Mosul to be liberated in week, PM Abadi orders celebration preparations: Sources

Mosul (IraqiNews.com) Military sources have said that liberation of Mosul will not last for more than one week to prevent battling in the city after June 10, which marks the day on which Mosul fell to hands of the Islamic State militants in 2014, reports mentioned.
News websites quoted sources as saying that Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi gave instructions to prepare for celebrations in the country after liberation of Mosul, which will be declared through him and not in military statements like what happened with other cities when freed from IS.
Elimination of IS militants in Mosul killed and injured more than 30,000 civilians, most of whom were women and children, over the past eight-month old battle, which started in October, the sources added. Hundreds of violations were recorded by local and foreign organizations. The total count of losses and destruction of more than eighty percent of the city was estimated to be more than US$50 billion.
Iraqi generals had earlier predicted recapturing the city in mid-May before start of the holy month of Ramadan, which began on Saturday.
Iraqi commanders say they at least 90 percent of territories in western Mosul is under Iraqi troops control, predicting to retake the city before the end of May. Only two districts besides the Old City are under IS control.
Iraqi forces have been sweeping through northwestern neighborhoods over the past few weeks in a way to invade the strategic Old City, after finding it hard to invade from the south.
The eastern side of Mosul was retaken in January after three months of battles. Another major offensive was launched in February to recapture the western flank of the city.

And apparently June 10th has some importance this is from a different article with the same title:

does it mean anything?  who knows?
I don't know how to get rid of that purple backgrund so here is what I like
Military sources revealed that the liberation of Mosul will not last longer than another week, and the goal of preventing the continuation of the organization in the fighting until the tenth of June, which falls on the day of the fall of Mosul in 2014,
and
The sources said in a press statement that Prime Minister Haider Abadi ordered the start of preparations for a broad celebration in the country with the announcement of the liberation of Mosul, which will be through his person, not in a military statement, as happened in the rest of the cities of the country, which was extracted from the organization 'da'ash' in previous times .

 The Euphrates -
Iraq will resume its negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) next Wednesday in the Jordanian capital Amman to discuss its credit cooperation agreement signed in 2015, an official source said.

The source said that an Iraqi delegation headed by Finance Minister Abdul Razzaq al-Issa will resume talks Wednesday with the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank on a credit cooperation agreement signed by Iraq in 2015 for a loan of 3 billion dollars at a rate of not more than 2%. Adding that the Iraqi delegation includes the Governor of the Central Bank Ali Alalak, the Prime Minister's Advisor for Financial Affairs appearance of Saleh, and officials in the ministries of oil and finance and planning.

The financial adviser to the Prime Minister, the appearance of Mohammed Saleh, described on April 24, 2017, the Iraqi talks with the International Monetary Fund positively, stressing that the international reserves of Iraq remains within the level of security, noting that the World Bank promised to support funding programs to improve infrastructure and reconstruction.
so that's it so far for the articles.

One thing to note a lady came in and gave a story about First Convenience Bank that is in Walmart's and they also go by First Federal of Texas that they now deal with the IQD  I like this because they were one of the last banks to stop selling it and the owners really supported the employees buying the IQD too.  So it's encouraging to me that they are again dealing with it even though there are none here in California hahaha

Also I came across this video today and I wanted to share it with you. I made my boys watch it too
