The bond market is entering a new era

Don't think you can accurately predict inflation. Still, the bond market is pricing in 4 rate increases, which the Fed says will happen in 2018. 2-15-2018   Intel Guru Dr. Clarke   Have you figured out WHY we basically said nothing was going to happen BEFORE or DURING the Kuwait Conference...We'll tell you NOW, because now you'll see it, the way we "SEE" it, since we're Now Today, on the other side of it..."The Kuwait Conference was set up a long time ago, just to be used primarily as a "Worldwide Public Advertising Tool", to give Iraq a "Publicly Justified Reason", on a worldwide scale, to FINALLY substantially increase the value of their currency, the Dinar... soon afterward...& JUSTIFY IT.  [post 1 of 3....stay tuned]

2-14-2018   Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat
Some believe they must first reconstruct the cities and allow businesses to come back in. I do not know the answer but if we THINK for a second, we can see that all they really need is to get to a point where they can guarantee that the launching of their new currency will not crash and they can maintain the rate. This is the extent they need. Personally, I believe that if they pulled the trigger today they would be just fine. I am saying this because their overall economy is now much better than prior to 1991 invasion. So could they technically trigger and survive? Yes, I believe they could.  [post 3 of 3]

2-14-2018   Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat    Iraq has had many investment seminars over these 11 years since I have been in this investment. Why is this one so important?  It is important due many reasons: 1) PM Abadi at the helm (political stability)  2) Honest intent to move forward (banking and financial reforms in place)  3) Investment laws in place allowing investors to come in  The investment law and its amendments are yet more pieces to the puzzle and were the banking reforms. So you can see each step they make brings them yet closer and closer to an economy that can grow.  But when will the economy take off?...   [post 2 of 3....stay tuned]

2-14-2018   Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat   Today is the third day of the Donor Conference. So the RV did not happen by Sunday, as expected. The conference has started on Feb 12 and will run until Feb 14th. What next?  I can see we can expect more of the same investment strategy for Iraq. The news now is all about investing in Iraq and part of that investment is the rebuilding of Iraq and moving it to a “market economy” driven by the private sector We must think of the Donor Conference in Iraq as a piece to the puzzle for accomplishing these goals.  [post 1 of 3....stay tuned]

2-14-2018   Intel Guru Bruce    ...Kuwait TV...stated...all the investment opportunities (212) for...that...Rebuilding Iraq...conference...will be essentially backed by the World Bank. The reason that appears the case is because at the time of the start of the conference as far as we know, we hear the Iraqi dinar rate had not been made internationally known.  Iraq who was given permission a few weeks ago to release that rate has not done it yet. We thought it would be done before the conference started.    ...sources...stated that the budget would be put in the Gazette tomorrow [Wednesday]...which would include the rate for the dinar.  We were getting contacts in the US Treasury talking about this going...We know it is in the hands of the banks now because it has been released by the Treasury to do it. I am encouraged because we are finally at the end of the ride. ...All the indicators are very positive...
2-14-2018   Newshound Guru Aggiedad77   Article:  "The House of Representatives concludes reading and discussing the Federal Budget Bill of 2018   In policy February 13, 2018"   WELL LET US SEE WHAT THURSDAY WILL BRING FOR PARLIAMENT...THINK ABOUT IT...THE DAY AFTER THE KW CONFERENCE...SO WILL THIS BUDGET HAVE AN IMPACT ON WHAT WAS DONE AT THE CONFERENCE...IFO...NO... IMO... NO... BUT WE KNOW/SUSPECT HIGHLY WHAT THE FINAL OUTCOME OF THE BUDGET WILL BE...LOADED WITH STARS...PRIMING IRAQ FOR A FRESH NEW START...A START THAT DOES NOT INCLUDE AN ACTIVE WAR AGAINST TERRORISM, BUT INSTEAD A FOCUS TOWARDS THE REBIRTH OF THEIR ECONOMY, THEIR COUNTRY AS A NATION TO BE RECKONED WITH BY THE WORLD...MAYBE THE LION WILL ROAR IN KUWAIT TOMORROW [WEDNESDAY]...IMO IT WAS CERTAINLY AWAKENED THERE TODAY WITH THE GOINGS-ON THAT WE'VE SEEN...OPTIMISTICALLY EXCITED...THAT BE ME...IMO...3...2...1...  d

Interesting explanation for the delay in the RV of the IQD, by Dr. Charke, until AFTER the Kuwait conference. He says that Iraq has to appear to have tried everything, including the Kuwaiti conference, and then will be able to raise the rate, as a “last chance effort” to save their economy. Makes sense.
Rex Tillerson and the Wash ComPost say that investment in Iraq is critical to avoid Isis’ return. Duh, how about removing McValdemort and his ISIS creating missions? Sounds more important to me!
I hear that high level individuals in the FED have been neutralized, as they have been the once persistently blocking the orders to release the 800#s and the funding. If this is true, we should be seeing release being successful very quickly.

ZIM Info} CAMDOC'S Update Wednesday

Summary: I expect the funds to be released this week! (Gee, have I said that before?)
News Alerts - RV/INTELLIGENCE ALERT - February 13, 2018
Intel blackout is still in effect. No new developments to report.

No changes with the UN Operational Rates for the 15th.Zimbabwe has until the end of the month to begin redemptions of historic bonds (ZIM notes).

Forex will not be updated until March 1st.

Multiple baskets of currency rates will not change until March and June.

This gives room for the new financial system to be put in place with all revalued asset/gold-backed currency rates.
Continue to watch for events to unfold.
Interesting—the person who prepared the BIG Call notes last night neglected to include the Zim information! Why do you suppose that might have been?
Bruce: We know that when I call Redemption Centers are for those we are going to take in Zim and I call the Exchange Locations for those exchanging the other currencies and not redeeming the Zim. That is where I make that distinction. There is off sites centers and Tier 1 banks. As I mentioned on Thursday call, we have in the vicinity of (7,200) Tier 1 banks that should be exchanging currencies and redeeming Zim, but that will be and that is not just (12) of each brand like we thought a month or two ago. There is a lot more of them available to take them. I personally believe your best opportunity is to take the toll free number, call it, set your appointment, and use the ability you have to personally negotiate your rate should you choose to do that if you choose to get a personal negotiable rate on your Zim within some range. Also dinar, dong and rial.
Bruce: You guys know that I hope no one is still talking about zeros being taken off the Zim. It is a bond, printed on bond paper with bond ink and no zeros are coming off the Zim period. I can’t tell you what the rates are going to be because they vary. Whatever the rates show, they will be extremely strong, and be very good.
Bruce: As far as the dinar, we know the dinar today is in play. I had rates on dinar, dong, Zim on Saturday as of early morning. I don’t believe it is fair to talk about them what they will be on Tuesday. I did hear today the dinar is on the move. That is a good sign. It was really in good shape Saturday morning. To think by now by Tuesday night we will be in good shape on that. Don’t sweat it. That is the least of your concern is the rates. I have to tell you that.

UN expert: Demining of Mosul needs 10 years to multiply
2018/2/15 8:42 • 148 times read
[Where - Continue]
A UN demining expert said unexploded ordnance would remain in Mosul for a decade, endangering one million civilians or more who want to return to their homeland after the end of a three-year occupation of the city.
The destruction of Mosul has left an estimated 11 million tonnes of debris and two thirds of the explosive materials are believed to be buried in rubble, said Per Ludhammer, program director at the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS).
"Our estimate is that the clearance of western Mosul will take more than a decade," he told a news conference in Geneva. "The density and complexity of the explosive material will not allow this clearance to be completed within months or even years."
"We see munitions dropped from the air, bombs weighing [one] 500 pounds dropped, penetrating the ground for a distance of 15 meters or more, just take one of them take days and sometimes weeks."
Last year, the United Nations Mine Action Service removed 45,000 explosive ordnance and 750 improvised explosive devices throughout Iraq, including more than 25,000 in western Mosul alone.
Other areas such as Fallujah and Sinjar also need more support for demining efforts.
Last week, deminers discovered a factory for the production of improvised explosive devices (IEDs), with a large amount of mortars, artillery shells, grenades, rockets and 250,000 electronic components. "It looked like a cyclone hit an electronics store," Ludhamer said.
The removal of buildings such as the main hospital in western Mosul, which he had previously adopted, was vital to restore services to the citizens.
"We have removed more than 2,500 explosive materials, from explosive belts to rocket-propelled grenades, mortars and hand grenades," said Ludhammer. "Say what you want, all of it was there."
At the Supreme Court in Mosul there were 44 suitcases and explosive belts, nine improvised explosive devices ready for detonation, 64 pieces of improvised explosive devices, 231 mortars, 48 rockets, 72 improvised explosive devices, 220 grenades and 109 grenades.
After all that was done, piles of real estate documents were found, such as in support of returning citizens seeking legal ownership of their homes.
The manufacture of most improvised explosive devices was based on readily available components such as fertilizers, aluminum and diesel powder, and mine prevention valves.
The charges were placed at home or at regular intervals in belts up to 10 kilometers long, with an explosive charge planted every two meters, each containing between 10 and 20 kg of improvised explosive devices.
Some were so complex that they contained infrared sensors or armor-piercing charges.
"Initial explosive charges are nothing new," Ludhamer said. "The new is how complex, densely populated, and they are. They have manufactured munitions and IEDs on an industrial scale. This is new, and they are also manufacturing conventional munitions."

Highlights of TNT Conference Call :
Cliff Notes by Sunny  WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2018
Tony: Gooooooood Morning TNT! It's a great day!
Ray: . . .Spin off from info I shared with you yesterday (above). Idaho posted from the chat room. Some we did not get a chance to privately confirm. First shared . . . unconfirmed rates coming in. (see above) .. . spread or range of values. . . (Ray shared the same info as above in the Tuesday chat post update)
That signing was probably a renewing of something. We gave it to you as we received it. Will build from that today. Tony?
Tony: Yes, the rate came out. Yes, during the conference they were explaining the rate . . . to people investing in Iraq. None of it is official cause it's not on Forex. . . Nobody is going to pledge any money until they know what the rate is going to be . . . and it goes into effect.
Exchange center personnel: Tony: Not in place yet. Not called in. Not sitting at their desks. Did designate more tellers. Tellers notified all across the country. Four or five different states have reported they did receive the memo. Started on Monday putting everyone in place . . . to do foreign currency exchanges for the next several weeks.
1 million exchanged amount and below you will go right to the teller and the teller will complete the exchange. Teller's not negotiating on anything. They are not authorized to do that. . . all tellers will be two lines and two tellers at the window. First come, first served. Multiple family members can each exchange up to $1 million such has husband and wife, children, uncle, cousins. Cannot get a cashier's check while at this teller. Another bank person will handle that for you.
Between $1 million and $10 million exchanged amounts you will go right to a private banker. *** Appointments made on a first come, first served basis. . . .Partial exchange here if you are exchanging over $10 million at an appointment. . . Can do up to a million with a teller.
$10 million (exchanged amount) and above call the 800 # for an appointment with a wealth manager.
CALCULATION OF THE AMOUNT IS BASED ON EXCHANGE RATES: EX: You have 8 million Dong and the rate is $1.50 then you are in the over $10 million category. . . .
Also, you can lump all of your currencies together when calculating your amount. EX: You have 5 million Dong at $1.50 exchange rate and 2 million Dinar at a $4.00 exchange rate. Your total exchanged amount would come to over $10 million so you can call for an appointment.
If you don't have an account at the bank you go to they will open one for you.
Here is the crazy part about all of that - it doesn't make sense to me. They are inviting chaos and problems and telling you guys don't buy into it. Told military reserve units have been put on standby just in case there is a problem. Put on standby Monday night. . . based on something they did to create the problem.
They think there are less than a million people out there with Dinar. I know four years ago it was 6 million with dinar and I saying there are 7 -8 million right now. And then most people have given others dinar. . . Problem is going to be everybody walking in and see those lines at the teller . . . cars in the parking lot . . . lining up at the bank at 6 am in the morning so they can be first.
Ray: Who is "they" just for clarification?
Tony: They supposedly are the younger bank executives who have come on recently and want to change procedures. If each one of those 8 million holders gave just 3 people dinar now we are talking about 24 million people with dinar. . . tripled the number of people not just making appointments but are walking into that line on a first come, first served basis.
Everybody will get paid sooner or later. Cause any conflict it will take that much longer to get paid.
Dong low will be $1.47. Told all the rates were off by .50.
This coming Monday is a Federal holiday.
Ray: Since the military or national guard is being put on standby so those guys planning on buses better make a change of plans! (lots of laughter).
CURRENT WINDOW: Tony: I think it's going to happen over the weekend based on all the information we have and because it makes sense to happen over the weekend.
Tony: Nobody knows exactly what moment in time it's going to happen. We do know it's going to happen. Sooner rather than later.
Iraq: Tony on Kuwait Conference: $60 billion pledged already. . . They announced to the investors yesterday, this is the rate.
  • Budget: Supposed to be agreed on several times. Supposed to be in the Gazette but not seen yet. Looking now to the Saturday issue of the Gazette. Tony: People laying this out say they don't care what the budget does. We are getting this going and the RV will go through regardless. Other people say they don't see it happening without the budget. People are mad at Abadi because he will not give the Kurd's' the 17% they have been getting for years. IMF and US telling Iraq to get the budget done. Now saying they've worked out a deal at 14% with another side offerin there but we are not seeing it in the Gazette. This morning saying it's all smoke and mirrors, that the budget is done. They don't want you to know what is going on so they can just put it out there. Nobody knows exactly what moment in time it's going to happen. We do know it's going to happen. Sooner rather than later.
  • CBI Lower Denom's:
  • Parliament
  • TV / Mosques
INTERNATIONAL:
  • IMF: Has the list of people to receive the 800 numbers Tony:The IMF sent it out to the 16 regions and that's what they anticipated it happening Monday night Tuesday morning. They said, "get it done now" which is why we don't have to wait on the budget or anything elseThat's why it should have gone and it didn't. that was the 3rd requestThe bank said they could not let it go until the US Treasury authorized it.
  • World Bank guaranteeing Iraq Investment Tony Because the people still don't have full confidence in Iraq because of what is going on with Kurdistan, budget and Maliki. . . Somebody had to give the investors the confidence to come and do it.
  • Kuwait Conference: $60 billion pledged already. Tony announced to the investors yesterday, what the rate is going to be and when they could look for it.
  • Currencies: ZIM: Tony: Go with the .11 to .22. If anything more than the just be ecstatic.
  • Dong: Tony: we got from Treasury person, $1.95 -$4 something. Somebody else said $1.47 more likely to happen. No rates showing at the banks now.
United States: Tony: Our currency is our currency and backed by US. Every country involved in this is Basel III certified or they will not be involved.
  • UST:
  • Banks five different times the banks expected it to go and it did not. Tier Two Interest rates Tony: The average banker is not going to know about it. A monthly rate instead of a yearly rate like everybody else. 1-4% a week. Those are platforms you have to be invited into. Qualify and invited. Donald Trump is a billionaire . . . he tried to buy an NFL team. He had the money but he did not have an invitation. . . Just because you have the money you still have to have the invitation. Or the good old boy network - because that is what it is - somebody to sponsor you into that. The bank will look at it and decide if they want you. It's their choice. If you have enough money they will offer you a pre-trial - another opportunity to qualify. It's a two year process to see if you even qualify and once you pass that then they will say, Okay. Very few people are going to do it.
  • Military Bases Every base will exchange when the time come
  • Tax Treaty: Tony: We were told not to mention the name of it. For some reason it is still classified.
  • 800 #'s: Tony and Ray were waiting on them and did not receive them. Tony: Now discussing the banks have their own websites where they will post the 800's. That's the information we are waiting on today.
  • Tax Attorney: Ray: I don't think you need a tax attorney until you get into a tax problem. . . FYI to have a tax professional. Tony: We know it's going to happen. I'd already be asking that person question. Find out before you go to your appointment.
  • Groups who have contracts with China - there contract is a purchase agreement and not an exchange. There tax is written in at 11%.
To get TNT Texts: Send a text message to 40404. The message should say exactly: FOLLOW THE@THE_TNT_TEAM
EXCHANGING: Ray: . . .when exchanging remember "lost opportunity." . . . the difference .10 can make. You exchange . . . and then the rate goes up . . .
Request an Appointment: Tony: They need to ask you how much of each currency you have. Regardless of what you have you can exchange whatever you want of a million or below. At your appointment you can do half then and half next week, next month or whatever. . . Thirty minutes per appointment to exchange.
VERIFICATION: Make sure before you leave the bank it has been accepted as verified so when you leave they cannot come back a few days later and say your currency was not valid.
ZIM Information:
At a .10 rate a 100 trillion note will exchange out at $10 million.
Basic ZIM information given on TNT calls is compiled at the “ZIM 101 Comprehensive” thread at:
Q & A: TNT Forum
Q. - Under $1 million go to any WF or one that does foreign currency? Ray: Pick one that does foreign currency.
Q. - Bank of London still the best insurance to guard against default or bank failure?? Tony: Youll need to ask the bank of financial institution how best to protect it Q. - Can mother and son go at the same time or make separate appointments? Tony: I think separate.
Q and A: Callers
Q. - I'm going to exchange at two different banks in two different states and then talk to a wealth manager and I don't want to exchange for less for the bulk of it than I did at the first bank. Tony: Your going to get whatever the rate is that day. . . If your at BOA on Monday in Florida and then go to BOA later they can look at your account. If your at a different bank they are not going to know (what rate you exchanged at) as banks don't share information like that.
Q. - How can we protect ourselves against the bank coming back to us and saying the currency was not valid? Tony: I don't see that going on - them saying your currency was phony. Right there at the bank during the exchange they either agree with you or put it on hold right then. They are supposed to take your currency - two of them, put it in a plastic bag and sign off on it so it's known that it is your currency.
CLOSING STATEMENT’S:
Tony: . . .Tony: I think it's going to happen over the weekend based on all the information we have and because it makes sense to happen over the weekend.
Tony: Nobody knows exactly what moment in time it's going to happen. We do know it's going to happen. Sooner rather than later.
