In the name of God
The spontaneous, peaceful revolution that liberated the (green) region as a first stage is the golden opportunity for all of the people who were stigmatized by the fire of injustice and terrorism
Corruption, occupation and dependency. I hope that the tragedy of missing the first golden opportunity in 2016 will not be repeated. Yes, this is another opportunity to dispel the darkness, darkness, corruption, exclusivity in power, loyalty to the outside, quotas and sectarianism that have perched on Iraq's chest since its occupation and to this day. Yes, a great opportunity to fundamentally change the political system and the constitution, and the elections, which if rigged in favor of the deep state, have become the best free and fair elections. O, proud, free Iraqi people who love reform, democracy, citizenship, law, independence, sovereignty, prestige, and limiting arms to the hand of a strong, patriarchal state that imposes law on itself before the poor and does not exclude the powerful, militias, and the like. Beloved, you are all responsible and all of you are at stake.. Either an Iraq lofty among nations or a vassal Iraq controlled by the corrupt, vassals and those with worldly ambitions, and even moved by the hands of outsiders, east and west.
At that time, I have no choice but to pray and cry for the end of Iraq, which is near. O free men, it is the cry of Imam Hussein: How humiliating we are... And his cry:
Whoever hears our awareness and does not help us... I say: whoever hears the awareness of reform and does not support it will be a prisoner of violence, militias, kidnapping, greed, intimidation, marginalization, poverty, humiliation and the erasure of dignity. O beloved people: Rise to seek reform in your homeland just as Imam Al-Hussein came out to seek reform in his nation and the nation of his grandfather, the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family. Your Iraq is the Iraq of sacred things, the Iraq of civilization, the Iraq of jihad, and the Iraq of the reformist spring. Do not miss the opportunity, or else there will be a time of regret. Therefore, I call on everyone to support the revolutionaries for reform, including our proud clans, our heroic security forces, members of the Mujahid Popular Mobilization Forces who refuse to submit and subjugation, and all groups of the people to support reform, men, women, old people, youth and children, not under my banner or my leadership, but under the banner of Iraq and the decision of the people, even if some claim that the current revolution is a Sadrist . But if you miss the opportunity, do not blame me, for I invite you to what is in your interest and reform, and to save your homeland, your dignity, your food, your goods and your prestige.
Not when it is inevitable.

Muqtada al-Sadr's coordination framework: Let us debate or demonstrate
Shafaq News Agency learned from a leader in the comprehensive coordination framework of the Shiite political forces with the exception of the Sadrist bloc, that the framework is working to open channels for dialogue with the leader of the current Muqtada al-Sadr, as the relationship between the two parties is witnessing a "blockage", which reinforced the warnings of an armed clash between the two parties. followers of both sides.
The dispute between the political forces has prevented the formation of a new government since the last elections were held on October 10, 2021.
The source told Shafaq News Agency, that the concerned communication mechanism is directly with prominent Sadrist leaders, to discuss political initiatives to contain the current crisis, and meet with Sadr.
He added that Ammar Al-Hakim, Hadi Al-Amiri and Haider Al-Abadi are leading the dialogue from the framework.
He said that the framework is actually working on preparing for a "million" demonstration "in defense of state institutions", and that launching it or not depends on conducting a dialogue with Al-Sadr and the results of the initiatives.
In this regard, a leader in the Sadrist movement told Shafak News Agency, that the coordinating framework really tried to communicate, but we are in compliance with al-Sadr's order after opening official communication channels.
However, he added, "There may be informal contacts between the two sides here or there, but entering into a direct dialogue with the framework depends exclusively on Al-Sadr."
And earlier on Saturday, demonstrators loyal to Muqtada al-Sadr stormed the Iraqi parliament, in a measure that is the second of its kind in a few days, to reject the nomination of Muhammad Shia al-Sudani for the position of prime minister by the coordinating framework.
In response, the coordinating framework called on its supporters to take to the street in demonstrations to "defend the state", after the supporters of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, stormed the Green Zone and the parliament headquarters, and staged a sit-in inside it.
However, following this statement, the leaders of the main framework called for calm and dialogue, in order to contain what they considered the crisis, and decided to postpone his demonstration until further notice.
Guterres calls on the actors in Iraq to calm the situation and avoid further violence
The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, said that he is following with concern the ongoing protests in Iraq, during which a number of people were injured.
This came according to a statement attributed to his deputy spokesman, Farhan Haq, issued late on Saturday evening.
The Secretary-General indicated that respect for freedom of expression and peaceful assembly is one of the basic rights that must be respected at all times.
He appealed to all relevant actors to take immediate steps to calm the situation, avoid further violence, and ensure the protection of peaceful demonstrators and state institutions.
The Secretary-General urged all parties and actors to overcome their differences and form an effective national government - through peaceful and inclusive dialogue - capable of meeting the long-standing demands for reform, without further delay.
It is noteworthy that the supporters of the Sadrist movement, led by the prominent Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr, stormed for the second time and within 72 hours the fortified Green Zone and the Iraqi parliament building in protest against the nomination of the coordinating framework Muhammad Shia al-Sudani for the position of prime minister for the next federal government.
The Sadrist bloc had obtained the highest votes in the early legislative elections that took place in October of 2021, but the efforts of the leader of the current failed to form the new federal government due to the Shiite coordination framework standing in its way by obtaining a fatwa from the Federal Court with the so-called blocking third in a contract The session for electing the President of the Republic, which paves the way for naming the Prime Minister.
The three-way alliance between the Kurdistan Democratic Party led by Masoud Barzani, the Sovereignty Alliance headed by Khamis al-Khanjar, and the Sadrist movement led by Muqtada al-Sadr was broken following the resignation of the Sadrist bloc's deputies, and the movement's withdrawal from the political process by order of al-Sadr.
The political scene is living in a crisis situation and a dead end unprecedented in the history of Iraq, as more than 300 days have passed since the early elections without being able to form a new government in the country, and the survival of the caretaker government headed by Mustafa Al-Kazemi.
On the tenth of last October, Iraq held early legislative elections to get out of a political crisis that swept the country after large demonstrations in the central and southern regions in 2019 in protest against the widespread unemployment in society, the spread of financial and administrative corruption in government departments and institutions, and the deteriorating reality The service and the livelihood, which prompted the former prime minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, to resign under popular pressure.
As soon as the preliminary results of the elections were announced, the voices of political forces and actors rose in their rejection of losing many seats, accusing them of major fraud in the ballot, which was denied by the executive and judicial authorities, at a time when the United Nations and international organizations praised the integrity of the electoral process.

Investors and Iraq projects.. Enrichment at the expense of public money
With every economic crisis that Iraq witnesses, the country's decision-making circles re-talk about the necessity of correcting the general economic situation, and attracting foreign and local investments in order to start reconstruction and provide job opportunities for young people.
In this regard, the Federal Office of Financial Supervision stressed the need to limit granting concessions to investors, as it stressed that the system of selling and renting real estate and state lands and the public sector has become enriching the investor at the expense of public money, and that some of the paragraphs used in it violate the provisions of the Investment Law.
The bureau was not satisfied with noting this violation regarding the investors, but also went to ask the Council of Ministers to amend the paragraph related to them, that the land offered for investment be in exchange for an allowance.
In addition, economists stressed that “it has become a necessity for the economy to regulate the work of some investors, limit them, and draw up a mechanism for their work, not granting them privileges of up to 10% in the project.”

Al-Kazemi’s advisor identifies the negative effects due to the lack of approval of the budget
The financial advisor to the Prime Minister, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, clarified, today, Sunday, the alternative laws for the budget in minimum treatments, while warning of five negative effects when the budget is delayed.
Saleh said, "The alternative laws to the annual federal budget law are treatments for the minimum in the conduct of economic life in the country, such as the financial management law and its current applications or the recently adopted emergency food security law."
He explained, "The most negative point in not passing a law on the general budget is the delay in approving new government investment projects, especially large and strategic projects, which leads to delays or shortfalls in economic growth rates."
He continued, "This shortcoming extends its negative effects to the coming years due to the faltering growth of the great national capital accumulation, and the transformation of spending into a phenomenon limited to consumption only, which is fed by imports," noting that "this leads to growing cases of stagnation and economic stumbling at the end." Ultimately, levels of underemployment or crowding out levels of unemployment are in all cases.”

Investors and Iraq projects.. Enrichment at the expense of public money
With every economic crisis that Iraq witnesses, the country's decision-making circles re-talk about the necessity of correcting the general economic situation, and attracting foreign and local investments in order to start reconstruction and provide job opportunities for young people
However, the Iraqis realize every time that these calls are hardly implemented on the ground, due to the conflict of some laws that give large percentages to investors and reserve the revenues of the project for them in advance
The Diwan not only noted this violation regarding investors, but also went to demand Council of MinistersBy amending their paragraph, that the lands offered for investment be in exchange for an allowance
In addition, economists stressed that "it has become a necessity for the economy to regulate the work of some investors, limit them, and draw up a mechanism for their work, not granting them privileges of up to 10% in the project
Reuters report reveals al-Sadr's demands, dissolving parliament and reforming the judiciary
Supporters of Iraqi populist leader Muqtada al-Sadr pitched tents and prepared for an open sit-in in front of the Iraqi parliament on Sunday, in a move that could prolong the political crisis or plunge the country into new violence. .
Thousands of loyalists of the Shi'ite cleric stormed the fortified Green Zone in Baghdad on Saturday, seizing the empty parliament building for the second time in a week as his Shi'ite rivals try to form a government.
"We will stay until our demands are met. We have many demands," a member of Sadr's political team told Reuters by phone, speaking on condition of anonymity because he is not allowed to make statements to the media.
The Sadrist official said that Sadr's socio-political movement is demanding the dissolution of parliament, new elections and the replacement of federal judges.
The Sadrist movement came first in the October elections as the largest party in parliament, making up about a quarter of its 329 members.
Allied parties suffered heavy losses in the elections, with the exception of former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, Sadr's archenemy.
Al-Sadr failed to form a government devoid of those parties, however, suffering from enough opposition in parliament and rulings by federal courts that prevented him from being chosen for the post of president and prime minister.
He withdrew his deputies from parliament in protests and has since used his own group of poor Shi'ite followers to incite street protests.
In numbers... the central bank's reserves of the dollar and gold revealed
Manar Al-Obeidi said, in a press statement, that the Central Bank owns multiple types of reserves, amounting to more than 160 trillion dinars, including an investment reserve of 60 trillion dinars invested in foreign banks in return for returns and interests.
Al-Obaidi added that there are reserves of gold estimated at 140 tons, with a value of approximately two trillion dinars, in addition to the presence of internal debts with the Ministry of Finance of the Central Bank of up to 40 trillion dinars, and the high oil prices in the global market contributed to a jump in Iraq's cash reserves.
Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi revealed earlier that during the two years of the government's life, the Central Bank's reserves were less than 50 billion dollars, and now it reached 76 billion dollars, and it will reach 90 billion dollars by the end of this year.
Parliamentary Finance warns of “paralysis” in the local economy
Jamal Cougar said, in a press statement, that: "It is premature to say that Iraq is capable of facing global economic challenges, because Iraq is a rentier country that depends on oil revenues, and any fluctuations that occur in countries of the world contribute to causing great paralysis in the local economy, which is considered of fragile economies.
And he indicated, "The Iraqi state today does not have integrated economic studies, and the effects of global inflation will have great repercussions on the Iraqi economy, because the country depends mainly on importing goods and services from abroad and there is no local production, which means that the Iraqi market is negatively affected by every case of inflation witnessed by countries." region and the world.
He added, "The jumps in oil prices saved the Iraqi economy from collapse, and when oil prices fell and the price of a barrel reached about $20, the government tended to take large amounts of cash reserves, and relied on internal and external borrowing, as well as changing the exchange rate and providing an austerity budget."
He continued, "The rise that occurred today enabled the Iraqi economy to restore its monetary activity, raise reserve rates, and pay large sums of debts owed internally and externally."
Cougar pointed out, "The government should take advantage of the rise in oil prices, and allocate the surplus to support the investment side, because the state is still spending 75 percent of its budget for the operational side, expenses and salaries, and all of these expenses have no financial return."
He demanded "the government to work on approving an investment budget, not an operational one, to create new sources of funding, and to transform the Iraqi state from a rentier state to a multi-resource one."
It is expected that Iraq will achieve 120 billion dollars in oil revenues this year
Al-Hardan said, in a press statement, that: "The opportunity for high oil prices comes to Iraq again after the world witnessed a rise in oil prices nearly ten years ago, and the country did not benefit from it in real terms, relying on its rentier economy (oil money) to fill its operating and investment expenses."
He called on the federal government to "properly invest the opportunity of rising oil prices this time, because it is expected that oil revenues for this year will reach more than 120 billion dollars."
And Al-Hardan indicated, "This increase in oil prices can continue, which may be reflected positively so that there will be a turning point in the Iraqi economy, through the correct and sound investment operations, and the establishment of projects supporting the Iraqi budget and the lack of complete dependence on the oil sector."
He stressed "the necessity of investing opportunities to develop the economic sectors and industrial and agricultural facilities, and to develop projects that can be an essential source of transforming the national economy from rentier to diversified."
Al-Hardan stressed, "This increase is a temporary opportunity due to international factors and variables, and the possibility of the end of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, which will be followed by international agreements to reduce global oil prices."
The jump in oil prices came to save Iraq from stifling economic and financial crises, and to get it out of the predicament of borrowing, depleting cash reserves and exacerbating the budget deficit.
And revenues from Iraqi oil exports, during the month of June, amounted to about 11.505 billion dollars, according to official figures issued by the Ministry of Oil in Baghdad. The ministry said in a statement that the total amount of crude oil exports for the same month amounted to more than 101 million barrels.
