When Iraq accepts Article VIII they have held stability for 17 months when the requirement was only 90 days. They have done a really wonderful job creating a situation where they are creating a lot of confidence in their banking system for financial experts around the world as they look at should they bring money into Iraq and trust the banking system...

In a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his sincere condolences to the Turkish people on the Turkish consulate in Erbil, expressing deep sorrow and condolences to the family of the Turkish consul's assistant and victims of the criminal incident.
The Prime Minister stressed Iraq's pride in the Iraqi-Turkish relations and the keenness to protect the security of the diplomatic missions operating in Iraq and to reject any aggression against it, and that this crime can not affect the brotherly and deep relations between the two countries and the two neighboring peoples. TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran's traffic director Mohammad Reza Mehmandar on Thursday called on Iran's auto maker Saipa to warn people about the safety of cars produced by the company and not to claim they were safe.
Mehmandar said in an interview with a local television show on Thursday that the most car accidents in Tehran included "Pride" cars manufactured by Saipa, according to Fars.
"The company must honestly declare to people the low level of safety in these cars," he said."The company also produces Tiba cars, which are deployed in Iran, warning drivers to be aware," he said.
Saipa has been producing Pride cars since 1993, with permission from its parent company in South Korea, allowing the Iranian company to manufacture them.
The Pride cars are the second oldest cars in the Iranian market, after the cars, "Bikan", the oldest and best-selling cars in the Iranian market, which are still sold in the market of various types, despite the interruption of production.
Saipa's chief executive said in a statement to Tasnim that the company faces difficulties in providing parts of cars, whether from internal or external sources.
