MP Ahmad Al-Kinani said, "The political moves are still beginning with the selection of personalities in an informal manner. The President of the Republic met leaders of the various political blocs merely to agree on resolving the candidate's issue, and whether the largest bloc is still sticking to its old nominations or has new nominations, It will be agreed to choose a candidate from among the political blocs to be active. "
He added, "The President's talks with the leaders of the political blocs did not reach an agreement to resolve the candidate of the next government, whether by going to the path of political accommodation or the largest bloc," noting that "
Al-Kanani stressed, "The necessity of speeding up the decree of the prime minister's candidate from political blocs, especially since the prescribed period is 15 days and it is not long", pointing out that "in the event of introducing a specific bloc to form the government, it will be the best solution in order to succeed. Washington continues its violations of Iraqi sovereignty through arrests
link
The occupying American forces in Iraq continue their violations of Iraqi sovereignty by arresting the leader of the tribal crowd, Muadi Al-Ubaidi, in recent days.
The World - Iraq
The American forces recently arrested the leader of the tribal crowd, Muadi Al-Ubaidi, from his home in the Al-Shuhada neighborhood of Al-Baghdadi district, west of Heet, in the Al-Anbar Province, western Iraq.
This is not the first time that a US force has arrested a leader in the crowd in Anbar Province, as it previously carried out several operations, including the arrest earlier this year, of Nasir al-Ubaidi, who is accused of bombing the Ain al-Assad air base occupied by American forces in Anbar.
Iraqi political figures condemned the American violations and arrests of Iraq, and they saw it as a blatant interference in Iraqi affairs.
On the other hand, the sheikhs and tribes of Iraq stressed the necessity of expelling the American forces from Iraq because of their interference in Iraqi affairs and challenging the will of the Iraqis.
The protesters of Iraq .. Abdul-Mahdi's demands, "an Iranian game" to seize power
Iraqi demonstrators rejected the proposals of resigned Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi to hold early elections after the failure of Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Allawi to pass his government, and considered them to circumvent the demands of the revolution.
Abdel-Mahdi called, last Monday, to form a new government as soon as possible, threatening to take constitutional measures if the formation failed, including dissolving parliament and calling for an extraordinary session to finally resolve the election law.
The Iraqi parliament initially approved the election law at the end of last December, but the protesters rejected it and considered it a new Iranian game to restore many old faces accused of corruption to the political process.
The demonstrators refuse to hold early elections before issuing a new law that accepts the sit-in areas, and dissolve the House of Representatives, which controls Iranian influence on a large number of its seats.
Uday Al-Zaidi, a member of the organizing committee of the October Revolution demonstrations, told an Emirati website: “We do not care about the proposal of Abdul-Mahdi nor Allawi, and we will not pay attention to these calls and proposals. We continue with our revolution and its goals. Whoever demanded these elections. "
He indicated that the revolution will not be accepted with the participation of Abdul-Mahdi, Allawi, Nuri al-Maliki, Haider al-Abadi, former Prime Minister and Ibrahim al-Jaafari and the Sadrist movement and other nominations in the upcoming elections.
Zaidi continued: "Early elections must apply political isolation, so everyone who received a position from an undersecretary to the President of the Republic cannot be nominated again in the elections."
According to information from Iraqi politicians familiar with the progress of negotiations between the parties of Iranian influence in Baghdad during the past weeks to pass the Allawi government.
The information revealed that Muhammad Kawtharani, the official of the Iraqi file in the Lebanese Hezbollah, who has been in charge of managing the armed factions in Iraq since the death of Qassem Soleimani, failed to bridge the rift between the faction leaders and the parties affiliated with Iran and to pass the government of Muhammad Allawi, and thus his withdrawal from the mandate.
Muhammad Al-Ali, representative of the Youth Parliament, "a governmental organization affiliated to the Ministry of Youth and Sports" in Basra, said that "resigned Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi cannot manage the country at this time because of his submission to Iran and his lack of ability to hold early elections and take any decision that is in the interest of the people, including his corrupt accountants." ".
Al-Ali added that the Iraqis need a leader who is acceptable to the people, independent and non-sectarian, and he must have the courage to fight the corrupt parties.
Meanwhile, Abbas Muhammad, a civil activist in the sit-in of the Habboubi sit-in in the city of Nasiriyah in the center of Dhi Qar Governorate in southern Iraq, described the Mahdi's proposal as a desperate attempt to return to the prime minister again.
He added: "After its failure to pass the Allawi government, Iran and its influence are seeking to return Abdul Mahdi again to run the government by announcing promises to implement early elections, amend the election law, and dissolve parliament."
He continued: "Abdul-Mahdi will not implement any of these promises if he returns, because Iran will not accept this, so we, the demonstrators, will not be fooled by these Iranian attempts to circumvent our demands, and we will continue the revolution until the end of Iranian influence in Iraq and the formation of an Iraqi national government."

Electricity: Washington extends Iraq's exemption from Iran's sanctions 45 days
The Ministry of Electricity announced, on Wednesday, that the United States extended the exemption of sanctions from Iraq for the purpose of importing Iranian gas for a period of 45 days.
"Iraq managed to persuade the American side to exempt it from the sanctions for the purpose of importing Iranian gas for a period of 45 days," said ministry spokesman Ahmed al-Abadi in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
He pointed out that "Iraq informed the American side of its seriousness in diversifying sources of energy feeding, including referring licenses for the oil fields, to invest the gas associated with the oil, including the Artawi, Crutch, Gala and Redwood fields."
He added, "The American side discussed the issue of networking for energy with neighboring countries, confirming that his ministry had taken serious steps for the network linking organization with neighboring countries."
He explained, "The Ministry of Electricity has signed a contract with the Gulf Linkage Authority, which is scheduled to start its first stages in the month of October next, to supply the southern regions with 500 megawatts as a first stage," noting that "the network connection with Jordan has been obtained approval of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers And the Jordanian Energy Council to sign to connect Iraq simultaneously with Jordan through the Al-Qaim station. "
Al-Abadi continued, "The ministry also decided to link the network regularly with Iran, as well as with Turkey via the Mosul Island line," noting that "these steps come in order for Iraq to prove to the public and to the American side that it is serious in diversifying sources of energy feeding, according to which it dispenses with Iranian gas." .
Washington imposed strict sanctions on the Iranian energy sector in 2018, and threatened to punish countries dealing with Tehran in this field, but it granted Iraq a series of consecutive temporary exemptions.

Blackshart: The Iraqi state must protect the demonstrators and the need to prosecute the perpetrators of the violations
3/3/2020 18:51
[Follow-up]
The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jenin Henness Blackshart, on Tuesday considered the armed groups in Iraq as preventing the continuation of life in the country, during a session of the UN Security Council on Iraq.
"The security picture in the Iraqi streets is complicated, and there are difficulties in its administration," Blashart said in a speech to the Security Council session on Iraq, stressing that "Iraq is witnessing the presence of armed entities with unspecified groups and using individuals to disturb the situation in the country and cause losses."
She added that "armed groups outside the country prevent the continuation of life in Iraq, and this matter should not be hidden by political leaders, but these groups must be dismantled."
"These groups, backed by outside Iraq, are trying to undermine the state system," Blashart explained.
