Fitch": the decline of oil will pressure the rankings of the most sensitive exporting countries

Fitch credit rating agency said today, Tuesday, that the sharp decline in oil prices, if it continues, will likely push the sovereign ratings of the financially weaker issuers of the decline, especially those countries with additional pressure resulting from the linkage of exchange rates.
Chief oil analyst for Middle East and Africa at Fitch Jan Friedrich told Reuters that oil prices are likely to remain low for some time, and that countries starting from Saudi Arabia, Iraq and the Sultanate of Oman to Nigeria and Angola are all concentrated.
"Countries whose external position is somewhat sensitive and who have a fixed exchange rate are definitely the most sensitive," Friedrich said.
Turning to specific countries, he said that Saudi Arabia’s financial reserves and its sovereign wealth fund provide a buffer, but there is no “infinite space” regarding the country’s A rating (with a stable outlook) when fenders disappear.
He added that the continued rise in government debt in the Sultanate of Oman "will be a source of concern", while Nigeria's rating of B + (with a negative outlook) may face problems if "lengthy attempts" to defend the country's currency pegged many of its international reserves.
Fitch analysts report that dependence on primary commodities in Angola, Iraq, Suriname and Gabon is the most visible in the world, and that there are ten other developing countries where primary commodities occupy more than seventy percent of foreign exchange income.

Iraq is moving on OPEC to end the collapse in oil prices

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil Hamid Al-Zobaie revealed continuous contact with OPEC member countries and beyond in order to develop appropriate solutions to prevent the deterioration of the oil markets currently.
"The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil, Thamer Al-Ghadban, is currently in intensive contact with OPEC ministers and outside to bring the views closer and find appropriate solutions to stop the decline in the global oil prices," Al-Zoubai was quoted as saying in the semi-official newspaper, Al-Sabah, in its Monday edition.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil expressed his hope that "the extensive Iraqi contacts will contribute to bringing the views closer to serve the interests of the people of OPEC countries and outside it and achieve a balance in the global oil markets."
In turn, Director General of the Oil Marketing Company "SOMO" Alaa Al-Yasiri said in a statement that "Al-Sabah" received a copy of it that "the company is following the strictest standards that are commensurate with the quality and density of Iraqi oils."
Renewed demonstrations in Iraq and cut off an international road
The Iraqi protests renewed yesterday, Tuesday, in Baghdad and the governorates of the center and south, despite the various warnings of the dangers of mass gatherings, due to the fear of the spread of the "Corona virus", while the demonstrators cut a highway in Babylon, at a time a number of Iraqi representatives confirmed that the consultations Continuing; to decide the new prime minister.
In the capital, Baghdad, protesters in Tahrir Square and its surrounding areas continued to be in the square.
In Babel governorate, protesters cut off the international highway in the governorate, in front of the movement of cars, after they lit burning tires and palm trunks.
In the context of the political movement, Parliamentarian Ahmed Al-Kinani warned that the country's situation cannot tolerate more conflicts, calling on the political forces to seriously consider the current situation and work quickly to find a "non-dialectical" figure that is compatible with public aspirations. He stressed that «the differences are still ongoing on the shape of the candidate personality, and whether it will be independent or from judges or university professors or a political figure», stressing that «the country does not tolerate more contradictions and we need to seriously in the matter and look at the state of the country, and solve these problems in Record time ».
Burhan al-Mamouri, a member of the Parliamentary Bloc of Parliament, said that "the specifications of the prime minister's candidate have been agreed upon, and his person has not been reached yet." The MP from the Al-Fath Alliance, Ahmed Al-Asadi, pointed out that "consultations between the political blocs to choose the candidate for the Prime Minister are continuing," denying "sending 3 names to the office of the President of the Republic." The Al-Fateh Alliance disclosed the release of new names to choose a candidate for prime minister. The deputy of the coalition, Fadel Al-Fatlawi, said: "The political blocs presented 7 names of candidates during the ongoing consultations to choose who meets the criteria agreed upon in choosing a candidate for prime minister." He added: "4 of the nominated names were presented earlier, in addition to three others who were not affiliated with a political party and did not receive previous positions."
To that, the leader of the "National" coalition, Iyad Allawi, called on Tuesday, the British ambassador to Baghdad, Stephen Hickey, to communicate with the demonstrators in the country's protest arenas, and support the file of referring their aggressors to the criminal court. Allawi's office said in a statement that the latter discussed with the British ambassador to Iraq the overall developments locally and regionally, and ways to reach solutions that contribute to achieving stability and development.

Tools electronic payment

It is well known that the Prime Minister decided in 2018/5/29 to launch the project of settling salaries and electronic collection, for several purposes, the most important of which is to promote the Iraqi economy and achieve additional revenues for oil revenues, but how does this be achieved? Etc.
What does the localization of salaries have to do with this goal, and what are the mechanisms for achieving these goals, which are sought and looked forward to by the government, the private sector, the international community and every Iraqi? This is a strategic goal that must be under the attention of the Ministry of Planning in measuring the extent to which success has been achieved and adjusting its paths, if it deviates from its objectives.
It also extends to reducing widespread corruption, as a result of the reliance on automated devices to pay money from any citizen such as POS (electronic payment points), where it eliminates intermediaries, beneficiaries and bribed.
It is another very important regulatory objective to preserve government, private sector and citizen funds, how (in practice) this is achieved?
These major objectives, i will try to illustrate with a series of articles by addressing the mechanisms and practical examples with a simplified but coherent explanation of each case, but it is accurate and coherent.
The provision of the international electronic electronic (salary card) for the employee is the first spark for the launch of all these goals, as the salary became another added value when he entered the electronic card. Debit card only as it will provide a bank account that will organize and change the life of the employee significantly and from many quarters and will work on:
First: the organization of the citizens' banking, let's call it:
1. The first regulation:
(Citizen's repayments) To organize an individual's daily financial life with his various payments, the card or bank account will contribute to reducing the time, effort and money he spends to sustain his daily life, as he can agree with the bank to pay fees, taxes and fines through an agreement with the bank, and to cut and pay the end of each month to the concerned parties from his bank account or through the use of telephone payment tools, and there is no need to go to anyone who demands him to pay, and to be exposed to the loss of time in transportation and effort, and in this case, there is no need to go to any party that demands payment, and is exposed to the loss of time in transport and exchange on the transfer and effort effort, and in this case,
The bank will contribute to the organization of the funds of government ministries on the one hand, as it will also gather in the bank for the benefit of the government ministries.
2. Purchase or shopping associated with transport ation of large goods. He can buy a refrigerator for example through the website of any Iraqi company that offers its services and deliver the refrigerator to the house, how much money will be provided to him, at a time when he did not make an effort and the fixed price commodity does not bear any manipulation of the employees sellers, and the business most of them will change to this picture and competition to sell and deliver the item to the houses, as a result will keep his salary from the shortcomings that drain his salary and force to pay it.
3. Purchase from shops, restaurants, markets, pharmacies and laboratory wages ... And others, through the pos payment points device will not pay higher than the price specified for it, and this device does not deduct a commission from the buyer, where it will buy at the specified prices, the Iraqi citizen will pay money without beneficiaries and intermediaries and bribes and without delay and exceed the queue by the payment devices POS, which It will be set up for the private sector and government ministries later when the electronic collection project is launched, as well as will get rid of shortages, forgery, rippers, theft and loss, and many other examples of life, and on the other hand, his various payments will lead to positive results for business owners and private sector companies on the other hand.
4 - The citizen will be able to apply for finances to buy housing or a car, and pay what he has to pay when deducting monthly.
5. Banks will provide various services to meet the staff members' needs, which contribute to the development of their lives, such as the installation of solar systems in their home in installments, which will save them money, reduce their payments to generator owners and give them a system of work for free energy sources.
7. Various privileges and discounts will be provided to him in order to benefit from his bank account, such as reduced travel contracts, card and insurance aggregation points and other services.
8. It will provide him with the possibility of entering new income through (a participation contract) in Islamic banks with any of his relatives, by entering into the project of providing his salary card as a guarantee to provide financing for a small project, and he can benefit from the entrepreneur who has to manage and succeed the project.

Al-Araji: The complexity of the mechanisms for choosing a candidate for prime minister will maintain the current government

Former Deputy Prime Minister Bahaa Al-Araji confirmed that the complexity of the mechanisms for choosing a prime minister candidate will keep the current government.
Al-Araji said in a tweet on "Twitter", "The complexity of the mechanisms for choosing a candidate for prime minister will produce difficulty in selecting one of the names offered, which will lead - and as a natural result - to maintaining the current government!"
It is noteworthy that a number of names were circulated through the media for their nomination for the post of prime minister, including the head of the intelligence service, Mustafa Al-Kazemi and Deputy Adnan Al-Zorfi.

Economists: Mineral investment maximizes the country's resources
Specialists in the economic affairs called for the necessity of investing mineral extraction to diversify the country's financial resources, stressing the importance of getting rid of the rentier economy, while the Economic and Investment Committee explained the reasons for not approving the mineral investment law in the House of Representatives.
Member of the Parliamentary Economy and Investment Committee Nada Shaker Jawdat said in a statement to "Al-Sabah" and was seen by "The Economy News", that "the Iraqi economy is rentier and depends on oil only, pointing out that oil problems are many, as there are fluctuations in oil prices because they are affected by economic, political and security aspects ".
She added, that in the event of an escalation in the Gulf region or the Mediterranean, it will affect oil prices and consequently the Iraqi economy will be affected, stressing the importance of thinking to find alternatives to the economy through diversification of its resources, as Iraq possesses natural resources of minerals and others that are still not utilized properly.
She stressed "the necessity of investing minerals in the underground in an optimal way, as well as taking advantage of oil recovered in the manufacturing industries," noting that "Iraq, instead of selling oil for 40 to 60 dollars, can sell it in thousands of dollars if the manufacturing and petrochemical industries are supported." And she continued to date Iraq imports energy and even most of the oil derivatives despite the extraction of large quantities of oil, noting that the importance of benefiting from Iraqi oil in the petrochemical industries.
She indicated that "there is a mineral investment law prepared by 95 percent within the Economic and Investment Committee and it will be ready to vote during the upcoming sessions," noting that "
She stressed, "The minerals in Iraq are good. When they are invested, they will make a lot of money, pointing out that the Iraqi sand itself is considered a great economic wealth."
 Metal Industry
"Iraq presented many investment opportunities in the field of mineral industry, where there are many investment opportunities for construction and mining industries in Iraq, where many mineral ores and industrial mineral ores are located in different regions of Iraq.
The Iraqi Geological Survey is the government agency concerned The mineral investigation and exploration of these minerals is also the authority responsible for implementing the Mineral Investment Regulation Law No. 91 of 1988 amending, and the Iraqi Geological Survey Authority presents a number of investment opportunities for investment, including phosphates, free sulfur , Sulfates, silica sand, red clays and brick clay, among others.
Free sulfur is present in the governorates of Nineveh and Salah al-Din, where sulfur is among the rocks of the formation of the hole (middle myosin) within the sequences of the curb, gypsum, and marl in the region extending from the east to the hole.
The composition of the Al-Mishraq
shows sulfur in the form of nests, bundles of calcite, and coral material in about twelve domes, the most important of which are the installation of Al-Mishraq and Al-Zazaqah in Nineveh and the installation of an alcohol in Salah al-Din.
The proven and calculated reserves are estimated at (600) million tons of free sulfur, of which 60% is soluble and extractable by (bedding) method.
As for the phosphate deposits, they may be found in Al-Anbar Governorate in the Western Desert region to the west and northwest of the city of Rutba, near the Iraqi-Syrian border.
The deposits of phosphate ore are found in three groups, namely, formation of Akasadate (Palaeocene), formation of the murky (Eocene), and formation of dikmeh (late Cretaceous).
 Natural resources
to that, stressed the economic expert Ahmed Al-Majdi, "the need to give importance to investing Iraqi natural resources and minerals in a manner that ensures the achievement of significant financial resources for the
country."
Al-Majidi said in a statement to "Al-Sabah" that "the Ministry of Industry and Minerals has to offer investment opportunities in front of international companies to invest minerals as Iraq has many types of minerals such as sulfur, phosphates, salt, sand, clays, etc., indicating that these minerals are still hidden and not well invested." ".
He added that "the investment of minerals needs an integrated law that is legalized within the House of Representatives," pointing out that there is a law in this regard that still has some political differences that prevented its passage during previous parliamentary sessions.

The deputy, Fa'ik Sheikh Ali, called on Tuesday, the demonstrators, not to "spit" in al-Khilani Square and limit the demonstration in Tahrir Square, stressing that the silence of the "revolutionaries" towards their demands means giving them up politically.

Sheikh Ali said in his tweets on Twitter, today (10 March 2020), followed by Digital Media NRT: "Hero revolutionaries ... Al-Khulani Square is neither Leningrad nor Sarajevo until it deserves to be looked at by it and offer the offerings of martyrs at its doorstep ."
He continued: "Let her ... the blood of (Hassouni Al-Batal) that I asked yesterday, which is more precious lofty higher purer and longer than it ," adding that "liberation is the arena of revolutionaries, freedom and heroism and al-Khalani is only a forgotten forgotten."
Sheikh Ali said, "When some revolutionaries are silent about their demands for which they sacrificed, down when the militia leaders procrastinate them, relying on achieving them after the elections ... this means, politically, that the revolutionaries give up their demands."
And he stated, "It certainly will not be achieved after the elections. Rather, these same will not be in the imagined velvet form!"

3-11-2020   Newshound Guru Pimpy   ...they're threatening $20 a barrel for oil...this is a war between Saudi Arabia and Russia as far as energy is concerned.  Putin sparked the oil war...let's see how long it lasts but instantaneously the price of oil dropped 21%.  What does this do for the Iraqi people?  This just kills them...Iraq is so dependent on their oil...the United Nations needs to let Iraq lift off the sanctions.  They need to let them deal internationally.  They have to let those sanctions go.  Move from chapter 7 into chapter 8...that allows them then to change the rate.  I still think it's gonna come out at around $1.34.  This allows Iraq's economy to go ahead and start being competitive.  To start bringing in outside investors...this might be the thing that triggers the rate change so keep your fingers crossed...
3-10-2020   Newshound Guru Breitling   I've never had fear of the Iraqi dinar gaining value.  It's just at what pace and at what rate.  I have more confidence today than I've ever had.  But the dinar crowd this is gonna be a prayer answered and then it's gonna be taken away because the most important part of what they need to know they're not even looking at.  They're just worried about getting the money.  You have to have a tax plan in place... [Speak to your tax professional at the appropriate time...]

3-10-2020   Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat
...we are waiting for our third miracle. This miracle is finding that person who will be the saving grace for Iraq to stand up to all the corruption. This corruption stems from Iranian backed militias, the strong-arm of the Iranian backed politicians. I believe this person is Mohammed Allawi. Yes, he did not get his way with the cabinet he wanted and so he backed out, for now. But he will return as he is the man for the job and will come back in time. ...Once Allawi has the legitimate power he needs we will see the necessary changes. Literally, things can change very quickly. It is amazing what a difference a day can make. We wait for this miracle.

3-10-2010  Newshound Guru Angel1  ...There was breaking news all across the [Iraqi] news networks and what they were talking about there was going to be a Q & A interview with the PM Mahadi and the Minister of Finance.  I am desperately trying to get my hands on the translation...I believe it was a good piece of what we are looking for. [Reference Frank26 3-10-2020 below]  We are in an incredible position...what we were waiting for was happening on the other side of the world.  I cannot stress enough - things are on red alert...what we have been seeing behind the scenes has been happening...we are starting to see the public results of private meetings and that is why we're excited...

3-10-2020  Intel/Newshound Guru Frank26  ...the next thing IMO that we should be seeing is the CBI governor Allaq and representations, the Prime Minister Mahadi right now under the caretaker government as a whole and the minister of Finance...those three entities to do a Q & A broadcast presentation speech to the country of Iraq in strong support of the redenomination process of the Iraqi dinar.  IMO we're at a good stage for lift off...

3-10-2020   Newshound Guru Jeff   ...There's one main thing we're both [Guru Pimpy] looking for.  When we see it we're gonna bring it forth and show it to you.  It's almost here.  It's gonna confirm everything that we've shared with you to let you know you're right there and right on the cusp and edge of this thing.  When we see it we will share that with you...we are looking amazing.  We're still right on track with everything...

3-10-2020   Intel Guru Footforward   ...as of right now my feeling is this could be done by the end of march.

3-10-2020    Intel Guru Frank26  ...we believe the coronavirus has put the CBI in a very comfortable wonderful situation where they were lacking the mechanism to bring in the 3 zeros in order to complete the reinstatement of the Iraqi dinar...they're telling them they'll give you new currency when you bring in your three zeros...they say the reason why is they're saying they want you to bring in the currency that has the virus on it.  But that's silly.  That's ridiculous because the teller is not wearing a med-hat suit.  He's not wearing gloves.  He's not in a bubble...he's giving them the new small category notes...the logic is a bunch of baloney.  It's not true at all.  The CBI is using it to their advantage... the CBI has begun a very strategic usage of this...

3-10-2020   Intel Guru Okie_Oil_Man   THIS WAS/IS TO BE A PRIVATE TRANSACTION AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC WAS NOT TO BE INVOLVED. THANKS TO G.W.B. SIGNING E.O.13303 WE WERE PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE—

For money to move and us to be in the banks by Friday. That is the current rumors running around from my financially connected folks...Redemption Center staff are manned and expect to work this weekend...I am still excited at where we are at.

3-10-2020   Newshound Guru Pimpy    Vietnam has their ducks in a row way more than Iraq does.  They don't have a problem with their government.  It's not unstable.  Their economy is pretty healthy and things seem to be going pretty good there...Vietnam is ready to really take a more active role on the international scene.  They want to start doing business with other businesses in the United States...the banks want to get involved...this is great news if you hold Vietnam dong because the stronger they get the stronger the Vietnam dong becomes...April 6 is [when] the new Trump policies are being implemented that if any country is found manipulating their currency there's additional tariffs, penalties and sanctions put on them.  Vietnam was red hot on their list...this is good.  This is what we want...

3-10-2020   Newshound Guru Breitling   Will the lack of a Prime Minister have an effect on the revaluation?  No I don't see it that way.  Remember the CBI is in charge of handing their currency...

3-10-2020   Newshound Guru Jeff  ...Friday Brent crude oil was $45 a barrel.  As of this evening Brent crude dropped $10 down to $35 a barrel.  Everything is moving and happening exactly as I told you it would...remember their goal is to make Iraq look worse than it is...they're doing that politically.  Economically.  Everything.  So now ask yourself why would they have all these crappy lying articles to make the country look like it's completely upside down in terrible shape and then they have these amazing banking articles.  That should raise a red flag to you.  We're right on track.  Nothing on my side has changed...

3-10-2020   Intel Guru MarkZ   [...I heard all the same talking points for the global reset in “08…what makes this different.]  The biggest difference is CIPS. We now have a backbone…we can work around the central banking system. Also in “08 there were not enough nations who had aggregated gold to back a currency change. …lots has happened since “08….  In “08 you needed the central banking system to move international money…now you don’t and it can happen almost instantly. That to me is the biggest difference.
