The Prime Minister leaves for Washington to complete the strategic dialogue file after the Eid

Political circles revealed that setting the date for the visit of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi and his accompanying delegation to the United States of America will be after the Eid holiday, suggesting that the visit to Washington will be on the tenth of August.
This visit comes as a continuation of the discussions of the first round of the Iraqi-American dialogue, which started on the eleventh of last June, after it examined the presence of American forces and the future of their presence on Iraqi soil.
Rahim Al-Aboudi, a member of the General Authority for the wisdom movement, speaks to (Al-Mada) that "the amendments that were made to the agenda of the Prime Minister's foreign visits are those who changed the dates of his visit to the United States of America and scheduled for this July," adding that "the health status of the King of Saudi Arabia Arrive on these dates and change the agenda of the prime minister's foreign meetings. "
The Iraqi-American strategic discussions started on the eleventh of June this year and focused on the presence of American forces on Iraqi soil and the future of their presence, and also discussed the economic and health aspects.
At the time, the governments of Iraq and the United States of America issued a joint statement after their negotiations, in which they said: "Based on the strategic agreement, the strategic dialogue was held through a video department represented by the Senior Undersecretary of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, Abdul Karim Hashem, and the delegation of the American government led by the Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs David Hale."
The statement added that the two countries recognized the enormous economic challenges facing Iraq in light of the two epidemics of Covid 19 and the decline in oil prices, and pointed to the need for Iraq to enact basic economic reforms.
The United States discussed the issue of providing economic advisers to work with the government of Iraq directly to help enhance international support for Iraqi reform efforts, including from international financial institutions related to firm plans for enacting basic economic reforms.
Al-Aboudi continues his speech that "the Iraqi negotiating team who will attend the next (strategic dialogue) session in Washington will be at a high level of advisers, ministers (foreign, financial, defense, interior, and electricity) and security leaders," noting that "Iraq hopes that there will be real action on the ground Head towards the middle and move away from the axes. "
And the strategic framework agreement was concluded in December 2008 between the administration of former US President George Bush and the then Iraqi Prime Minister, former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
At the same time, the SOFA security agreement for the status of forces regulating the position of US forces in Iraq has been concluded. Under it, it called on US forces to withdraw from Iraqi cities in June 2009 and withdraw completely from Iraq by December 2011.
Al-Aboudi added, believing that "setting the dates for the visit of the Iraqi delegation to Washington will be after the Eid holiday," adding that "the date of the visit will be on the tenth of next August, which is currently being prepared by the (Iraqi and American) sides."
In response to reporters' questions in the past few days, a US State Department spokeswoman said, "We are in contact with our Iraqi partners about the date of the next meeting," adding that "the meeting will be face to face, here in Washington, and it will be at a specific time later this summer."
The State Department spokeswoman expressed the satisfaction and conviction of the United States at the previous meeting, saying, "We were very pleased with the virtual strategic dialogue session with the Iraqi side. The dialogue surrounded the wide range of our common interests, which included our partnership with Iraq in the economic, security, political and cultural aspect."
"What has been discussed is within the context of previous discussions based on the Strategic Framework Agreement with Iraq in 2008," the spokeswoman said.
For his part, Mohammed Al-Baldawi, a representative of the Sadiqun bloc, believes that "the United States of America intends to delay the second stage of the strategic dialogue to take advantage of the time to keep its forces in Iraq for a longer period."
Al-Baldawi said in a press statement that the features of the American-Iraqi dialogue are not clear and have not been revealed so far, pointing out that the Iraqi delegation did not present any conditions, but only listened to the conditions of the other side.
He added that "Washington deliberately delayed the second phase of the strategic dialogue to take advantage of time for the survival of the American forces in Iraq," noting that "the dialogue needs multiple stages and will not resolve the survival and exit of US forces during the second dialogue."
For his part, the example of Al-Alusi, a former deputy and independent politician, sees that "the American administration understands that the Al-Kazemi government is two months old, and that it also understands that Iran and its related groups want to push the current government into differences and a questionable position within the United States of America," noting that " The American analyst understands that what is happening here is the result of Iranian interference, and his insistence on the failure of the Iraqi-American relationship.
Al-Alousi added in an interview with (Al-Mada) "I warned earlier that there will be an impression within the United States of America that this government is an Iranian administration in order to manipulate the Iraqi-American relationship. I also warned of the great media intimidation in raising Iraqi and Iranian exports to 20 billion dollars. "
He continues, "This in itself contains Iranian attempts to thwart the Iraqi visit to Washington and an attempt to thwart this government and isolate it from the world and the region and exclusively with it," believing that "the postponement of the Washington visit was a result of the existing confusion and lack of clarity."
And the independent politician added, "There is no government that welcomes it and has moderate positions on Iran, and the moderate on Iran means protecting Iranian influence, and this is unacceptable to the western world," expecting that "Al-Kazimi's visit to Washington during the coming period."
It shows, "Whenever the government resolves the files of reform, corruption and disarmament, it will receive great welcome and large open doors in the world, the most important of which are funding for the Iraqi budget, protecting the salaries of employees, as well as energy in Iraq, supporting the armed forces in combating ISIS, and imposing logical and scientific interests in universities."

Nouri Al-Maliki: Why is it surprising that the ministers visited us, which comes to exchange information, listen to us and listen to them, as we have ?experience in governance
Al-Maliki: The visits are in order to benefit from us and benefit from them, given that the state is interdependent and every government and every minister is complementary to the other
Al-Maliki: There is a phenomenon that must be eliminated, which is that the subsequent Prime Minister cancels all decisions of the former Prime Minister, .as well as the Minister, Deputy, and Director General, and this is a mistake
Al-Maliki: Countries are not built with a single timeline, limited to four years, especially if the country is complex Al-Maliki: I have no authority or authority over the current ministers and their authority and authority over the current prime minister

Al-Maliki: The first country I went to after I assumed responsibility is Saudi Arabia and I expected to freeze sectarian and political conflict, but we did not succeed
Al-Maliki: The problem with Saudi Arabia is sectarian, and they have a vision that Baghdad is the capital of the Abbasid caliphate and cannot be ruled by the Shiites
Al-Maliki: The problem with Saudi Arabia is that it wants to summarize the Arab decision as Gamal Abdel Nasser was, but it is not eligible
Al-Maliki: Saudi Arabia is still interfering in the affairs of the region, as is happening in Yemen, Syria, Lebanon and the rest of the region
Al-Maliki: We hope that this government succeeds in calming the atmosphere between us and Saudi Arabia, but that will not happen because its .demands are inconsistent with Iraq and its interests
Al-Maliki: I cannot judge the cancellation of Al-Kazimi's visit to Saudi Arabia, whether it is based on a situation or because of the king's illness Al-Maliki: Iraq will not settle and recover if it walks in the orbit of a country in the region and the world

Al-Maliki: We cannot tolerate anyone who wants to cancel or bring down the crowd
Al-Maliki: I express my strong rejection of the behavior of the American forces and their targeting of the leaders of the martyr crowd, the engineer and Hajj Soleimani, and hitting his headquarters
Al-Maliki: I don't think there will be a prime minister who informs that there will be targeting the crowd and he agrees to that
Al-Maliki: The US forces will remain in Iraq on a hot plate Al-Maliki: No one can cancel the crowd for a handful of aid, and whoever thinks of that is putting the state at risk
Al-Maliki: I have not interfered in the issue of the confrontation between the anti-terrorist agency and the crowd
Al-Maliki: I informed the Prime Minister of the need to summon and understand the Hashd fighters on this issue that sparked the crisis
Al-Maliki: We do not want Iraq to remain an arena for assassinations and kidnappings, which is a very dangerous phenomenon and must be firmly faced by the government
Al-Maliki: The government can protect the elections because it has enough forces and armament and is able to protect them
Al-Maliki: Delving into the issue of electricity has troublesome details and I do not understand why electricity is so low
Al-Maliki: I doubt that there will be sabotage political wills on the issue of electricity in Iraq, but there may be external wills
