Roudao - Erbil

A spokesman for the Iraqi Supreme Federal Court, Ias Samok, said on Wednesday that the court postponed the decision on the case of the export of the Kurdistan Region of oil to next month.

Samuk said in a statement on his Facebook page that the Federal Supreme Court decided to postpone the appeal against the unconstitutionality of extracting the Kurdistan Region oil from its territory and export it directly to the ninth of December.

He added that "the Federal Supreme Court held its session under the chairmanship of Judge Medhat al-Mahmoud and the presence of all members of the judges, and considered the appeal against the unconstitutionality of extracting the Kurdistan region oil from its territory and export directly."

Samok said that "the court session was devoted to the consideration of the report of experts," noting that "the court noted that the experts did not submit a consolidated report of what they reached, but each provided a different opinion."

Noting that "the court postponed the hearing to the ninth of December next to enable experts to complete their task together to submit a consolidated report before the date of the next meeting ten days."

The Federal Supreme Court has begun in early May to consider the lawsuit filed by the federal government to the Kurdistan Regional Government, demanding the delivery of oil produced to Baghdad and the non-permissible to export independently.

The Federal Supreme Court is the largest judicial authority in Iraq, which adjudicates disputes between the federal government and the regions and the constitutionality of laws, regulations, instructions and orders issued by any party.

The Kurdistan Region began to export its oil to the world markets in 2014 via a line owned by it to the Turkish port of Ceyhan. The territorial government continues to export oil abroad, and says that the Constitution of Iraq does not contain any substance preventing it from developing oil resources in its territory.

This is what they call money laundering

15/11/2018 - 01:18

Iraqi activists launched a campaign on social networking sites, to ridicule the announcement of the governor of the Iraqi Central Bank $ 7 billion ($ 6 million) in a government bank due to rain in 2013.

The governor Ali al-Alaq had told parliament: last Monday, that "7 billion dinars was damaged by the entry of rainwater and drowned the coffers of Rafidain (government) in 2013, which led to the damage of banknotes by 100 percent."

Twitter activists quickly called the label "# sinking_7_million" to ridicule the statements of the relations, although he stressed that the losses do not mean the loss of seven billion, but the loss of the value of printing paper, which is up to 4 cents at most.

"The Prophet Joseph stored wheat for 7 years and what is damaged .. And the relationship with a rainbow of seven billion .. This they call money laundering .. Fear knows what."

"Yesterday, $ 20 billion was stolen because the treasury is not fire-resistant. Tomorrow, $ 200 billion is being stolen because the treasury is not bullet-proof. In conclusion, the bank was completely stolen because the building fell because of strong winds," said another user. .

Others said it was nothing more than an attempt to cover corruption. "A new way to steal," said another, while another said the whole subject was "lying" while another said: "Money laundering, money laundering. All this you find in the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq.

Others criticized the silence of the parliament and the absence of accountability, and one of them said: "Of course the public money is loose and Hassib .. Keywords say that the rainwater that entered the Rafidain Bank has destroyed 7 billion!

Activists also published sarcastic images, while others went further, posting videos of practical experiments proving that the paper currency was able to withstand the water, in an attempt to question the statements of the relationship.

MP Majida al-Tamimi, a member of the Planning and Follow-up Committee, stressed the need for Parliament to give more details on the case in which the investigation is ongoing.

Iraq has lost over the past 15 years amounts of 194 billion euros of public funds, almost three times the budget of the country.

Corruption is responsible for this through various methods, including fake contracts and salaries of fictional employees, according to parliament.

11-14-2018    Newshound Guru Kaperoni   There is no RV or RI...if the dinar appreciates in value it will not happen overnight.  That being said, monetary policy will need to change to accommodate investment and that means they will need to float the dinar.   Floating the dinar allows the CBI to gradually raise the value to counter inflationary pressure created by an influx of investment.  A float can start anytime, but i do not see it rising to equal a dollar for several months if not longer.

We know that the new asset backed currency rate calculation system introduced in 2012-2013 is generating periodic rates for many of these underdeveloped countries. These rates are pushed down to the banks through this system. Yes, these are real rates but they are not yet implemented. So why does the Iranian Rial all of a sudden show up again with a rate of about $3.90. WOW! This is remember all calculated based on assets and bumped around with neighboring middle eastern countries. This does NOT mean these rate are eminent or will show up LIVE today or tomorrow.

11-14-2018   Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat   For only 2 reasons – a. continuance of corruptive banking practices (greed) and corruption and  b. political will to execute the “project to delete the zeros”. Again these same politicians are making a...load of money off these fake banks. This is why Dr Shabibi realized the necessity to end these auctions as soon as possible. But the corruption during the Nori al-Maliki administration put a dead stop to this effort. This was the closest the CBI ever got to completing this project to delete the zeros. It has been an uphill battle ever since to do it.   [post 2 of 3....stay tuned]

I have always said these Iraqi currency auctions are now just funneling more money to the terrorist in USD and were set up initially to do just the opposite. So why even continue them then? They are part of the problem.  How can this be since they forced Iraq in the past under the sanctions to use only USD thru converting dinar to US dollars thru these currency auctions. Oh – but these sanctions are now lifted and so why does Iraq continue to use these auctions. Answer:    [post 1 of 3....stay tuned]

11-14-2018   Newshound/Intel Guru RVAlready   The budget has nothing to do with RV timing. I do not think anyone plans a CBI investigation. The fact that the budget is already written in 1:1 numbers, should tell you everyone knows what is happening…. I think this is on a timetable. All the public stuff is just smoke and mirrors, as usual.  Remember, this is a new parliament.
Allaq reassured them that the MR is going smoothly. He seems to be in control of the MR, and we will see the RV when the date hits. I am hoping the date is this week, or, at the worst, by the end of November.

Let’s start with Iraq... we find out tomorrow afternoon [Wednesday] Iraq time...4:30pm to 4:45pm Baghdad time that is 8:30 am to 8:45am Eastern Time things are supposed to be released as far as Iraq is concerned.  They may put it out in the Gazette. They may do the Gazette thing which is great, but we are looking for them to release the ATMS with the lower Denoms and also put out a rate on the CBI. There are things that they have held back until we are ready to go...That is something that is supposed to happen tomorrow [Wednesday].

Or maybe it's the difference in the English language?]   It appears that the CBI Acting-Governor Alak "might" be under official investigation for the disappearance (and/or damage) of seven billion dinar...
