Daily News: The end of a "push" in Iraq is still far away
30-07-2017 01:50 PM
The Euphrates -
The US DailyBest reported that the elimination of an oppressive organization in Iraq is still out of reach. Many sites and areas are now under the control of the organization, although the Iraqi government has declared the elimination of this organization in Mosul, and its victory in the battle against it.
The areas where the organization is still holding its grip can be the most complex of areas that the organization has already controlled and fought major battles to defend it like Falluja and Tikrit. The rivalry between Iran and Turkey in Iraq could complicate the battles against the organization in the remaining areas under his control, and the organization is beginning to conduct guerrilla warfare in the fight against the Iraqi government, and its operations are on the outskirts of Baghdad more than before. The organization controls three important areas: Tal Afar, west of Mosul, Hawija south of Kirkuk and al-Qaim, west of Anbar. Each of these battles is fraught with challenges and political and military considerations, as well as dangerous foreign policies that play a large role in Iraq's various files. When the Iraqi army began its battle to regain the northern city of Mosul, there was a well-planned plan to exclude Shiite militias from that military campaign. Mosul was a Sunni-majority city, and there were fears of involving the militias because of the problems they might cause to the local population. However, these militias began to move towards Tal Afar, and there were several battles on the outskirts of the city, at a time when it had warned Ankara to allow those militias to participate in the battle of Tal Afar, the majority Turkmen. Turkey has troops stationed near Baishika, and has already trained Iraqi Sunni militias, which makes the possibility of Turkey's refusal to enter the militias in the battle of Tal Afar come. On July 19, leaders of the Popular Popular Army and factions gathered to discuss the battle of Tal Afar, despite the Iraqi government's refusal to participate in the battle of Tal Afar. The Iraqi government is well aware that there is a great contradiction in the positions of Turkey and Iran in the Battle of Tal Afar, and therefore it does not want the militias to enter the battle. Kurdish politician Mahmoud Othman said the battle of Tal Afar would be difficult because it is a political battle, not a military one, and everyone should focus on the common enemy. Hawija, south of Kirkuk, which is controlled by an organization is not less sensitive than the battle of Tal Afar, the city is living in the Arab-Kurdish conflict, being located within the disputed city of Kirkuk between the government of Baghdad and the government of Arbil in northern Iraq. After the expulsion of al-Qaeda fighters from Mosul, the threat of forming mobile insurgent groups was becoming increasingly dangerous. Al-Qaeda was expected to have established cells and sites within the large desert in Iraq. Integriy reveals manipulation in the receipts collection of the Office of the Council of Basra in the port of Umm Qasr

A statement by the Integrity Agency posted on its website said that the Directorate had revealed that it had carried out a seizure under a judicial warrant at the northern port of Umm Qasr. During this period, 3 suspects were seized based on the provisions of Article 315 of the Penal Code because there were cases of manipulation of access and a decrease in the amount of money collected from Before the office of collection of the Council of the province, despite the cut off receipts and receipt of the amounts, where the Basra Provincial Council impose a charge of 1% of the value of goods entering through the port of Umm Qasr North without legal support. The Directorate confirmed that all the seizures, as well as the investigative papers, were included in the body's physical control record, which was presented to the competent investigating judge who decided to detain them pending investigation. However, he said, "If there is a defect in a particular employee, he will only bear the cost of it." He stressed that what was reported by some media was a great insult to the council's employees and a bad reputation for the performance of the council.
