Devaluation of the dinar and the feasibility of supporting the local product
تخفيض قيمة الدينار وجدوى دعم المنتج المحلي
Financial and economic specialists called for the need to support the private sector and the local product by providing all means of support, while proposing a 25 percent reduction in the exchange rate of the dinar against the dollar by the Central Bank to support the domestic product because it will raise the price of imported products, which creates an opportunity for producers to increase and diversify their domestic products and put them to the local market provided that government support for individuals increases to prevent inflation.
"If the state lowers the exchange rate of the dinar against the dollar, it will have positive effects in other respects and negatives," economist Saleh al-Hamashi said in a statement to Al-Sabah.
Absorbing products
"Governments usually resort to measures in such circumstances to strengthen and maintain the level of consumption to ensure that the domestic market remains stable, as well as to ensure that the production wheel continues, as there is no point in increasing production in a market that is unable to absorb manufactured products, so currency devaluation must be accompanied by a range of measures to protect the market and consumers to avoid falling demand, which requires increased government support for individuals and the setting of minimum wages under the new variable to reach a balance between production and consumption," he said.
Iraqi dinar
For his part, economist Nabil Al-Masry said that if the exchange rate of the Iraqi dinar is substantially reduced by 25 percent, for example, the economies of some countries that export more than $20 billion a year will be severely affected because the cost of their exports to Iraq will become high and their capacity will be reduced. "Due to the inflexibility and limitations of the production base in Iraq, the prices of goods are strong." In the short term, however, this may be an incentive to activate the role of the private sector in establishing projects producing consumer goods and especially food to cover the needs of the Iraqi market, which will lead to lower prices later."
Iraqi investments
"It will put an end to capital flight due to the low value of the dollar against the dinar, as well as reducing Iraqi investments abroad, especially in real estate, reducing Iraqi deposits in foreign banks, as well as reducing the relative reduction of money laundering operations in Iraq," he said.

Government Advisor: We have withdrawn the funds of the China Payroll Agreement and we have no cash to pay off
The government’s financial advisor, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, revealed on Tuesday that he withdrew about one billion dollars from the financial treasury of the China agreement to pay employees ’salaries for the current month, indicating that next month there is no cash and the government will rely on withdrawing liquidity from government banks.
"The government was forced to withdraw about one billion dollars that was earmarked for the China agreement to pay salaries this month, while internal debts were deferred by about one trillion dinars," Saleh said in a televised interview with the "Economy News",
adding that "the government has a deficit of about 4 trillion dinars within the minimum spending To pay salaries, electrical stations, hospitals, and ration card items.
Saleh explained, "Next month, deposits will be withdrawn from the banks of Al-Rashid, the Commercial Bank and Al-Rafidain to pay the salaries in what will be the month that comes without any financial liquidity and urgently to urgent economic intervention."

Parliamentary Security: Three components will negotiate with Washington and obligate the implementation of the parliament’s decision

Between a member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, Bader Saegh, Tuesday. The negotiation committee with Washington will consist of three components, despite the directions of these components, but it will be obligated to implement the parliament’s decision to remove foreign forces from Iraq .
"The negotiating committee with the American side will be made up of Shiites, Sunnis and Kurds, in addition to the specialists in order to hold the initial meetings with Washington," a jeweler said in a statement to "The Information."
He added, "The Shiites refuse to keep the American forces while the Sunnis and the Kurds support this presence, but in the end, the parliament’s decision is binding on everyone to implement it, as it stipulated that these forces should leave the country."
And that "the government must go according to the parliament’s decision, just as the negotiating committee should make clear to the parliament the mechanisms and axes that it will discuss with the American side in order for the House of Representatives to be aware of and aware of what will happen during the negotiations, especially since it took its decision to evacuate Iraq from any foreign forces ”

Advisor to the Prime Minister: Resolving the dispute with the region is political, and the currency auction allows money to escape

The Prime Minister’s advisor for economic affairs, the appearance of Muhammad Salih, stressed the importance of resolving the financial dispute with the Kurdistan region.
Saleh said to the Euphrates, "The issue of Kurdistan is a strategic political issue that can only be resolved through the negotiating table and in the long term, but it is in the interest of Kurdistan to be with the central government and it appreciates that."
He pointed out that "deduction with salaries will proceed even for the employees of the region," stressing that "the current finance minister can impose an iron will on the outlets and the customs."
Saleh pointed out that "those appointed in 2019 do not have any problem with their financial and legal status, and all their rights will be preserved, and that all of the 260,000 new retirees have their rights guaranteed in the retirement fund."
He stressed that "the Central Bank of Iraq saved Iraq twice in 2014 and 2017 and has provided the government with 20 trillion dinars to supply the Iraqi economy with money."
He stated that
Adviser to Prime Minister vehemently denied the government 's efforts to cancel the ration card , despite stumbling - based in which "announcing" allocation of 100 billion dinars as a down payment for an initial payment of dues the farmers for marketing their crops, which reaches its dues total to two trillion dinars. "
And what is being said about suspicions of corruption and money laundering in the currency auction of the bank The Central Bank of Iraq, Saleh said: “Money laundering takes place in all countries of the world and not to finance trade but rather to the exit of capital. In Iraqi law, there is no prevention for this matter, meaning that the window of currency sale allows money to flee abroad.”

Finance Committee: The deficit can be covered in two ways and has been forced to give the government powers to borrow

the Parliamentary Finance Committee saw, on Tuesday, that there are two ways to cover the deficit, pointing out that Parliament may be forced to give the government powers to borrow.
The decision of the Finance Committee Ahmed Al-Saffar said, "Reducing the salaries of employees is still a governmental proposal and we are awaiting the budget to arrange everything, especially as we are against prejudice to salaries, because the crisis is not real but rather temporary and there are ways that can be adopted to pay the temporary deficit either by borrowing or maximizing resources." .
And, "There are revenues that can be followed up, just as there is a waste of money and unnecessary spending, and all of these things, if they stop, can be used to finance salaries."
And on the draft borrowing law, Al-Saffar explained that "the draft law is not hampered by problems, and parliament will give the government public approval of borrowing, governed by conditions, including providing the parliament with information on the lender's mortgage rates" Has been delayed. "
The committee decision added that "borrowing is an article that comes within the provisions of the budget law, but if the budget is delayed, the parliament will be forced to give powers to the government to borrow and provide revenue as it is in a financial crisis until the budget comes, so that borrowing is included in its paragraphs," noting that "high prices Oil will benefit the government, which is one of the reasons we refused to prejudice the payroll because the crisis will end with the recovery of oil prices.

6-8-2020   Intel Guru Footforward  [...cant they also open up international without the RV as well?]   not really. They have to have their own international currency for that. The dinar needs to be reinstated to it's true value before that can happen...

[via PDK]   [Did you see the speech where POTUS said RV 5 times!!! He really hinted at an RV.]  I thought that was more than a little curious. We are seeing a lot of signs...they need to stop playing games and do it.

6-8-2020   Intel Guru RayRen98   I BELIEVE...THAT "IN THE COMING DAYS" ARE DEFINITELY COMING! $$$$$...

6-8-2020   Intel Guru Footforward   [ I do not understand how re-valuing the Dinar to a higher rate helps the Iraqi people...]   ...it helps Iraq because they can go international. They can open their boarders and open to world which will have a massive impact on their economy. To the average person in Iraq it will help them with work. But the average person in Iraq will not become rich from this...

6-8-2020   Newshound Guru Pimpy  I want to comment on the vibe.  Even some of the naysayers that I usually hear from [are] starting to slightly sway in the other direction.   They're starting to see a lot of things happening.  I don't know if that's just the power of positive thinking.  There's a lot of good vibes out there and so it just king of pulling those individual over to the positive side because I think those types of things happen.  It's looking good.  Big steps happening...

6-8-2020   Intel Guru MarkZ   [via PDK]   Iraq did not go yet even though there were great expectations for last weekend. My diplomatic contact over there is believing that Wednesday may be the day.

6-8-2020   Newshound Guru MilitiaMan   It sure looks like they are again hitting the ground running with reforms. This new PM and his FM are on fire to get things off and running. The PM held a special session on financial and economic reforms today. They normally meet Tuesdays if memory serves me well. If so this sure supports the urgency, in that having a special session is a good thing. It reeks of urgency.. imo.

6-8-2020   Intel Guru Footforward    [...you have mentioned that you think that Iraqi Dinar is purposely being made almost impossible to get now...]  Iraq's boarder is basically shut down. That means not much gets in or out. They are using the virus as the excuse. No one really thinks much of it. So i know because of that, dinar is hardly getting shipped out of Iraq. If Trump tells dinar dealers they have to shut down, that's going to tell people the RV is real. When the RV is about to happen, they would have to wind down sales because any unsold dinar has to go back to the CBIThat obviously is a hassle. This way, with the boarder shut down, no order has to be given for dinar to stop being sold, and no one has to send unsold dinar back. It's all sold and out of stock. This is all my opinion...

Eliminate stuffy nose with these simple tricks
7/6/2020 22:54
Where's the news _ general

Most of us suffer from stuffy nose in certain cases and when they get sick or have a cold, and the condition may pass by itself, but simple tricks can speed up this process, according to the Express website.

What causes a stuffy nose?

There are some reasons that may lead to a stuffy nose. Usually, this occurs due to inflammation of the blood vessels in the sinuses, as a result of a cold, allergy, or sinusitis.

There are several easy ways to open blood vessels and get rid of a stuffy nose:

1- Keep moisture

Drinking water all the way will relieve nasal congestion and help push fluid out.

It is recommended to drink warm herbal tea and fresh juice.

2- Take a hot bath

Steam from the shower helps reduce mucus and eliminate inflammation. This will allow them to breathe properly through the nose for a short period.

The face can also be evaporated in a hot tub, with a towel on the head, relaxing and taking deep breaths of steam.

3- The humidifier

The humidifier converts water to moisture, which fills the air and helps open the blocked nose, so the humidifier can soothe irritated tissues and swollen vessels.

Moisturizers also relieve mucus in the sinuses, helping to empty the fluid in your nose.

4- Decongestants

Try using a decongestant medication to reduce swelling and relieve pain.

Your nose may be blocked by allergies, so you may want to try taking antihistamines or allergy medications.
