8-28-2019 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat Article: "THE PARLIAMENTARY FINANCE COMMITTEE, ON MONDAY, ANNOUNCED A TREND TO RE-WORK IN THE CURRENCY AND THE REMOVAL OF ZEROS FROM BANKNOTES, IN ORDER TO STRENGTHEN THE ECONOMY" I especially like the heading of the article. This process is now on the way. Hold tight…its coming…
8-27-219 Intel Guru Frank26 ...the Central Bank of Iraq has made an announcement that they're in the the process of deleting the three zeros from their exchange rate to add value to their currency to give their citizens purchasing power within their own country at a 1 to 1 peg to the American dollar...there is no date...it's speculative...there is no maturity rate either...
8-27-2019 Intel Guru MarkZ [When will the reset be announced?] I believe it will be announced several days after we exchange...for security... years ago the reset was set up to go over a 3 day weekend…now with the speed of the QFS I believe it can go worldwide within seconds…so I do not think the 3 day weekend is as necessary to the reset as it used to be…
8-27-2019 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Iraq would never introduce coins with a currency that has 3 zeros. The zeros need to be removed first. There's only two ways to do this, either float the dinar and allow the currency to appreciate. Or redenominate/Lop and remove them all at once which is a neutral event. I assure you...talkin about some mythical RV/RI will never happen because there's too much currency in circulation. If the CBI follows the plan that changed back in 2012 which called for a market economy, we could see the dinar float rather than this LOP. Gradually appreciating in value overtime per the IMF and documented in the 2012 Article IV Consultation.
8-27-2019 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat The news for our investment could not get any better. It is moving along just as I said it would when they were ready. They are now ready. So far the educational process is right on target. In fact I am surprised the have ramped it up so much. Multiple articles every week now. Along with the increase in news articles we are now also see repeated replays of broadcast on the Iraqi TV stations about the coins and the project to delete the zeros. WOW! ...Did you buy your champagne yet?
8-27-2019 Intel Guru RayRen98 Article quotes: "The change of currency means that a new currency will replace an old currency, with a fixed exchange rate, and the zeros of the old currency will be removed or the decimal selections are removed to the left," he said, adding that "part of the currency restructuring plan and banks includes the creation of coins for trades."; "The Central Bank decided earlier to develop a plan to develop coins as part of the currency restructuring plan, which requires the approval of the House of Representatives as a strategic plan that will support the value of the Iraqi dinar in trading," This is one of the "latest" articles about the coins...this is all you need to know about the RV. Be sure to send it to [those] that are telling you it’s going to be a float.
8-27-2019 Intel Guru Eagleone2025 MY SOURCES HAVE SAID THAT WE ARE LOOKING STRONG IN SEPT. ...WH AND DC SOURCES HAVE SAID THE WINDOW IS SEPT. THEY STATED THAT THEY WANT IT DONE BY OCT. I CAN TELL U THAT THE SEPT OCT WINDOW IS VERY POSITIVE... KEEP YOUR HEAD UP AS I SAID IN JULY SEE U IN SEPT.
8-27-2019 Newshound Guru Dinar Investor - Jeff ...three week ago I told you...the best time to start reeducating the citizens...about the deletion of the zeros and the coins would be approximately 30 days out before the rate change. And notice how they started doing that around Monday of last week and they're still doing it...they can't do that too far out because the citizens are gonna forget that information...the best time to do it would be roughly 30 days out before changing the rate that way it stay fresh in their minds...
8-27-2019 Intel Guru MarkZ [via PDK] Isaac in Zurich can see the money in his account…(currencies and Historic bonds) ...it has a hold on it...he hopes to have access at any time on his currency... There are rumors of a new rate in-country possibly in Iraq...we are trying to verify this now...lots of articles out on the new coins...you can’t have coins without a new rate...does not make sense. My contacts at redemption centers are on a “heightened level”...
8-27-2019 Newshound Guru larrykn you guys are really freaking out over this Lop thing, that won't happen, they told us years ago what they had in mind and a lop was not it...they told us what they wanted to do. ...I really don't believe they will lop...
8-27-2019 Newshound Guru Adam Montana [Question from newbie - ...if they delete the zeroes, then 1,000,000 IQD becomes 1,000 IQD, and if it RVs at 1:1 then an original investment of $850 +/- for 1,000,000 IQD becomes worth $1,000?] More or less correct. That scenario is considered a lop, and is mostly a zero gain/loss scenario. If the 0's are removed from the exchange rate, it's a whole different ball game.
8-27-2019 Newshound Guru Kaperoni The odds are very high that they're going to float as long as they continue to move forward developing a market economy, I also believe a LOP is unlikely but possible. An RV or RI has zero possibility because monetary policy does not work that way. [Truth is nobody knows if it is going to be float or RV, but we do know it is not a lop, that would have happened long ago...can you imagine the investors having confidence if they lopped] I surely cannot say with absolute certainty, but I do know for a fact in 2012 the plan was to float the currency.

The rule of law criticizes the weakness of the government and emphasizes the importance of the joint operations command in the hands of Iraq and not the US
2019/8/27 17:00 ]
[Baghdad-Where]
State of Law Coalition MP Abdul Hadi Saadawi said on Tuesday that the "weakness of the government" is the reason for the survival of foreign forces and targeting the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization, calling for summoning the US ambassador in Iraq and delivering a memorandum of protest, while pointing to the need to support air defense and to be the joint operations command Iraq, not the United States.
Saadawi said in a press statement, "The weakness of the government is the main reason for the survival of foreign forces on our territory, which is the same reason to target the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization," adding that "if we had a strong and determined prime minister and take positive decisions to remove all foreign forces as he did his predecessors when they pulled out the troops The US did not allow any American troops to remain inside our territories, and the sovereignty of Iraq will be restored with great force.
"Supporting air defense and equipping our air force with advanced aircraft and radars can detect any air breach with a missile defense system that can deal aggressively with this breach," Saadawi said. It is not the United States that is important and necessary because the Iraqi airspace up to the moment is in the hands of the American side.

Iraqi interior ministry says Islamic State terrorist hotbed destroyed in Kirkuk
Aug 27, 2019, 11:18 am
Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) – The Iraqi Interior Ministry said on Tuesday that its forces destroyed a hotbed belonging to the Islamic State terrorist group in Kirkuk province.
“Acting on intelligence information, federal police forces destroyed a hideout of the Islamic State group in the village of Hashisha, south of Kirkuk province,” Iraqi news website Alghad Press quoted Maj. Gen. Saad Maan, the ministry spokesman, as saying in a press statement.
“The troops also seized a weapon depot at al-Nawafla village in Kirkuk, containing an Austrian-made mortar shell and two boxes full of powerful C4 explosives,” the spokesman added.
Iraq declared the collapse of Islamic State’s territorial influence in November 2017 with the recapture of Rawa, a city on Anbar’s western borders with Syria, which was the group’s last bastion in Iraq.
IS declared a self-styled “caliphate” in a third of Iraq and neighboring Syria in 2014. A government campaign, backed by a U.S.-led international coalition and paramilitary forces, was launched in 2016 to retake IS-held regions, managing to retake all havens, most notably the city of Mosul, the group’s previously proclaimed capital.

Aug 27, 2019, 3:14 pm
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The United Nations Security Council will hold a session on Wednesday afternoon to discuss the situation in Iraq.
The U session will be held on Wednesday at 3:00 pm (Baghdad local time), according to a statement by the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI).
UNAMI Head Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert is expected to brief the session on the latest developments in Iraq and the work of the UN mission, the statement read.
A drone targeted on Sunday two vehicles belonging to the 45th brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces south of al Qa’im district on the country’s border with Syria, leaving a paramilitary commander dead.
The U.S. military denied that it was behind the series of airstrikes on the weapons depots of the paramilitary Popular Mobilization Forces.
“U.S. forces did not conduct the recent attack on a convoy or any recent attacks that resulted in the explosion of ammunition storage facilities in Iraq,” Chief Pentagon Spokesperson for the Department of Defense Jonathan Rath Hoffmansaid said in a press statement.
“We support Iraqi sovereignty and have repeatedly spoken out against any potential actions by external actors inciting violence in Iraq.”
Iraq has been engulfed in political turmoil and sectarian violence since the Islamic State militant group controlled much of northern and western Iraq and proclaimed the creation of a “caliphate”.
