Dinar Guru Chatter:

3-13-2020   Newshound Guru Pimpy   Is this right Is there an article out there saying that we finally have Iraq heading towards a floating rate?  This can't be?  When I found out about this I almost lost my poop... Article:  "Former Minister:  Iraqi Dinar On The Way To "Float". ...we want the Iraqi dinar to float.  Yes we do!  This article says for the purpose of reducing its value.  That's not the case.  Quote:   "The former minister, Jabbar, confirmed today, Wednesday, that the Iraqi dinar is on the way too floating..." ...this is good news believe it or not.  I'm not talking about how the dinar is gonna lower in rate...  [Post 1 of 2....stay tuned]

3-13-2020   Newshound Guru Kaperoni
Can I tool [toot ?] my own horn?  Ok here you go...Article:  "Former minister: Iraqi dinar on the way to "float"  Quote:  "the Iraqi dinar is on its way to float (i.e. reduce its value), and the Iraqi government may have to increase the exchange rate of the dollar to 1250 dinars against the dollar in order to obtain additional funds estimated at 4 trillion dinars in the budget and this matter is positive because it will allow encouraging the national industry because it will raise the value Imported goods and makes domestic competitive."  Maybe some of you will study monetary policy now... I do agree that under the current conditions it will probably devalue the dinar. That is why I have stated numerous times that is important that they create the conditions to launch a market economy first.  If Iraq wants to succeed at raising the value they need to create a market economy, have a gov in place, cabinet and pass laws that investors will come and participate.
3-12-2020   Intel Guru Footforward   [What is your opinion the rate you think? I'm hearing it could just be $4.00 or even higher.]   IT'S MY OPINION THE RATE WILL NOT BE $1.34!   I'm not sure how much more strongly I can state...My "opinion" is it will be over 3. I don't want to be too specific. There is a reason I need to be somewhat vague...

3-12-2020   Newshound Guru Pimpy
...APN News put out an article last April talking about the different currencies you should invest in.  Article "Why You Should Invest In The Iraqi Dinar."  APN is from India...they're talking about the US dollar, the Euro, the Japanese yen, the British Pound, the Canadian dollar.  It goes on...quote "if you are interested in investing in an upcoming currency, you need to select Iraqi dinar."  They're encouraging people to invest in the Iraq dinar.  It doesn't say like our government, avoid it.  It's a scam.  No the APN is telling people to invest in the Iraq dinar.  It says in the next few years Iraqi dinar is expected to become one of the major currencies in the Middle East.  We know this.  I know you naysayers out there going this is a scam...Here in the America they call it a scam but other counties they call it an investment...

3-12-2020   Newshound Guru Vital Brad    Article "Can Iraq pay salaries after the collapse in oil prices?  The government advisor answers"   Well not at the current rate that their money is.  That wouldn't quite work.  But is it creating a perfect storm with these lower oil prices to raise a currency value to be able to continue to pay the salaries?  ...reducing expenses that's only gonna go so far.  They're gonna need to do something different like reinstate their currency which would change the value IMO.  Which would cover their salaries.  It's like things are coming to a head IMO.

3-12-2020   Intel Guru MarkZ   [via PDK]  I am still hearing they want to have this out the door and some people in the banks by Friday...  [Today is the day the dinar will start floating as soon as the UN gives their blessing...all sanctions have been lifted.]  I am hearing the same thing…today should be a very busy news day. [Do you think Iraq will float their currency?]  Yes I do…..It makes the most sense to me…I do not believe that will affect our rates or contract prices. They know roughly where its going to float to…I always assumed it would float. It’s the easiest way for them to buy it off the street. As soon as it starts to float a lot of people will go ahead and exchange. The float makes economic sense. ...we are in a front row seat to history…it seems like it is coming unglued…its all helter skelter…the sky is falling…this is a fantastic position for us.  I know its scary, but we are watching it happen right in front of our eyes.

3-12-2020   Newshound/Intel Guru Francis Albert   Not sure where this "float" thing is coming from. All currencies go up and down based on people buying and selling them. I believe there's over 5 Trillion, (that's a T) bet on the FOREX market every DAY. And all currencies are basically pegged to the dollar whether they like it or not. As the Iraqi Dinar rises in value after going International on FOREX, the money currency players on FOREX make on a rising Dinar comes from other traders, not Iraq.

3-12-2020   Intel Guru Frank26   ...the fear tactics that were used as great weapons by Iran against Iraqi citizens it ain't there no more and it's been replaced by the big stick of the United States of America...That's what President Trump is.  He's got one big stick.  You don't want to be hit by it...

3-12-2020   Newshound Guru Pimpy  ...I told you I think that Iraq is gonna come out on a sweet spot of around $1.34...one of the things they can do is increase the value of the dinar.  Give themselves purchasing power and let them go and buy stuff from other countries that they need so they could get all their needs taken care of...

3-12-2020   Newshound Guru Vital Brad  All of a sudden there's talk of Mahdi being the Prime Minister again.  IMO it's because of a time crunch.  They're under a time constraint with things that we know are happening in the background.  So they're gonna plop Mahadi back in.  Mahadi's already agreed to early elections in December which is what people want.  But they also need a seated government...
