is concerned. They are looking to do this rather quickly. Thought it would be wrapped up in the first phase of it. That is it as far as intel, and lets see what some members had to say. Q & A: Q: Bita since we are at the end of the ride heard 800 numbers would be given out? Ray: I have not received any official info on how that will unfold. Q: I thought Iraq could be stalling bases on missed deadlines, blackouts and more? What are your thoughts. Ray: The country doesn't want us to know yet and that is why they are having black outs. Q: Way back when I read Maliki and ISIS had huge amounts of dinar would that have anything to do with the RV? Ray: No. assets were frozen and members or parliament Q: Sun Star: From you banking contacts can you confirm of any rates were visible? Ray: Either they could not see anything or just could just see rates. Q: Deployment of American troops have anything to do with Monetary Reform? Ray: I don't know what there reason is. Q: Do we have an expectation between today and Friday regarding the RV? Ray: it is more quiet than I anticipated today. I don't know where we are as far as a target schedule, and I am still expecting it. Q: Have you heard of a contract Ray for the ZIM? Ray: I have not heard of one. Q: Does article 50 in Britain need to be done for the RV? Ray: If it is done and there is no RV, then it must not be a factor. Callers: 865: Is this the quiet or the lull before the storm. Ray: When I say quiet there is not important info coming out. There is no info sending us to the bank, and the barage of stuff is not saying that yet. Sadr was saying he had death threats and turning the reigns over to new folks. Is there any relevance to this? Ray: I don't know if that pushed the process along or was it just there in the way. Time will tell. I have not received info that it made a difference, since it is all still staus quo. Would like a second TNT update. Ray: You may just get that, since I am awaiting on some more information. Caller: What is the first phase you were talking about? Ray: I really don't know, but some banking people are expecting to be exchanging some people. Some phase is trying to be executed verses the bottom falling out. People have been very quiet. We have always heard groups would go first, but don't know what phase or where we are with that. I don't know the timeline and just waiting to get information. Caller: What is you guess of when we may see this? Ray: Anytime. C. Ray: You have to determine your future and what plans do you have? What are you going to do with it? With all the hours put in and sharing all the info over and over, the reality is some of you still still don't get it, some will and some won't, however we still move forward . Get in where you fit in folks. Caller: If something happens what will your tweet say? Ray: Basically get on the call and tell you 800 #s such in such and whatever info we have. Caller: What rate do we expect on the Zimbabwe? Ray:10 cents to 3 digits drop 6 zeros. Caller: Has any bank said anything about things that haven't been done? Ray: I don't think that is an issue and all bankers are just waiting for the release and ready, willing and able. Ray Wrap Up. Ray: We have run out of time. We are good right now. Lets see what happens guys. Hang in there. We are all ready for this thing to end. We are just waiting for the release of the final information, and if going to get 800 numbers do what the instructions say, and if there are no 800 numbers, we already have 46 places to start. We are just waiting for the rate to change. Lets see what happens in the next 24-48 hours. Keep Believing, since I sure do! I Believe it's already done! That ladies and gentlemen is a wrap and enjoy your Wednesday! Rayren98

March 29, 2017: The text of the speech of the Prime Minister Dr. Haider Abadi at the 28th Arab Summit held in the Dead Sea region of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan:
In the name of of Allah the Merciful (And hold the rope of Allah and not dispersed) His Majesty King Abdullah II, King of Jordan and Chairman of the 28th Arab Summit, Secretary-General of the Arab League, Excellencies and Highnesses, Your Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen,
The importance of this conference comes from the seriousness and sensitivity of the current circumstances facing our countries and the existential terrorist challenges that require us to cooperate and agree on clear mechanisms to confront them and to stop their dangerous repercussions on the future and unity of our countries, security and political and economic stability and communal coexistence in our region. Our peoples look forward to us today, and we all have to take the responsibility and take the necessary decisions to end the suffering of our peoples living in conflict, war, displacement, poverty and hunger. We affirm what we have said that terrorism does not exclude any state and therefore we must cooperate and make every effort to preserve the unity of our countries and peoples from disintegration and loss, and to prevent external interference in internal affairs. We believe that security is one and indivisible, that no safe country can live on its own, and that we are happy to liberate our land and to expel an oppressor who can only be defeated by defeating terrorism in every Arab country facing this danger. It is the League of Arab States that brings us together with its charters, including the principle of preserving and maintaining the independence of our countries and non-interference in their affairs, as well as seeking closer cooperation between our countries in the political and socio-economic fields. It is necessary to stand here in the importance of strengthening the status of the Arab League to the Arab citizen, who looks forward to serious decisions that take effect and affirm the credibility of joint Arab action, and help to get the Arab citizen out of the state of frustration that required him. We must strengthen trust between the citizen and the Arab League institution and be at the level of his aspirations and aspirations. We call for achieving stability as a strategic goal and ending the differences and side conflicts and thinking about the millions of innocent citizens who are displaced, migrants and displaced persons from various Arab countries who die from the inferno of internal fighting and focus on what serves our present and paints a bright future for our peoples and allows them to live in peace and love. Their homes and opens the doors of hope for a better tomorrow. The wealth of our nation must be directed to building and reconstruction and the use of advanced technology and work to build a network of economic and trade relations and raise the standard of living and improve health services, educational and environmental and to eradicate poverty, hunger and underdevelopment. The youth sector represents the most important wealth in the productive and effective human resources in our Arab societies, and we must pay attention to their problems and work hard to launch effective Arab projects to develop their abilities and benefit from their energies in all fields and work to provide jobs that prevent and protect young people from being drawn into extremism of all kinds . The position of Iraq, which is a founding state of the Arab League, is clear to the constants and major issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian issue. We believe that terrorism, extremism and preoccupation with internal conflicts have led to diverting things from their proper course, wasting efforts and sacrificing priorities. I also call for a united Arab position on any violation of the national sovereignty of Iraq or any Arab country, and not to allow it to be considered a red line in our relations with States. Our relations with all countries should be based on trust, non-interference, respect for sovereignty. Dear brothers : Iraq is a united country more than ever before. Without this unity and cohesion, we would not have been able to liberate our lands and inflict the greatest defeat on a gang that would support the criminal. Our army is welcome and comforted by the presence of all our people in all the provinces and the spare fighters are saving their lives from civilians. The territory of his territory under the control of a preacher, has been liberated and won, and we have delivered to our people what we pledged to liberate the entire cities and territories of the preacher. All Iraqis participate in these victories, and from different religions, nationalities and sects stand together in the battle to defend their homeland. This defense is supported by religious authorities and religious scholars of all denominations. That the Mujahedeen carried out a major deception when falsely and falsely claimed to defend the Sunnis but in fact killed Shiites, Sunnis, Christians, Yazidis, Arabs, Kurds and Turkmens, and its crimes included the entire Iraqi spectrum and the destruction of monuments, mosques and churches. This is a subversive project to dismantle our countries and societies first and to increase the culture of hatred for Arabs and Muslims in other countries of the world. We must pay attention to this plan, which is being implemented on the ground and to confront it with all force.
Iraq is for all Iraqis without distinction and we are a state that respects religious, national, religious and ideological diversity. We have constitutional institutions that protect this diversity and defend the rights of all Iraqis according to the principle of justice and equal rights and duties. We have paid a heavy price for sectarian hatred and incitement. We demand that our Arab brethren help us eliminate the discourse of discrimination and hatred, and that speech and media support the unity of our peoples and not cause death and destruction. We face terrorism that targets civilians with booby-trapped cars, suicide bombers, organized crime gangs that break the law, face administrative and financial corruption, and differentiate terrorism, corruption and organized crime. Some complement one another, all of which represent a common enemy and challenge. We are working to extend the rule of law throughout Iraq and to hold arms with the state and eliminate all armed manifestations. In spite of all the difficult challenges and financial crisis we faced as a result of the decline in world oil prices, we continued the liberalization and arming of our forces as we continued to implement our comprehensive reform program in its political, economic and societal aspects, which is no less difficult than the other challenges, but we have taken important steps and we are determined to implement it Challenges. With the help of the international community, we have begun implementing the program to restore the displaced people to their liberated cities and put in place an integrated program to restore stability and services to them. We call on all Arab countries to participate in the reconstruction and stability efforts in these cities. Iraq is on the verge of a new phase after the elimination of the expulsion and expulsion outside our borders, a stage not only Iraq, but includes all the Arab countries, which must cooperate and unite their efforts and exchange intelligence to prevent the return of the call or spread to other countries. I salute the Iraqi forces of all kinds, formations and names that continue to advance in Mosul. I salute the precious sacrifices made by the courageous Iraqi people. I salute the Peshmerga, the popular crowd, the volunteers, the local fighters and the tribesmen, and salute the lives of martyrs and wounded and their honorable families. We look forward to a new era of peace, stability, secure coexistence and economic prosperity for all our nations and peoples and close cooperation in all fields.

Pictures .. Sleeping at the Arab Summit
AMMAN, March 30 (Reuters) - Media cameras took pictures of Arab leaders and leaders in deep sleep during the opening session of the Arab summit, which ended in Amman on Wednesday.
This is not the first time that the cameras have taken pictures of this kind. Arab peoples have used similar footage with different personalities in previous summits.
The cameras showed the Emir of Kuwait, the Djiboutian president and the Yemeni president covering themselves in deep sleep and showing signs of fatigue.
Activists said that sleep at the Arab summit reflects the reality of the Arabs' hibernation despite the challenges facing the region.
Others defended the sleeping leaders by saying that the aging, the great effort and the long hours of seats until the words of all kings and presidents, as well as long speeches by the Secretary-General of the Arab League, the UN Secretary-General and the representative of the European Union were realistic reasons for the sleep of these leaders and others who were not picked up by media lenses . Iraq’s Economy is Rising
What does this mean for the Iraqi Dinar?
This is what I'm Reading Right Now:
Rayren98

Peace, mercy and blessings of God
