aljournal May 29, 2018
Baghdad - Razak al-Yasiri
More than a hundred deputies filed a complaint with the United Nations on the violations and manipulation and counterfeiting that accompanied the results of the parliamentary elections in the fourth session held on May 12, until the leaks began serious concern to the United Nations, which has already warned against fraud in the results The elections, which have been fixed, will generate an illegitimate government, according to parliamentarians.
After the failure of the House of Representatives to achieve its legal status to hold its extraordinary to get out on decisions on fraud in the election results, according to the evidence reached by the committees of the government and parliament, submitted nearly 100 parliamentarians complaint to the United Nations Assembly on these violations, as made by the MP from a coalition of state law, Nahla Hababi.
"Nearly 100 deputies in parliament signed a complaint to the UN Special Representative in Iraq, as well as to the UN General Assembly at its Geneva headquarters, regarding the fact that the legislative elections were subject to fraud and fraud in those," al-Hibabi said in an interview with the Journal. Which took place outside Iraq and within it led to the injustice of many candidates who were eligible to win by virtue of their broad popular base, "noting that" the complaint was made after the failure of parliament to hold its extraordinary. "
"There is no doubt that the United Nations held a meeting to discuss the Iraqi elections and come up with recommendations that may end the conflicts between the candidates and the Commission and other government bodies," adding Habibi, "pointing out that" the objection of a number of deputies on the election results may be appropriate to the position of the United Nations on Iraq, The complaint submitted and the hearing ".
And the reason for raising the complaint pointed out that al-Habibi that "the losers have not received the permission of the ears of the competent authorities in Iraq to consider the evidence they have to prove the occurrence of fraud in the elections, surprised by the claims to the Federal Court to ratify the names of the winners of the elections in light of evidence to prove penetration and fraud" , Stressing "the need to address the problems in the process of voting and then go to confirm the names of winners."
"There are serious doubts raised by the Iraqi street towards the new government if the results of the final elections remained the same, because these results will produce an illegitimate government as a result of exposure to fraud and pressure by certain parties in favor of political and financial gains."
In the context demanded the head of the Turkmen Front, Arshad Salhi, the government committee charged with investigating the electoral violations to speed up the presentation of its final report and ratification before the approval of the Electoral Commission on the results.
Salhi said in a press statement that "the ministerial committee, which was formed by order of the Prime Minister to investigate the results of the elections in front of them only 7 days to complete its work," pointing out that "the Board of Commissioners committed mistakes and fraud and there is pressure exerted by the Commission to prevent and uncover the facts."
He called on the government committee charged with investigating the election violations to "speed up the presentation of its final report and ratify it before the approval of the Electoral Commission on the results," stressing that "the investigation will not meet the purpose if the delayed ratification of the results of the investigation after the approval of the Electoral Commission."
He pointed out that "the national intelligence and security services have verified the existence of piracy and the sale and purchase of votes of voters, and this is confirmed by the representative of the government within the House of Representatives," adding that "the ratification of the current results may lead to a real disaster leads the country to the unknown.
The Supreme Judicial Council (HEC) addressed the IHEC in an official letter stating that complaints submitted by objectors to the election results must be accepted under the provisions of Article (8) of Law No. (11) of 2007 in order to decide on such complaints. For the victim to be challenged by the Electoral Judiciary established by the Federal Court of Cassation.

Deutsche Bank job cuts being felt from Britain to Australia
Cuts in London-based emerging markets M&A team and in corporate finance in Australia
Iraq, May 28, 2018
The impact of a pledge this week by Deutsche Bank to cut at least 7,000 jobs is already being felt from London to Sydney.
Germany’s biggest bank is cutting a team of 10 investment bankers in the British capital focused on deals in emerging markets, a person familiar with the matter said on Friday.
The team, led by 18-year Deutsche veteran Philipp von Danwitz, learnt of the cuts this week, said the person, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
In Australia, Deutsche this week laid off a handful of corporate finance specialists, including head of metals and mining Richard Gannon and head of infrastructure and utilities Andrew Martin, according to a second person.
Deutsche declined to comment.
Six hundred bankers have already been let go since Christian Sewing took over last month as Deutsche’s chief executive officer and announced a plan to scale back its global investment bank, refocusing on Europe and its home market after three consecutive years of losses.
On Thursday he said he would reduce global staff by more than 7,000, including 25 per cent of the global equities business, which has a heavy presence in London and New York.
Deutsche’s top investment banker, Garth Ritchie, told staff on Thursday that global head of equities Peter Selman would “provide more detail on the equities plan in the next few days,” according to a memo read to Reuters.
The job cuts are hitting morale. “We will know in the next week what staff will be impacted. People are on tenterhooks,” one Deutsche Bank employee in Australia said.
“I honestly think everyone sitting there thinks every job is being looked at,” the banker said.
“I don’t think any particular business is safer than others.
People just want to know what the outcome is, to be able to get on with business, particularly for those working with clients.”
Seeking to reassure
Sewing tried to reassure staff in a separate memo seen by Reuters, saying that the cuts would “create headroom for investments in other areas” and that employees should have the “courage and the confidence to emerge stronger from this difficult period”.
Deutsche is expected to shed more than 100 people in Asia, a third person with knowledge of the matter said. The cuts would involve mainly equities and fixed-income businesses, and in the first phase the bulk of the cuts is expected to cover roles that are not client facing.
The latest restructuring comes at a very bad time for Deutsche in Asia, the person said. There was some expectation that they would be able to get some big clients in the equities business as part of Chinese stocks’ inclusion in the MSCI index, the person said.
“There would definitely be some doubt in the mind of the new clients as to how focused Deutsche will be on the business, and therefore the bank’s ability to work with them for a longer period,” said the source.
Some of Deutsche’s equities business rivals in Asia including UBS, JPMorgan, and Credit Suisse are aggressively pitching to the German bank’s existing clients by talking about the restructuring, vying to take market share away from it in the region, three people familiar with the matter said.
A spokesman for Deutsche also declined to comment on expected job cuts in Asia. JPMorgan declined to comment. UBS and Credit Suisse were not immediately available for comment.d

5-28-2018 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat As part of this resulted in the IMF decided to impose a Multiple Currency Practice (MCP) monitoring on the currency for 90 days. Why did they do this? Are they concerned so much that the currency can’t hold a steady rate? No - of course not- this monitoring was imposed to intentionally hold-back any reinstatement until the FRAUD and MANIPULATION is resolved. It was their way of ensuring the plug was pulled in the RV, until at least after the elections are over and a SECURE and STABLE govt is decided upon. They will continue to hold up the RV anyway they can until they are ready to allow the CBI to do it...So the 90 day monitoring is over around mid June. [post 2 of 2]
5-28-2018 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat ...First of all when I say “RV” I am using a generic catch all term to describe any significant increase in the value worth going to the bank for exchange, and being allowed to exchange. So please don’t get caught up in the terminology so much. The dinar, we know, must first get reinstated as part of this process to even get to the any change in value. Understand? So we know that the CBI did in FACT plan an RV during this past Dec and Jan timeframe. It did NOT happen. Why? The RV did not happen because the IMF and CBI discovered massive FRAUD and MANIPULATION of the currency. This was in dealing with the currency auctions. [post 1 of 2....stay tuned]
5-28-2018 Newshound Guru Adam Montana We're currently midway through Ramadan, which typically means we expect "quiet" in the way of major news from Iraq. The bottom line is simple - it's a long holiday and they don't make major changes during a holiday that the majority of that part of the world recognizes. That doesn't mean they won't surprise us, but I think it's safe to assume we have a 2 week lull still coming. After that... game on!!!
5-28-2018 Newshound Guru Breitling …What have they [Iraq/CBI] gotten rid of so far? They’ve gotten rid of the entire 50 dinar note. And that’s why we watch the note count the way we do. It’s because they’re actually taking notes out of the market to add value to their currency. Not only that but the value of Turkey’s currency was never that great ever. With the Iraqi dinar it’s the compete opposite. It was worth $3.25 US dollars at one time. And what was the note count when it was at that value? It was at one billion physical notes. And that’s why we watch the note count the way we do. Iraq has never talked about a lop. Iraq is talking about taking physical notes out of the market and the notes that are left over absorb the value of what’s backing up that currency in the first place. It is that simple. Turkey never took any notes out of the market. Iraq is taking notes out of the market. They’ve done it two different ways and that’s what they’re doing. So that’s the difference and that’s why there is no lop… [Post 2 of 2]

5-28-2018 Newshound Guru G-Lin There was a change in rate today on the CBI site. It went to 1190 from 1184. It has been at 1184 for a while. Even though it is higher, the change is interesting because the auction rate is also 1190. They are the same for the first time I've ever noticed. Also that is about the same as the street rate. Are they getting ready to delete 0's? I have no idea but this is worth watching...
5-28-2018 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat ...remember this is being held by the old parliament not the newly elected one. So if they swear in new members than Sadr movement will have majority of seats. Technically, the Rules in the Constitution say that the next session of parliament following the elections must swear in the newly elected members. They may try to claim that this is a “special session” of the prior parliament. So can they really even have a session to do what they want to do and that is nullify the elections results? Can you see how this is NOT the place to do this but this is really the responsibility with the Judiciary. Why does the judiciary not speak up?
