Basil Hussein: The date for the end of Allawi's mandate to form a government falls on March 8th
The Independent .. The political expert, Basil Hussein, confirmed that the date of the end of Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi's mandate to form the government falls on the eighth of next March.
Hussein said in a press statement to his independent, that "when the mandate of the candidate for the largest bloc exceeded the constitutional deadline of 15 days, the office of the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, said that by referring to the Federal Court, the holidays are not counted within the constitutional terms and extended for 3 days."
