Baghdad Allocates 50 IQD Billion for Implementing Article 140

ERBIL The Iraqi government has allocated 50 IQD billion from its 2019 budget bill for implementing the article 140 of the constitution, a Kurdish lawmaker said on Sunday.
Mariwan Nadir, a Kurdish MP in the Iraqi Parliament, said in a statement that the allocation is "a good sign" as the federal government has not paid any significant attention to this article in the past few years.
Article 140 of the Iraqi constitution is to normalize the situation in the disputed Kurdish areas
However, Nadir pointed out that the implementation of the article, which is meant to compensate the people affected by the former Iraqi Baath regime in the disputed territories, would cost about 420 IQD billion.
"But only 50 [IQD] billion have been allocated and that would result in a delay in the process [of compensation]," the Kurdish MP said.

Warned against Tehran's plans Stevenson: Iranian assassination teams to impose their interventions in Iraq

07/1/2019

Struan Stevenson, a former member of the European Parliament, warned that Iran's attempts to control Iraq could include death squads, in an article in the British newspaper Scotsman.
Since May, efforts to form a government have been hampered by accusations that the prime minister is backing away from an independent technocrat government he had previously promised, the article said, adding that the main problem in the differences over the new ministers was Faleh al-Fayyad as interior minister.
The man was the security adviser to former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and was the mastermind of military attacks on refugees from the opposition Mujahedin-e Khalq in the Ashraf and Liberti camps, killing 168 men and women and wounding 1,700 others.
As a result of his record of atrocities, Spanish authorities accused him of war crimes against humanity, limiting his ability to travel to Europe. As expected, Maliki refused to reject his appointment, and support the pro-Iranian blocs in the House of Representatives. According to reports, Fayadh is working for the Iranian regime. He led the Iranian popular militia during the fighting against Da'ash, contributed to the genocide and oversaw the destruction of cities such as Fallujah, Ramadi and Mosul.
After the Iranians gathered for Fayyad, the regime now sent the commander of the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards on a diplomatic mission to Iraq to press for his appointment. According to British security officials in Baghdad, Soleimani directed assassination squads to target critics of the Iranian regime or its opponents. The article says: The Iranian intervention in Iraq has cost the country a lot.

Iraq reveals its forecast for oil prices through 2019

Editorial Date: 2019/1/7 9:44  298 times read

(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) Minister of Oil, Thamer Ghadhban, predicted a reduction in stocks, supply and surplus of crude during the first and second quarters of the current year 2019.
Al-Ghadhban reiterated in a press statement that Iraq is committed to what was agreed at the last OPEC conference, which was directed mainly to stop the collapse of global oil prices, noting that Iraq had a positive, effective and wise role of the organization and its partners from outside in the event of the reduction of Million and 200 thousand barrels per day and from the first of this month for a period of six months.
He added that "oil prices could have collapsed to below $ 40 a barrel in the event of no agreement on the reduction, in addition to other reasons contributed to the decline in oil prices related to demand and global economic growth and the existence of other alternatives contending crude production growth outside the OPEC countries, The United States and Russia, as well as other political factors. "
Al-Ghadhban pointed out that as a specialist in the field of oil, he is moving away from forecasts of world oil prices being volatile and witnessing sharp changes. However, reducing the volume of production would draw most of the surplus of oil in the world markets. He expected that the first two chapters of this year will witness a shortage of storage and surplus supply. And then will see prices increase, suggesting that the third quarter may see a lack of supply, which requires the (OPEC) to intervene, but said that this is an early thing to talk about.
He pointed out that Iraq, while the prices of global oil is fair for both producer and consumer, but the extrapolations of research bodies in OPEC talk about prices between 60-80 dollars per barrel and another talk about prices ranging between 70 - 80 as the prices of a fair barrel of oil globally, noting that some imagine The price of $ 80 per barrel will stimulate the production of rock oil. "
"The increases that have occurred in recent years in the United States of America came from this kind of oil, and the countries that have reserves of this kind of oil will encourage them to produce it and therefore will compete with the producing countries themselves and therefore must prevail wisdom, rationality and balance In global oil prices fair to all. Kurdistan Region does not celebrate the Iraqi Army Day!

[Where - Continue]
Some Iraqi citizens were angered when they learned that the provinces of the Kurdistan region of Iraq do not officially celebrate the Iraqi Army Day, which marks the 98th anniversary of its establishment.
Although the Kurdistan Region is bound by the Iraqi laws and events, it did not celebrate the army's day, as the official working hours continued in the provinces of Erbil, Dohuk, Sulaymaniyah and Halabja.
Some of the sons of the Kurdish component, the Iraqi army, are a tool used to suppress them in the last century when Kurdish insurgents "rebelled" against Iraqi regimes, though thousands of Iraqi Kurds sacrificed their lives while serving in the army.
As the Iraqi government disrupted official time on the occasion of the Army Day, life continued and normal in the Kurdish region, which did not show the features of the celebration or congratulations by politicians or leaders.

Speech of the Prime Minister and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Adel Abdul Mahdi on the occasion of the 89th anniversary of the establishment of the Iraqi army

In the name of of Allah the Merciful

It is entrusted to us and we use

Spare fighters
In the brave army of Iraq
In all its forms and configurations
O you who are fed up with the homeland
And the victors in the concessions
You are the Iraqis and the Iraqis
And the custodians of the covenant
And you are the army of victory
And the Army of Reconstruction and Progress

O sons of our honorable people

Another day of the days of the timeless Iraqis we celebrate today is the anniversary of the founding of the brave Iraqi army, who stand together in honor of his victories, sacrifices, martyrs and wounded,
Today, I extend to you all the best congratulations and congratulations.

The Iraqi army has witnessed serious challenges in all the covenants, and this old army resisted attempts to subjugate it to the political agendas and the pursuit of the dictatorial regime to control and control it. The Iraqi army has faced serious challenges in all the covenants. And turned it into a tool of repression, the army in this way paid a high price and mingled with the blood of the rest of the Iraqi people, who rejected injustice and tyranny, and will remain this great army for all Iraqis, tolerant and aware that the protector of diversity and coexistence and peace And the recognition of the other, under the roof of our great house, under the roof of the Constitution, under the roof of Iraq dear.

The Iraqi army has succeeded in the defense and liberation mission and has done great damage in the war on terrorism, repression and genocide. Alongside this difficult task, it has the duty to maintain security and stability. It will be only an army to defend Iraq and the interests of its people committed to its national constitutional mission. The strong and the able.
Our army has also succeeded in restoring the confidence of the people when they have maintained their national belonging and made it the sole criterion for cooperation with citizens in all governorates, especially the provinces where the task of liberation and victory has been successfully completed. Today we witness the finest cooperation and harmony between the members of our armed forces and the citizens. They humiliate serious tasks and overcome difficulties.

Iraqis everywhere:

The most important success achieved by our armed forces is the integration and harmony between its types and formations. When the popular and tribal crowd stood up to the army and police forces, and when the Peshmerga forces stood side by side with the army against the terrorist gang. When the anti-terror force advanced with determination in all confrontations, As one of the images of national unity and as a bright spot in the way of building a new Iraq.

On this occasion, which is dear to the heart of every Iraqi, we call on behalf of our armed forces two messages:

The first of the Iraqis ... that this army is your army and your strong arm is the glory and honor of this country, and that the members of this army and all the types of our armed forces and their formations are your sons who stood and are still standing and facing terrorism and every aggressor on our land and break his tyrannical will and defeat him the evil defeat. He was with you and will remain with you and will not let you down one day and will perform his national and constitutional duty with all honor, sincerity and professionalism, the son of the people and the banner of the nation, and his martyrs and wounded, who sacrificed their lives and safety only to keep Iraq free and sovereign. The stability and return of every displaced person and displaced to his city and his home is reinforced.

And that the Iraqi army, which made the victory and defeated a supporter will continue to chase him inside the country and prevent him from exploiting the gaps on the border and the regional and international repercussions for the restructuring and criminal activities, and our great army will participate actively in the reconstruction of Iraq and will harness all his experiences and human and material and engineering potential in the construction process, Both in the liberated and affected governorates, and in those whose sons have been granted liberation, where development and reconstruction opportunities have been delayed.

In the process of construction and reconstruction, our army and armed forces in all their forms and formations of local and federal army and police, and popular and tribal mobilization and Peshmerga will be actively involved ...

And the unity of the army and the people we will win also in our fight against corruption and corrupts by the force of law and the will of our people and the determination of the State institutions and control mechanisms and the judiciary and the serious cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities, and support and care of the Supreme Religious Reference and references and distinguished religious scholars,

We will not allow the existence of weapons outside the control of the state, and we will not allow anyone to impose behavior or system or policy outside the law and public order.
Our second message is to the brothers of Iraq and its friends and neighbors that the strong and powerful Iraqi army is the guardian of national sovereignty and defender of the borders of the country and the first wall of resistance to prevent any aggression or transgression. At the same time, it will not be an army of aggression or repression against any people in the region.

We seek the stability of our people, the peoples of the region and the world. We look forward to an era of economic prosperity in which we pay attention to the interests of our peoples and to keep them away from wars and armed conflicts that have drained their youth, money and resources.
We aspire to a network of solid economic relations and the intertwining of interests in which the countries of the region become a magnet for investments and capital and major construction and reconstruction companies,
We have had to wage a war against our people and left hundreds of thousands of victims and unemployed. We must open a new and good page for our peoples to live and enjoy their wealth and rich resources, and not to remain a poor or poor city, and to eliminate unemployment by providing jobs for every human being. He wants to work and live a dignified decent life that provides a source of livelihood for himself and his family,
The wheel of reconstruction, if it moves quickly and cooperatively and in safe and stable conditions, will bear fruit in the near future.

Our vision for the importance of a strong and professional army stems from the army's consideration of guaranteeing the stability of the state and protecting its constitutional institutions in a way that helps to provide a suitable environment for building, reconstruction and the rule of law, thus achieving economic growth and prosperity, which is the nominal goal that we seek to achieve,

On the anniversary of the anniversary of our heroic army, I would like to extend my heartfelt greetings and blessings to the Almighty, who will be able to serve our people and achieve their aspirations for a stable and prosperous life.

Greetings to the martyrs of the martyrs, the wounded and their families, and especially the parents and mothers of the martyrs and their sons and daughters and their wives and loved ones,
It is our pledge to remain faithful to them and their families and work to ensure that their families live a dignified and satisfied life and that we continue to care for the wounded and provide them with the maximum possible care. This national and humanitarian duty, even if it is the responsibility of the government, We are grateful to all of us for their efforts to serve the families of the martyrs and the wounded. Whatever we have given, the martyrdom of the martyr and the wounded is the biggest and the most expensive.

We pledge our people to focus the efforts of the State and its resources to provide services and accelerate the completion of reconstruction projects and provide employment opportunities and stimulate the economy and diversify the sources of income, and move forward the implementation of the ministerial platform and the government program emanating from it according to the time indicated.

I renew to our honorable people and to our army the hero congratulations and blessings on his feast day,
May God ask the Almighty Almighty to strengthen our resolve and unite our words on the right and serve the interests of our people.
Each year, the Iraqi army and its armed forces are all in good shape.
And Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds .
Peace, mercy and blessings of God

Study: There are not many health benefits for sugar substitutes
2019/1/6 13:22
[Ayna-Follow]
A research review of industrial and natural sugar alternatives has not found strong evidence that it has many health benefits for the body, but has found no harm from its use.
The study, published by the British Medical Journal at the request of the World Health Organization, was aimed at developing guidelines for the use of sugar substitutes such as Aspartame and Stevia, according to Reuters.
"Unfortunately, we do not have enough data to fully assess the benefits and potential harms of sugar substitutes," said Joerg Mayerbell, chief researcher and director of the Institute of Medical Evidence at Freiburg University in Germany.
"Most of the studies in this regard are either small or concise."We need more and better research on this." Meyerbull and his colleagues collected research on the effect of sugar substitutes on important health aspects such as weight and blood sugar levels, and eventually settled on 56 studies, including 35 clinical trials.
Some small studies have shown that sugar substitutes may slightly improve BMI which measures weight for height as well as blood sugar.
Two studies showed a very slight improvement in blood sugar levels in the 174 participants when using sugar substitutes.
Dr. Aziz al-Khatib, a cardiologist at the Detroit Medical Center of Harper Hospital in Michigan, said:
"For the vast majority of people, there may be no health benefits for sugar substitutes, and those who consume excessive amounts of sugars, especially sugar-sweetened beverages, the use of a source of calorie-free desalination is the least harmful alternative to health."
"One of the best strategies for weight loss is drinking plenty of water," he said."One study has shown that switching from sugar-free drinks to water has helped women lose weight, and the consumption of these alternatives has overtaken a major obstacle to healthy eating, which is sugar addiction," he said in an e-mail.
