These are the articles  I discussed on the My FX Buddies Podcast below:

Al-Sadr calls on "independent" MPs to form a government

link

Boundary

In his name, come, after consulting with the allies in the Greater Alliance, I say:

The current political process has three parties:

The first party: The Greater National Alliance: (The Alliance to Save the Nation), which is the sponsor of the national majority... But because of the Iraqi judiciary's decision to activate the blocking third, it delayed the formation of the majority government.

The second party: the coordinating framework calling for the consensus government.. We gave him a deadline of forty days, and he failed to form the consensus government.

The third party: Independent individuals in Parliament.. We call on them to (independent formation) of no less than forty of them, away from the coordinating framework as a whole, which took its chance.. The independents must join the larger coalition to form an independent government. We will inform them of some details later, and the larger coalition will vote on their government,  Including the Sadrist bloc and in agreement with the Sunnis and Kurds of the coalition..the movement will not have a participation in its ministers...

Provided that this should be within a maximum period of fifteen days

To expedite the end of the suffering of the people.

I also repeat my invitation to some of those whom we think well of the coordination framework

To ally with the Sadrist bloc, hoping that national interests will prevail

 Per Lot

To ally with the Sadrist bloc, hoping for them to give priority to national interests over narrow interests and to get out of the neck of coercion to blockage

The politician as they express it.. and thank you.

The United States Loses The Gas Export Lead

link

Qatar reclaimed its throne from the United States of America as the world's largest exporter of liquefied natural gas, with the end of winter, as demand for heating fuels decreased in the northern hemisphere.

And April exports of Qatari liquefied gas exceeded the level of 7.5 million metric tons, surpassing the United States, according to ship tracking numbers compiled by Bloomberg.

During the winter months, lower temperatures, coinciding with Europe's desire to reduce its dependence on energy from Russia, increased the demand for natural gas and raised the prices of this fuel.

With the end of winter, some US export ports used a period of low demand and low prices to carry out maintenance work, which led to a decline in US production. The shale gas revolution, along with billions of dollars in investments in gas liquefaction facilities, has transformed the United States from a net importer of liquefied natural gas to the largest exporter in less than ten years.

It is expected that the United States and Qatar will participate in a race between them to dominate the global market for liquefied natural gas in the future, according to Bloomberg. With the completion of the Calcasio Pass gas export terminal in Louisiana later this year, the United States is expected to achieve its peak LNG production capacity of 13.9 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day.

An informed source: Al-Sadr will launch an initiative to end the political blockage within the next 48 hours

link

A source close to the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, said that the latter will launch his initiative within two days to end the blockage in the political process and delay the formation of the government.

The source added that al-Sadr stressed today, during a meeting with members of the Sadrist bloc, the need to continue oversight and legislative work.

Before its launch, the coordination framework determines its position on the new Al-Sadr initiative

link

The leader in the coordination framework, Aid Al-Hilali, confirmed today, Wednesday, that the initiative launched by the framework was sent to all political forces, and we are waiting for a response to it, considering that Iraq's survival like this without a government with full powers is .incorrect

Al-Hilali told (Baghdad Today) that "the blocs must deal positively with the initiative, because the period that followed the elections to this day is not a short period, and accordingly, the dialogue table must be the arbiter between the parties in order for the opinions and viewpoints to be put forward between everyone in order to overcome the points of disagreement, if any." Then we will ".really go to form the next government

He added, "The statements made about the existence of an initiative that is expected to be launched by the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, are also welcome, despite our lack of knowledge of it, and the fact that there is an initiative, but any attempt to propose solutions from any party was something we welcome, because in the coordinating framework we see it necessary to go quickly to bypass

The current political crisis and the formation of a ".consensus government that meets the aspirations of the Iraqi people

In light of the blockage... Iraq is on a hot plate and warnings of an unprecedented wave of popular anger

link

Today, Wednesday, political analyst Ali Al-Baydar confirmed that Iraq has become a .hot slate, and there are signs of many crises that may afflict the country

Al-Baydar said in a statement to (Baghdad Today), "In terms of security, there are actual and worrying movements of ISIS members, and the government must deal ".with them with great caution

He added, "There are also movements by the Kurdistan Workers' Party, outlaw gangs ".and organized crime gangs

And he indicated that "the economic crisis is also ravaging the country, as the government has not taken initiatives to solve these crises, and this increases the state of anger in the Iraqi street, as it is possible that the popular reaction will be ".more violent this time than the previous ones

Economist: Al-Kazemi's Government Has Not Made A Tangible Achievement Until Now

link

The economic expert, Nabil Jabbar Al-Ali, considered, on Wednesday, that the caretaker Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, has not presented a tangible achievement until this moment that deserves praise, noting that Al-Kazemi’s coming to power due to economic conditions and low oil prices.

Al-Ali said in a statement to "Al-Maalouma", that "the economic reforms paper presented by Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, which was called the White Paper, the only thing that was implemented from it was the devaluation of the Iraqi dinar."

He added that "this paper was welcomed politically, to say the least, but its application on the ground is very limited," noting that "the caretaker government neglected most of the important sections and policies contained in the white paper."

Al-Ali pointed out that "Al-Kazemi's government adopted the policies of previous economic governments, and it may be the worst over successive governments since 2003."

Al-Mulla: Al-Kazemi was able to make the right investment in foreign policy

link

The former deputy, Haider Al-Mulla, said today, Wednesday, that the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, has made the right investment in foreign policy.

Al-Mulla wrote on Twitter, saying that "despite the Al-Kazemi government's shortcomings in some internal

files, it is credited to him to manage the regional and international conflict in a way that achieves the interests of Iraq and stability in the region."

He added, "Al-Kazemi was able to make the right investment in foreign policy.

While noting that the accident resulted in material damage to the facade of one of the buildings, he indicated that "the starting place was from the Al-Amanah neighborhood in the center of the capital."

The first comment from the independents on the coordination framework initiative

link

The independent deputy, Basem Al-Khashan, commented today, Wednesday, on the initiative of .the coordination framework to end the political blockage in the country

Al-Khashan said in a statement received by (Baghdad today), that "the initiative of the framework forces is proceeding according to what we have proposed about the independence of the ".independents to lead this stage. We believe in it And he added: "More than six months ago, I said that we are the weight of the egg, and that one of the two parties will prevail over the other, and that is why we deserve that the prime minister be one of us. The only reason for the political blockage, I wish the brothers who chose ”.neutrality to ride the chariot of change led by the independents

He continued, "The issue is not easy, and we, the independents, must form a team to begin ".negotiating the details of forming the government and what it has and what it has

Where does the excess oil price differentials go?

link

The financial advisor to the Prime Minister, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, identified, on Tuesday, two directions for disbursing the expenses obtained from the increase in oil revenues due to the increase in oil prices globally in the 2022 budget.

Saleh said in a statement to the official news agency, "The expenditures obtained from the increasing revenues from oil revenues will be spent on a budget with an expansionary pattern in two directions, and the priority will be on three areas: the poor classes, food security and income-generating investment projects."

He added, "The first trend goes towards strengthening operational spending towards addressing the problems of poverty and poor classes, especially by supporting social welfare programs to include in their ranks the poorest segments to be integrated into the welfare programme, in addition to expanding the ration card work program and supporting grain producers for food security purposes."

He pointed out that "the other direction will be a shift towards income-generating investment projects that operate with productivity packages within strong investment payments."

He continued, "This will be evident in the budget law for the year 2022, and the preparation of the 2023 budget, in order to maintain economic growth that exceeds population growth and enhances job opportunities and prosperity in the national economy."

Oil rises 1% as US crude stocks decline

link

Oil prices rose in early Asian trading on Wednesday, after industrial data showed a decline in US crude and fuel stocks, which raised concerns about supplies and offset concerns about slowing demand from China, the largest importer.

Brent crude futures rose $1.09, or 1.04 percent, to $106.06 a barrel by 04:37 GMT. West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose $1.18, or 1.15%, to $103.59 a barrel.

The gains come on the back of news on Tuesday that the European Union is working to impose new sanctions on Russia for its war on Ukraine targeting Moscow's oil industry.

In the US, crude oil and fuel stocks fell last week, falling by 3.5 million barrels for the week ending April 29.

During the previous session, demand concerns caused by the prolonged COVID-19 lockdowns in China curtailed travel plans during the Labor Day holiday season, causing prices to drop more than 2%.

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies on Thursday are expected to stick to their policy of increasing monthly production again even though the group, known as OPEC+, has lower-than-expected production targets between October and March, with the exception of February.

5-3-2022   Intel Guru MarkZ   [via PDK]  …we have had 2 very solid confirmations from Tier 3 and them having received small bank wires…compared to what they are owed. Test wires. And that tells us (imo) that real money has started moving in tier 3…This is exciting. I think this is fantastic news...I have some very large folks in tier 3 that have not seen any movement yet. So I think we are in the very beginning of this. Hopefully we will get more reports of payments by tomorrow.  Maybe we will have a phenomenal update tomorrow...

5-3-2022   Newshound Guru Pimpy
Sadr gave the Coordination Framework 40 days to try to form the government.  If a new government is formed we know Sadr did not have a part in that.  It looks like Sadr's 40 days are at the end or have ended so we're about to find out what it is that Sadr had in mind.  Some type of announcement should come out.

5-3-2022   Newshound Guru Kaperoni   For the central bank to be in agreement with the World Bank and IMF to continually improve and build their banking system, compliance, etc is a good thing! It will eventually provide them with the tools and skill to engage with the global financial system...But Iraq's exchange rate will never be a random act, it'll be based on sound economic policies and the growth of Iraq's economy and private sector.    [Post 2 of 2]

5-3-2022   Newshound Guru Kaperoni  After reviewing the monetary policy of the Central Bank of Iraq has posted on the Central Bank of Iraq's website for the period 2016 to 2020 it does confirm Iraq is in development of a financial system in accordance with ISO 20022...It also states that Iraq is planning to restructure the currency taking measures to delete the three zeros and issue a new dinar (which is a LOP). This confirms what is currently being taught to citizens during symposiums.   [Post 1 of 2...stay tuned]

5-3-2022   Intel Guru MarkZ   [via PDK]   We have had a lot of news happen over the last couple of days. We have the Iraqi President screaming that they need to end all the political blockades and get this all done by May 7th. The IMF came out and said it is time for Iraq to adjust and strengthen their currency.  (ie: change the value on it)  Now let’s talk about the “Rumormill” from my contacts.   We are hearing that Tier 3 will start today...doing small transactions first on the tier 3 level to make sure everything is secure and then move forward...So, once again we appear to be sitting on the edges of our seats. We are in a fantastic position and have seen a lot of progress over the last 48 hours

5-3-2022   Intel Guru Frank26   This breaks the shackles.  This breaks the chains.  Article VIII was extremely important.  Chapter VII was extremely important.  But this is busting the door wide open...The ISO has been around since 2013/14 but it just now being given to Iraq/CBI.  What caused it to be given to them?  An Addendum...to slowly remove the Swift system...this is major.  This is huge...This is a request from the IMF for the dinar to be asset backed...it allows the IQD via the ISO compliance to be international...the ISO is simply a platform for the IQD to go international... [Post 2 of 2]

5-3-2022   Intel Guru Frank26  IMO it was for me to say to you something major will happen in the month of April in Iraq concerning their monetary reform.  It was called the International Standardization Organization (ISO20022) and it was announced last Thursday officially.  You need to understand this is major.  This is huge...this was signed around the 22nd of April...why would this announcement be coming just now last Thursday?  The world is 'timing'...    [Post 1 of 2...stay tuned]

5-3-2022   Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat  ...Getting a government formed sooner than later hinges on two events. One is that they do take a vote on the new president on May 7th and second then move ahead to vote on the new prime minister. Any other actions will postpone the new government from being formed maybe for months...so let’s hope on May 7th they can settle this election.

International Coalition: ISIS activity in Iraq decreased by 60%, and 11 prominent leaders were killed

The international coalition led by the United States announced that the activity of ISIS terrorist gangs in Iraq has decreased by 60%.

And the coalition said in a publication: "Since the beginning of 2022, the activity of the terrorist organization ISIS in Iraq has decreased by 60%, thanks to the operations led by the Iraqi security forces against terrorist cells."

"This year, the Iraqi security forces neutralized more than 11 prominent ISIS leaders and 60 terrorist elements in various Iraqi territories," he added.
