Iran bombs two US bases in Iraq .. And Trump: We will not retaliate militarily
Washington confirms that there were no casualties, and Abdul-Mahdi announced that he had received a warning from Tehran before the attack
Baghdad: "The Gulf", agencies
Iran bombed ballistic missiles, at dawn yesterday, Wednesday, two bases in Iraq where American soldiers are stationed, in response to the killing of the head of the "Quds Force" in the Iranian "Revolutionary Guard", General Qassem Soleimani, with a US strike in Baghdad, five days ago, while the American President, Donald Trump, the days of tolerance for Iran's actions are over, stressing at the same time that his country does not want to use military force, considering that economic sanctions are the best deterrent, before he indicates that he is ready for peace with all parties. Yesterday morning, the Iraqi Joint Operations Command said in a statement that 22 missiles had landed within half an hour on the two bases of Ain al-Assad, in western Iraq, and Erbil in the north. The two bases are based on foreign soldiers, most of them Americans. The statement, which was published about seven hours after the attack, and did not refer to Iran, indicated that the bombing was carried out at the same time that Soleimani was assassinated near Baghdad airport on Friday. "We have received an official verbal message from Iran that the Iranian response to the assassination of the martyr Qasim Soleimani has begun, or will begin shortly, and that the strike will be limited to the whereabouts of the US military in Iraq," said the spokesman for the commander-in-chief of the armed forces and Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi. He explained that the American side "contacted us at the same time, and the missiles were falling on the wing of the American forces at Ein al-Assad bases in Anbar, and silk in Erbil." However, the other two presidents, the Republic and Parliament, have expressed their condemnation of "violating Iraqi sovereignty" and turning the country into a "war zone." The strikes did not result in casualties among the Iraqi forces, and no casualties were reported among the American soldiers. Yesterday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani announced that Iran “clearly demonstrated that it will not retreat in front of America.” “If the United States commits another crime, it must know that it will deliver a more assertive response,” he said in a speech to the cabinet, “but if they are reasonable, "They will not do anything else at this stage." As for the Iranian "Revolutionary Guards" who announced the attack and called it the "Martyr Soleimani" operation, he called on Washington to withdraw its forces from the region "to prevent more losses and not to allow the threat of more American military lives." Iranian state television reported that Iranian missile strikes killed "80 Americans", quoting an "informed source" in the "Revolutionary Guard." He also threatened the "Revolutionary Guard" to hit "Israel", as Prime Minister "Israeli" Benjamin Netanyahu responded by warning that "Israel" would deliver a "thunderous blow" in the event of an attack. In Washington, President Trump said in a tweet on Twitter, hours after the attack, "Everything is fine." Missiles were fired from Iran at two military bases in Iraq. An assessment of losses and damages is underway. The "Pentagon" announced that Iran had fired "more than 12 missiles" at two military bases in Iraq that are being used by American forces, indicating that it was in the process of assessing the damage and studying the means of "retaliation." A US military official revealed, in exclusive statements to CNN, that the US military had had enough early warning of the missile attack launched by Iran on the military bases in Iraq. Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, in turn, tweeted, "We are not seeking escalation or war, but we will defend ourselves against any aggression." Qais al-Khazali, a militia leader in the "Popular Mobilization" militia, in turn, vowed to respond to the American strike. - See more at:
Iraq .. after Operation "Blue Lightning"
Thursday 09 January 2020 KSA 01:03 - GMT 22:03
The dawn of the third of January 2020 was unusual in Baghdad, and although the Iraqis have adapted to the massive explosions, since (1980-1988) where the Iraq-Iran war, and beyond, this explosion in particular occupied all the capitals of the world and not Baghdad alone, so the international and Arab media outlets From its usual program to follow up on the event, which is the killing of the Quds Force commander, Qassem Soleimani, and his advisor and deputy commander of the “Popular Mobilization” Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, and three with them, although the “Hezbollah-Iraq Brigades” militia, led by the engineer, considered itself “ Islamic Resistance », so as not to submit to the leadership of the Iraqi armed forces, willLike the Lebanese "Hezbollah", it has its independence, as it represents the Islamic resistance. However, after the American bombing of the Kataeb camp, it was presented as part of the "crowd," and its leader is known to be the deputy commander of the "crowd." Since the year (2008) the name Suleimani has appeared in the media as a frequent visitor to Iraq, with an Iraqi exile, and it was reported that he had a role in stopping the fighting between the Iraqi army and the "Mahdi Army", at that time. His name appeared and his pictures were published during the year (2011), i.e. in the Syrian crisis, and talk about his almost permanent presence in Baghdad, until Iraqi officials announced that he was appointed a war adviser to the armed forces, and his presence in Baghdad during the Iraqi crises after each election. His role was not mysterious, but it was clear to the Iraqis, so the demonstrators approached him, in the central and southern cities squares, and chanted against him by name, in return that the followers of religious parties and organizations see his natural presence within the Islamic resistance movement. Soleimani intensified his presence in Iraq during the recent demonstrations, which differed from its predecessors, as it demanded a comprehensive change in Iraqi politics, and that its elements are from the Shiite youth in particular, and this was surprising to many, and many news leaked about his role in the current Iraqi crisis, and regarding the choice of a prime minister Among the largest bloc, and what the President of the Republic Barham Salih rejected. The “Blue Lightning” operation has divided the Iraqis to reject the American transgression of Iraqi sovereignty, and that Soleimani is one of the heroes in the war against ISIS and another team, and his group of protesters, considered this process a moment of departure to a change in Iraqi policy, after removing the obstacle that prevents From the agreement or choosing an independent figure with economic and legal experience for the prime minister, it is similar to the qualifications of the head of the Sudanese interim government, Abdullah Adam Hamdouk, who was chosen after the demise of the Omar al-Bashir “Brotherhood” regime, regardless of whether it is from inside or outside, the important qualifications and patriotism. Whoever was unable to interfere with the external interference in the formation of the government, which the protesters are satisfied with in the squares of Iraqi cities, was considered after the "Blue Lightning" operation to solve the chronic problem in choosing the government since (2003), but does the American side stop interfering, so that there is no Excuse the other powers to interfere ?!We do not think so. The Americans consider themselves to be the midwife who gave birth to this system, and there is no one to compete with it for interference in its affairs, and with the conflict between the Americans and the Iranians, in more than one Arab capital, the two found the land of Iraq a field of fencing, and its spark was the bombing of the American base near Kirkuk (Ki One), by the "Hezbollah" brigades, and the American missile attack on the battalion camp, then the attack on the American embassy, and the "Blue Lightning" operation. This happened, and Iraq is still run by a caretaker government, and the necks are taken to a transitional government, the Islamic external influence is no longer strong in its formation, so who comes after Qasim Soleimani, to manage the Iraqi file, does not occupy his position so quickly, experience has accumulated him, the Islamists do not consider it interference Rather, this is what is imposed by religious belief, which transcends the boundaries of geography, while others consider it, which is the uprisings, as foreign interference! However, the problem is by estimating the nature of the intervention, there are those who considered "blue lightning" a blatant violation of Iraqi sovereignty, while others considered the presence of Qasim Soleimani throughout these years, also a violation of sovereignty, so "blue lightning" or striking the American base was a war between foreigners on Iraqi soil, so who Sovereignty is Requested ?! I say: Is Iraq written on the attraction of dualities: Umayyads and Abbasids, Seljuk and Poyehion, Qaraquyunlu and al-Qoyounlu, Ottoman and Safavid, to the last external and internal dualities, but the most dangerous of the dualities that he lives now, its weapon is not the sword and the gun!Abu Al-Sarri Maadan Al-Shammaiti (d. 160 AH), in the doctrinal binaries, says: “They left Iraq with a panacea / misled by the fraudster / a team that condemns the text inevitably / and a team that owes neglect” (Al-Jahiz, Kitab al-Haywan).So what will Iraq be after the "Blue Lightning" operation? Will it avoid the dualism that its parties stand firmly on its soil, or will it follow its fate with the outcome of the conflict ?

WASHINGTON, Jan 8, (Agencies): Iraq's outgoing prime minister said Tuesday that the United States has no alternative and must pull its troops out of the country, or else face an impending crisis. But Trump countered that it's not the right time for a pullout and that it would be the worst thing that could happen to Iraq.Trump said a US pullout would allow Iran to gain a stronger foothold in Iraq.“The people of Iraq do not want to see Iran running the country, that I can tell you,” Trump said from the White House.
Adel Abdul-Mahdi, who resigned in November amid mass anti-government protests, said Iraq wants a US troop withdrawal to avoid further escalation as tensions soar between American and Iran. His comments came just days after a US airstrike killed Iran's top general at Baghdad's international airport.
Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, senior Iraqi commander of an Iran-backed militia, was also killed in Friday's strike. His remains were brought back to Iraq from Iran to be buried in the holy southern city of Najaf.“We have no exit but this, otherwise we are speeding toward confrontation,” Abdul-Mahdi said in a prerecorded televised speech following a weekly Cabinet meeting. He said the “historic decision” was necessary, “otherwise we will not be taken seriously.”
US troops are present in Iraq based on a request by the government in 2014, when vast swathes of the country were being overrun by the Islamic State group. But now that IS has been largely defeated, Abdul-Mahdi said, the mission has devolved into a USIran proxy war.
Trump said he wants US troops out of Iraq - eventually.“At some point we want to get out, but this isn't the right point,” Trump said.Trump also reiterated that he still expects the United States to be reimbursed for some of its expenses, though he did not specify a price tag.
“We've spent a tremendous amount of money on building airports and building one of the largest embassies we have in the world. And we want to be reimbursed to the various costs that we have had.
They're very signifi-cant, ”Trump said.Iraqi President Barham Saleh called anew Wednesday for ridding the region from military confrontations and to keep the Iraqis away from any new confl icts.Saleh, in a statement, condemned the Iranian missile attack on military bases in Anbar and Irbil, and rejected the repeated violations of Iraqi sovereignty as well as transforming Iraq into a battle zone.
Iraq, he said, has announced rejection to being a launch-pad for attacks on any country or to pose a threat to its neighbors.Saleh said Iraqi security and sovereignty should be preserved in line with international and bilateral agreements.Deployment of coalition forces in Iraq is in accordance with agreements between Baghdad and countries making this coalition, he said, and their presence was an internal matter.Saleh called on all parties to exercise restraint and to work towards dialogue.

The decision to give to charity is often made hurriedly at the end of the year for business taxpayers and investors as they combine their impulse to give with a desire to generate a tax benefit. However, it's a decision that needs careful consideration.
Small-business owners, entrepreneurs and investors can make a difference and impact the world for good by donating to charity. But it's important that they check with their tax advisor before doing so in order to maximize the tax-saving potential of their donations.
Any major contribution should be cleared first with their tax advisor. The tax advisor can verify that a donation to a particular group or organization qualifies for a tax deduction. Many taxpayers understand that they can deduct donations to a nonprofit 501(c)(3), but they may not know that there are other organizations that also qualify. While not a factor in the business entity decision, there are differences between a C corporation and an S corporation in the charitable deduction realm.
While a C corporation can only deduct 10 percent of its income, an owner of an S corporation that does not take the standard deduction can deduct up to 60 percent of their adjusted gross income for cash contributions.
For non-cash donations, the deduction limit is 30 percent. And corporations on the accrual method of accounting may elect to have a charitable contribution treated as paid during the taxable year, if payment is actually made on or before the 15th day of the third month following the close of the taxable year.
Private foundations are the answer for many taxpayers, both individual and business, that want to make a contribution and get a deduction but don't yet know where to donate: They're an intermediary between the donor and the eventual donee.
A private foundation is a separately identified fund or account that is maintained and operated as a 501(c)(3) organization. The funds donated to the account are typically invested for tax-free growth, and the donor can direct the donation to any charity that qualifies under the IRS guidelines.
The reason private foundations are so effective is that the donor has control over where and when the funds are donated. They can make a contribution in one year to the private foundation and get the charitable contribution deduction, and then make the actual donation in the following year.
Private foundations can be formed with a small investment.

The West-East Ebb And Flood Of Gold For many decades there is a pattern of physical gold moving from the Western part of the world to the East and back, in sync with the price. The West-East ebb and flood pattern holds that physical gold migrates from the West to the East when the gold price declines, and from the East to the West when the price of gold rises. What causes this pattern is that gold trades more like a currency than a commodity and that in the past decades, the West has mainly set the price.

1-8-2020 Newshound/Intel Guru Francis Albert ...I know one thing for sure....The IMF and the Dollar Inc. FED etc. all Central Banks are run by the same crowd. They hang together talk and sit with one another. If these people want Iraq to go forward with monetary reform, as ALL evidence suggest. IMF can do what they want, and in the paperwork that has a check mark on "Is currency in compliance for 18 months? " They can check Yes, and who is going to say anything to argue the check mark.Remember in finance and Geo Politics...nothing...nothing is as it seems.
1-8-2020 Intel Guru Bruce [via WiserNow] ...the soft start; if you will, the RV, GCR started ...(Monday)– The President spoke with Steve Mnuchin and said let’s do this – let’s get this thing started - let’s get it going...so this thing is started and there’s no turning back– Now, we...are looking for our notifications to come out...the redemption centers...are also on alert...so, where we are – is very very close...

1-8-2020 Newshound/Intel Guru tman23 I’m more enthusiastic now then ever before, IMO Iran was an issue because the question being was...How can you back the IQD when the assets are always under the threat? Iran lost their 3 top military leaders and as I posted as told Hadr Ameri was picked up “arrested” by US military...there has been nothing in print yet to confirm but a very good source...so after last night it shows Iran is in a turmoil mess ...SIMPLY PUT, everything is far better in positioning then it was...AND I PUT ZERO STOCK IN MAINTAINING THE 2%...rules change and that one is not engraved in stone.

Sadr calls for the formation of a government within 15 days, closes all of the crowd’s headquarters, and advises the demonstrators: Stop stubbornness
1/8/2020 21:25
[Baghdad-where]
The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, called for the speedy formation of a "strong government within 15 days".
Al-Sadr said in a tweet to him on Twitter: "The two parties contacted the dismissed Prime Minister before the airstrike, so did he agree to implement it or not? God knows, but what concerns me now is:
Firstly, this severe crisis has occurred, especially after the speech of US President Donald Trump and the speech of the Islamic Republic.
Second: Accelerating the formation of a strong and strong government that restores its prestige and independence to Iraq in a period of no more than fifteen days and without political, parliamentary, sectarian, or ethnic polemics and by presenting five candidates with integrity and experience so that a final candidate is chosen to form an interim government that oversees early elections and other matters We mentioned earlier, and it was enough of recklessness from some political blocs and enough stubbornness from the demonstrators and wasting Iraq, because these violations were not repeated in the future from any of the neighboring countries or from the great evil of America.
Third: The relentless pursuit to end the presence of the occupier, restrain its control and increasing influence, and its interference in Iraqi affairs, so our patience is almost implemented for the many foreign interventions that do not take into account the interests of Iraq. "
Fourth: I call on the Iraqi factions to be patient and patient, not to start military action and to silence the voice of militancy from some of the disciplines until all political, parliamentary and international methods are exhausted.
Fifth: I recommend closing all headquarters of the PMF so that it is not a target for global arrogance, especially if our decision becomes military resistance with the occupier in the event he refuses to go out and exhaust all political methods.
