TNT CONFERENCE CALL WEDNESDAY 1/24/18 DC NY CALL RECAP:
Ray: Good afternoon TNT Superfantastic Family. Today is Hump Day. Things are kind of quiet as far as Intel. Last minute things trickling in. The only real update is that everything is status quo.
Tony: Good morning TNT. It is a good day and looking at an email I just received and talked to some people this morning. Lower denoms, Iraq exposing lower denoms last week and they were out doing that. We know we are that close and know it is supposed to go this month. Even though they have scheduled it to go and put in a request for this to go. It is still sitting there. The main banks believe it will stilll happen this week. The rates are still the same. They put out a pay schedule today and start paying next week at what rate. Sovereign rate or next higher rate. You are looking at rates. In Iraq they will have more buying power and two years to turn in their 3 zero notes. We have been here for a while and 1.20 per note on the ZIM is what they would get in order to get 3 zero notes off the streets in Iraq for 3 years. That is their exchange in Iraq. We are just sitting around waiting and hearing everything is on schedule. Banks looking with 72 hours. It is now visible and know is clear. All we are waiting for is a release. All the technical part is done. Iraq has done all they were supposed to do. We could see it this week. Do we need Abadi to be in Iraq and Trump in the US? No. Our country will use this as a stimulus plan. All is supposed to start with February's paycheck. It was scheduled for this month. That is all I have to talk about.
Qand A:
Q: Is what Tony is talking about the buy or sell rate? Ray: We are talking about the sell rate which is the value of the currency. Q: For dinar reserves can we pay them off . Tony: If you need to go get a loan to pay it off there is more than one way to skin a cat. Q: 25 year payout? Who will pay us.Tony: It was limited to 25 years since banks didn't want contracts more than 25 years. Q: If the currencies are being in a joint account and no NDA is signed do we both have to go to the bank? Tony: No. Q: How do we get daily/weekly interest? Tony: Ask for it. Q: regarding taxes do we put 50% aside and do we need to keep dinar in a separate account. Tony: I would still do that until you see it go through. Dinar will be taxed and the rest won't and we hear it will be taxed before we get it. Q: Will you reaffirm the currencies in the first basket. Tony: Ray has the list and we will find out about the currencies in the future if you have 10 million net worth and ask the wealth manager about future opportunites. I will tell you if you put your money to work making money, it doesn't matter. Long as it makes money for you. Q: You recommended not to exchange all our currency at once. How will we know the rates. Tony: They will tell you the rates at the banks and we will give you the rates that they give us too. We already told you the range. You have to negotiate the rates. All is negotiable and the more currency you have the more negotiable it is. Q: I went to my Chase bank and asked if I could exchange a dinar note. It showed $2.40 and not $3.71 but could not be exchanged. Tony: Yes some people say rates last week. Q: Is there a cap on exchange? Tony: If a couple purchased it seperately then they can exchange to the cap on each person. There is more than one way to skin the cat. I would get a gift letter if you give it away since someone will be paying the taxes. Q: Is there expectation of the US Dollar going up. Tony: The whole GCR top coming down and the bottom coming up. Does it means USD will drop to 70%. No it does not. The dollar will drop when the yuan becomes a reserve currency. Q: Are the tax treaties applicable to more than the US and Canada, and is it for just on the Dinar or VND? Tony: Yes, this was applied to in Canada. Q: Will all WF managers be informed when we RV? Tony: There are wealth managers that are well aware of the exchange.
Callers: Caller: 404 Catnip: Appreciate all the snippets and insight. I remember years back this will be done when the banks are closed? Tony: It still makes sense to me. I used to tell you that. I haven''t been hearing that exactly. What they have done now on phone calls to be on stand by. Now there are a group of wealth mangers looking what is happening and told to be ready originally after the market closed. Anytime other than that, I would be surprised. Catnip: PM Abadi is at the Davos Forum. What is you source saying about that? Tony: They are not really paying attention to that, since it has no relationship to the currency. Trump comes in and says I am going to let it go, since I know what happened when Clinton had it. Pope Says Fake News Is Satanic, Condemns Use in Politics

Thursday, January 25, 2018
Pope Francis on Wednesday condemned fake news as satanic, saying journalists and social media users should shun and unmask manipulative “snake tactics” that foment division to serve political and economic interests.
“Fake news is a sign of intolerant and hypersensitive attitudes, and leads only to the spread of arrogance and hatred. That is the end result of untruth,” Francis said in the first document by a pope on the subject, Reuters reported.
The document was issued after months of debate on how much fake news may have influenced the 2016 US presidential campaign and the election of President Donald Trump.
“Spreading fake news can serve to advance specific goals, influence political decisions, and serve economic interests,” the pope wrote, condemning the “manipulative use of social networks” and other forms of communication.
“This false but believable news is ‘captious’, inasmuch as it grasps people’s attention by appealing to stereotypes and common social prejudices and exploiting instantaneous emotions like anxiety, contempt, anger and frustration,” Francis said.
He called for “education for truth” that would help people discern, evaluate and understand news in order to recognize the “sly and dangerous form of seduction that worms its way into the heart with false and alluring arguments”.
Francis compared the use of fake news to the Bible story of the devil, who, disguised as a serpent, persuaded Eve to eat the fruit of the forbidden tree. He said she was fed wrong information by Satan, who told her the fruit would make her and Adam as all-knowing as God

To overcome the crisis in the Kurdistan region, Israeli experts see the most important options to overcome the crisis, the most important to reach a revenue sharing agreement with the central government, to pay Baghdad salaries of civil servants in the region.
The provincial government should allow the use of oil pipelines from Kirkuk through marketing from the Iraqi oil company "Sumo," the experts added.
The government in Kurdistan managed to control Kirkuk and its oil rights, produced about 700 thousand barrels per day, and exports about 550 thousand barrels per day to Ceyhan. With the loss of Kurdistan to Kirkuk, production of about 350 thousand barrels per day, and at current oil prices, generate revenues far less than what is required of the employees of Kurdistan.
Iraq did not make a decision to exempt Jordanian products from customs duties
25-01-2018 12:58 AM
Jordan News -
According to identical sources, the Iraqi authorities have not yet implemented the decision to exempt Jordanian products from customs duties, and are still collecting these fees in varying percentages.
This comes despite a decision by the Iraqi authorities last month to exempt Jordanian products from customs duties.
The sources, who asked not to be named, said that the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply began to move quickly and addressed the Iraqi side in order to emphasize the need to comply with the application of the exemption of Jordanian products from customs duties.
The sources indicated that the Ministry of Industry is currently waiting for the response of the Iraqi authorities to the communications sent to them; the response is expected to be decisive today (Thursday), either by agreeing to apply or waive the exemption.
The sources said that the Ministry of Industry circulated lists of goods exempt from customs duties on the industrial sector after the Iraqi authorities supplied to Jordan.
For his part, said an Iraqi official source at the Iraqi embassy in Amman, "The delay in the implementation of the decision to exempt Jordanian products is due to delay in reporting to the Iraqi customs authorities of the decision, denying that there is a retreat from the decision to exempt, especially as this decision of the Iraqi Council of Ministers."
He added that the staff of the Iraqi embassy in Amman is following up with the authorities of his country to implement the decision to exempt Jordanian products and circulate to the Iraqi ports.
This comes at a time when the Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply expressed the judges last month that Iraq will begin to implement the decision to exempt 371 Jordanian goods from customs duties to enter its markets earlier this year, "which did not happen until now, as confirmed by industrialists.
Industrialists expressed their fears that the Iraqi authorities would retract their commitment to Jordan to exempt Jordanian products from customs duties imposed on all imports by 30% by the end of 2016.
The invoices for the clearance of goods exported to Iraq show that the Iraqi authorities have levied customs duties on them.
The head of the committee to follow up on export issues to Iraq, Hassan al-Smadi, said that Jordanian products exported to Iraq are still imposed customs duties by the Iraqi authorities in varying degrees.
Al-Smadi said that the products included in the decision to exempt fees, which have been announced recently, the Iraqi authorities still pay their customs duties.
He called on government agencies to communicate with the Iraqi authorities to implement the decision to exempt Jordanian products from customs duties.

He pointed out that many of the owners of Jordanian factories to export to Iraq until the implementation of the decision to exempt Jordanian products from customs duties.
He stressed that the application of the exemption of Jordanian products from Iraqi fees encourages the increase of exports and gives advantage to Jordanian products to compete within the Iraqi market.
He reiterated that Iraq is one of the most important trading partners of Jordan, the main nerve of the Jordanian industry, and enjoys the priority and priority of many Jordanian traders, importers and industrialists who prefer his market to other markets.
It is noteworthy that the Committee to follow up the export issues to Iraq was established in 2015 by the General Authority in the Chamber of Industry Oman.
The value of national exports during the first ten months of last year increased by 843.6 thousand dinars to 274.88 million dinars instead of 274.05 million dinars compared to the same period of 2016.
Jordanian exports to Iraq peaked in 2013 to reach 882 million dinars, while in 2016 they fell to 330 million dinars.
Despite the decline of Jordanian exports to Iraq, but the industrial sector maintained the export to Baghdad before the reopening of "Trebil" at the end of August, through the road through Saudi Arabia and Kuwait to Iraq or through the sea route through the port of Aqaba to the port Umm Qasr through Jebel Ali Port, despite the high shipping costs and the length of time required for the arrival of the goods.
The Iraqi government decided to reduce the tariff rates imposed on imports of goods as of the beginning of this year, with a minimum fee of 0.5% and a maximum of 30%.
The Director General of the Industry of Oman, Dr. Nael al-Husami, said that the industrial sector is still waiting for the decision to apply the exemption of Jordanian products from customs duties; there is a state of anticipation of industrialists until the implementation of the decision and benefit from it.
He called on government bodies to communicate with the Iraqi authorities in order to implement the decision and increase trade exchange between the two countries.
He said the revival of trade relations between the two countries requires that Iraqi trucks be allowed to enter Jordan for direct loading from the factory land or allow Jordanian trucks to enter Iraq loaded with goods.
He explained that allowing trucks to enter the two countries reduces shipping costs by not less than 36%, and allows the loading of larger quantities of goods, especially since the method used to ship goods to Iraq through the exchange yard caused an increase in shipping costs and damage to goods.
Davos discusses balancing the Middle East
The meeting was held on Wednesday at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, with the participation of Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash and Bahraini Foreign Minister Khalid Bin Ahmed.
Al-Jubeir said that Iran is the darkest view in the Middle East, stressing that Iran is trying to revive an empire destroyed hundreds of years ago.
Al-Jubeir said that Iran is the darkest view in the Middle East, stressing that Iran is trying to revive an empire destroyed hundreds of years ago.
"There is a loss of confidence with Iran. Iran has the people, culture and history we know. On the other hand, there is the situation since 1979," said Bahraini Foreign Minister Khalid al-Khalifa.
"Iran must change its actions and be part of the international alliance to protect the region."
Gargash said that militancy must be fought and that the countries of the region should be natural states by creating local solutions.
"We must win the war on terrorism and stop funding extremism," the UAE minister of state for foreign affairs said at a symposium run by American journalist Thomas Friedman.
Iran, Iraq Set to Jointly Develop Shared Oilfields
https://financialtribune.com/ articles/energy-economy/80689/ iran-iraq-set-to-jointly- develop-shared-oilfields
Wednesday, January 24, 2018
Iran and Iraq have reached an agreement to jointly develop two shared oilfields in the southern Khuzestan Province, according to a deputy at the National Iranian Oil Company.
We are collaborating with Iraq is some [joint] fields. An agreement has been made to integrate the development of two small oilfields in the city of Khorramshahr," Gholamreza Manouchehri, deputy for development and engineering at the NIOC, was quoted as saying by ISNA on Tuesday.
He did not disclose the name of the fields or the framework of the agreement. But the remarks echo a statement by Iraqi Oil Minister Jabar al-Luaibi in September that Baghdad would soon sign a deal with Tehran to jointly invest in two oilfields.
Integrated development of oil and gas deposits shared by two or more countries is an increasingly common practice that helps to cut back production costs and maximize output and profit.
Iran shares a spate of oil and gas reservoirs with neighboring countries, including several oil deposits with Iraq that shares over 1,400 kilometers of border with Iran to the west.
Iran also draws over 500 million cubic meters of gas per day from South Pars, a giant offshore gas deposit in the Persian Gulf that is shared with Qatar and contains ultra-light crude oil in deeper layers.
With a daily output of around 3.8 million barrels, Iran is the third-largest OPEC producer after Iraq that currently pumps close to 4.5 million barrels per day.
Holding the fourth-largest crude and second biggest gas reserves in the world, Iran has assigned a high priority to develop its shared reservoirs.
Iran hopes to sign a contract to develop its giant Azadegan Oilfield, a giant deposit of 33 billion barrels of crude that lies near the Iraq's Majnoon Oilfield in Basra.
Manouchehri said efforts are underway to launch a tender for Azadegan, which was singled out as the first development project to be tendered since Tehran lifted the veil on its new model of contracts, known as IPC, in late 2015.
Azadegan is located in the West Karoun oil block that holds around 67 billion barrels of crude.
South Pars Deal
Manouchehri said a deal with French energy company Total to develop an offshore phase of South Pars is underway, but the deal requires further considerations.
"Total has not backed out of the deal, but the NIOC has decided to look more carefully at the details of the agreement because Total is also present on the other side of the field", Manouchehri said.
Total signed a $5-billion deal in July last year to develop Phase 11 of South Pars in Collaboration with China's CNPC and Iran's state-owned Petropars.
Complicating Total's presence in Iran is the partnership of the French company with Qatar Petroleum in Al-Shaheen, the oil layer of South Pars/North Dome whereof Iran began extracting crude just a year ago.
"Negotiations on the oil layer [of South Pars] have made good progress, but there are some ambiguities because of Total's ownership" in the oil layer of the joint field, the official said.

Some Police Departments today have
received complaints by citizens being harassed by a so called IRS agent. They have asked me to send out another electronic warning to my large email data base.
Aggressive and threatening phone calls by criminals impersonating IRS agents remain a major threat to taxpayers.During filing season, the IRS generally sees a surge in scam phone calls that threaten police arrest, deportation, license revocation and other things. Taxpayers need to guard against all sorts of con games that arise at any time and pick up during tax season.
Don't be fooled by surprise phone calls by criminals impersonating IRS agents with threats or promises of a big refund if you provide them with your private information. If you're surprised to get a call from the IRS, it almost certainly isn't the real IRS. They generally initially contact taxpayers by mail.
The Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) reports they have become aware of over 10,000 victims who have collectively paid over $54 million as a result of phone scams since October 2013.
How do the scams work?
Scammers make unsolicited calls claiming to be IRS officials. They demand that the victim pay a bogus tax bill. They con the victim into sending cash, usually through a wire transfer or a prepaid debit card or gift card, like an iTunes card. They may also leave "urgent" callback requests through phone "robo-calls," or via a phishing email. Many phone scams use threats to intimidate and bully a victim into paying. They may even threaten to arrest, deport or revoke the driver's license of their victim if they don't get the money.Scammers often alter caller ID numbers to make it look like the IRS or another agency is calling. The callers use IRS employee titles and fake badge numbers to appear legitimate. They may use the victim's name, address and other personal information to make the call sound official.
Here are some things the scammers often do but the IRS will not do. Any one of these four things is a tell-tale sign of a scam.
The IRS will never:
- Call to demand immediate payment using a specific payment method such as a prepaid debit card, gift card or wire transfer. Generally, the IRS will first mail a bill to any taxpayer who owes taxes.
- Threaten to immediately bring in local police or other law-enforcement groups to have the taxpayer arrested for not paying.
- Demand that taxes be paid without giving the taxpayer the opportunity to question or appeal the amount owed.
- Ask for credit or debit card numbers over the phone.
For taxpayers who don't owe taxes or don't think they do:
- Do not give out any information. Hang up immediately.
- Contact TIGTA to report the call. Use their "IRS Impersonation Scam Reporting" web page. Alternatively, call 800-366-4484.
- Report it to the Federal Trade Commission. Use the "FTC Complaint Assistant" on FTC.gov. Please add "IRS Telephone Scam" in the notes.
For those who owe taxes or think they do:
- Call the IRS at 800-829-1040. IRS workers can help.
- Or better yet, call a tax professional.
Stay alert to scams that use the IRS as a lure. Tax scams can happen any time of year, not just at tax time.

1-25-2018 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat ...update to a recent conversation with my contact in the Central Bank. Folks it does not get any better than this to confirm what I (and others) have been saying about a very good timeframe for the month of January to see this revaluation to occur. Q: In past news articles we read that some of the categories of the lower notes have been distributed to the banks within Iraq. Is this true? A: Yes, but not all the branches. ...This effort was a year long effort and is now completed. Q: When do you plan to turn on the ATMs with these new categories? A: These new notes will be loaded into the ATMs and the bank windows soon if not already at some banks. I can tell you this timing is on conjunction with paying the govt payouts (salaries, pensions, etc.) for the month of January. [post 1 of 3....stay tuned]

1-24-2018 Intel Guru Frank26 [During the 72 -78 days, will the value stay at 1:1 or will it still be moved up in controlled steps before the free float?] STAY AT 1 TO 1 TO DRAW IN 000'S. IMO ABOUT 72 TO 78 DAYS POST RI THEY WILL ALLOW THE FLOAT TO BE FREE.
1-24-2018 Newshound Guru Adam Montana Dinar is in a good spot. ALL of the points I hit in my last 3 updates are still moving forward, and FINALLY I get to say something I rarely get to say: Not only are the things I mentioned in my last 3 weekly updates moving forward... they are moving forward with NO snags that I can see. ZERO. NONE. There's a VERY good chance that we're going to scoot on into February with solid ground under us, we should see a successful re-election of my man Abadi, and HCL simply can't be avoided forever. At SOME POINT they are going to be ready to pull the trigger on this damn thing, and the "perfect scenario" is so close we can almost TOUCH it. Hang in there, friends! We made it this far, there's no reason to jump ship now. [reference Guru Adam Montana's post between January 3rd and January 10th 2018.
1-24-2018 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Quote: "Foreign exchange markets in Baghdad, on Wednesday morning, a decline in the dollar exchange rate against the Iraqi dinar. ...The selling price of the dollar is 1245 dinars, or 124 thousand and 500 dinars, for one hundred dollars." Spread has dropped to 1245.
1-24-2018 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat Now if we go to more recent announcements from the CBI they have told us they want to bring back the value of the dinar to this time period. Do you wonder why this Basra branch is highlighting this older note? The CBI is simply proud of what they are doing with the currency as they are showcasing their efforts for the citizens to see and read when they walk into the Basra bank. But this showcasing effort does not stop at the Basra branch. This is happening all over Iraq in all the banks. ...this is part of the education process. [post 2 of 2]
1-24-2018 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat So this week much hype about a news article with the CBI governor at a Central bank branch in Basra. Pictures were included... I want to bring to your attention one picture in particular. This picture is of Alaq holding up a very large note. Many started to spread rumors that his was of the new one dinar note. This simply is not true. This is instead a 1947 era note from the past...in 1947 timeframe the Iraqi dinar was valued at $4.86 (USD)... [post 1 of 2....stay tuned]
1-24-2018 Intel Guru Bruce There are some new Iraqi bonds that will be offered for sale to the Iraqi citizenry at 8:30 in the morning Baghdad time tomorrow [Wednesday]. That is half past midnight tonight EST. What is significant about that? To have a bond that is to be available or open for purchase tomorrow for Iraqi citizens you have to have a rate tied to it. Those same bonds are being traded tonight [Tuesday]. We have people doing that. There is a rate tied to those bonds already. That is amazing. That is another good indicator. That would be essentially another in-country rate, and higher than it was yesterday. It is indicating that things are happening there that we are very close. We don’t know the when, the day or hour exactly, but we have heard bankers talk about this week and we have heard others talk about before the end of the month. I think we are in a good place to get started. [post 2 of 2]
1-24-2018 Intel Guru Bruce When are they going to show publicly the value of their dinar either on their website or some other way? CBI site is probably where people would think it would have to be or just plain out and be on the Forex. I don’t think the Forex will come out until the public at large, not just us, is ready to begin exchanging. What is showing on the new Qi cards in Iraq, these are for Iraqi citizens or dual citizens if you happen to be one, there is an in-country Iraqi dinar rate already on that card as of yesterday [Monday]. We saw it...It is over $4 and it is a good rate for in-country Iraq. There is also the Iraqi dinar and the other currencies...on back screens at the bank, not the front teller screens but back screens. All the currencies were live yesterday [Monday] and showing real rates. Not tiny little rates, but real rates. I think that is a good indicator. [post 1 of 2....stay tuned]
1-24-2018 Newshound Guru G-Lin Article quote: "Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi has announced his intention to pursue the corrupt in the country after the expulsion of an organization calling for the end of last year, but the campaign is facing severe criticism." This pretty much tells us what we expected. Protection of the corruption for the wicked. And it seems Abadi is outnumbered. Time will time. This is NOT an example of a Democracy. I have been watching this develop ever since they amended the Amnesty Law. It doesn't surprise me. However, regardless of the political developments we still continue to see economic reform.

For sale .. novel "romantic" written by Saddam Hussein
The Amazon Web site offers a romance novel written by former regime chief Zubeiba and the king. The Metro site pointed out that this romantic novel was written by Saddam in 2000, 18 years ago, where the site of "Amazon" English version of the novel entitled "Zubaybeh and the King," is among four other accounts attributed to Saddam.
The 160-page novel tells the story of an unreal love story that took place thousands of years ago between an Iraqi king, who symbolizes Saddam himself, and a village called Zubeiba, and during her night visits to the King's Palace she talks to him for hours about religion, love, nationalism and the will of the people. 1)
>>>>>
Plot summary
The plot is a love story about a powerful ruler of medieval Iraq and a beautiful commoner girl named Zabibah. Zabibah's husband is a cruel and unloving man who rapes her. The book is set in 7th or 8th century Tikrit, Hussein's home town. Although the book is on the surface a romance novel, it is (and was intended to be read as) an allegory. The hero is Hussein and Zabibah represents the Iraqi people. The vicious husband is the United States and his rape of Zabibah represents the U.S. invasion of Iraq at the end of the Gulf War, as illustrated by the date of the rape being January 17--the same date that U.S.-led forces commenced the 1991 offensive that drove Iraq out of Kuwait.[2] In the novel, the king dies after capturing the rapists and avenging the honor of Zabibah.[2]
Distribution
The book was a best-seller in Iraq when it was originally published for 1,500 dinars (about US$0.50). It is estimated that over one million copies were sold.[3] Royalties, according to the back cover, were to go to "the poor, the orphans, the miserable, the needy, and [other] charities".[1]

China succeeds in cloning the first monkey in the world
2018/1/25 12:40
[Where - Continue]
Chinese researchers have for the first time cloned two macaque monkeys in the same way that Dolly's sheep were reproduced.
The first cloned monkey was named Chung Chunae and was born eight weeks ago, while the second cloned monkey was named Hua Hua and was born 6 weeks ago.
The scientists said the cloning was done by implanting DNA into a cell after modifying its genetic genes so as not to stop embryonic growth.
Scientists said the genomes of all monkeys were similar, which would be useful in research on human diseases, but critics say it raises ethical concerns, making the world closer to human cloning.
Chitag Sun, of the Chinese Academy of Neuroscience, said monkey cloning would be useful as a model for studying the genetic diseases of humans, including cancer and immune disorders.
According to Chinese researchers, the two monkeys are fed by a bottle of breast feeding, and their growth is normal. They said they expected to clone more macaque monkeys in the coming months.
"The technology used to clone Chong Chung and Hua Hwa is still ineffective and dangerous," said Robin Lovel-Badge, a professor at the Francis Creek Institute in London.
"This research is not a starting point for finding ways to clone people," he said. "This step will be useful for the study of human diseases, but it raises ethical concerns," said Darren Griffin, a professor at Kent University.
Dolly, who has been in the Roslyn Institute in Edinburgh for the past 20 years, was the first time in history that scientists had succeeded in cloning a mammal.
"We tried several ways to clone monkeys, but one way worked," said Dr. Sun, the research supervisor. "There were a lot of failures before the cloning succeeded.
The scientists confirmed that they followed strict international guidelines for animal research.
