Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi asked, on Sunday, that it is unreasonable for the government to remain committed and unable to achieve; Because there is no budget for not forming a government.

Al-Kazemi said in his speech during the inauguration of the Maysan investment station installed for the production of electric power: We are inaugurating the Maysan Electric Power Station, a station that produces up to 750 megawatts, and it is a qualitative addition to the national network for the transmission and provision of energy to all our governorates, and Maysan Governorate may be the first beneficiary, but it is supportive of the network. National Electric.

He added, "This station will use local gas from gas fields in Maysan Governorate, and this is a new qualitative development in the field of energy and electricity production, because it will contribute to reducing dependence on imported gas and electricity."

He continued, "Today we are opening this station, and in the past months we have opened the stations: Nasiriyah, Samarra, and Al-Muthanna, and soon we will open the Cruz station, as well as we are working on developing the Al-Anbar station. And benefit from the experiences of our youth in the Ministry of Electricity.”

He added, "This station and the stations that were opened in the recent past are compound stations that rely on two stages of work, and reduce energy waste, as well as contribute to reducing thermal emissions, and are environmentally friendly. The world has changed a lot and the issue of the environment has become a priority for work; That is why we changed the name of the Ministry of Electricity to the Ministry of Electricity and Alternative Energy, i.e.: environmentally friendly energy that is cheaper in cost and more appropriate to the developments of the times.

He added that "work is still underway in the Ministry of Electricity and within the government's plan on a new strategy that works to provide energy according to a set of conditions and conditions; to improve the electricity service throughout Iraq," noting that "we opened several stations, including this station, and we worked to The development of traditional plants to be compound plants that produce more electricity and consume less energy.”

And between "we have proceeded with the electrical interconnection project with various neighboring countries, and we are also working to benefit from this linkage, in order for Iraq to be a corridor for the transfer of energy between neighboring countries, and we have supported the energy sector by signing a series of contracts based on solar energy, and there are projects that we will lay the foundation stone for soon." And we will open it very soon, and we had a meeting yesterday in the Council of Ministers, and we studied the process of supporting electrical stations, as well as private generators, and we took a set of decisions to support generator owners, and reduce the suffering of citizens in the summer.”

And he noted, "You know the circumstances that this government went through, they were difficult, and they are two years old, including in 2020, we did not have a budget, and in the following year 2021 the budget was available, and now in 2022 there is no budget, so how can the government work and provide the best without Budget? Every year in which the budget is delayed, it leads to a delay of five to ten years in the provision of services.”

And he concluded by saying, “I repeat my thanks to all the cadres of the Ministry of Electricity, as well as the company investing in this project, and I wish you all the best, and I thank the effort that defied all the difficult circumstances of the Corona epidemic, budget conditions, and the collapse of oil prices; however, you succeeded in implementing this project; in order to Serving Iraq Thank you very much.

Ten bitter facts about work and economic atonement in Iraq? .. Emad Abdul Latif Salem

link

1- All Iraqis... are "economists", even if they do not "belong" to economics, and even if they do not read one correct and "useful" sentence in economics.

2- All Iraqi politicians... are "economists", and they can "judge" in the economy and its laws and provisions, whether that is by chance, or by necessity.

3- The economy in Iraq is not an applied “science”, and it is not even a “subject” that appeals to some science. They (with all their conceptual frameworks, mechanisms, policies, systems and systems, experiences and applications), are merely "views". When the “science” of economics (such as any “science” that investigates the political and societal behavior of peoples) becomes an “unconnected” set of viewpoints, everyone will become an “economist,” and economics will become the “profession” of the unprofessional (K. Exactly "teach" politics).

4- The politician uses the “economic concerns” of society to serve interests and orientations that are not necessarily economic. For the Iraqi politician, “reforming” the Iraqi economy is a means, not an end. The Iraqi economist does the same, unfortunately. The Iraqi economist is trying to keep up and “moderate” the Iraqi politician (and not the other way around), so he loses the two “walks.”

5- Being a white “crow” in the economy, this does not mean that “economic crows” are not (generally) black when they “crow” with politicians.

6- Iraqi politicians may disagree with each other to the point of killing.. but they agree, and stand united as a “solid structure” in the face of the economists who refuse to be “subordinate” to them. As for the Iraqi economists, they differ among themselves just because of the difference, even if they have no direct or indirect interests in this difference. From here comes their inability (and their lack of resourcefulness) to provide solutions and gain confidence, and from here comes their "humiliation against people". That is why when an Iraqi politician asks one of three Iraqi economists to have one opinion on a particular issue, they will give him six opinions (to vex each other), which makes him belittle them, and lie on his blessed neck, laughing so hard.

7- The economic concerns of the Iraqi citizen revolve around the “how” to live in the short term, not the “quality” of living in the “long term.” And when the “long term” comes, and the “hour of reckoning” comes for past economic mistakes, sins, and follies, then this “long term” has become a short term in turn. In accordance with this (individual - societal) understanding of the work of the economy and its role in people’s lives, the “political” dances over the wound, while the “economic” (professional, real, and authentic) cries out of the severity of the pain and the severity of the stab.

8- The economy in Iraq (with all its tools, policies, procedures and laws), is just a “recipe” to relieve the pain associated with a terminal illness, which is “spent” in the government’s “pharmacy.” And when the patient dies, the Iraqi citizen attacks the emergency doctor who is standing near the bed, and not the “specialized” doctor who inserted the first wrong injection into a vein.

9- The neighborhood singer sings about politics, so all the “victims” shout out to her “taqooqa”: God, Set..God. As for the neighborhood singer herself, she is stoned, even if she sang an authentic maqam in economics.

10- Economists do not change the condition of a people, until their politicians change what themselves.. All of them without exception (from the mountain to the sea, and from the plain to the desert). Otherwise, these politicians will continue to cook pebbles for the people in the “pots” of the economy, while some “valiant” economic experts go along with them for the sake of fleeting prestige and “false” status, and for the “rent of office,” which is nothing more than a “disgrace.” Personal and “family”, a pure “economic” shame, and a pure “personal” shame.. forever.. forever.

Governmental banks have been isolated from the world for 40 years: The vision of the “global” Minister of Finance is not suitable for Iraq.. and the country needs a “new economic doctrine”

Perhaps the failure of the banking sector in Iraq can be described as a “non-independent event,” not stemming from the mismanagement of this sector alone, but rather directly related to the failure, confusion and chaos of the Iraqi economy in general, which is described, according to specialists, as “it does not belong to any economic school in the world.”

The failure of the banking sector is not hidden from everyone, even from the Minister of Finance, who acknowledged the need for government banks for a comprehensive restructuring. He described government banks as “isolated from the world for 40 years,” a recognition that coincides with the opinions of experts in the Iraqi banking sector, whose role is limited to granting loans. And collecting revenue from interest, and these loans are often “harmful” as a result of their contribution to raising inflation.

Allawi said in a press conference that “the banking and financial sector is the most important pillar in the economy, not just the state’s resources, and diversifying the economy is an urgent necessity,” noting that “the banking sector has grown in terms of deposits and loans, but the ratios between the public and private banking sector are still the same 75% of the Deposits are in government banks.

He considered that "reform of government banks is a vital issue and an essential part of transforming the economy from rentier to diversified," noting that "companies outside the oil sector cost the state billions of dollars."

He added, "We worked with experts to reform the internal system of Rafidain and Al-Rasheed banks," noting that "government banks have been isolated from the world for 40 years."

Specialists and experts believe that government banks' acquisition of deposits is not the responsibility of government banks, and they did not impose it. Hybrid neither capital nor socialist.

A former inspector general in the Ministries of Transport and Industry, Caesar Al-Nouri, said in a clarification that “Yes Iraq” followed, that “the acquisition mentioned by the Minister of Finance is not a result of government measures or arbitrariness from them, whether through legislative and legal packages, but rather based on the confidence and desire of the customer to deal with government banks.” After it was proven to the citizen and the moral customer that 90%,, of the private sector banks are not solid due to their dependence on partisan parties or political figures that practice manipulation and evasion, including banks that have declared bankruptcy and were placed under the custody of the Central Bank. The private sector led to calamities and the loss of their savings and the collapse of their economic conditions, whether because of international sanctions that affected private (private) banks, or because of their bankruptcy or manipulation of their balances and farewells. Iraq.”

Al-Nouri considered that “before the events of Ukraine, the Minister of Finance made a statement about the future of energy and oil, and he was speaking on behalf of an oil-importing country, not a producer. Global demand and a political system represent an environment for the acquisition, nibbling and looting of the state’s resources by law and the political custom of quotas. We cannot work and think in fragmentation to develop a specific plan and policy. There is no integration, coordination, a unified customs and tax system, nor a unified border port system, and we work with a contradictory duality between the laws of product protection, consumer protection and prevention The monopoly, and between the party’s important authority over the ministries that have a nature related to economic and food security, which issue a decision banning import and limit import to the party’s economic authority, or open import to blackmail local producers.

As well as the culture of most of the private sector, which works laziness and dependence to use government privileges and incentive packages with exemptions and support to carry out organized smuggling of fuel, currency and foreign labor, according to Al-Nouri.

And he continued: “I do not ask for the cancellation of economic and strategic theories and financial advice, but I ask personalities known for their international experience to take into account that Iraq is an exceptional country that needs a hybrid system, so neither socialist nor capitalist theory is suitable for it at the present time and for the next two decades at least,” noting that “we have to To deal with the reality and the Iraqi environment and get out of the puddle of the theories of the Trade Fund or the World Bank because we need legislation, regulations, technology, social and political culture to begin the process of belonging to a new global economic doctrine, either like the American financial and economic system or the European Union countries or what is followed in China and Russia from the system Mixed economics.

Iraq: Will the Sadrist movement resort to the street card?

link

Accounts of personalities close to the leader of the Sadrist movement in Iraq,  Muqtada al-Sadr, hint at the  imminence of moving the street card that other political forces fear in the " coordinating framework " alliance , which includes parties and blocs allied to Iran.

Since yesterday, Friday, several signals have been issued from prominent leaders in the Sadrist movement and accounts close to al-Sadr, most notably Saleh Muhammad al-Iraqi, known as "Minister al-Sadr", who spoke that al-Sadr's withdrawal was not for the sake of "handing over Iraq to the corrupt and consensual," but rather "handing over." to the will and decision of the people.

On Friday, Al-Iraqi revealed new reasons that prompted the Sadrist movement to withdraw from the political process, and some of the "results" of it.

"Most of the Shiite political blocs offered them a candidate for prime minister, the son of their reference, and they rejected him," he wrote on Twitter, referring to (Jaafar Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr), the Iraqi ambassador in London and Muqtada al-Sadr's cousin.

He pointed out that one of the reasons and results of the Sadrist movement's withdrawal from the political process is "the embarrassment of opponents who protested against the elections because they are fraudulent," wondering, "Will they continue to form a government from fraudulent elections, so what is its legitimacy?"

For his part, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Ibrahim al-Jabri al-Moussawi, wrote today, Saturday, on " Facebook ": "Be fully prepared."

One of Sadr's prominent aides, Abu Duaa al-Issawi, launched the hashtag #Ready, in which hundreds of tweeters and accounts on social media participated, and they all talked about preparing to participate in protests or rallies in rejection of "quotas and partisan consensus", in the way the new government is formed by anti-Sadr forces.

Although Al-Sadr has not yet instructed to launch street protests, a member of the Sadrist movement told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed today, Saturday, that “resorting to protests is the most common method that Al-Sadr thinks of to announce a state of rejection of what is happening in the government formation mechanism, He said that he would not hand Iraq over to the corrupt, meaning that he took the political action by withdrawing from the political process, and it remains for his masses to announce this rejection of the protests.

The Sadrist member, who asked not to be named, stated that al-Sadr expected that the popular movements and activists would support him in his decision through rallies or protests rejecting the "consensual government" sought by the "coordinating framework" forces, stressing that "Al-Sadr's supporters are currently preparing for any decision. Al-Sadr is taking it, and the protests are the closest.”

For his part, political activist Ayham Rashad pointed out that "Al-Sadr now has nothing but protests to prevent the movement of the coordination framework to form the new government, or to return to political work again, but the last option is a coup against his decision to withdraw, and may expose him to alienation and astonishment by a number of people. belonging to his current.

Rashad said, in an interview with Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, that "the civil movement and the youth who participated in the October 2019 protests are not expected to participate in the Sadrist movement's demonstrations."

As for the political researcher Abdullah Al-Rikabi, he saw that “Al-Sadr is working to isolate the forces of the coordination framework from the Iraqis in every way. to popular protests under his leadership.

In his interview with Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, he added, "If the Sadrist protests erupt, they are supposed not to be temporary, but rather to be permanent , aiming at re-electing while strengthening the isolation of the coordinating framework forces and armed factions from Iraqi society."or his part, political activist Ayham Rashad pointed out that "Al-Sadr now has nothing but protests to prevent the movement of the coordination framework to form the new government, or to return to political work again, but the last option is a coup against his decision to withdraw, and may expose him to alienation and astonishment by a number of people. belonging to his current.

The coordination intends to nominate Jaafar al-Sadr to head the government. Will Jaafar agree and betray his cousin, or will he refuse, and extinguish the fire of sedition?      Again? hahaha

Informed sources close to the atmosphere of political negotiations say that the coordinating framework forces are trying to find a satisfactory way out for them and their audience, and also does not cause any provocation to the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, so these forces began to test multiple maneuvers, perhaps putting al-Sadr in Critical, especially with framework sources announcing the acceptance of most of the combined forces in this bloc by putting forward the name of Iraq's ambassador to Britain, Jaafar Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr, as a compromise between them and the current.

And the observer of political affairs, Ahmed Ali, indicated in an interview with (Iraq Today), that “this nomination, if the news that was received about it is true, will indeed be an “extraordinary” blow that will put Mr. Al-Sayyid and his opponents may not be extinguished, God forbid, and it may end and nullify the effects of what Al-Sadr intends to do, especially after his recent threat that Iraq will not be handed over to those he called the corrupt.

He pointed out that "this nomination will mean that the government will be a framework with my chest (QA) as Sadr expresses himself, and this is what curbs any ideas or attempts to overthrow this government or demonstrate against it in the street, as is rumored in the political corridors, that any framework government will confront al-Sadr with protests and sit-ins. Will he do that with his cousin, who is his first candidate for prime minister?

He stressed that "the framework's going to smart tactics, will mean the success of its mission in securing the position of the next government, but if the frameworks go to use the same previous mechanisms to produce a government that is unable to take any steps in the street, they announce the failure of their project early."

While the sources that spoke to (Iraq Today), indicated that “the internal discussions between the coordinating framework forces are still the biggest obstacle to the immaturity of the vision of dealing with the Sadrist problem, and therefore the opinions of the political forces are divided regarding this nomination, which Jaafar al-Sadr may reject under pressure from Ibn His uncle Muqtada al-Sadr, which means going to an alternative option that has not yet crystallized

Al-Sadr continues his anger at everyone, and hints at his Kurdish and Sunni ally: they betrayed the covenant and backed others!!

Salih Muhammad al-Iraqi, known as the "minister" of the Sadrist movement's leader Muqtada al-Sadr, revealed 10 new reasons that prompted the latter to withdraw from the political process.

Al-Iraqi said in a post on Facebook that “the reasons that prompted Al-Sadr to withdraw from the political process and what are the results against the opponents, I will mention to you some of them:

First: that most of the Shiite political blocs belonged to (Lal Al-Sadr), if not all of them.

We offered them a candidate for prime minister, the son of their reference and their martyr, and they rejected him.

Second: The politicians or their blocs whom al-Sadr was the leader thought well of... they betrayed him and entrusted to someone else.

Third: Some may be under the illusion that the decision to withdraw is to hand Iraq over to the corrupt and consensual.

Fourth: Our return to the elections after the withdrawal was for two important things: The first: normalization, and this has been criminalized, praise be to God.. The second: The criminalization of obscenity: (homosexuals) So let's see what they do?! Will they enact a new and detailed law, especially with the escalation of Western colonial pressures against its opponents!?

Fifth: The embarrassment of opponents who protested against the elections because they are rigged. Will they continue to form a government out of rigged elections?! What is its legitimacy!???!.. Will they agree with the normalizers and the Emiratis!?.. Will the missiles hit Anbar and Erbil?!.

Sixth: To expose those claiming to belong to the October Revolution?! .. Who was the decision to withdraw the leader al-Sadr from the political process as a withdrawal from the revolution, demonstrations, storming Anbar, and the like.. Some of them even turned the goal of the demonstrations into supporting the consensus government.

Seventh: If His Eminence persisted in his insistence on forming a majority government.. That would last for several months or more.. So what would the reaction of the blocs, the people and others would be!!?.. Perhaps this reminds us of the 8 months that His Eminence delayed the arrival of (the leader of necessity) To the prime minister's office.. so they blamed his Eminence and accused him of personal hostility and harming the people.

Eighth: Many thought that the demand for a majority government is a political struggle for power... We were never a student of power, but among you listened to lies... We belong to God and to Him we shall return.

Ninth: The withdrawal brought Shiite substitutes.. Will it be the beginning of the strength of the sect?!. Or is it the beginning of looting money and suspicious deals? Or will the Al-Dora refinery be stolen as the Baiji refinery was stolen before!??..

Tenth: The return of the current of the two martyrs Al-Sadr to the days of God Almighty and the correct approach, leaving the world and fighting over it.”

There is no second term for Al-Kazemi..a letter of "agreed" objection that closes the way for the Prime Minister

link

Today, Saturday, the coordination framework revealed an agreement .between the political forces regarding the position of the Prime Minister

The leader in the framework, Ali Al-Fatlawi, said in an exclusive statement to (Baghdad Today) that "the forces of the coordinating framework agreed to refuse Mustafa Al-Kazemi's assumption of a second term as prime minister during the next ".stage, and this matter is unanimously agreed upon within the framework

He added, "Al-Kazemi failed in many important files, but his government was a maker of many crises, especially economic and financial," noting that "Al-Kazemi's government witnessed a significant decline in the security file, and for this there is ".no justification for renewing the mandate for him

This was reported during the past months about the renewal of a second term for Al-Kazemi, especially after his recent visit to Saudi Arabia and Iran, while political circles and forces rejected the whole matter, stressing that Al-Kazemi failed a lot with many files, and his government was .unable to implement its government curriculum

The coordination framework renewed, earlier, its position rejecting the renewal of the current Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, for a second term, by assuming the .presidency of the next government This came in a comment by the leader in the framework, Ayed Al-Hilali, about AlKazemi’s scheduled visit to Iran in the coming hours, and its matter of renewing his .second term during the next stage Al-Hilali told (Baghdad Today), "The coordinating framework forces will not renew AlKazemi's second term, and this matter is agreed upon by all the framework forces," adding that "the framework does not have any pressure from any party, even the Iranian, and this is with the testimony of the leader of the Sadrist movement, .Muqtada." Sadr in his latest statement

He added, "Iran may not have any reservations about renewing Al-Kazemi's second term, but perhaps even support this matter, due to Al-Kazemi's closeness to the views between Tehran and Riyadh and between Tehran and the rest of the world and the disbursement of financial dues and other files," adding that "this matter does not mean The framework has something, and it is not possible to accept the renewal of the mandate, even if there is Iranian or other pressure on this file, even though it ”.does not exist until now
