Word on the Street Thursday 1/11/18:
TNT CONFERENCE CALL WEDNESDAY 1/10/18 DC NY CALL RECAP:
Good afternoon TNT Superfantastic Family. Today is Hump Day. You know we had so much non new intel to share. Everything is status quo and the same as on Monday basically info wise. I think the only change is some banks that were communicating to members and one or 2 of us of a 24 hour window and things should start popping. Of course that communication came out yesterday and very much expecting to be doing something sometime today. Basically their expectations were on yesterday. Now we are awaiting new info today, and no need to delay the call. The expectations from the banking community, they had a meeting on Monday and now all hush hush. We have had members bank contacts say yes we are awaiting 800 numbers, and more people are expecting it and are aware of something that is yet today. Just don't know the final day and the last that we heard the plan had not changed and for the exchange activity to begin prior to the forex release, and that expected forex release is somewhere around the 15th give or take a day. That was the last plan of expectation that we were given, and the only info that we have to go on. As we progress from Monday to Tuesday sounded like that plan was formulating. Now going into Tuesday, we await further update and where we are with that plan and progress status of where do we go. You need to make sure it is time to go and why are you going. The banks from now to the close of business say come on, and we are exchanging. The rate is where we want it to be, and the rate is $3 $4 $5 whatever the case may be, and we still have to answer why are we going especially in the wake of new strategic info that we were sharing not only the expectation of the Dinar riding the wave so to speak on Forex. Now we learned other currencies could do the same thing. Now we have a series of currencies and entertain the idea of it we can exchange this week why would we do that knowing its going to be played with on the market next week where the rates could go higher. Information came to us is they expanded on the number of currencies that could have a nice upswing when they are released on Forex. With that knowledge why go to $4 when next week, the market could take it to $8. Make sure you address your why when you make a move. If there is window or opportunity to proceed and heading to the bank make sure you are addressing the why. Get the most out of this experience. That is it for the Intel. Q and AQ: Have any of your US bankers addressed the issue with verification? Ray: 20 minute appointment is all you need and every bank has a money counting maching. Verifying if the currencies are legitimate is another case. It will only take a minute to count 40 notes. All could be done in a 20 minute appointment. This is all for the average situation. Q: How do you see the exchange and GCR affecting the USD? Ray: I will pass and I don't see a change that I can speak on. Q: Are they planning to bring back the ZIM notes that we are holding? Ray: I have not heard that yet or any plans to bring them back into circulation as of yet and no timeframe to redeem exchange on the ZIM notes you are holding. Q: I was thinking of taking notes to multiple banks. Ray: I would rather take all notes and exchange at one bank and divide the money amongst 5 banks. Q: Today is the 10th has the planned changed to exchange, and what date do they want us to be exchanged by? Ray: So far the plan is the same. Q: When Tony mentioned that 40% of the contract rates had been used did he mean 60% were paid to the people or that had been allocated to groups and paymasters? Ray: Hmm I need to check with him on that. Q: If 6 million people hold an average of 100,000 Dinar and Iraq revalues at $3.00 per dinar, thats 1.8 trillion USD knowing some of that will be paid in oil credits, can they really support that much of a payout? Ray: Lets just wait and see,.and whatever it is will be more than you paid for it. Q: Will municipal bonds be tax free? Ray: Yes, since they are a tax free program for any entity. Q: If rate changes on Forex on the 15th does that automatically force the banks to change their rates? Ray: The bank is not changing their rates and going by what they see in the system. Q: Any reason they choose the 15th to change their rates? Ray: No idea. Q: Is it possible for them to decide to wait to the 15th or 22nd? Ray: Yes that is very possible. Q: It was mentioned the ZIM would be a bond and paid out on 25 year period. Ray: I have no idea until we have more info. Q: As with the revalue of Kuwait currency years ago and recently with the Swiss Franc both of these revalued on their own. why does the dong and other currencies have to wait till Iraq revalues. Ray: That has been my questions for 2 years now. Q: ZIM is confusing when I walk into the bank with a ZIM note, what do I walk out with? Ray: The last rate that was given .00012 and we were told it was a float rate of .00010 to .00022. If we go .00012 rate and holds true a 100 trillion note should be 120 million USD coming out. Q: If we don't go for the contract rate on the Zim could we still exchange later? Ray: Yes Q: Have prices changed in Iraq on goods? Ray: We have not heard anything yet on that. I will make inquiry on that. Q: Any update with UST on the dinar? Ray: Nothing that I can share. Q: Any IMF rules restrict a foreign currency from moving up and down less than 2 % in a timeframe. Ray: No, I am not aware of any of that with the IMF. Q: How can ZIM go on Forex when it is not in use? Ray: We will see and how we can benefit is the important thing. CallersCaller: 865 Catnip: I appreciate all the updates and reminders of strategies. What are you hearing from your sources that dinar is no longer being sold to currency dealers? Have they even addressed that or consider it important at all. Ray: I have not even heard that. Caller: 512 I have questions about the Dong. Will it float after going on Forex? Ray: I am not expecting that on the Dong. Q: I heard it will come out at $2.00 Ray: We don't know that remains to be seen, and there have been some hints. We have heard .47 cents. Caller: Is there a contract Rate? Ray: Some people have quoted contract rates over the years on the Dong. Caller: Are all the banks you have going to exchange all of the currencies? Ray: I don't know about the ZIM. The list was based on the Iraq Dinar. We were told there Wells Fargo is still the lead bank for the ZIM but not the only bank. Ray: For the ZIM Holders are you prepared and info we were given about the ZIM and told you from the beginning that they would do something with the 100 and 50 trillion and take 6 zeroes off, and it would be worth 11 or 22 million. We don't really know what will happen with the ZIM. Take it for what it is worth. Ray's Wrap Up: What this is about is what if scenarios. This is just information coming from the best sources, so you can plan accordingly. The rest will be up to you! All this is information is to prepare yourself when this is ready. Be Ready and Be prepared. Capitalize on the moment. When this thing pops, sit on your hands and wait a minute. Access the situation, and then we will be able to tell you this is what has happened. Whatever that reality is and you were prepared for when you get the real information, there will be only 2 words for you to say and that is Thank You. Then we move forward. That is what I Believe! What do you Believe? It is Already Done! Rayren98

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region — The first reading of a reform bill proposing changes to salary and pension systems took place in the Kurdistan Region parliament on Wednesday.

The bill introduces reforms to the salaries of public employees and pensioners, including cleaning the list of beneficiaries, preventing duplicate benefits and double-salary holders, and institutionalizing the pension program.

“If this project is implemented, only deserving people will benefit from salaries, pensions, and benefits, and this will directly affect the welfare of the civil servants,” Amanj Rahim, Secretary of the KRG’s Council of Ministers, told Rudaw.

The parliament’s financial committee prepared a report on the reform bill on Tuesday. The legal committee is also expected to write a report after the bill has been debated in the parliament.

Under the proposals, the KRG could save about a quarter of its current salary costs, 100 – 120 billion dinars ($85-100 million).

There are 1.249 million civil servants in the Kurdistan Region. Prior to the economic crisis, the KRG spent about 850 billion dinars on salaries. After introducing austerity measures, the salary budget was reduced to 450 billion dinars as state employees were given just a fraction of their salary.

If the bill is approved, officials will be given 90 days to implement the reforms.

The draft bill was approved by KRG Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani and Vice Prime Minister Qubad Talabani before being introduced to the parliament.

Already suffering under an economic crisis, KRG’s revenues were slashed by about half with the loss of Kirkuk’s oilfields to Baghdad in October. The KRG insists that its current income is not sufficient to meet its payroll.

Anger over reduced or late salary payments and lack of public services drove thousands of protesters into the streets in mid-December in Sulaimani and Halabja provinces. At least three people died in the protests.

Erbil has sent its payroll lists to Baghdad after Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi pledged to pay civil servant salaries after auditing the employee lists. The central government is currently examining data from the KRG’s health and education ministries.

Baghdad has said that the Region must downsize its workforce.

Follow up of Mawazine News
The company has been forced to reduce its production ceiling in the oil field of Badra in Iraq after it turned out that the field is more geologically complex than previously thought, and this comes as Baghdad did not ask Gazprom Oil to reduce production.
The Badra field began production in 2014 and reached 85,000 bpd.
Initially, a consortium including Gazprom Petroleum, Koreagas (KOGAS), South Korea's Petronas, the Iraqi Oil Exploration Company and Turkey's TPAO planned to reach a peak production of 170,000 bpd.
But Denis Sugaypov, head of large projects management at Gazprom Oil, said the consortium had proposed to the Iraqi government to set a production ceiling in the next few years at about 85 thousand barrels per day.
"We now produce 85,000 barrels per day," he said.
So far, the project has invested $ 4 billion, including $ 1 billion for a gas processing plant. By 2030, the consortium will invest an additional $ 2.5 billion.
Gazprom's chief executive officer, Vadim Yakovlev, said the Badra field is expected to reach 110,000 bpd in the future.

A Post-Christmas Carol: Scrooge And The BankersSocial Europe
Keiko Yokoyama Charles Dickens selected a moneylender in his redemption story, A Christmas Carol. 1-10-2018   Newshound Guru Adam Montana  Every morning I wake up and think to myself, "Is anything different or concerning about Iraq today? As of this writing, the answer is NOPE! In fact, there is some positive news about Iraq's banking industry being accepted and even praised for being top notch. This is imperative for Iraq to move forward with a supported raise in the value of their currency. Another thing I look for is the HCL. Are there any new reports? As of this morning, it's been 6 months or so since we saw MAJOR movement on the HCL. With that said, it's pretty easy to understand why we're seeing such a lull in "things that indicate an RV"... What IS an issue right now is this - WHEN will we see some HCL news? Where is the progress?! Here's something that's a bit encouraging: I'm guessing that once that issue is resolved [Kurdish relations], we will see the HCL back on the table, and that's when the dinar will see some urgency again.

1-10-2018   Intel Guru RayRen98    Everything looks basically the same as on Monday.  We did have some banks that communicated to members that we are in a 24-hour window.  That came out yesterday, so they are expecting to do something sometime today, or at least they expected that yesterday...At least the banks had a special meeting on Monday, all hush-hush, and members have told us that their banks say they are expecting memos and such.  Everyone is in a state of high expectation.  So far as we know, the plan is still in place for exchanges to begin before the Forex release around the 15th, give or take a day because of the MLK holiday...We are waiting for updates on the progress of that plan.  We expect the dinar to go up, riding the wave on Forex, and are hearing that other currencies may well do the same.

1-10-2018   Newshound/Intel Guru BGG   Article:  "How to recognize the counterfeit Iraqi currency"   Here are a few obvious points…1) I find it a little curious all this recent “float vs. no-float” talk in the marketplace lately.  2) Dated today, the CBI decides to put a “how to spot fake currency” memo…3) Did  anyone happen to notice the last 3 notes? [referencing picture] I had to go back to my currency and dig out these notes to figure out what they were. That is a 1k, a 500 Dinar and a 250 Dinar note.  WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD THE CBI BOTHER TELLING ANYONE HOW TO SPOT A FAKE 1K, 500 Dinar and 250 Dinar note?? The 1k is worth less than $1 right now… the 500 is about .50 and the 250 is not even worth a quarter!!

1-10-2018   Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat
I still believe we are in an unprecedented position to see the results of the re-instatement of the Iraqi dinar very soon.  Know one will know the exact date or time. No one will know the exact rate until it finally shows up at the banks (and is tradable AT THAT RATE).  ...I have to tell you that the news could not get any better and you know I verify everything.   I am told there is a target within the next couple weeks for the FOREX (and other international currency exchanges) to show the rate.  I told everyone what I knew was that Iraq would do an internal re-instatement then wait until the US Treasury rolls out the revaluation and to the global exchanges. I do not want to get into a count down because no one really knows just exactly how long this delay period will be.
I was told to expect 2-3 weeks. This will bring us to the end of January, which is within the window the CBI just told me days ago, is still the target.

1-10-2018   Intel Guru Bruce
As far as the rate, I can tell you we have people that are trading the dinar on preloads or futures. The last rates I heard yesterday during that situation of trading were approaching $6. That is a good sign as to where the dinar might roughly may come out initially.  We think it might come out and go up, but we don’t know how far. Remember what Dr Shabi said from Iraq in December 2012 about Iraqi dinar being able support a rate of $16?  Don’t know if that will be initially, but I can tell you they are very proud and happy.   [post 3 of 3]

1-10-2018   Intel Guru Bruce  What is interesting is this.  1) The fact they were there to resign new agreements and put new business deals together in Iraq based on a new rate.   2) The fact there is a total internet blackout worldwide from Iraq right now.  3) Tomorrow is supposed to be a major day of celebration in Iraq, a day of reconciliation, a freedom day. I don’t remember exactly what they are calling, but they have some of those words in it. That is something that we understand maybe the opportunity to actually finally put out their new rate or to make it internationally publicly known. Since that has not been the case, and that is why the internet in Iraq is completely blackened out because they are getting ready to do that.  [post 2 of 3....stay tuned]

1-10-2018   Intel Guru Bruce  It is interesting because we are getting a lot of good things pointing to the timing being now, meaning this week for us.
Remember awhile back I had said we had 112 companies represented with 89 different countries in Iraq and they were doing business signing up and getting ready to get started? That has been a month or so. Guess what? They are back. They started coming in droves Saturday and Sunday into Iraq to sort of re-ink new agreements with Iraq’s new value rate on their dinar.   [post 1 of 3....stay tuned]

1-10-2018   Newshound Guru MilitiaMan  We all know by now they have introduced new ATMs in the country. They are going to need a medium of exchange of course, however, as here in the USA we use more and more debt cards than cash, no different for Iraq into the future and keep in mind this Marshal Plan they are going through is going to be in technical terms far more advanced in Finance than back in Germany and Japan.  They have now have access to the best banking features in the world! Let us not forget that there is a mind by the CBI to use 50k and 100K notes in the future. Realize they are 3 Zero notes, however, they are not necessarily for the overall public. The public may want some if they can afford them, but, large transactions will be there utility. E-Dinar will be used for personal and commercial transactions. Very powerful information over the last 24 hours, imo!!  [post 2 of 2]

1-10-2018   Newshound Guru MilitiaMan   Articles “Know Your Currency”  The article showing security features of their currency at this time frame is if not one of the two articles we seek, it sure is a contender for one of them, imo.!  For the 250, 500 and 1,000 note to be openly used by the CBI noted in the article for security features, is for a good reason that we all should see right out the gate...There is no reason to worry about those notes with present 1184 program rate, now add the international calculation into the mix and you have a very valid reason to make people aware for what they have and own...  And if one is a veteran in this investment, one better have had that on ones mind a long time ago! imo. It clearly is now (imo) a signal to every one that may own or will be using the new notes we expect in the near (Let's hope immediate future.) future to be part of the quiver of currencies coming soon not to discard.  [post 1 of 2....stay tuned]

The United States to its citizens: Do not travel to Iraq
2018/1/11 9:50
[Where - Continue]
The United States has developed a new way to warn its citizens of the dangers of travel through a four-level safety system and an interactive map of the world that identifies several countries, including Iraq, Iran and five Arab countries.
The United States has listed 10 war zones and collapsed states in level four: Do not Travel - Afghanistan, Central African Republic, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Mali, Somalia, South Sudan, Syria and Yemen.
North Korea has also been classified at the fourth level with additional restrictions as US law bars US travelers from using their passports there, which means that travel is prohibited.
Some ratings may surprise or less international outrage. The State Department says it offers advice that was originally in place but in a new style.
Officials stressed that the change aims to make the advice more obvious to American travelers, although the system of travel warnings has long been controversial and considered by many humiliating countries.
"These are not political documents, they are warnings based on our assessment of the security situation," said consular official Michele Bernier-Thoth.
