The news agency highlighted the achievements achieved by the government of Adel Abdul Mahdi during the first 8 months of its life, using the press conferences of the Prime Minister, and informed government sources, in light of the challenges faced by the most important lack of completion of the ministerial cabin because of political differences that hit the political blocs:
1. Work for the first time in accordance with a ministerial platform and a clear government program with specific timetables and continuous follow-up. The government program was completed within 100 days as promised by the Prime Minister in the Ministerial Platform. Accurate and transparent performance reports will be either successful or unsuccessful, representing a significant shift in public sector planning and management.
2 - The arrival of electricity production more than (17,500 MW), and an average of more than (16 thousand megawatts), and was the same day last year up to (13 thousand megawatts), has passed production on Saturday, the barrier (18 thousand megawatts) ). Most of this increase was due to the qualitative shift in the management of the electricity file through the maintenance of existing equipment, rather than the purchase of new energy.
3. Rehabilitating tens of billions of dollars worth of projects, including 6 major hospitals (more than 400 beds each), which will be opened before the end of this year, adding more than 2,000 beds, For years.
4 - Receiving more than (2 million tons) of wheat so far (in addition to the receipt of barley) and last year, for the same period up to (750 thousand tons), and may reach this year to more than (4 million tons) 2 million tons). Production this year may reach the highest level in Iraq's history.
5 - to hand over the amounts of all wheat received from the farmers immediately, ie about (600 billion dinars so far) after the examination of samples, and will continue to pay until the completion, did not delay payment of dues of farmers, as happened in previous years, accumulated receivables and associated problems and corruption. In addition to other steps that will contribute to the development of the agricultural sector, serve the poor peasants, contain a lot of unemployment, reduce migration to cities, and deal directly with the real producers outside the corruption circles in the country.
6 - Adding areas of wheat storage (exceeded one million tons) using concrete blocks raised from the cities, and the cost is very simple.
7 - Iraq now has water reservoirs that have been careful not to waste even a little, may reach after the melting of snow (60 billion cubic meters), (and this may be enough for two years of health), which God has blessed us this year because of the rains, But also because of the successful and effective management with work day and night, so as to prevent flooding and dangers for citizens and cities and installations, including the response to the floodwaves from the Majnoon oil field.
8 - Identification of the sources of pollution of river water and start to treat it radically, with the measurement of the rates of pollution on a continuous basis, and the rates of pollution began to decline and this positively affects the lives of more than half of the Iraqi people.
80% of essential medicines (mainly cancer drugs) were available, which were missing and insufficiently available, less than 12% , and about 50% of the essential medicines needed were available. %% Are completely missing due to corruption and brokers, and all these essential medicines will be provided in the coming weeks.
10 - establish relations with neighboring countries and the international community in an unprecedented manner, which restored Iraq's international prestige, and became an important country in the region respected by all and take its opinion in solving the problems of other countries after the others meet to solve the problems of Iraq without consulting him. Today Iraq is moving in a balanced and confident way in minefields amidst regional conflicts, especially between Iran and America. With great harmony, cooperation and integration between the three presidencies.
11 - Remove barriers and stalemates from markets, interests and streets not only in Baghdad, but work everywhere, which has pleased people and launched interests and reduced the blackmail of controls and corruption, and others and removed bottlenecks can not be denied, and contributed significantly to change the impression of Iraq and attract investors and investments Which will provide great employment opportunities and represent a real economic solution.
12 - increase Iraq's reserves in the Central Bank to reach 67 billion dollars after falling to about 40 billion dollars. With the reduction of dependence on debt, but Iraq began to pay part of them.
13 - Preparation of the 2020 budget in a way that encircles corruption, and change it from the budget of failed items, to budget projects and performance, and has completed an important part of this project.
14 - Fighting the corruption system that produced the corrupt and will produce many of them in the future if not addressed from the roots, for example through the settlement of salaries, which completed 30% and will be completed by the end of the year 50% including members of the armed forces, Inspectors, and the nature of the investigation has changed in police stations, as well as in particular in the field of oil and currency auction, real estate and contractors.
15 - Unification of customs tariffs with the work to control the border crossings, which despite all the shortcomings, but a step has not found its way to apply for nearly three decades. And the removal of all the controls that have been marred by many corruption.
16 - Working hard and in great cooperation with the Council of Representatives to change the legislative system obstruction, including the abolition or amendment of the decisions of the Revolution Command Council dissolved. In addition to work on the enactment of many important structural laws such as the law of the Council of Ministers and ministries, the law of the Council of Reconstruction, and others.
17. The provision of about $ 100 million for the printing of books to be printed in the local printing press, governmental and private, while a monopoly was printed many of them abroad.
18 - address the subject of contracts and workers daily and work diligently on the termination of the file management of the positions of the Agency in all its complications accumulated in cooperation with the House of Representatives.
These and other achievements are very important in the early life of the government, in addition to taking structural reforms that need longer results.

Baghdad - Mawazine News
A member of the House of Representatives, Nasr al-Jubouri, on Sunday, calculated the number of women winners without "Kota" in the parliamentary elections on the share of men.
"The members of the House of Representatives are very angry about the presence of 22 female deputies who were counted in the elections with the votes they received without the quota, but this number was calculated on the quota of women in the House of Representatives, and replaced the men," Jubouri said.
"This led to a reduction in the number of women in the House of Representatives to 84 women after they were 105 female deputies," she said.
"The House of Representatives should not repeat the mistake that took place in the current session, and is keen to increase the number of women in the House of Representatives in accordance with the constitutional article, which stated that the number of women should not be less than 25 percent of the number of members of the House of Representatives."
The MP pointed out that "this situation led to a weakness in the voice of women in the House of Representatives, especially in the legislation that concerns women, as they can not break the number of nisaab or legislation to protect them from cases of violence or the establishment of discrimination."

Joseph Wainaina, 71, started farming coffee a year after Kenya gained independence. As a teenager, he loved to farm, and for years he enjoyed good returns. But recently, global coffee prices kept dropping, and coffee trees became expensive to maintain. “I want to cut down coffee

6-2-2019 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat Article: "SIEMENS HAS STARTED WORK ON CONTRACTS FOR THE FIRST PHASE OF IRAQ'S ELECTRICITY DEVELOPMENT IN IRAQ" We know that within the project to delete the zeros includes electronic banking. Oh -this means they need electricity….right? So can you see how having electricity 24/7 again throughout Iraq can only help in this process. Lets’ see you have the banks that need it for international transfers of funds, ATM machines need it, merchant shops for Point of Sale transactions need it, etc, etc,. So this is a really good this to push Iraq forward. Is this the hold up for the reinstatement? NO! But it can only help.
6-1-2019 Newshound Guru MilitiaMan Article: "Foreign exchange rates against the dollar for the period (1995-2018)" ...Notification they are ready to roll.. imo!
6-1-2019 Intel Guru RayRen98 Parliament voted on Thursday and passed the law that was passed by the financial committee last week relating directly to the rise of the currency exchange rate. This has not been made public yet. We are as of this moment expecting to see the release of the 100 dinar note anytime between now and the Jun 7th. This will conclude the release of the lower denoms and the start of the RV release shortly after.
6-1-2019 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat Sadr already told parliament a week ago to do something about it. Then we heard that this is planned to be fixed before the end of the current parliamentary session and that the PARLIAMENTARY FINANCE HAS COMPLEMENTED THE “FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT LAW”. This law is supposed to be the path to forcing the CBI to act upon the corruption in the currency auctions and move ahead with the project to delete the zeros (which we know will bring us the reinstatement and thus a significant increase in the value of the dinar) [post 2 of 2]
6-1-2019 Newshound Guru MilitiaMan I believe if one steps back an thinks about the totality of all these [articles] the CBI has provided today, one may take the view that they are clearly talking very loudly! They clearly want the people to understand what is happening. This is more escorting now that I can remember. Collectively with all we have before, us there are not hiding what is to come.. imo A good thing...

6-1-2019 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat Article: "IRAQI INDUSTRY DELIBERATELY KILLED BY CURRENCY AUCTIONS" Of course, we as investors all see it too so this news is not new to us. The important part if more and more people in high positions in parliament are frustrated too and see that the lack of reinstating the currency is killing any prospects for any real progress in Iraq. The delay is all due to corruption and nothing more. So over the last couple weeks we have had four (4) articles already on this topic so the pressure is building to do something about it. [post 1 of 2....stay tuned]

An armed faction threatens Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohamed Halboussi
2019/5/31 13:50
[Baghdad-where]
An armed faction sent a death threat letter to House Speaker Muhammad Halabousi because of his stance on the US-Iranian conflict.
The House's legal adviser Sabah al-Karbouli said in a press statement today that "Halabousi received a threatening message bearing the slogan (Hezbollah Brigades Iraq), and demanding a specific political position of the crisis between Washington and Tehran," according to Radio Sawa.
"The speaker of the parliament informed some political figures of the contents of this letter to verify it," he said.
Al-Arabiya television quoted unnamed sources as saying that "the threat message carrying the seal and logo of the Iraqi Hezbollah was delivered by intercepting the car of the Halbusi secretary on a street in Baghdad and asking him to hand over the letter personally to the Speaker of the House of Representatives."
No government or political position has yet been issued or a response from the armed faction accused of sending the threat to House Speaker Mohammed Halboussi.

A "dangerous" da'ja, revealed the location of al-Baghdadi and the Americans refrained from targeting him
2019/6/1 14:08
[Follow-up]
The former senior prisoner in Dahesh, or Sayyaf, plays a role in helping US intelligence track down a gang leader and urging Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi to help locate his hiding places. At times, he has located his exact location in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.
In a detention camp in Iraq's Kurdish city of Arbil, the British newspaper The Guardian conducted its first interview with Nasreen Asaad Ibrahim, known as Umm Sayaf, who is sentenced to death in Iraq and described as the most feared prisoner.
Umm Sayyaf was captured in 2015 in an operation by US special forces in the oil field of Deir al-Zour, where her husband, Fathi bin Aoun bin Gladi Murad of Tunisia, known as Abu Sayyaf, the oil minister in Dahesh and a close friend of Baghdadi, was killed.
Umm Sayyaf confirmed to the newspaper that she had met repeatedly with al-Baghdadi, because she was the wife of one of the organization's top officials.
Kurdish officials told the newspaper that Umm Sayyaf, 29, initially refused to cooperate with investigators, but in early 2016, after hours of questioning, began revealing to the CIA and Kurdish intelligence secret information Very sensitive "about the pundit and his leader. Her information is said to have helped in the hunt for al-Baghdadi.
Kurdish officials confirmed to the newspaper that in February 2016 they were about to arrest al-Baghdadi, where Umm Sayyaf revealed a house in Mosul believed to have been hiding there, but US officials decided not to target the house.
I told them from the prison, "I told them where the house was, I knew it was there because it was one of the houses for his stay, and one of the places I loved so much."
Baghdadi declared the "Caliphate" in large areas of Syria and Iraq in 2014. But he has not shown much since he began to advocate losing his control steadily. But he appeared last month for the first time in five years, admitting defeat to his group.
The Guardian says US and Kurdish intelligence have found in Umm Sayyaf an important source of information about Baghdadi. Umm Sayaf speculated that al-Baghdadi is now in Iraq, explaining that he always feels safe in this country, unlike Syria.
Murder and murder of Mueller.
The Guardian noted that the mother of Sayyaf was involved in brutal crimes, including the abduction of Yazidi women and girls and US relief worker Kayla Mueller, and their rape by Baghdadi and other leaders of Daash.
US aid worker Mueller was brought to her home in the eastern town of al-Shaddadi in September 2014, at about the same time, when Yazidi minority girls were abducted for use as a spy, Nisreen said.
She pointed out that she did not want to hold Mueller in her home.
"There was a different treatment for the IZM, there was a budget for her, pocket money to buy what she wanted from the store," she said. "She was a nice girl and I loved her, she was very respectful and I respected her ... One thing I would say is that she was very good at hiding her grief and pain."
Nasreen confirmed that she saw Mueller for the last time the end of 2014, when Baghdadi arrived from Iraq. "He took her with him in a simple Kia car he was driving and headed for Al-Rigga," she said.
Three months later, I saw a news report about Mueller's death.
Da'ash fighters claimed that Mueller, who was kidnapped in the Syrian city of Aleppo in August 2013, was killed in a coalition air strike in February 2015 and buried under the rubble. But US officials say the circumstances of her death are still unclear, and Muller was 26.
