War: Abadi's current government still has full powers

The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Mahdi Alalak, said Tuesday that the government is working in multiple directions according to the requirements and the need of liberated provinces, stressing the need for coordination between the concerned parties to overcome the repetition of projects.

According to the survey, the reading signaled a marked monthly improvement in the health of the sector, and one that was second only to the series record seen in March 2011. Business conditions have now strengthened in each of the past 31 months while manufacturing output increased at a substantial pace as the rate of growth accelerated for the third month running. “The Vietnamese manufacturing sector appears to be motoring midway through 2018, with growth of output and new orders among the fastest seen since the survey began in 2011,” Andrew Harker, associate director at IHS Markit, which compiles the survey, said. Panelists reported that higher new orders and stronger client demand had been behind the rise in output. In line with the picture for production, the rate of growth in new orders was among the steepest seen across the survey’s history so far. New orders have risen continuously since December 2015.

A total of 38,101 deals worth more than 64.05 quadrillion rials ($1.51 trillion) were conducted in Iran's interbank market during the previous fiscal year that ended on March 20, 2018, the Central Bank of Iran's data showed.
The report published by CBI on its website said deals were conducted with interest rates ranging from 16-25% and an overall average of 18.69%.

Don't know about Iran's banking system as it seems to be going backwards at this point due to the sanctions but Iraq is making positive strides especially with the recent articles from the weekend.

Not that it really makes a direct impact on the overall investment – I’m just curious. It also looks like, to me, the political climate is getting better and better. Progress. Anyone telling you the political climate isn’t important simply isn’t paying attention. The federal government discussed on Tuesday the most important challenges facing the trade movement and private sector companies to develop appropriate solutions and provide a good working environment that elevates the work of customs to international levels.
"This came during a seminar held at the Hospitality House in Baghdad under the chairmanship of the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Mahdi Al-Alaq and the presence of the Minister of Transport and Adviser to the Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Kazim Al-Hassani and the military and civilian leaders concerned with the customs file. , And to ensure the safety of customs procedures and ensure the smooth entry of imported materials to the country.
