Word on the Street Thursday 5/18/17:

TNT CONFERENCE CALL WEDNESDAY 5/17/17 DC NY CALL RECAP:
Good afternoon TNT Superfantastic Family. Today is Wednesday Hump Day. As the text went out and informed there is no new intel. This will be a very short session information wise. Other than a review and what we shared on Tuesday as far as updates Najar district being stormed and the map is almost all green showing all the areas accept Old Mosul, The city district the Mosque is where they will plant the flag.Yesterday's reporting there was only 4.6 miles of area to take control over, and then everyting would be done. Now as of today what other info are we getting. Abadi is saying a major celebration is coming after Mosul details to be released. Once they get the full anouncement liberation, then there should be some major celebration taking place and wonder what that could be? That is Iraq information. Now as far as our whole RV GCR, we are learning of some banks changing their policies regarding the VND. Rather than paying for it when you order it, now you will pay for it when it comes in, since the rate might change. That is what folks are being told. Interesting and we will see what happens with that. Let see what questions are hear to address. Q: How soon after the announcement has been made of the liberation of Mosul will we sell the full public release of the RV? Ray: My best guess assuming would be immediate and haven't heard of any delay activity. Q:: Art: Have you been contacted about releasing 800 numbers? Ray: No. Q: Do you expect or heard if President Trump will be in Iraq on his visit to the Middle East? Ray: I have not heard anything official about his whereabouts. Q:: Do you think we will have to go to an appointment to get the contract rate or go to our bank that exchanges currency? Ray: Probably both. Q; Any news out of the Mosque? Ray: No. Lets talker live to some callers. Caller: 470: I appreciate that you have shared that PM Abadi stated hat there will be celebrations once Mosul has been liberated. The NDA for those who want to go after the contract rate, what is the latest on that? Is there a standard for that the treasury will issues or are the banks going to have kind of a variation of that NDA? Ray: UI have no idea since I havent received any intelligent info on that. We have learned some banks may have some NDA. There is no intelligent info coming out meaning solid you can count on. Catnip: It appears we are in the lull before the storm and indications we are getting into the station, how likely if the Mosul celebration has not occured yet, are we going to be having a call on Friday? Ray: We will have a call on Friday and have a regular call if nothing happens between now and Friday. Caller: Do you think President Trump's influence can speed this up? Ray: I don't think any President can speed things up. This is just a timing thing and the way it sounds for TNT sources everyone is saying Thursday thru Saturday. We will wait and see. Caller: I feel like we are coming down the home stretch. My question when it comes out the rates will go up in 2 weeks and go back down. Is that going to happy when the internet groups exchanges or when all exchange. When will the rates go up? Ray: When it gets on the market and moves with the market. The market will drive it up. Caller: Virgin Islands: I have a lot of Zim, over a 100 quads. If it comes out at 2-3 cents Thats 2-3 million dollar per 100 trillion. My friend has a pallet of Zim. Where will the mondy come from to pay for that. Ray: You will have to wait it out and see what happens. Ray's Closing Statement: Well folks we are looking good. I think and everyone else thinks we are looking good. Of course we had some bank people that were really thinking that we would be doing something Monday or Tuesday which did not happen. Now the majority of the folks are things Thursday through Saturday something could possibly happen. We were expecting the announcement of full liberation between the 15 th and the19th. It looks like that is going to happen before the 19th , so that appears to be on target and on schedule. Abadi has already announced a major celebration afterwards. Well you have the G7 starting this weekend. A lot of folks in that neck of the woods and territory part of the country. You can seeing putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5. Everything logisticly appears to be lining up, so we patiently wait the next few days to see if it is this week. Will it spill over into next week? Right now the info still looks good and sounds good for anytime from now thru Saturday. I am Ok with anyone of those days. I prefer today, so I can spend my Birthday on Friday in Jamaica, but that remains to be seen. Right now everyone has been focusing on this week and turned to this week. All the people I have talked to and members who have people that they talked to saying Thursday seems to be the hot day for something to develop on into Friday and Saturday. That remains to be seen. It is Hump day and we are halfway there. Hang on and hold out! This ride should be coming to a complete stop. Ride it out to the end. Let it come to a complete stop and then we could step off and step on to the next one to enjoy our new future together. It anything pops, I will be the first to text you. I will post it in the forum and go into chat. We will keep you updated on what is happening. If they give it to us play by play then I will give it to you play by play until we reach the final end of this journey, so we can start the new one. Enjoy your Wednesday Hump Day! We will be back in touch soon as we possibly can. Keep Believing! I do! How about you? It is already done! Rayren98

Zaidi said in a press statement that the National Alliance and the rest of the political blocs differed between them on views on amending the law amnesty sent by the government to the House of Representatives as the government has the conviction that it is not in the interest of the general security situation to release those accused of kidnapping and return to practice their daily lives, After the arrest of some of them again and they are caught with the same offense, the former, noting that the National Alliance calls for tightening the screws and tightening the owners of these charges.

"We are a number of contractors from the province of Maysan, we have large amounts of the Iraqi government has not handed over to us as a result of the economic situation experienced by the state," said Abdul-Amir Nima Hassan. "We were surprised before the time that the Agricultural Bank / Maysan Branch has done more than 100 bills Falsified the names of contractors in cooperation with banking offices in the province, on the pretext that these contractors are required money, and thus withdraw money from these bills of exchange from the headquarters.

Hassan added that the value of the stolen money amounted to 211 billion and 637 million and 649 thousand and 265 dinars from the Agricultural Bank of Iraq, and therefore when the government's disposal of our money, we can not receive after this fraud, because the bank owes us money according to these counterfeit bills, The operation was carried out in cooperation with the Southern District Control Officer, the largest money-theft operation in Iraq's history.

5-18-2017   Intel Guru RayRen98   As far as the RV/GCR is concerned, some banks are changing policies with respect to dong...before you paid before ordering then picked it up, now you pay when you pick it up because the rates may have changed.  I think we’re looking good. We had some bank people really thinking we would do something Monday/Tuesday, but the majority are now thinking Thursday to Saturday...Thursday seems to be the hot day.  It looks like full Liberation of Mosul will be announced by the 19th, with celebrations being planned. The G7 meeting is in the next few days, and everything appears to be lining up. We’ll see in the next few days if it is this week or spilling into next week.  [post 2 of 2]
5-17-2017  Intel Guru RayRen98   The Map of Mosul is showing all green apart from the very core of the old city, and the mosque where they plan to plant the flag. There’s only 4.6 square miles to liberate.  Abadi says a major celebration is coming after they release the details of the liberation of Mosul.  [ we are all waiting with baited breath for the “official” announcement that Mosul has been fully liberated...how soon after the announcement has been made do you “believe” or in your best guess (based on what your sources have told you) that we will see the full public release of the RV?]  My best guess is ‘immediately...I haven’t heard of any delays after the announcement is made.   [post 1 of 2....stay tuned]

5-17-2017   Intel Guru Bruce
There was an announcement Sunday morning... Prime Minister Abadi made an announcement welcoming countries around the world to come to Iraq to begin to do business. Iraq is open for business.  A simple announcement, but one that carries weight because he couldn’t make that announcement if they were not ready to do business with a rate, with a new currency in the sense of the lower denominations of the dinar, and with a full engaged banking system, financial system that works all over the country even in Mosul.   They are ready for business, ready to begin to being international again.  We are going to be very pleased even what we will see on the screens of the so called bank rates or screen rates. The timing is everything that is what we are waiting for, the actual release timing

5-17-2017   Newshound Guru Adam Montana   Examples:   Major news announcements: "FROM IRAQI TV:  PM ABADI:  INVESTMENT DOORS OPEN TO INTERNATIONAL COMPANIES"   "Abadi: Investment doors open to international companies"  "Four new camps in Mosul to accommodate the newly displaced"  "The Minister of Displacement and Migration Jasim Mohammed Al-Jaf announced on Sunday the return of 122,137 internally..."  ...the evolution of tone and events is very encouraging!   "Abadi chairs a meeting of the Ministerial Committee on Energy and take a range of measures"  Oil and Energy continue to make progress, FINALLY! This is the exact area where we were stagnant last year. This year is different - the consistency of these articles lately is a telling sign. "The Ministry of Commerce promises Iraqis Surprise in the month of Ramadan  May 13, 2017"  New ration cards to be issued next week. Could these be tied into the upcoming changes in the entire Iraqi banking system, which will ultimately incorporate new currency, ATMs, and a new rate? It's a possible "gateway" move. For once, I actually agree that something might get done during Ramadan. *shock* *GASP!*   [post 2 of 2]

5-17-2017   Newshound Guru Adam Montana   It should be noted, and kept in mind, that Ramadan this year starts on the evening of Friday May 26 and goes through Sunday June 25.   That's 9 days from now.  Those of you that have been traveling this road with me for years know that I have always been VERYadamant that "nothing gets done during Ramadan"... but I'm starting to lean a little to the left on that commitment. There is just TOO MUCH happening right now! There are a couple key elements to this...that will make me go "Full Buzzy" in spite of the upcoming holiday that traditionally yields 0 "real" progress for anything in Iraq For some months now, I've been very optimistic about Iraq's ISIS situation. Over the last few days, this has only increased.  [post 1 of 2....stay tuned]

Hakim: the upcoming elections articulated and will determine the future of Iraq to 12 years to come

2017/5/17 22:02

[Ayna-Baghdad]
Stressed the head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, the importance of the upcoming elections, "describing it as" the pivotal of Iraq. "
"The upcoming elections are decisive and decisive and will determine the future of Iraq for the next 12 years and need a fair electoral law for the provincial councils and the lower house of deputies," Hakim said in his speech at the National Congress of Press Freedoms held in his office in Baghdad Wednesday evening.
He added that "our war with corruption is a major battle and must be prepared for them with vigor and intensity, and without facing corruption will not move forward."
Al-Hakim pointed out that "defending the people is by educating them about their rights, not by inhibiting with a mixture of negatives that mix truth, lies, truth and falsehood."
"We believe that the media is the true reflection of society. If we find confused flags, it means that society is confused and if we find flags away from fairness, it also indicates unfair societal behavior because it accepts injustice and confusion, and so uncontrolled media is a reflection of its society."
"The defense of freedom of opinion and expression is a defense of one of the most important rules of human life. God has granted man the advantage of choice and thus make him distinguished from all other creatures and when this advantage is confiscated, humanity descends and loses man's superiority and will."

Mines are being planted near doorways in Mosul to prevent civilians from escaping

NINEWA, Iraq, May 17 (UPI) - Iraqi police and eyewitnesses said on Wednesday that fighters of an armed group were planting mines near the doors of houses in Mosul to prevent civilians from leaving, while Iraqi forces were cracking down on militants in the final stage seven months after the fighting began. .
Troops have surrounded the militants in a city area that is fading. Militants increasingly use thousands of civilians who still live in the area under their control as human shields so as not to target or perhaps to tarnish what Iraqi leaders describe as impending victory.
With the support of the US-led coalition, Iraqi forces have made rapid gains since a new front was opened in northwestern Mosul this month and succeeded in getting a preacher out of the city except for about 12 square kilometers.
But the militants are still in control of the old city, where the latest clashes are expected to take place in narrow, densely populated streets where armored vehicles can not pass, forcing Iraqi troops to walk.
Military commanders said Iraqi forces were seeking to declare victory by the holy month of Ramadan, which is expected to start on May 27, most likely even if pockets of resistance remain in the Old City.
Abdul Ghani al-Asadi told state television that the anti-terrorism apparatus under his leadership is progressing continuously in the areas of Rifai and al-Najjar.
"In the coming hours, God willing, we will complete the task entrusted to them." He said militants had deployed 30 car bombs to target his forces in Mosul in the past two days.
Al-Asadi added that the Da'ash fighters in the Hayah neighborhood were holding civilians from their hands and using them as human shields to move from one place to another. "We saw them moving their weapons among civilians but we did not hit them.We saw them disappear between houses and left the civilians who fled towards our forces. "
At least hundreds of civilians were killed by US-led coalition forces and the Iraqi air force during the Mosul campaign, while those who remained were eating grass and boiled wheat with food running out.
Civilians fear the bombs will explode if they open their doors and run through the same holes made by hardline militants in the inner doors of the city without being targeted from the air.
The number of people fleeing Mosul has risen since hostilities escalated again this month. The Iraqi government said some 10,000 people had fled the city on Tuesday to join some 700,000 who had left Mosul since the campaign began in October.
Two civilians were killed when they returned to al-Islah al-Agra neighborhood, days after Iraqi forces recaptured him when a landmine planted by Ba'adash elements exploded to prevent them from leaving their home. Finished

The birth of a rare lion in Zora Park in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, May 18 (KUNA) - The Baghdad Municipality revealed to visitors to the zoo in al-Zawra Park in Baghdad the birth of a rare white lion in the world, confirming that his birth was inside the park.
"The White Lion is distinguished by its beauty because it has a hereditary, white characteristic and has normal color pigments in its eye and skin, while the lobes usually give birth (especially in white tigers), blue eyes and pink noses," the Secretariat said in a statement.
Zora has seen the birth of a white tiger last year, according to the statement. "Zawra zoo has seen a rare birth of white lions. The first such birth took place inside the reserve in 1975, and so far the number of white lions in the world is not known, according to a 2004 report. Asda.
"The white lion is one of the endangered animals, and its average age in nature is 10-14 years, while up to 20 years in protected areas," the Secretariat said.
The Municipality of Baghdad confirmed that the new baby is subject to continuous care by a specialized medical team, providing health care and specific types of food, noting that this "lion will be available to visitors to the park as soon as possible."
The presence of white lions was uncertain until the late 20th century, and it was believed that the story of its existence and all its news and information were fabricated myths in South Africa, where it was said that "the white color of the animal represents the good in all creatures." Finished
