Allawi is on a date with «Sunday» to pass the government booth

US State Department Confirms Support For "A Prosperous, Stable And Democratic Iraq"
US Assistant Secretary of State for Near East Affairs David Schenker, on Tuesday, visited Baghdad to discuss relations between the United States and Iraq.
A statement on the US embassy in Baghdad said that Schenker, in his meetings with Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, President of the Republic Barham Salih, and Speaker of the House of Representatives Muhammad al-Halbousi, highlighted the importance of the relationship between the United States and Iraq and the continued cooperation to support a prosperous, stable and democratic Iraq.
The statement indicated that Schenker "condemned the ongoing attacks against peaceful demonstrators who exercise their democratic right to freedom of expression, including their demands for political and economic reform."

Economist: The delay in approving the budget hinders the work of the local and foreign investor

I believe the speed of what they are learning is accelerated at a very fast pace and the reason why is because Donald Trump is asking for this...I believe there has been a date that has been given by what I call the Fab 4 to the CBI and I believe in my strong opinion that the CBI has committed to said date. Allawi is really moving things forward...Today Monday he needed to submit the names for his cabinet. So he submitted 19 names and he mentioned three of the cabinet positions he doesn't have names for yet...this is because of some Kurdistan objection...but they are saying that the different blocks are agreeing on his picks...IMO if Allawi does it in his first go...I still have the opinion that a good time frame for this revaluation to happen is right around the second quarter. Allawi will stay the full term up to 2022 (2018-2022) ... WE have also confirmed this with the legal in Iraq...

The MP from the Parliamentary Bloc of Wisdom, Abbas Sayyed Sarrout, decided to determine an extraordinary session of the House of Representatives next Sunday to pass the cabinet formation of Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi.
"The parliament is currently on a legislative holiday; but according to information, there will be a call to hold a session next Sunday to vote on the ministerial formation of Allawi," he said in a press statement.
"The negotiations continue to persuade the Kurdish and Sunni parties to form the Allawi government," he said, noting that "there is a discrepancy in the positions of the Sunnis regarding this formation between supporters and opponents. As for the Kurds, they still believe that the electoral quotas should be from the choice of political forces, considering the constitutional entitlement."
He added that "the Iraqi rising street does not accept any partisan minister, and it is true that the Prime Minister-designate is Shiite, but the government is for all components of Iraq and interests are common."
The deputy of the al-Hikma bloc called on the Prime Minister-designate to "choose an independent government booth characterized by a balance in decisions and streamlined in the line of initiation that will be seen," adding that "the current stage is very dangerous and sensitive, we must put the interest of Iraq before our eyes and be a help to the taxpayer in these difficult days."
