Iraq is expected to receive thousands of Islamic State (IS) suspects from the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the near future as the militant group has been declared fully defeated in neighboring Syria.
The SDF will hand over nearly 28,000 IS suspects to Iraq while about 3,000 of them have already been found guilty of having ties with the militant group, Abbas Sarwad, a member of the committee of security and defense at the Iraqi parliament, said in a statement.
According to the Iraqi official, among the 28,000 are thousands of women and children who have made Iraq think of stricter security measures to monitor the overall process of repatriation. The US-backed Kurdish forces, after a five-year deadly war in Syria, announced the full victory over IS earlier the week.

3-27-2019   Intel Guru MarkZ   [do tellers know about the reset yet?]   Tellers are NOT going to know anything before the Public…and they are going to be P***** off when they find out…imo.  I spoke with folks who were trained to work at the exchange centers.  They were going to be allowed to exchange first but had to sign contracts  stating they would finish their jobs during the redemptions  before they are allowed to access their money.

3-26-2019   Intel Guru MarkZ   I still feel 99.9% we will not go into April...  I really really feel we are in the last days... I am 99.9%   ...My guess 800#'s Friday...  I'm feeling very positive Public should start on April 1st….from what I was told. The 29th for Reset is on the Gov't release...then down to the banks for all of us. I expect we will have solid news by Friday.  [...will we need anything special on your opinion when the time comes to go to the banks for our exchange.]   I am told we should have a valid ID...drivers lic ...also take a piece of mail with address where you live….   I have been told repeatedly...don't let your currency out of your sight...For security and your own sanity...don’t let it out of your site. Bank exchange centers should be using a del la rue machine to verify our currency is real.

3-26-2019   Newshound Guru MilitiaMan   Article:  "A group of MPs propose a 10 percent deduction of oil money and distribute it to citizens"  This is...if true...And it looks to be so...It is the biggest news we have seen in all the years I have been involved.   Distribution to the Citizens from the Oil revenues is far and beyond big, as it means to me they need to open the 2019 budget That will bring value to the citizens and to the smalls, as in an exchange rate, an international one that will be accepted globally and in all markets.  The amount of items that have fallen into place...shows us that this ride imo is just about over. Coming into the end of a quarter, one that is early in the year? Very nice, very nice timing.  Now imo, we watch oh so very close to the CBI as that imo is where we hear the Krakatoa! lol  Awesome day!!
3-26-2019  Intel/Newshound Guru sandyf   Since the 1980's the IMF has been trying to get every country in the world under Art 8, last count I think about 17 still under Art 14. The IMF are not happy with countries using Art 14 on a permanent basis. Article 14 currencies are non convertible and subject to restrictions, and making a currency "Free" of restrictions has nothing to do with changing the rate.   [post 2 of 2]

3-26-2019  Intel/Newshound Guru sandyf   ...There is no dispute that promoting other resources apart from oil will improve the GDP, and possibly put pressure on the CBI.  In 2012 the CBI came under pressure and raised the value of the dinar from 1170 to 1166.  There are around 37 countries worldwide that carry out currency "auctions", why should Iraq not be one of them?  The term is a misnomer, it is a mechanism to providing banks with foreign currency for their customers, that will never go away, possibly a change to the format.  [post 1 of 2....stay tuned]

3-26-2019   Newshound Guru Kaperoni   Article quotes:  "He noted that the problem we have diagnosed and must turn the page on this form of economies and stimulate the real sectors of the country and of industry, agriculture, transport, tourism and others.  Keywords added that the activation of the sector will contribute to the gross domestic product and raise the pressure on the central bank and limit the currency and take out the operation of human resources.";    "the change will raise the exchange rate of the Iraqi dinar against foreign currencies while maintaining the stability of inflation in the country"    ...two articles that surfaced over the last 10 days or so.  One from the CBI governor, the other from parliament...  These articles are complimentary of each other...one asks for pressure by opening the economy, the other says it will raise the value of the dinar to relieve the pressure.    ...Technically, they are describing a float of the currency.

3-26-2019   Newshound Guru MilitiaMan   Article:  "Signing a commercial memorandum of understanding with Saudi Arabia"  Kuwait has payments coming or activating on Wednesday next week. This above [article] is an other good sign for things shaping up in our favor, imo.

3-26-2019 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG Article: "CBI: Project deletion of zeros from the currency still exists" Quote: "...the project to delete the zeros was supposed to start in 2014, but security events and the control of the state regulation on five provinces led to delay, pointing out that the project is to delete three zeros from the current currency with the introduction of large currencies and currencies Metal." This was printed Jan. 20th of 2019… RECENT!!

"Intelligence": Baghdadi and his driver and personal facilities are trying to enter Iraq

اWith the fall of the last pocket of the so-called "caliphate" of "Daqash" in the Syrian town of Al-Bagouz, accusations were raised again about the fate and whereabouts of the leader of the terrorist organization Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Some say that it is dominant in the Badia, the desert region stretching from central Syria to Iraq, while others are likely to be wounded or killed during the fighting, or death of diabetes, but it was not confirmed the authenticity of any of this information.
However, the hypothesis of his presence in the desert stretching from the eastern border with Iraq to the province of Homs in central Syria, observers attribute to the fact that his son "Hudhayfah" was killed in that region, last July, a Russian raid, and even believe that he was accompanied by his father.
Al-Baghdadi, who travels between places, is not known for any way, just as he did not know a public appearance except on two occasions via voice recording, the first in July 2014, at the Nuri Mosque in Mosul, and the second in August 2018, eight months after the announcement of the defeat Organization in Iraq.
A "ghost" leads a torn wolf
Baghdadi, the 47-year-old terrorist who gives Washington $ 25 million to those who testify, is now traveling with only two men, who four years ago captured the fate of seven million people.
Wathiq al-Hashemi, head of the Iraqi Group for Strategic Studies, said that the intelligence confirms that al-Baghdadi moves with his Iraqi driver, and another person did not specify, and the three hide and move in areas of Syria.
In an interview with Al-Ain newspaper, al-Hashemi pointed out that "despite all the news about the arrest of al-Baghdadi, I think that is not true, because he could not enter Iraqi territory. He left the areas of the Baguz but did not leave Syria, Entry into Iraq ".
He added that "so he can move, it is certain that he denies, and there is an intelligence follow-up to him, and elements of the organization began to move, and our information confirms that a number of elements were able to reach Iraq."
Al-Hashemi explained that these elements "are trying to reach the areas of Nineveh plain, and the area of Wadi Houran, and is trying to move in the areas of Tuz (Khormatu) and Hawija and Diyala, in an effort to prove existence."
Tunnel can accommodate a car
While al-Hashemi considered al-Baghdadi's organization to be in a state of collapse, he cautioned that this did not mean the end of a "call," but that the latter would try to carry out suicide attacks using belts, explosive devices and others to prove to the world that it was continuing.
With the announcement of the rollback of "Daash" in Syria, the strategic expert stressed that Iraq will be more affected because of the presence of a gathering of the organization on the border between the two countries, in addition to the tunnel
"A few days ago, we managed to get pictures. Among those tunnels, there is a big tunnel where even the cars can enter and pass through," he said, meaning that the organization keeps sleeper cells, which may be larger than expected.
Has it ended?
Al-Hashemi believes that the organization is currently suffering from "dispersion, and operates according to the so-called string organization, and the latter means that it is based on interpersonal communication, so as not to be arrests, especially by the Qusd (Syrian Democratic forces), which handed over a number of Iraqi and foreign militants to Baghdad "He said.
He pointed out that in this way, the organization can deliver information to its sleeping cells.\
"Al-Hashemi stressed that" the organization lost a lot of its power but it is not over yet, even if we look at some media reports, and we saw what women say, calling to feel great danger, they say we are desperate, and we will train a new generation to implement what the Caliph asked. "
Therefore, the security expert considered that it requires international cooperation and intelligence, so that any surprises can be avoided and ensure a real end to the organization.
Washington does not know where Baghdadi is
If no one knows the place of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and his real name, Ibrahim Awad Muhammad Ibrahim Ali Muhammad al-Badri, does the United States, which leads an alliance against the terrorist organization in Iraq and Syria, have any information about it?. A question answered by the US envoy to Syria, James Jeffrey, who said two days ago that his country does not know where the leader of the organization is calling.
Jeffrey said in a statement to the State Department in Washington that the fighting is not over and US troops will remain in Syria in limited numbers.
But he considered that the loss of the Baagouz last stronghold in Syria, was "a great day."
