The Finance Committee of the Parliament revealed on Wednesday that the Financial Budget Law of 2018 limited the appointments with the approval of the Council of Ministers after it was the powers of the Minister.
The committee member MP Jabbar al-Abbadi said in an interview with local media and the agency [media treasures] that "the reason for the disruption of the adoption of the budget is to keep the proportion of Kurdistan region," pointing out that "there are parties harmony of the Kurds in disrupting the passage of the budget under various pretexts" .
He added, "We are determined to reduce the proportion of Kurdistan within the budget and as determined by the government," calling for "to stay away from the exploitation of the issue of the budget for election propaganda."
Abadi said that "the issue of appointments in the budget and within the version sent by the government, it has identified the appointment of the Council of Ministers and not the minister."
