MP of the Kurdistan Democratic Party bloc, Mohammed Shaker, on Wednesday, that the Kurdistan region in the financial budget for the year 2019 amounted to 12.67%, indicating that the Kurdistan Government will commit to pay 250 thousand barrels of oil per day against the share of the region.
Shaker said in an interview for Alsumaria News, "The Kurdish forces wanted to pass the government's proposal on the budget in terms of the share of the region, but what was put forward from the proposal of the Parliamentary Finance Committee was also good and accepted by us and was moved and passed by the vote on the budget."
Shaker added that "the separation and isolation of salaries of regional staff and allocations of Peshmerga on political debates in the event of political differences in the future, is an important step was supported by all members of Parliament in various blocks."

He added that "the share of the province in the budget was fixed, which is 12.67%, and talk about the fact that it reached 20% is incorrect because the salaries of employees as part of the staff of Iraq and allocations of Peshmerga as part of the Iraqi defense system has nothing to do with the development allocations for the province or any province.

Abadi worried about "deals" paving the way for the return of the Peshmerga to Kirkuk
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - January 30 - Former Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi, the leader of the al-Nasr coalition, has expressed fears of concluding what he called political "deals" that could pave the way for the Peshmerga's return to Kirkuk.
Kirkuk is a disputed province between the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan region and is home to a mix of Turkmen, Kurds and Arabs.
The Information Office of Abadi, said in a statement on Wednesday, that "the latter met with the deputy Turkmen Front member of the House of Representatives for the province of Kirkuk, Mr. Hassan Tauran."
He added: "During the meeting discussed the overall political situation in the province of Kirkuk, and the importance of maintaining the stability of the province, and peaceful coexistence between its members of various components, and that services are provided to its people."
The statement quoted Abadi as saying that "Kirkuk will remain a city for peaceful coexistence, a miniature Iraq and stability is a safety valve for Iraq." Explaining his position on recent developments in Kirkuk, saying: "We will not allow any deals at the expense of security and stability."
Abadi was commenting on a decision recently issued by the current Iraqi Prime Minister, Adel Abdul Mahdi, to withdraw the anti-terrorism forces (elite army forces) from Kirkuk and the deployment of the Special Task Force associated with the Office of the Prime Minister.
Many believe that this step could pave the Peshmerga to Kirkuk, which is rejected by the Turkmen and Arab political forces in the province.
In October 2017, the federal government forces imposed control over the city of Kirkuk, the center of the province, after the withdrawal of the Peshmerga following the referendum on secession on September 25 of the same year. Finished (1)

BAGHDAD - January 30 - A federal police officer and three civilians were killed in two attacks in Kirkuk and Baghdad during the past 24 hours, according to security sources.

In the capital Baghdad, police captain Hatem al-Jabri said that "unidentified gunmen opened fire on machine guns on 3 civilians inside a popular cafe near the Tarmiyah bridge north of Baghdad, killing them immediately."
He added that the gunmen fled before the arrival of the security forces that transferred the bodies of the dead to the Department of Justice (Anatomy), and began a search campaign in the region.
Al-Jabri suggested that the attackers be armed "Daash", pointing out that the organization is launching attacks whenever it can.
Elements of the Da'ash organization continue to form sleeper cells, launching surprise attacks targeting mostly Iraqi security forces in the north and west of the country.
