Al-Fath: Crime Escalated After The Dollar Was Raised And Created Three Problems Within Society
The leader of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Uday Al-Khadran, confirmed, on Friday, that the crime escalated remarkably after the decision to raise the dollar in the Iraqi markets.
Al-Khadran said in a statement to “Information” that “the economic situation is an important factor in enhancing the stability of societies, and poverty is the disease for all security problems, including organized crime, stressing that raising the price of the dollar had severe consequences for millions of Iraqis because it raised prices significantly, weighing the burdens of the poor, who reach Their number is 13 million.
Al-Khadran added, “The most prominent factor in the escalation of crime with its various headings is the current economic crisis, one of the main causes of which is the high prices after raising the dollar and devaluing the Iraqi dinar, stressing that this decision increased the rates of theft, divorce and even addiction.”
He pointed out that "it is not possible to achieve stability in a society whose millions of people live below the poverty line, stressing the need to pay attention to the difficult economic conditions that are exploited by networks and gangs in promoting crime and attracting young people to it.
After everything that happened during the past 24 hours... and what happened in the closed rooms... Al-Kazemi is getting very close to the gate of the second term?
What happened during the past twenty-four hours of facts, meetings, discussions, disagreements and consensus, some of them secret and some of them public, not only in the Shiite house, but also in the Sunni
and Kurdish houses as well, have produced results and data that overturned some of the verified and changed some of the prevailing, or Which was believed to be prevalent and fixed in the equation, and at the same time, the events confirmed and proved some of what was already present in it before..
at the level of heading the next government, and after Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi’s visit to the headquarters of the leader of the Sadrist movement Muqtada Al-Sadr in Al-Hanana, where it was and still is Najaf is a pilgrimage site for most politicians, candidates and non-candidates to head the new government, or to occupy seats in it, especially after the Sadrist movement won the largest number of seats in parliament in the recent legislative elections and after strengthening the majority of it with alliances with independents and other forces from the winning parties.
Although Al-Kazemi’s goal in visiting Najaf was purely administrative and service, it came within the framework of arrangements made by the Prime Minister two days after the resignation of Governor Louay Al-Yasiri.
This was confirmed by announcing a source close to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers that Al-Kazemi personally took over the supervision of the administration of Najaf Governorate, which has great rel so not only for the people of Najaf.
The first deputy governor of Najaf will be in direct contact with the prime minister, in order to ensure the smooth running of the province’s affairs and to overcome potential financial and administrative obstacles in a country mired in bureaucracy for decades and facing scattered political, economic and social crises.
This step comes within a package of decisions taken by the Prime Minister concerning Najaf, which is considered the spiritual capital of Iraq and the world.
Despite this goal, the visit provided an opportunity to meet Al-Kazemi with Al-Sadr, and discuss what could be discussed in that meeting, which was not long, as Al-Kazemi and Al-Sadr discussed in Al-Hanana - according to a statement issued by the Media Office of the Prime Minister - the arrangements that concern the governorate, service projects and ensuring their completion.
From our side, we believe that it is natural that the issue of alliances and agreements to form the largest bloc and the next government was mentioned in their meeting yesterday.
Especially since this meeting comes in the midst of political discussions between the Sadrist bloc, which won the most seats in the elections, and other forces, to form the new government.
Observers believe that Al-Kazemi is getting closer today to assuming the premiership for a second term, leaning on a good legacy of national achievements and positions - political and administrative.

The Director-General of the Industrial Cities Authority, affiliated to the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, Hamid Awad Muhammad, said in an interview with the Iraqi News Agency, which was followed by "Economy News", after activating the Industrial Cities Authority, the authority was able, during a record period, to establish an industrial city for each governorate, and among these governorates is the holy Karbala, where it was completed. Muhammad added that "the city will be attractive to investment and includes a large number of industries and industrialists, as it is served by infrastructure and is close to the Holy Karbala refinery," noting that "it will provide many industries that were imported from abroad, as the contract was signed and is currently in the process of laying the foundation stone during the next week." ".

Al-Sadr's veto over Al-Maliki shakes the alliance between the coordination framework and the Sadrist bloc
negotiations of the Iraqi political blocs, aimed at forming the largest bloc, are moving towards more complexity, after differences have become ravaging the one bloc, especially among the Shiite and Sunni houses, after the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, put a veto on the head of the "State State" coalition. The law,” Nuri al-Maliki, as a prerequisite for an alliance with the Shiite “coordinating framework,” while Sunni politicians belonging to the “Azm” coalition are seeking to oust the leader of the coalition, Khamis al-Khanjar, in an effort to win the presidency of the House of Representatives, which the data indicates is going towards the renewal of the president Progress Alliance, Muhammad al-Halbousi.
It was reported that al-Sadr sent a message to the Shiite “coordinating framework,” that the “Sadr bloc” would not participate in any government that includes al-Maliki.
A press statement was quoted by the leader of the "State of Law" coalition, Wael al-Rikabi, in which he confirmed that "the Sadrists sent a message to the leaders of the coordination framework that the Sadrist movement will not participate in any government that includes the leader of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, although things were good, and there was Consensus and agreement between the two parties, for the purpose of forming the largest bloc and forming the new government.”
The dispute deepened not only with the Shiites, who aspire to the position of prime minister, but also with the Sunni political forces, specifically in the “Azm” coalition, due to news that its leader Khamis al-Khanjar intends to renew the mandate of the head of the “Progress” alliance, Muhammad al-Halbousi, which It seems that he did not live up to a number of members of the Khanjar Alliance, who wanted to put their names to the presidency of Parliament, so they decided to dismiss him.
The head of the "Al-Watan Party", which is affiliated with the "Al-Azm" coalition, Mishaan Al-Jubouri, confirmed the news that was circulated to dismiss Al-Khanjar from the presidency of the "Al-Azm" coalition, indicating that most of those who signed the dismissal decision are "candidates who did not win" in the October elections. the past.

1-6-2022 Newshound Guru MilitiaMan ...after having met the obligations of compensation to Kuwait, there will and should be that Iraq will be able to interlink global banking and with that comes and international rate to be applied. The banks are now closed until Sunday in Iraq, if I have that correct and there are no new holidays? lol Add in, the UAE is to link their monetary, governmental and financial work week with the rest of the world tomorrow. ...So, it is my view that there may still be opportunity for us to see this over with by and or over the weekend into early next week, imo.
1-6-2022 Newshound Guru Petra It's the CBI that has responsibility for the rate. Set that whole thing aside about forming the government...the first thing they're gonna do I think the leadership is to go right after the budget...get it knocked out...the budget needs the rate...at this point in time we're just waiting for those nice little notes to show up. That's what we're waiting for...and with that obviously would come the rate...
1-6-2022 Intel Guru Frank26 I believe you are going to hit a high $3 or even possible low $4. In other words a rate of 3 to 1 or maybe 4 to 1 internationally which would reflect inside of your country as well...IMO you are going to float the moment that they announce that you are clear of Chapter 7 and Chapter 6...because you already paid Kuwait this announcement is coming. [Post 2 of 2]
1-6-2022 Intel Guru Frank26 What the governor of the CBI is telling you [Iraqi citizens] is that right now you have a fixed rate but it stinks. It's a program rate. It's worthless. Now, soon the Iraqi dinar will de-peg from the American dollar and go on par with it at a fixed rate of 1 to 1 internationally. It is at that point where the global communities will buy, trade and sell in using the Iraqi dinar causing it to go up in value like the other middle eastern countries around you. [Post 1 of 2...stay tuned]
1-6-2022 Intel Guru MarkZ [via PDK] News out of Iraq is still very positive. They are saying lower denominations are prepared and they want to change the rate. It could be anytime. I am still hearing from Iraq it could go before the 9th… Don’t be in the doldrums today. We are going to get across the line. Wish I had more for you but it has been very quiet. The quiet before the storm???…the dark before the dawn???
1-6-2022 Newshound Guru Pimpy The election is done, over with, finalized. We have the first session coming up. We have talk about the rate change happening. No numbers are being thrown around. My thought is they'll at least restore it back to where it was before...from 1450 dinars back to 1190 dinars. I know for a lot of people they're like, 'oh that sucks. That's not what I wanted.' As long as it's going in the right direction be happy. As long as they continue down the path follow the white reform papers it seems to me that these increases are going to happen frequently and at a much bigger chunk than that little jump right there...
1-6-2022 Intel Guru Frank26 [Iraq boots-on-the-ground TV report] FIREFLY: There is a rumor that the exchange rate will go down from 1460 to between 800 to 1000. That's the rumor that's going around between bankers. We are not sure. We just heard this. He said it would be a process... FRANK: ...This is a rumor. He's right. IMO...
1-6-2022 Intel Guru MarkZ [via PDK] I am hearing our turn is anywhere from late this week to the 15th... I contacted 3 different Iraqi contacts, and they are expecting between the 9th and the 15th. I’m not saying it can’t happen sooner…just what they expect right now. I am not ruling out this week at all.

Iraq practically enters the use of solar energy
The Iraqi Ministry of Environment announced, on Thursday, that the country has "practically" authorized the use of solar energy, noting that the controls for technologies in the use of these systems have been defined.
And she said in a statement, received by Shafak News Agency, that the committee charged with setting controls for financing electricity generation systems from renewable energy for citizens and industrial, economic, commercial and agricultural activities funded by the initiative of the Central Bank of Iraq approved the financial and technical controls early this year.
She added that this came in line with the state's orientations to switch to the use of electricity generation sources from renewable sources, explaining that it had launched, with the Central Bank of Iraq and other state institutions, an initiative to implement the national adaptation plan for the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.
The statement quoted the Director-General of the Environmental Awareness and Media Department, Amir Ali Al-Hassoun, as saying that the controls for technologies in the use of solar energy systems have been determined, which will allow citizens and various institutions to purchase them at competitive prices within the loan allocated to the initiative through local banks, indicating that the committee has established provisions and controls that guarantee Using the highest levels of technology and its sustainability through following up the standardization and quality control device, which will be installed under the supervision of specialized technical teams from the Ministry of Electricity.
Al-Hassoun explained that the initiative to switch to clean energy comes in line with the government's directions to abide by the decisions of the Paris Climate Change Conference, stressing that it is one of the fruits of the awareness campaigns implemented by the department in the public and private sectors as part of its plan to raise awareness of climate change. She referred to the formation of a committee headed by the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank, with the membership of representatives from the Ministries of Environment and Electricity and the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control, as well as representatives of the private sector from experts and investors.
The Ministry of Environment presented a detailed table on the specifications and approximate prices of loans according to the size of the system, which is considered a qualitative leap in the environmental aspect and is economically feasible for what the citizen spends on purchasing energy.
Fitch: Unemployment has risen in three Arab countries, including Iraq
The credit rating agency, Fitch, reported that three Arab countries, including Iraq, experienced an increase in unemployment with the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic, which worsened the situation in them.
Fitch said; Youth unemployment and the lack of economic opportunities for them with a growing population represents a major policy challenge and a threat to political and social stability in most countries in the Middle East and North Africa.
She pointed to the growth of demographic challenges since the outbreak of the events of the Arab Spring (2010-2011), which partly reflects the grievances of young people who are deprived of their rights, indicating that with the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic, conditions have worsened, and the already high unemployment rates have increased in Iraq, Jordan and Morocco.
Fitch added in a report seen by Shafak News Agency; The growth of real GDP per capita was weak in all countries of the region except for Egypt and Morocco, and labor force participation rates declined, in a trend that preceded the spread of Corona in Egypt, Morocco and Jordan.
It showed that demographics has a multi-faceted impact on sovereign ratings, as high population growth rates promote growth and thus exert a downward force on government debt dynamics, as is the case in Egypt. It leads to high unemployment rates and stagnant living standards, which increases the risks of social and political instability.
She explained that the need to contain social stability risks often leads to increased government spending on public sector employment and provision of subsidies, which leads to wider deficits and a tighter spending structure, noting that this approach succeeded in containing youth unemployment in Tunisia to some extent over the decade. The past, but culminated in debt sustainability and politically intractable financing challenges.
"Dana Gas" share declines with the increase in cash payments received from the Kurdistan Region and Egypt
"Dana Gas" company announced on Thursday that the total cash payments it received in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and Egypt increased by 107% on an annual basis in the year 2021 to reach 1.38 billion dirhams, compared to 667 million dirhams in the year 2020.
The company explained this morning that this significant improvement in the level of collection is due to the strong recovery in oil prices and the acceleration of the pace of cash payments collection in Egypt and the settlement of old dues in the Kurdistan Region.
It said that its share of cash payments received from sales of condensate and petroleum gas in the Kurdistan region increased by 80% to 674 million dirhams in 2021 compared to 374 million dirhams in 2020.
It is noteworthy that "Dana Gas" announced that it had received a cash payment of $39 million, during the month of December 2021, from the Egyptian government.
She noted that by receiving this payment, the total amounts owed by Egypt would be reduced to less than 30 million dollars (110 million dirhams); This is at the lowest level since the start of its operations in Egypt in 2007.
Electricity issues clarification regarding the payment of Iran's dues for gas supplied to Iraq
Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Electricity denied the news of its intention to liquidate the Iranian side's dues for the gas supplied to Iraq.
The ministry said in a press statement received by Earth News that "what was reported by some news agencies that Electricity announced the government's intention to liquidate the dues of the Iranian side, is incorrect."
She added, "The ministry announced, earlier in 2021, its willingness to pay all the dues of the current supplier gas for the value of gas supply for that year, and the ministry has actually paid the bills for the supplied and supplied gas in full except for the month of December of the year 2021 in the credit funds."
The ministry called on news agencies and satellite channels "not to cut statements and fragment them in a false manner and to mislead citizens and public opinion with false news."

1-5-2022 Intel Guru Frank26 What does it mean to float? Or how can Iraq float the currency internationally? The answer was if you had Chapter VII completed. If you had all Chapter 6 completed. If you had Kuwait say you don't owe us anything and they have. That's why we're at that next step. IMO it's what the CBI has told the executive level to tell the branch levels, the tellers, to tell the citizens.
