Overall growth in the big, developed eurozone markets has been stunted at around 1% or less for much of the year, and the bloc may even fall into recession this year, but Central and Eastern Europe's economies have been growing significantly, recent research from Capital Economics shows.

7-5-2019 Intel Guru RayRen98 We did NOT receive 800 numbers nor any announcements of the RV. Some Call Centers were manned today ...just in case something "Big" happened. Reportedly, the sequestered banking staff were given the day off and told to return "first thing" in the morning [Friday]. Multiple rates are now being seen....to fit the situation...I suppose. ..."ain't gonna happen on a Friday" theory just might prove false...Time Will Tell.
7-4-2019 Intel Guru Eagleone2025 WE ARE IN A VERY GOOD POSITION I TALKED TO THREE BANKERS INCLUDING EXCHANGE BANKERS THAT HAS SAID WE ARE VERY CLOSE…BANKERS WORKING TOMORROW INTO WEEKEND ALL NEXT WEEK THEY ARE BEING TOLD TO MAN CENTERS...
7-4-2019 Intel Guru MarkZ [Are we getting 800 numbers today?] We will be watching closely today after the president speaks...hearing it could be anytime after...we will be enjoying the 4th celebrations and hope we get them today ...My contacts at Redemption centers will be working tomorrow… From Iraq- No new rates as of yet... [Rate]...for the dong I...expect between $.47 to $2 range...this is what makes sense to me.
7-4-2019 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat Article quote: "...the delegation of the Security Council, which visited Baghdad yesterday DID NOT DISCUSS THE ISSUE OF LIFTING IRAQ FROM CHAPTER VII." ...this is BIG...We just learned that Iraq is not “fully” out of Chapter VII. It is the provisions to repay Kuwait. But didn’t Kuwait accept a deal to repay with gas sent from Iraq? Isn’t Iraq even building a pipeline to do so? So we see all of this must be recognized still by the UN security council and they voted on to lift “all” of Chapter VII sanctions. So yes, this could be part of the holdup in letting the reinstatement go. But why are they bringing this up now? They are bringing this up now because the Sadr movement want to move ahead and do the reinstatement and get the CBI to complete the project to delete the zeros. Not wait any longer… But there are pieces to this that still must be clean up.

7-4-2019 Intel/Newshound sandyf The IQD is an Article 14 currency, so where does out of Article 8 come into it. Iraq needs to move to Article 8 for the IQD to gain guaranteed redemption and become internationally recognized. This move would make the currency Partially Convertible, a currency has to be heavily involved in international trade for many years to be recognized as Fully Convertible. Article 14 currencies change value all the time but they are not traded on the lower forex markets only the higher corporate levels. Companies that do handle Article 14 currencies do so at their own risk.

The defense clarifies the truth of the Basra operations commander's statement
2019/7/4 17:35
[Baghdad-where]
The Ministry of Defense confirmed Thursday that the commander of Basra operations, General Qassem Jassim Nazzal, did not intend to arrest or prevent journalists during his conversation with a media official. He was complaining about the pressures and leaking information quickly before the information was checked from its source.
The ministry's media advisor said in a statement today that "the Ministry of Defense would like to provide clarification on the statement that appeared on some media attributed to the commander of operations Basra Qassem Jassim Nazzal, which was revealed through the fragmentation of the statement that he threatens media and journalists in the unauthorized demonstrations of detention" .
"After checking the information, it was found that the commander was talking personally with one of the media and did not intend to arrest or prevent journalists, but he was complaining about the pressures and the leak of information quickly before checking the information from its source."
"Unfortunately, this statement was used in a different way, and I made a lot of mistakes and explained that the message of the media is to convey the truth."
"The Ministry of Defense is keen to cooperate and facilitate the work of all media, and we believe that the stability of security and the defeat of terrorism can only be achieved by concerted efforts and the position of the national media and their support for our brave army."
