US Mercantilism Is Not Good For The Trade Deficit

Mercantilism is a relatively out of date economic theory which was popular in the 16th to 18th centuries. Long gone are the hyperinflation days in Brazil when supermarket workers patrolled the aisles with labeling guns, marking up prices more than once a day. But Brazilians can’t seem to forget. That may help explain why after the most recent inflation spike, brought on by unwinding of government controls and by food price shocks, Read the full story

CONFERENCE CALL FOR FRIDAY, May 12, 2017
Friday's conference call has been postponed until later in the evening, if warranted. Enjoy your weekend! #wearethepeople
Blogs:
Delta [ I...have to ask you about a meeting in Lebanon, the Iraqi Stock Exchange is raising its head out of the water...]
...the Iraqi Stock Exchange...they were supposed to go international in the NASDAQ...and in the last quarter of 2016 they were supposed to go international...but that didn’t work out for 2016, so they came out and said we are going to shoot for early 2017...but that didn’t work out because they are waiting on the rate...for Iraqi Stock Exchange to go international their currency has to be recognizable...Article VIII...and they have to come up with a true rate...so they have been in Lebanon for two days in conferences...we know they have the platform, software...again this is another confirmation they are waiting on one thing...which is the Currency Reform... ...from the WB, to the IMF, to LAUNCHING this or that, e-dinar, the CBI and whatever they are doing right now...nothing is going to work without the rate... Iraq is at a program rate...they have to have their purchasing power back...they have to have their wealth back...so all of this needs the rate...needs the Currency Reform...and that is why it is so significant now seeing everyone going towards that.
Frank26 Let me now go in the direction of...an article from an economist...this economist...is actually an advisor and goes to many of the seminars and meetings...and he knows the CBI plan...so his opinion about what they are doing with their Exchange Rate...how they need to INSTALL it as the article says...is strong confirmation IMO of what he is saying because it is in accord with the CBI, IMF, WB plans or projects...which is to lift the Exchange Rate...This article itself is also pointing to the investors of Iraq...we are lifting the restrictions on the Exchange Rate...we are liberating the Exchange Rate from a Program Rate...because Mosul is not an issue anymore...and I believe they have gone from the concept of liberating Mosul to the liberation of the Program Rate...so the investors can come in and rebuild through the infrastructure of Iraq...all of a sudden it looks like they put the locomotive engine of the Monetary Reform back on track...
Daz [We thought it was the US or Iraq holding it up, turns out the WB had to approve their readiness.]
...big difference between a "hold up" and a required "alignment of interests" WHEN A SATISFACTORY CONDITION AND ALIGNMENT OF ALL THE VARIOUS INTERESTS AND POWER STRUCTURES HAVE REACHED A POINT OF REASONABLE SATISFACTION THAT THEIR INTERESTS AND GOALS ARE MET... THEY WILL JUST AS SIMPLY... "TURN THE MONEY BACK ON".
"Tiers have Exchanged" - Intel from TNT BJ
Hi all. I just talked to my daughter on the west coast. She has a 40 yr old violin student who just told her about this RV being real. (she's a skeptic although we gave her some currency). He said that he expected to see her grinning big by now because people in tiers 1-3 have exchanged in the last 2 weeks. He thought tier 4 would be going by now. No, he didn't give rates.
"Bowser" - GCR/RV Intel SITREP - Friday - May 12, 2017
Received via email at 12:35 AM EDT for publication. ~ Dinar Chronicles
The new financial block chain algorithm is now tested, records transferred and all system tiers deemed whole and reconciled.
This means T4 sequencing has begun and ready for full public retail engagement.
Which means the Internet Currency Community release is forthcoming after markets close anytime on Friday, May 12.
It took 20 years to actually complete the RV starting back on September 10, 1996... and why some people have been waiting since the mid to late eighties.
No more sign offs or authorizations are needed. The global release is now set and everyone who must know the hard day and time already does, and is right now making the necessary final preparations for their country's blessing.
The very real threat of a world war instigating incident has been reduced to acceptable levels and/or eliminated.
Every nation is now on board with GESARA compliance terms per the UN, including Israel and Ukraine, the last two Zionist hold outs. They were hard core cats and extremely difficult to break, but break they did.
Annihilation makes cowards of us all.
The new financial system took twelve years to build and eighteen months to implement block by block, transfer segment by segment, and rehydrate account by account.
Hard to explain the miracles happening all around us in secrete. But they're happening. Truly historic stuff for the less than ten thousand Dinarland loyalists paying constant attention (down from five million).
All markets globally have been safely running with constant oversight control mechanisms that mathematically prevent fraud on this new cloud computing system, connected by a half dozen quantum satellites with an earth based HDQ somewhere in the mountains of China.
Also, these half dozen regional satellites create perpetual redundancy. And there's another half dozen back up satellites waiting to be launched should there be a problem or attack.
Take that cabal.
To understand the scope of changes we're now experiencing--there's not a code, account or wiring coordinate that has not been replaced and transferred onto the new quantum computing algorithm.
Meaning, every bank and account globally has traveled onto the new financial system.
No more hidden offshore accounts. No more tax evasion hideaways. No more funneling money to non-reporting corrupt banking domiciles or governments.
Every transaction is visible and known, and must pass through the same block chain algorithm in order to realize funding, from anywhere in the world to anywhere in the world.
Oh, and here is an interesting fact: The old financial system's digital history no longer physically exists anymore, even at the most basic back-of-the-bank digital level.
All past records of the old system have been both transferred and then destroyed. As if they never existed.
In context, this means the entire play WW2/Breton Woods financial architecture has been exterminated from the face of the earth.
Poof. Gone. Next!
Chew on that cabal.
Meaning the BIS, FED, ECB, IMF, WB and ADB exist in courtesy name only as not to scare the public and have been subtly replaced in significance by the AIIB.
So yes, our money is both safe and sound because there really is a new sheriff in town--who can zero out a non-complying individual, company, bank, military and country in literally the blink of an eye.
Wowser, Bowser! (Think Sha-Na-Na).
So victory has been achieved, and why even and NWO die hard such as Israel & Ukraine (lion) finally decided to lay down with the lamb (humanity).
All must surrender to God in order to move forward in this new era of light and love. No exceptions or exemptions. Sobeit.
God is with us.
"The Big Crunch" - ZAP Update - The Office of POOFness - 5.11.17
HI ALL,
WE GOT SHAFTED FOR THE LAST TIME. THE BANK DID NOT COMPLETE THE TRANSFERS AS THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO, AND THAT WAS THE LAST STRAW. THE GLOBAL BIG GUNS WERE CALLED IN. WITHIN AN HOUR THE BANK RESPONDED. THE LAWYERS ALSO CONFIRMED THAT ON LATEST MONDAY, THE FUNDS TRANSFERS WILL COMPLETE TO THE PAYMASTER. ALL WELL AND GOOD, BUT PERHAPS THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT A WEEK AGO?
THIS HAS PLACED ALL OF US IN CRITICAL SPOTS ON THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN AS THE FUNDS WERE TO BE IN OUR ACCOUNTS TODAY AND LATEST TOMORROW JUST IN TIME TO SAVE THESE SITUATIONS. WE PRAYED THAT WE WOULD SEE RELIEF AND IT WAS SNATCHED AWAY BY THE BANKSTERS – FOR THE MOMENT.
I AM IN FRONT OF YOU BUT I AM NOT STANDING VERY STRAIGHT. I AM HUNCHED OVER WITH SOME WEIGHT AND I AM MAKING SOME HARD DECISIONS ON WHAT TO DO, WHERE TO LIVE, AND HOW TO HELP. I AGONIZED OVER THIS MESSAGE, BUT HERE IT IS AND IT WILL BE THE LAST TIME. I WILL NEVER HAVE TO DO THIS AGAIN BECAUSE OF WHAT HAPPENED TODAY AT THE BANK, BUT RIGHT NOW I AM BESIDE MYSELF AND TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO KEEP THINGS ON AN EVEN KEEL. I AM VERY TIRED OF THE GAMES THESE GUYS PLAY THAT KILL PEOPLE.
WE HAVE A MASSIVE UNDERTAKING TO KEEP STABILITY FOR THE TEAM AND FOR SOME KIDS. THE REQUIREMENT IS LARGE TO MAKE IT ALL WORK AND HAVE EVERYBODY FED, UNDER A ROOF AND KEPT ALIVE, AND ESPECIALLY SIX KIDS THAT WILL BE ON THE STREET TOMORROW EVENING WHEN THE NICE SHERRIFF COMES KNOCKING TO ENFORCE THE EVICTION. ALL THE BURDENS THAT WERE TO BE SOLVED TODAY AND TOMORROW WILL ONLY BE TAKEN CARE OF ON MONDAY/TUESDAY NEXT, BUT WITHOUT THE RESOURCES RIGHT NOW I AM GRAVELY CONCERNED THAT THERE IS NO WAY WE CAN DO THIS. IT IS NOT EASY DOING THIS WORK WITH NOTHING BUT THE GRACE OF OTHERS TO HELP MAKE IT SO.

5-12-2017 Newshound Guru BGG Article: "Iraq offers compensation settlement and Kuwaiti debt against investment" Quote: "...the meeting also discussed the file of compensation with the State of Kuwait and ways to settle through the window of investment inside Iraq.". two separate items talked about - how to pay back Kuwait (not to be confused with) - their eagerness to settle investments inside Iraq? One of the big problems needing dealt with - is they have few mechanisms in place to safe guard investors. Why would the IMF care about Iraqi investors. They don't - this is referring to OUTSIDE investors. Period. Really good news - entering final talks - it appears.
5-11-2017 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Article: "ATMs for MasterCard card users" ...it is fun to watch all the pieces be put in place for the economy to take off. Iraq is literally going from the stone age to the 21st century with technology in a few years.
5-11-2017 Newshound Guru Adam Montana [What will happen to the other major currencies when the CBI RV’s the IQD/USD exchange rate? The countries using the EUR, the GBP, the CHF, the JPY, and the CNY all have international corporations invested in Iraqi oil with contracts based on today’s exchange rates. How will a radical upward IQD/USD RV (which effectively decreases the value of the USD against the IQD) affect the EUR/USD and the GBP/USD and the CHF/USD and the JPY/USD and the CNY/USD exchange rates? Will these other major global currencies also be devalued and what in your opinion will that do to an already stressed global economy?] This is a great question, because it opens up the floor to discuss how an RV is really a zero-sum game, mostly because we are talking about a fiat currency. When the FED prints more USD, we don't actually gain that money. It just dilutes the dollar a little bit more. IQD, and an RV of the currency, works the same way, just on a global scale. My opinion is that almost every other currency will take a slight hit, and then rebound once the IQD rate stabilizes, and within about a month all currencies will be back to normal... except the IQD will be dramatically different than it was a month prior.
5-11-2017 Newshound Guru Kaperoni ...Iraq is doing what is asked of them by the IMF and WB (though 3-6 months late) to prepare the banking system for international integration with the financial system. Iraq needed to make these changes, along with several others (including reducing the spread) to set the stage for acceptance into IMF Article VIII. Remember the goal here as stated in the SBA is to accept Article VIII to "create a favorable business climate" for investment. Accepting Article VIII will give freedom of movement of capital in and out of Iraq (so investors can get profits out), make the dinar convertible worldwide through the banking system, and most importantly allow the CBI to stop the daily auctions and let the market and world set the value for the dinar (they will stop the peg). This is all about creating the conditions for a market economy.

Condoleezza Rice: Our invasion of Iraq is not to bring democracy to him

Condoleezza Rice, US national security adviser under President George W. Bush, acknowledged Thursday night the real reason for the US decision to invade Iraq in 2003.
Condoleezza Rice, US national security adviser under President George W. Bush, acknowledged Thursday night the real reason for the US decision to invade Iraq in 2003.
Rice said in an interview at the Brookings Institution that America invaded Iraq in 2003 to topple Saddam Hussein, "not to bring democracy to the central Middle East."
In her remarks, Rice said the United States had taken the decision to invade Iraq with its allies in 2003, knowing that it would not bring democracy to that country, but in fact sought to overthrow Saddam.
The former US Secretary of State: "We went to Iraq because of a purely security problem, related to the existence of Saddam in power, but we did not go to bring democracy."
"It was never in President Bush's plans to use military force to bring democracy, not in Iraq in 2003, nor in Afghanistan in 2001," she said.

US intelligence chief says he is losing more land in Iraq and Syria
WASHINGTON, May 12 (UPI) - The director of the US National Intelligence Agency, Daniel Coates, said that the terrorist organization "Da'ash" is losing more territory and territories in Iraq and Syria as anti-terrorism operations continue to weaken it. But Cotes said in testimony before the US Congressional Intelligence Committee that the organization would continue to pose a terrorist threat to the United States, "demonstrating its ability to manage and encourage attacks against various targets around the world." On Afghanistan, Coates predicted that the political and security situation in Afghanistan "will deteriorate in 2018 despite the increase in military assistance provided by the United States and its partners to Afghanistan." "This deterioration will have a negative effect on the economic situation, which is already very bad," he said."The Taliban will gain control of more land, especially in rural areas, at a time when the performance of Afghan security forces will deteriorate due to repeated Taliban operations, increased human casualties, poor logistical support, poor leadership and escape from service," he said. In the Syrian arena, he stressed that the regime of President Bashar al-Assad will "prevail and momentum in the battlefields if the Russian-Iranian support continues to him." Finished

Expect to restore the Mosul completely from the grip of a preacher before the month of Ramadan
BAGHDAD - Iraq's chief of staff, Othman al-Ghanmi, has expressed his hope that the city of Mosul will be fully restored from the grip of the Da'ash organization, ahead of the start of Ramadan, which is expected to be approved by May 26.
"The gains made by the Iraqi army in the north of the country confirm the siege of the organization's militants in a very small area," al-Ghanmi said during his inspection of the operations of Ninewa's Ninewa.
"The security forces are exerting a great and effective effort against Daqash and will end within a few days," he said. "I will say that the rest of Mosul will be liberated before the start of Ramadan."
