Anbar provincial council on Sunday warned of plans to spread the chaos in the province after three and a half months of parliamentary elections. In an interview with Al-Arab Al-Jadid newspaper and local news agencies, member of Anbar Provincial Council Makhlaf al-Obeidi called on the Iraqi government and the House of Representatives to put an end to the presence of US forces in Iraq, especially after the end of the war.
Al-Obeidi said that what happened recently in the area of al-Baghdadi 'a crime should not go unpunished for those who cause it.'
Al-Obeidi asked why a US force was involved in a security operation to arrest one person, pointing out the possibility of a plot to spread chaos in Anbar province ahead of the elections.
A member of the Council of Anbar dignitaries sharply criticized the official authorities for their silence on this crime, which occurred in front of everyone's opinion.
For his part, described the leader of the Sadrist movement, Moqtada al-Sadr, the bombing of the US helicopter in the area of Baghdadi as a travel to the Iraqi government, and demanded that the aggressors be held accountable immediately.
"Once again, the American occupation proves its tyranny, its arrogance and its blatant aggression against the Iraqi government, its independence and its sovereignty, by indiscriminate and unjust bombardment of al-Baghdadi," Sadr said in a tweet in his personal account on Twitter.

Once again rumors are circulating that the Exchange/Redemption has begun in earnest. There are reports of SKR’s being given throughout the world pending release codes on accounts with administrative holds. Al-Jaafari expressed "Baghdad's aspiration to attend an active America at the donor conference to be held in Kuwait next month by urging US companies and friendly countries to come and contribute to support Iraq and rebuild the infrastructure of Iraqi cities."

Reducing the number of cigarettes threatens to cause serious diseases
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - January 28 - Smokers need to quit smoking instead of reducing the number of cigarettes they smoke, according to a recent study.

"Electronic cigarettes are less harmful, but that's when you quit completely," Arnott said.
