Iraq against Israel's presence in US Persian Gult Coalition
Baghdad, Aug 12, IRNA – Iraqi Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Al-Hakim in a message expressed opposition to Israel's participation in the US coalition in the Persian Gulf.
Iraq is against presence of the Zionist regime of Israel in any military forces aiming to safeguard the Persian Gulf, Ali Al-Hakim wrote on his Twitter account.
Iraq is trying to solve tensions in the region through negotiations and considers Western forces’ presence as increasing tensions, he added.
In line with Iranophobia policies, Americans are after creating a coalition in the Persian Gulf which will increase tensions in the region more than ever.
Many countries, including Japan, Germany, France and Spain have so far opposed joining the maritime coalition.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi described the possibility of Zionists’ presence in the Persian Gulf as blatant threat against Iran, saying fighting their presence is Iran’s right.
Mousavi said Iran believes that this coalition is provocative. He also noted that Iran regards any presence of the Zionist occupiers in this coalition that its illegitimate presence is cause of insecurity and instability in the Middle East as a vivid threat against its security, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He added that in the framework of Iran’s defensive policy, it will have no doubt and the US and the Israeli regime will be responsible for this dangerous act.
Referring to US attempts to create military coalition or holding maritime security meeting on the pretext of safeguarding shipping in the Persian Gulf, Mousavi said Iran as one of the Persian Gulf states, considers the Persian Gulf as part of its territory and believes that the presence of trans-regional forces in the Persian Gulf not only provides no aid to reinforce security in this region, but prepares the grounds for tensions and crisis in this sensitive area.
Iran expresses its opposition against creating such coalition and describes it as provocative and deceiving measure, he said, adding that creators of such coalition together with its members will be regarded as cause of tension in the region.
Head of the National Wisdom Movement of Iraq Seyyed Ammar Hakim praised Iranians for their resistance against foreign pressures.
Hakim expressed opposition against economic sanctions policy and depriving nations and appreciated the Iranian people for their patience.
He also warned against increasing regional conflicts which pave the way for emergence of terrorism and threatening regional peace and security.
The senior Iraqi cleric urged all regional forces to sit at the negotiation table, accept peaceful solution and to set aside war, destruction, extremism and hatred from the region.
Earlier in a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Ammar Hakim said that Iraq is closely monitoring cruel and unilateral sanctions against Iran.
Iraq has always supported Iran, he said slamming anti-Iran sanctions.
He described US imposition of unilateral sanctions as an unprecedented act in international interactions.
Referring to extended relations between two countries, he called for boosting relations in political, economic and cultural fields.
Head of Iraqi National Wisdom Movement went on to say that Iran's role in fighting Daesh terrorist group is undeniable.

8-12-2019 Newshound Guru larrykn [Anyone heard of an article from Union Bank of Iraq about salaries being deposited in the iraq citizens master cards...] ...everyone thinks because they are using the cards the rate change is here...its not. not till they go into Art 8 and change the rate at the CBI...they are not in Article 8 yet. they can put it on the card but until they change the rate it doesn't affect us...once they change the rate then you can get excited.[You can always see the official CBI rate and CBI market rate listed on the left side of this page...]
8-12-2019 Intel Guru Frank26 [Doodlebug report]...it seems that there's a change in the pattern in the halls of the CBI.You see the employee's conversations have started to include the new small category note denominations. They are talking about the ones the fives the 10 the 20 the 50s and the 100's. They are also talking about the size of the new small category notes they say that they will be the same size as the USD or maybe just a little larger. Again this is all just in their opinion...they are talking in specifics. They are also talking about the dangers of people being taken advantage of with these new notes...this is a worry for the CBI. It must not fail with the citizens...this is why the education is so important that they do not get ripped off with the new small category notes...

After the dreadful decline in its waters .. Dead Sea threatened to disappear
2019/8/12 12:09
[Follow-up]
Experts warned of the danger of falling the water level of the Dead Sea, to 34 meters, below sea level, hitting the lowest levels in history, which may pose a threat to its existence and its surroundings.
Widespread sandy beachfront areas were previously inundated but now dry.
The restaurants, which were directly overlooking the sea, became far from him and devoid of visitors. In recent years, large craters have begun to emerge in the Dead Sea. These craters have infiltrated additional seawater.
The Dead Sea is the deepest point on earth. It witnessed a decline in its 1980 level. Today the situation has worsened as the water level dropped by an additional 30 meters.
According to experts, the decline is due to human and natural factors, such as Israel's diversion of the Jordan River to the Negev desert in the south, which has reduced its seawater resources. In addition, the increase of salt and potash extraction plants on the shores of the sea, especially on the Israeli side, which contributed to the pumping of large quantities of sea water.
A natural factor is the fluctuation of rainfall, which has reduced the water that feeds the Dead Sea.The Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, is in danger of drought and possibly disappearing from maps by the middle of the century, according to forecasts.
The chairman of the Jordan Geologists Association, Sakher Nsour, said the Dead Sea is a "unique geological phenomenon that may disappear in the coming decades."
According to environmental reports, the water level of the Dead Sea is declining at a rate of one and a half years, and has shrunk by 35 percent, in four decades. The sea, which lies in the middle of the Jordan Valley, covers an area of about 550 km, with a maximum width of about 17 km, a length of 70 km, and is about 400 meters below sea level.
