"Due To Popular Demand" Goldman Starts Covering Bitcoin

link

It's official: not only has bitcoin officially made its way to Wall Street, but confirming rumors that emerged over the weekend, "hedge" funds - starved of volatility in virtually all other asset classes -  are now not only actively trading the volatile digital currency, but as clients of the vampire squid, have petitioned Goldman's chief technician, Sheba Jafari to start covering it.
In the report that Goldman released this afternoon ago, Jafaru concludes that "the balance of signals are looking broadly heavy" with the following view: "wary of a near-term top ahead of 3,134. Consider re-establishing bullish exposure between 2,330 and no lower than 1,915."
In other words, Goldman is bearish. Which probably means that bitcoin is set to make new all time highs shortly.
From today's "GS Techs: Quick BTC"
Due to popular demand, it’s worth taking a quick look at Bitcoin here...

The market has come close (enough?) to reaching its extended (2.618) target for a 3rd of V-waves from the inception low at 3,134. It’s on track to forming a bearish key day reversal if today’s close settles below 2,749. It will also form a key week version if Friday’s close is below 2,475. Both daily/weekly oscillators are diverging negatively. All of this to say that the balance of signals are looking broadly heavy.

An eventual 4th wave should retrace at least 23.6% of the length of wave III, which in this case comes to to ~2,330. It shouldn’t go much further than 38.2% down at 1,915. Expect 4th waves to trade sideways/messy for a period of time before eventually continuing the underlying trend. Will use the length of wave I (~1,136 points up to the Nov. ’13 high) to measure the minimum projection target for wave V.

View: Wary of a near-term top ahead of 3,134. Consider re-establishing bullish exposure between 2,330 and no lower than 1,915.

Now we - and apparently a whole lot of other hedge fund managers - eagerly await Goldman's thoughts on Etherium.

The dialogue "morning" with the links to various files and issues, and the following is the text of the dialogue:Discussion session
- On the debate, what did you ask about the liberation of Mosul in front of European officials?
In our intervention, we referred to the military situation, and we assured the Europeans that the battle of liberation on its front page was not for the care of the Prime Minister and the Iraqi government for the lives and security of the citizens trapped in the old city who prevent "urging" them out of them, to liberate Mosul for months because the Iraqi army and other security forces and the crowd The Peshmerga were able to liberate the left side of the center of the province in record time. We also explained that the "da'ash" realized that the delay of liberation was done by restricting people in narrow neighborhoods and alleys and making them a human shield against our forces; preventing the armed forces from invading them so violently "We also noted at the conference that before the battle began, the prime minister directed that the first priority of this battle is to preserve the lives and safety of civilians and then think about other aspects of the battle, including the security of the armed forces and the maintenance of infrastructure. Discussion at the conference these contents.
Then we discussed the issue of supporting stability and that there is a great effort of the government despite the financial distress experienced by the country by the relevant ministries, each according to its competence and there are projects opened and other rehabilitation related to drinking water and the provision of electricity and health services and also some educational services, There has been agreement since last year to form a group called the International Stability Support Group (ISG), run by a UN working group and receiving grants from coalition countries. This group spent about $ 300 million on the affected areas This rehabilitation justified by basic services projects such as water, electricity , health services and rehabilitation of some educational sectors , in addition to other services.
She explained that our expectations with the international support team that the stability support needed for the remaining months of 2017 would require $ 500 million. We presented this figure to the ambassador of the United States and the ambassadors of the European Union in Baghdad - before we attend the Brussels conferences - and it became clear to the Europeans that there There is an urgent need for this amount, which is expected to contribute to the quarter of the United States. What is remarkable is that there is great enthusiasm from parliamentarians and EU officials for Iraq's requests with gratitude for the role they have played. They expressed their gratitude for the role of the prime minister and the armed forces In the battle in the management of humanitarian and military sides.

Support IDPs
- How is the confirmation of the international effort with the urgent need now to support the displaced?
- We stressed in the conference the sustainability of the momentum of work and support of stability through increased allocations to the international support group, in order to perform more tasks than it is now through the rapid restoration of services, and showed that the projects of restoring stability may require support for a full year after the liberation of the last inch of our precious land On the other hand related to the issue of community reconciliation, we stressed at the conference that the Prime Minister directed that we hold conferences within the province of Nineveh, and indeed the government had contacts with some of the society's activities and representatives of different components of the people of the province, which helped to set a date for an expanded conference in July or The next in order to believe in a better environment for the return of displaced people in sync with insurance services
the basic.

Conference and Document
- What about your participation in the second conference in Brussels and the most prominent interlocutor?
- The European Union organized a conference on reconstruction in the troubled regions of the world, in coordination with the World Bank. It presented the special offer on Iraq and the position of the Iraqi government, and frankly confirmed at the second conference that the intention was to establish an international reconstruction conference in Mosul. Iraq has sacrificed thousands of its sons in this battle, which has made the land of Iraq a graveyard for "dashing" and a large amount of the danger that was staring at many countries of the world, including European countries, so the Support Iraq in the reconstruction Construction is a kind of gratitude because he gave all these great sacrifices.
- You signed an important document prepared by the European Union, what are the implications?
The European Union has prepared this document under the title "European Development Days 2017" and we have signed it. In this document, there is an emphasis on the implications of sustainable development launched by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015, which includes 17 main goals related to eradicating hunger and poverty. The conference was attended by ten African heads of state and foreign ministers from Latin America as well as Iraq. I was represented by the Prime Minister as well as ambassadors of the world countries in Belgium and the European Union. The conference was attended by King and Queen of Belgium. Ke In addition to explaining the Iraqi point of view on international issues, including the issue of terrorism and its supporters, and taking advantage of the principles of sustainable development in dealing with poverty and disease, improving living conditions and achieving equality between the components of society between males and females and between young and old and non-marginalization. To participating countries including Iraq from outside the European continent.

Meetings and meetings
- What about the side of your meetings with European officials?
On the sidelines of these conferences, we also held several meetings. I met with the Coordinator of International Relations in the European Union and showed him what Iraq expects from the European Union countries to support the aspects of the return of the displaced and support the stability and reconstruction. After we raised our issue of reconstruction and construction, And I personally expect that the aid will double over the next short period. We have also held several meetings with officials of the European Union, in which we emphasized the contents that the Prime Minister explained in the conference. An exercise in the importance of supporting Iraq in its fight against terrorism and ensuring stability in the liberated areas.

Relationship with Saudi Arabia
- In a meeting with the newspaper "Riyadh" Saudi Arabia last week, that the conditions are ripe your declarations for wider cooperation between Iraq and Saudi Arabia; what are the frameworks of this cooperation?
As Saudi Arabia knows, Saudi Arabia is the first source of oil in the region. During the war and blockade, the Kingdom has developed many industries, including extractive industries and many manufacturing industries, and has progressed significantly in the industrial sector. The Minister expressed his great readiness to cooperate in the field of trade exchange in the first place - not only in the field of importing goods from Saudi Arabia but also exporting many goods from Iraq to the Kingdom - and expressed his readiness also to organize a lot of industrial facilities and activities, As we still have large quantities of gas burned and not used, while Saudi Arabia overcame it, a kind of agreement to communicate consultations to study this subject in depth, was the framework of the visit by the Saudi minister is strongly linked to the economic aspects and strengthen these relations .
- What about reconstruction programs? Is it expected that Saudi Arabia is providing aid for the reconstruction of Mosul?
- frankly we did not go into details on this subject with the Kingdom, because there is an invitation from Saudi Arabia to visit an Iraqi delegation to discuss the possibilities of developing economic cooperation, including in particular investment within Iraq as well as the revitalization of the industrial sector through partnerships with Iraqi private sector companies.

Kuwaiti support
- What about Kuwait?
Kuwait has the largest support in helping displaced people. We also have an integrated project with Kuwait to distribute food and medical supplies, and there is a project to build 80 schools of caravans, With a large number of classrooms and classrooms and can be used for many years until reconstruction in all regions. So far, more than 30 of these schools have been established. They were established on direct instructions from the Prime Minister, mostly in the liberated areas.
- What about Kuwait 's debt, you will be delayed due to the financial crisis and the war on terror that Iraq is going through?
- The rest of Kuwait is four billion six hundred million dollars (of the total compensation of 43 billion) and these compensation approved by the Security Council and the United Nations and Iraq is committed to pay from its oil resources despite falling oil prices, and for the third year Iraq suffers from financial hardship and a large budget deficit as a result of war On terrorism and so far there has not been a clear response from the Kuwaiti brothers on the postponement of the next year because it postponed to 2017 and we are in the midst of a large battle at all levels, and we are committed to the Security Council resolutions, but that is linked to the flexibility shown by the Kuwaiti government in this aspect, and there are attempts to exploit You have money on the investment side through partnerships with Kuwaitis but talk is still early on the subject.

6-11-2017   Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat   Article quote:  "...it is contemplated to resort to an emergency government in Iraq, in the case could not be made scheduled for April 2018 general elections, or in the event of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi failed to win qualifies him to stay another term in office."   I fear that if this RV overflows into election timeframe coming up next year we could be in serious trouble if we have to go through this election saga again between Maliki and Abadi. Do I believe this RV saga will go into 2018? Absolutely NO! I am just saying “if” and what we might expect if it does.

6-11-2017   Intel Guru Dr. Clarke   Are you PAST Ready? Here it is, June 11, 2017.  Due to what WE see happening from JUNE 23rd onward, our guess is that, MASSIVE amounts of Money, will change hands in JULY...AFTER the 4th, to be sure. MASSIVE. There is a big SHOCKER, that nobody sees coming...give it about 2 weeks. It will Change the direction of EVERYTHING!...and it won’t be FAKE. You won’t Miss it. It will not be a “maybe”, for it will be unmistakable.
The MASSIVE amounts of Money, that move in JULY, will be TINY, compared to the MASSIVE amounts that move in OCTOBER. Oh, we almost forgot... “ANYTHING can Happen, at ANY TIME”.

6-11-2017
Intel Guru Jester   ALL THE THINGS WERE DECIDED AND ARE MOVING FORWARD...WE KNOW THEY ARE WORKING ON ONE MORE THING... WE ARE GUESSING AT WHAT IT IS SINCE WE ARE NOT IN CONTACT WITH ANYONE AT THAT HIGH OF A LEVEL THAT WAS IN THE ROOM AT THAT TIME... AND THEY ARE BEING VERY HUSH HUSH ABOUT WHAT THAT IS...I KNOW YOU ALL LIKE THIS TO BE OVER... IT IS NOT AS SIMPLE AS YOU THINK TO FIND THAT INFORMATION...WE HAVE GOOD CONTACTS TELLING US IF WHAT WE THINK IS IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION... THAT IS ALL... IT WOULD BE HANDY IF THEY WOULD GIVE US THE ANSWERS... LOL.

6-11-2017   Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat   To RV Iraq will need to step up their private sector and begin producing goods and services. They will have to work on raising their GDP (gross national product). These kinds of moves will drive the value of the currency up and stabilize the economy. I also want to remind everyone too that in late April Abadi said that he is working closely with the IMF and World Bank to get “fully” out of sanctions related to Chapter VII. Why would he say this if they were not still in Chapter VII sanctions? Why can’t they now just use their dinar to pay for imports of goods and services? BECAUSE THEY ARE STILL UNDER SANCTIONS. These sanctions will not be “fully’ lifted until the threat of ISIS and other terrorist no longer exists. This is why they put the sanctions in place to begin with.  No peace, No lifting, No RV. So this too is very good news. But I would not hold my breath to look for an RV until these sanctions are “fully” lifted.   [post 2 of 2]

6-11-2017   Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat   Article:  "Ready to operate the “Iron and Steel” factory in Basra"  Quote:  "...The director of the iron and steel factory in the province of Basra, Abbas, said on Tuesday that his city will witness the end of next year, the creation of all the equipment for the operation of the iron and steel mill and melting of the scorpions, which was one of the largest factories in the Middle East."    I can express how good this news is. It is WOW news! These are exactly the kinds of articles we hope to be reading at this point in time. Yes- the govt in very serious now in getting the economy rolling again. How does effect our long awaited RV?  Remember to tie these kinds of articles to what we already know for FACT...   [post 1 of 2....stay tuned]
6-10-2017   Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat   ...the upcoming scheduled celebrations we are now hearing about will not have anything to do or impact with the RV.  We know that Eid-al-Fitr (End of Ramadan) date is Monday, June 26th. We know that their mind set is to have the next two weeks as liberation weeks with many events and activities throughout Iraq.  I have to tell you they did NOT meet their June 10th goal of “full” liberation... No – we are not just waiting for a “public” announcement but for the liberation to be completed so they can legitimately and honestly make this “public” announcement.   However for Ramadan, this year is different than most because they are celebrating both a liberation and Ramadan at the same time. I assure you both of these events will end at Eid-al-Fitr.  It is at this point of Eid-al-Fitr we can expect to see a re-focus back to the currency reform. It is at this point I strongly believe the CBI is planning to reinstitute the re-education process of their plan to roll out the new currency, as needed.   [post 2 of 2]

6-10-2017   Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat
The process of deleting the zeros must resume once again and we know for a fact the plan is for this to lead to an initial rate of around $1.00. How do we know this? We are only speculating of course on the rate, but it is a rate the CBI and the reports on the future state of the currency has stated many times and is most probable based on the FACTS we now know.  We were told this will only occur when ISIS liberation is completed, the Iranian influence is gone to the extend they are no longer interfering in Iraqi politics, and they must move forward with the economy. In other words they need the Stability and Security to launch this new economy.   [post 1 of 2....stay tuned]

Deputy: Barzani a tool to implement the agendas of the Israeli Mossad to divide Iraq

2017/6/11 8:45

[Ayna-Baghdad]
A deputy said that "the Kurdistan region's outgoing president Massoud Barzani instrument to implement the agendas of the Israeli Mossad in cooperation with a call to divide Iraq and keep it weak." She said.
"The referendum that Barzani intends to conduct is nothing more than a new attempt to laugh at the minds of ordinary people and to play on the national front in an attempt to cover up his continued looting of money and smuggling of oil," Alia Nassif said in a statement released by her media office today. And the acquisition of imports of border crossings, this referendum is nothing but a play to absorb the anger of the Kurdish street over his control he and his sons to rule in the region illegally and disrupt the parliament of the province and the suppression of dissidents and liquidation.
Nassif added that "the Kurdistan region today is under the control of repressive power dictatorship like the governments of the Middle Ages, and there are many international reports on human rights violations in the region, which is called state terrorism, and it was normal to meet the agendas of the authority of the province with agendas aggrieved, For all that the first beneficiary of a supporter is Barzani and his entourage. "
"The Barzani militias fought mock battles against Da'ash in accordance with the Israeli Mossad plan to keep Iraq weak and fragile, while they send mercenaries to fight the Kurdish volunteers who contributed to the liberation of Sinjar on the grounds that these belong to the PKK, and these scandals are no longer hidden to anyone."
"No dialogue with Barzani is a futile and time-consuming dialogue. This person does not recognize any laws or regulations, as evidenced by the fact that the land he acquired is equal to two provinces. He did not respond to the demands of the official authorities to return to the borders of 2003, Has value because he does not have the legitimacy to stay in the post of President of the Kurdistan region and because he clings to the chair of the presidency by force after the disruption of the parliament of the region.
"His [Barzani] hostile policy toward Baghdad is evident by sheltering Erbil, the outlaws and wanted terrorists."
Naseef stressed the need for the Iraqi government to instruct the Electoral Commission to hold a referendum on whether or not to keep Erbil within Iraq, and if voting to keep them within Iraq, the government of the center must be silent about what is happening in the Kurdistan region of financial corruption and looting of wealth and shelter The acquisition of land not within the borders of the territory and repressive practices towards opponents and the confiscation of freedoms. Baqir al-Zubaidi: Baghdadi is located in fortified tunnels in Qaim and the story of his death is fabricated

BAGHDAD - June 12 - Iraq's former transport minister Baqir al-Zubaidi confirmed that the Daily Miro newspaper reported the killing of the leader of the terrorist organization Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in the Syrian city of Raqqa. The Iraqi minister said: "We confirm what we have said previously that al-Baghdadi is currently in the desert of Iraq in the vicinity of the city of the caches in underground tunnels and tunnels built in 2013."
Al-Zubaidi said according to "LeBanon 24" in response to the newspaper "Daily Mirror" British, the killing of Baghdadi, while a former Iraqi official responded to the report with new information on Baghdadi. "A senior leader was killed in an air strike in Syria, according to unverified reports in the Syrian government media," the newspaper said. "Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed in an air strike on Saturday."
It is noteworthy that heavy artillery fell through the terrorist organization in Al-Rigga throughout the day, and posted on the Internet footage showing the destruction caused by. Recent documentary evidence shows that al-Baghdadi survived his capture in Iraq just minutes before 2013, before his army was unleashed by jihadists in the world.
The report appeared when Iraqi forces claimed that al-Baghdadi's deputy, Ayad al-Jumaili, had been killed in an air strike on the Iraqi border with Syria. The intelligence officer under Saddam Hussein was described in an Iraqi television report as the "second leader" and "war minister" of Daish, according to the Daily Mirror.
While Iraqi forces besiege the former stronghold of al-Baghdadi in Mosul, the caliphate declared in the city's main mosque in 2014 is disintegrating. Although he is the target of multiple bombings, analysts believe he is still at large. He was reportedly seriously injured during an air raid by the same area in March 2015.
As with many stories surrounding al-Baghdadi, what really happened is still a mystery. Iraqi media claimed in February 2017 that al-Baghdadi was hit by an air strike on the city of Qaim, which borders the Syrian border on the Iraqi side. This is not the first time Iraqi officials or media have reported the injury of al-Baghdadi. It is noteworthy that the last appearance of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, was in November last year in a voice speech "This is what God and His Messenger promised us." Finished
