Baghdad: The Exxon Mobil employees will start returning to the West Qurna 1 oil field on Sunday after the government agreed to step up security protection, officials in the oil sector said on Friday. The two senior officials said the first batch of returnees would be senior executives and engineers in the company's work, two weeks after Exxon Mobil withdrew its 60 or so foreign staff from the field and flown them to Dubai, days after the United States withdrew its non-essential staff from Its embassy in Baghdad. "As a practical exercise, we do not share details about the operational hiring of our facilities," Exxon spokeswoman Julie King said. An official said Exxon had asked for increased police and army security at work and residence sites, and said the Iraqi authorities had responded. Reuters reported that the company received letters of reassurance from the Ministry of Oil and Basra Oil Company. Exxon Mobil is the main contractor in a long-term agreement with the Iraqi Southern Oil Company to develop and rehabilitate the oil field and increase production. The production was not affected by the evacuation, and continued to operate normally under the supervision of Iraqi engineers, Iraqi officials said at the time, and production continued at about 440 thousand barrels per day.

On the other hand, MP Arshad Salihi criticized the statements made by the Kurdish parties, which called for the redeployment of the Peshmerga forces in Kirkuk, noting that this demand is completely rejected and called on everyone not to invest these terrorist events for political ends.
Salihi also announced that the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, Adel Abdul Mahdi, will be sent to send more federal forces to the province of Kirkuk to strengthen security and control the administrative borders of the province of Kirkuk.
Protests in Iran, Iraq burn Israel, US flags on 'Quds Day'
Iranian demonstrators burn a representation of the Israeli flag during their annual protest to mark Quds, or Jerusalem Day, in Tehran, Iran, Friday, May 31, 2019. TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - Iranians in the capital Tehran set fire to effigies of US President Donald Trump, while in the Iraqi capital, Iran-backed militiamen marched over a large Israeli flag as part of rallies Friday marking Quds, or Jerusalem Day.The annual protests come as the Trump administration tries to market its long-awaited Israeli-Palestinian peace plan.
Held each year on the last Friday of the Muslim holy fasting month of Ramadan, Iran has marked Qods Day since the start of its 1979 Islamic Revolution by the late Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.Al-Quds is the Arabic name for Jerusalem, and Iran says the day is an occasion to express support for the Palestinians.
Israel views Iran as its archenemy in the Mideast.Iran does not recognize Israel and supports the militant groups Hamas and Hezbollah.
This year's protests took place as the White House is promoting the June 25-26 meeting in the Gulf state of Bahrain as the first phase of its Mideast peace plan. That plan, which specifics have yet to be released, supposedly includes large-scale investment and infrastructure work in the Palestinian territories, much of it funded by wealthy Arab countries. The plan's political vision has not been outdone, but glimpses of the plan suggest it sidelines or ignores the longstanding goal of independence and has already been rejected by Palestinian leaders and much of the Arab world.
Palestinian leaders say they will not attend the summit in Bahrain.American officials say the Bahrain conference will not include the core political issues of the conflict: borders of a Palestinian state, the status of Jerusalem, the fate of Palestinian refugees or Israeli security demands.
As rallies began across the Iranian capital, demonstrators set fire to American and Israeli flags, as well as effigies of President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The rallies all headed to Tehran University, where the ceremony ended at Friday's noon prayers.Similar rallies took place in 950 cities and towns across the country.
Many high-ranking Iranian officials attending the rally in Tehran, including President Hassan Rouhani and Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif. Both men derided the Trump administration's so-called "Deal of the Century" peace plan, saying it would end in failure.
During the rally in Tehran, Zarif said: "It is unfortunate that some Arab leaders have this illusion that if they stand next to Netanyahu, they can reach their goals." The comments were carried by a Telegram channel affiliated with Iran's state TV.
Iran's semi-official Tasnim news agency said police in the western province of Kordestan had blocked a terrorist operation ahead of the Quds Day rally in Sanandaj city.Three alleged militants were arrested, although the report did not specify where they were captured or their affiliation.
In Iraq, hundreds of Shiite militiamen held a military parade on Palestine Street in central Baghdad, some of them setting fire to Israeli and US flags. "The people in our region and the world are harassed by Trump's and the United States' polices, which are trying to dominate the will of the people.Today, there is a broad rejection of Trump's decision to annex Jerusalem and consider it the capital of Israel, "said Moin al-Kazemi, leader of the Iranian-backed Badr movement.
The rally was organized by Iranian-backed militias collectively known as the Popular Mobilization Forces.Militiamen in uniform marched with yellow flags, accompanied by Iraqi federal police cars."We will pray in the polls," read some of the banners.
In the Syrian capital Damascus, a few hundred Syrians and Palestinians marked Quds Day by marching from the Hamidiyeh bazar in the old city to the landmark Umayyad Mosque, some of them shouting anti-Israel slogans and waving Syrian and Palestinian flags.
No to the deal of the century," a banner read."Our Palestinian people and the freemen of the Arab nation will thwart the deal of the century."
International oil prices fell more than 1 percent on Friday, heading for their biggest monthly drop since November as trade disputes widened and US crude output returned to record highs.
At 0639 GMT, futures for the nearest Brent crude contract were at $ 66.97 a barrel, down 90 cents, or 1.4 percent, from the close of the previous session. US crude futures for the day were $ 55.92 a barrel, down 67 cents, or 1.2 percent, from the latest settlement.Earlier, West Texas hit its lowest level since March 8 at $ 55.66 a barrel. The declines mean oil contracts are in their biggest monthly loss since last November. US President Donald Trump has stepped up global trade tensions by pledging tariffs on all goods coming from Mexico, raising concerns about economic growth and appetite for oil.
The trade dispute with Mexico joins the US-China trade war, which many analysts expect to spark a recession. "The economy is not doing well, at least according to bond and commodity traders," wrote Michael McCarthy, chief market strategist at CMC Markets Futures Brokerage in Australia. "These (price) movements point to deteriorating confidence in the outlook for global growth," he said. US production returns to record high Crude prices were also under pressure from a much lower than expected decline in US inventories and the return of US crude oil production to its record level of 12.3 million barrels per day. The US Energy Information Administration said crude inventories in the United States fell about 300 thousand barrels last week, to 476.49 million barrels. Much lower than the 900,000 bpd decline analysts had forecast in a Reuters poll and the US oil institute's 5.3 million barrel decline on Wednesday. US investment bank Jefferies said on Friday that Brent was down "due to the epic of the US-China trade war and US inventory increases with very little decline this week is not enough to create an impression in the market." Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia, the world's top oil exporter, increased its production in May, according to a Reuters survey, but not enough to offset the drop in Iranian exports, which collapsed following tougher US sanctions on Tehran. US special envoy to Iran, Brian Hawke, said on Thursday Washington would punish any country buying oil from Iran after the exemptions granted on May 2.

• When playing a child on electric vehicles, be sure to place it on the seat belt. If the car is not equipped with a seat belt, do not allow the child to use it and use another place to play.
• When a child is playing on a bicycle, he must wear a head helmet, which also includes a scooter. It is also preferable to wear knee and elbow protectors.
• It is common for children and teenagers to ride cars and motorcycles and carry out dangerous movements (Tvhit), and may lead to a car coup or collision lead to serious injury and fractures in the spine. Do not do this because it poses a danger to your life and the life of those around you.
