The Office of AML / CFT has launched educational workshops aimed at spreading awareness and fighting the crime of money laundering and terrorist financing in Iraqi institutions and ministries.
A statement issued by the Office indicated that these workshops are field access targeting the staff and employees of some ministries, financial institutions, non-financial businesses and professions.
The statement pointed out that a number of workshops were held in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers / the Department of NGOs, the Ministry of Planning, the Registrar of Companies in the Ministry of Commerce, and the Association of Accountants.
In the coming days, AML / CFT is seeking to hold more educational workshops in other ministries and departments in order to reach the largest number of Iraqi state employees.

(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) Al-Rasheed Bank, Tuesday, confirmed its continuation by granting the pensioners' advances and no health to stop them.
The bank said in a statement received by Al-Furat News that it is "continuing to grant pensioners' pension, which ranges between 3 million and 8 million," adding that "the advance is granted to the original retiree and not to his successor."
The statement added that "grant the advance to holders of card {Nakheel} exclusively," calling "all those wishing to lend their branches in Baghdad and the provinces to promote their applications."
