He added that there was negotiation between the two countries on the specific point of view, and Iraq has previously expressed its objection to the establishment of any unilateral construction by the Government of Kuwait, and the previous Iraqi action to send Kuwait letters to the United Nations dealing with its position in this regard.

Saadi presents a number of points to the Planning and Budget Committee of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly

Wednesday 04 September 2019

Baghdad / Al-Ghad Press:

Head of the Parliamentary Reform and Reconstruction Bloc, Sheikh Sabah al-Saadi, on Tuesday presented a number of points to the Planning and Budget Committee of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly.

Al-Saadi said in a statement received by Al-Ghad Press, "Mr. Chairman and members of the Planning and Budget Committee of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly respected, we congratulate you meeting in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq and we hope that your meeting to achieve its goals set under the policies of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, and it is worth to put here in your hands I hope the following will be taken into consideration by your heart and through you to the Secretariat of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly. "

First, he added: "The security challenges in the Middle East, especially Asia, and in the whole world are escalating in light of the growth of the policy of polarization of tension, which we mean to find areas of tension continuously and by various pretexts. Security stability in the countries of the region, the Middle East and Asia in particular, and this certainly leads to economic instability and achieve the development goals envisaged by the meetings of your committee and your Asian Parliamentary Assembly, and that the continued escalation of conflict over the spheres of influence in the Middle East has become a factor threatening not only economic stability but Lizzie This would require your APA to convene an emergency and urgent meeting to consider avoiding such damage (regional and international conflicts). ''

Secondly, "one of the most important factors that threaten the economic growth of the States parties to your esteemed society is (corruption) and we believe that corruption has become not a factor (national local demolition) for each individual country, but that corruption today has become an international system and a factor (global sabotage), He explained that corruption today has become a weapon used to sabotage countries and institutions and goes beyond the stage of being a means to make money from this person or that or this or that. "

He pointed out that "the biggest challenge facing economic development and the institutionalization of the States Parties to your esteemed Parliamentary Assembly is in the fight against corruption as an international rather than a domestic one, which calls for the conclusion of a treaty or convention for the States parties to your esteemed anti-corruption assembly that includes the following, that the crime of corruption (an international crime) shall be punished. Where they are, this requires deterrent punishments up to the death penalty according to the type of corruption crime, extradition of those wanted for crimes of domestic corruption that does not exceed the mother countries of these wanted persons to their countries and the absence of immunity for the perpetrator of corruption of any kind, and the establishment of an international tribunal "Corruption goes beyond the domestic context, as such crimes fall within the characterization of (corruption as an international crime), but not limited to (arms dealers)."

He called for "the disclosure of bank accounts and funds owned by persons accused of corruption, locally or internationally, (based on the above descriptions) and declassification," adding that "we believe that such measures can limit the growth of corruption phenomenon in its frightening and horrific form and character." International as well as domestic. "

"Finally, we repeat what we have called for earlier in the year to the need to pay attention to the creation of a major project in the Middle East, to reintegrate intellectual and societal whose task is to fight extremist thought and contribute to the reintegration of the intellectually and socially seduced in their countries by extremist terrorist groups such as ISIS, Al-Qaeda and their sisters. ".

"This contributes to the security and political stability of the region and thus contributes to the overall economic stability and development of the States Parties to your esteemed society," he said.

9-3-2019   Newshound Guru Kaperoni  [via xyz]   [what's the difference if the floating take an year to 1000%, which you call gradual vs 1000% in a month?]  technically there is no difference but the pace and rate is set by the CBI. I don't know if they could reduce the money supply that fast.  I think 6 months is realistic at a min.

9-3-2019   Intel Guru MarkZ   I am very excited about this week still...i think we are right on top of the GCR...Based on what I’m hearing this should be our week As far as 800 numbers...I feel we could see them tomorrow or Thursday at the latest…based on what we are hearing.  What we also hear from the Iraqi contacts they expect to see a new CBI Governor and a new rate by Thursday.  The rate they are expecting is $3.91 - $4.25...no one knows the exact time...We are all trying to figure this out based on news and sources .

9-3-2019
Newshound/Intel Guru RVAlready  We can see CBI educating people and preparing to release this. Progress is certainly being made...

9-3-2019   Newshound Guru Kaperoni    Several good articles...over the holiday weekend...
talks about the upcoming parliament session. Over 150 laws that need to be passed including Oil & Gas law.

9-3-2019   Newshound Guru Jeff
...there was an article from yesterday that told you that they still have roughly 150 laws they call the controversial laws that they have to get approved and get finalized and get implemented...
those 150 laws are post rate change laws...notice how they're hiding them from us and they're not telling us what all 150 are...but again it will happen after the rate change not before.

9-3-2019
Newshound Guru future  A lop is the last thing iraq wants to do...a lop shows weakness, screws over their own citizens and sends a bad signal to investors...iraq cares about whats in their own borders.  [an increase won't make them any richer, would it?]  they get the purcashing power and their lives back...we get rich...they care about their country and their citizens...iraq is filthy rich we are nothing to them...['we' are nothing, what 'we' hold.]  yep.    we will find out soon.  [but would you agree that we have been here before? expectng to find out
no they are bringing out the fils/coins...we havent had that.

9-3-2019
Newshound Guru Jeff    ...they delayed parliament by two weeks.  You know what they just told you guys They don't have a damn thing to do.  That's why they delayed this for 2 weeks.  They have nothing left to do What did I tell you 3 or 4 weeks ago We don't want to see them do anything.  And they just told you they don't have a damn thing to do.  That's why they've delayed it by two weeks.  You guys should be screaming with excitement right now...

9-3-2019   Intel Guru Frank26   ...the citizens are extremely excited and ready...The citizens have been shown by description.  By pictures.  By commercials about the ATM machines and MasterCards and the coins and the fill and so forth.  The New small category notes that will be replacing the 3 zero notes...because they have explained to them the process of the lifting of the 3 zeros.  All of this you have seen over and over and over gain...

9-3-2019   Newshound Guru MyLadies   ...I'm not suggesting anyone get rid of it or sell it or whatever, I am simply saying there will not be overnight millionaires, the currency has a value and when it is excepted internationally there will be a trade to be made and the current value will be leveraged at an institutional level and a private level for those holding enough...currently the dinar sits at 1190 if the value raises against the dollar to even 1130 1140 1150 that is a good day in the currency trading arena....   [post 2 of 2]

9-2-2019 Newshound Guru MyLadies In my opinion it's really just a common sense issue...Iraq is not in a vacuum and the biggest pill to swallow is the one where we finally have to admit to ourselves that we were just foolish and uneducated and gullible and dazzled by bull**** to think we would be millionaires overnight...Those who choose to accept what deleting the zeros...will be able to make a plan. Those that do not will be most likely jumping off bridges...I am not saying there is no money to be made with the dinar, and... [post 1 of 2....stay tuned]

Construction: Three ministers in the Mahdi government will be dismissed soon

0404-09-2019 09:13 AM

Baghdad / News
Three members of Prime Minister Adel Abdel Mahdi's cabinet will be sacked soon, a member of the building coalition Hussein Arab said.

Arabs said in an interview with "Al-Akhbariya", "We are supportive of the government as a cabinet cabin, but we are with any deputy, whatever his bloc, in the exercise of his control right to interrogate the ministers negligent in their work."

He added that "the agenda of the parliament includes the questioning of five ministers in the new legislative term, three of them will be fired for sure and the first is the Minister of Electricity Louay al-Khatib," noting that "the request to interrogate Khatib submitted by the mass of Siron."

He pointed out that "there is a great misleading in the Ministry of Electricity figures related to the production and distribution of energy, as there is a difference between these figures and the ground." Several MPs said five ministers would be questioned in the coming legislative term, in addition to Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi.

Ancient city Kemune emerges in northern Iraq berore sinking again.
A palace thousands of years old has emerged from the Mosul Dam in the Kurdish region of northern Iraq after water levels dropped because of drought.
The appearance of the ruins on the banks of the Tigris River triggered an archaeological dig, with a joint Kurdish and German team keen on surveying the treasures of the complex, known as Kemune.
The site of Kemune can be dated to the time of the Mittani Empire, and is estimated to be nearly 3,500 years old.
The Mittani Empire is one of the least-researched empires of the Ancient Near East.
It spanned from the eastern Mediterranean coast to the east of present-day northern Iraq.
Archaeologists first discovered Kemune in 2010, when water levels in the reservoir were low, but its recent emergence marked the first time excavation at the site became possible.
During their survey, the Kurdish-German team found an array of items, including large fired bricks which were used as floor slabs and remains of wall paintings in bright shades of red and blue.
Now, it is submerged again, with little clarity over when the site may reappear. For the moment, at least, the past has receded from view as the water level in the Mosul Dam rises again.

Isis rigs cows with explosives in failed attack on Iraqi forces

'Group has lost ability to recruit young people and would-be suicide bombers, instead they are using cattle'
9-3-2019

Isis militants reportedly rigged cows with explosives in an attack on Iraqi security forces, in what is thought to be the first time the group has weaponised cattle.
The two cows were strapped with explosives belts and were heading towards a military checkpoint in Diyala province when Iraqi soldiers opened fire and “blew them up”, according to a report on the Kurdish language Rudaw news website. One civilian was injured in the failed attack last week, according to the report.Local official Sadiq Husseini was quoted as saying that the incident "shows that the group has lost the ability to recruit young people and would-be suicide bombers, instead they are using cattle".
Isis has been rebuilding in Iraq following the loss of its caliphate.
Diyala province has seen a spate of attacks in recent months, despite ongoing military operations by the Iraqi security forces and the US-led coalition set up to defeat Isis.
