The source said in a statement singled out by the "Journal News," that "the statements of some officials motivated by electoral objections and auctions, regarding the measures of economic reform, continue to be detrimental to the discussions with international organizations."
Representatives of the Iraqi private sector discussed with a delegation from the International Monetary Fund, the latter's approval of a loan to Iraq to pay the arrears of Iraqi contractors, processors and farmers, and ways to solve this problem, as this is important in the stability of the economy.

Government sources said that "the meetings of the Iraqi Ministry of Finance with the World Bank in Washington is a periodicity, the third since nine months."
The sources added that "Iraq has already agreed with the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank to obtain a loan amounting to $ 5 billion and 400 million dollars paid in three years."
She pointed out that "the lender required Iraq to carry out a number of reforms for the purpose of completing payment of these amounts."
The sources confirmed that "the last meeting was held three months ago in the Jordanian capital Amman and dedicated for the same purpose," indicating that "the Iraqi delegation renewed its commitment to the terms of the World Bank that it spends payments for the purposes assigned to them."
"The international body is trying to find out how much Iraq will abide by the terms of the loan before giving a new impetus," said Abdul Rahman al-Mashhadani, an economist.
"The meetings will continue with each payment of 450 million dollars until the loan is completed in full."
He added that "the main purpose of the amounts according to the World Bank is to fill the budget deficit and balance of payments in Iraq."
Mashhadani finds that "periodic meetings are a calendar, allowing Iraq to provide a paper explaining the mechanisms to deal with the economic crisis."
"Another loan secured by the World Bank is also provided by Britain, France and Canada, which reached 13 billion dollars," the economist said.
"Iraq has received from this loan - earmarked for the reconstruction of liberated areas - during the last period 980 million dollars."

TNT CONFERENCE CALL WEDNESDAY 5/3/17 DC NY CALL RECAP:
Good afternoon TNT Superfantastic Family. Today is Wednesday Hump Day. Who would have thought we would still be on this side of the public RV and pushing into the first phase of May. Some people probably thought we would still be here and some did not. Well we are here, and what are we going to do with it. Live and enjoy that is all we can do. Information wise, the lastest we have actually what we may discuss from my point of view is the update and if you went in and had a chance to read that. We were getting reports from over on the Iraq side, and we have people here watching Iraqi TV and telling us what is on their TV. We get the benefit from both worlds having reports coming to us from both sides. The news flash that was appearing at the bottom of the screen says in the coming days full liberation of Mosul will be announced. We have expected that this past weekend and great to hear it is upcoming. It is reported that there is still some fighting going on over there in Western Mosul. Some saying it is nothing and others saying it is a big deal. Time will tell. We also had another piece come in from the Iraqi TV saying that the end of Daash is in the coming hours. We have not heard anything today, so it has been mysteriously quiet as far as the happenings across the pond as well as over here. Banks storied have not changed and pretty much the same from expecting it at anytime now to we are on top of this. It is about to pop. Get ready. We have heard a combination of those things. That pretty much has not changed. As for today, I have not received any new information from the banking community as of yet. Lets go to Q and A: Q: What are the current rates you have heard lately from your sources and how excited are you? Ray: Sources are excited as for it happening by the end of this week and still at the same high levels of expectancy. It was led to believe it was popping out and right around the corner. and be here any second and still anticipating these things. Current rates are the same as we have always been talking about. I have not heard of any new rate changes. Dinar: $3.00-3.40-3.70 most consistent rates and have heard upside of $4 and $5 but not consistent. VND .40-.47 cents and my understanding something happening with that in another country. Trying to get more info on that. IDR: $1.08- 1.25 somewhere there abouts. Q: Do you know if Maliki controls the media? Ray: We do know he has ownership of some parts of the news and TV stations. Q: Do you see for any reason the RV being postponed for months or years? Ray; No, I have not heard any info on that. Q: Can you explain how this will roll out. Ray: All we can do is do hypotheticals and multiple scenarios. Q: Are the main 3 currencies in the first basket? Ray: Yes, I am under that impression. Q: What is our next opportunity for closure? Ray: Based on what Iraq is saying, I am looking for Iraq's currency to revalue. Iraq is saying when we liberate Mosul, everything else will fall out and was anticipated to be announced last weekend. Some saying it is done and some say still a few skirmishes. They are telling their people it is in the coming days and Daash is supposed to be eliminated in the coming hours. All of it ties into something, and look for it in the next few days. I am stuck on this week for the time being. Nothing is pulling me away from this week with 2 days left. Lets take some callers. Callers: Catnip:I was intrigued by this no new intel. Was it because the folks that you deal with told you there was no new intel or they told you exactly the same thing as they told you last week or there was no new intel? My curiosity got the best of me. Ray: Actually a combination. From the Iraqi TV, We have not heard anything to date, and no reports have come in from any other citizens regarding what is flashing on the TV. Not even over hear for the ones that are watching TV. They have not reported in. We don't have a report from US based Iraqis or Iraqis on what is on TV for today. Same thing applies for lower denoms and nothing is on the street yesterday. We have not heard from either side, since if it was the case, they would have reported. Banking community have not heard any report this morning and last night why it did not happen. However our other intel folks are saying it is done, and they just didn't announce it yet. WE just have to wait and see when it gets announced. Citizens on the street tell us what is happening. Caller: 707 You mentioned banks selling Iraq Dinar. Can you tell us what banks? Ray: No, Check with your banks. I don't share the names, since people would start calling all the banks. Caller: 904:Abadi was supposed to make some announcements. Did you hear any? Ray: He has not made the announcement we were looking for.Ray Wrap up: We covered the main info. We are just patiently waiting. Expectations for this week. Things coming up on the 5th. We are going to see what happens in the next day or two. Everyone in high expectation . We are going to focus on preparedness when this comes out. Have you checked with your banks? When 800 numbers come out, it may be with your bank or others. The best of us will be practicing first, second, third mouse and rest work it out . Any decisions, we will await to see info wise and if anything comes out, I will put out a text. If there is a need to reconvene, I will put info in the forum, and we will come back. I Believe!. The US Congress is expected to vote soon in support of a budget deal that preserves most Africa assistance programmes and provides nearly $1 billion to respond to current and threatened famines.  Information-wise...people in the Iraq and the US are telling us on that on Iraqi television, they are saying that (on the bottom of the screen yesterday) that the full liberation of Mosul will be announced, that it is forthcoming.  They did report there is still some fighting in western Mosul.  We also have another piece that came in, saying that this is happening in the ‘coming hours’, which is different than in the ‘coming days’.  However, we haven’t heard anything today.  [What are the current rates that you have heard lately for the dinar, dong...?   How excited are your sources for this happening by the end of this week?]
Sources are excited as they were last week;  we are still at the same high levels of expectancy – it should be here any second, and we are still anticipating.  I haven’t heard any new rate changes:  dinar = $3.40-3.70, although some banks have seen slightly higher rates, but those are the more consistent rates. The dong = 47 cents...

Regarding the dinar, no HCL right now and no bridges to a successful HCL have been burnt, so it's still a waiting game, although it's a lot more exciting to be waiting for something this life changing and this close!  It's my opinion that the HCL is finally (FINALLY) just around the corner.

What is going on in Iraq? My understanding is a number of announcements, 5 or 6, were made in the Mosques a few days ago.   We do know the banks are synchronizing the rates of the currencies in the first basket and a 2nd basket have been trading. Currencies we hold already for exchange have been trading upward. The rates have been going up. They continue to go up into an area we didn’t expect. I didn’t expect them to be this high, the range this high...   WE are looking for this to come in way of our blessing very shortly... We hope that the release takes place before...Thursday night.
5-2-2017   Intel Guru RayRen98   Iraqi TV is showing a news flash ticker at the bottom of the screen strolling on all television programs with the message: "In the coming days, full liberation of Mosul will be announced."  Fierce fighting is being reported in western Mosul.  Iraqi TV is reportedly saying the end of Daesh is in the coming "hours."  Time Will Tell All.

5-2-2017   Newshound Guru mike   Parliament is the main hold up for progress in Iraq, they control the legislature and Iran controls them. How many laws are we still waiting for?  How did ISIL get into Anbar Province and keep it for two years? I could go on but the lack of political will is the problem in Iraq and we can lay that at the folks who control most of the Iraqi politicians...Iran...   I predict that even when ISIL is removed from Iraq the same old problems that have plagued them since Saddam was removed will remain and further stymie progress. I hope I'm wrong.  Here's hoping the UN can get it done, it seems like a long shot without the legislation necessary to create the open market economy.

Hakim calls on security leaders to present plan and time to resolve the battle of terrorism

2017/5/3 18:36
[Ayna - Baghdad]
The head of the National Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, called on Wednesday for a clear and clear plan to define the time to eliminate terrorist gangs.
"Our battle with terrorism must be resolved this time and unequivocally and the security leaders must present a clear plan and in a specific time to eliminate the security abuses in the capital and some provinces," al-Hakim said in his speech during the ceremony of the three satellites of the people of the house. "We are proud of our heroes in the armed forces who proved to the world that Iraq is a fierce fighter when it has the right leadership and effective planning."
He pointed out that "we fight for the sake of peace and prosperity and to promote coexistence between citizens and the reconstruction of the nation and prosperity, and our message in this battle the message of life and hope and the bright future of the homeland and the citizen," asserting that "thefatwa of the religious authority in the holy jihad has helped transform the battle of sectarian battle as wanted Terrorists, to a national battle to eliminate sectarianism and racism and consolidate the national unity and unite the Iraqi people in this confrontation. "
He added that "the popular crowd is the legitimate son of this holy fatwa, where the epics were placed side by side with the other titles of our heroic armed forces, and thus the ordeal turned into a grant and a challenge to the opportunity. At the end of this anniversary we call on the media and researchers to document this great humanitarian dimension of the Islamic Jihad Live testimonies of IDPs and all citizens in liberated areas who have seen these tournaments and sacrifices in order to free them and those who have been provided with service and care. "
He added that "the rotation of security sites is a strategic necessity and can not protect the homeland and the citizen with the same mentalities that have been leading their positions for a long time," calling on "to review the performance and assessment of leaders and ensure their ability to meet the security challenges in the next phase, the closer we get military victory whenever we need New plans and procedures to control security within the cities and terrorism will seek to compensate for the defeat by the killing of civilians and targeting them at random. "
"Iraq is an independent and sovereign state and its foreign relations are made by a purely Iraqi decision. It does not require the guardianship of anyone. The region boils down to the internal problems of all countries and therefore we advise everyone to take care of their internal affairs instead of interfering in Iraqi affairs."
However, "young people who are fighting on the fronts, and young people who fill the halls of universities and active political youth are the great tool to build the nation and its reconstruction and prosperity and change its paths towards the better."
"Our battle with corruption is no less sacred than our fight against terrorism, but corruption is more dangerous than terrorism because it is an internal enemy, and it is a disgrace in the body of the state and the conscience of the people," he said.
"The next year in Iraq there are a lot of events and variables and we need tough decisions and bold and decisive and we have to be on the responsibility entrusted to us to lead this country to the beach of safety," he said, adding that " Axis in the region [Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt and Iraq] has become an urgent need to rearrange things and stop bleeding. 2017/5/3 13:27
[Ayna-Baghdad]
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The Central Investigation Court in Baghdad has confessed confessions to an archaeologist, asserting that in 1991 she obtained an invaluable Torah manuscript for a "furniture set".
"The accused was arrested in Baghdad this week," she said. "A store selling [anthrax] was running with my husband on Al-Saadoun Street. It bears the name [Days of Time], but we closed it. Because of the economic situation in 1994. "
She added that "two men came to the store in 1991, along with a manuscript claiming that they obtained from the province of Basra and offered to sell."
"We told the sellers that there was no money, and we offered to replace it with anything in the store," she said. "The length of the manuscript is seven meters and is divided into 13 parts."
"The sellers were selected on a silver-plated furniture set that we had offered for $ 6,000 on time but no one bought it," the defendant said.
She pointed out that "doubts over the past period that the manuscript is old, and we recently wanted to know the truth."
The defendant said that "a contact I had with a friend who asked her to show me the value of the value of the manuscript, and after the agreement with one of the residents raided by a security force and were arrested."
For its part, investigative sources said that "preliminary indications indicate that the seized manuscript held by the accused is priceless, and that it represents the Old Testament of the Bible written in Hebrew Assyrian script, and it is a collection of Jewish immigrants from Iraq in the middle of the last century."
