For his part, said Hibet Halabusi, a member of the Committee on oil and energy in parliament, that «the exclusion of Iraq from the sanctions imposed on Iran will cost large losses during the summer», indicating that «Iraq will go through a real crisis». He pointed out that «estimates indicate our dependence on the generation of 7 thousand megawatts of electricity out of a total of 15 thousand, which means that Iraq will lose half of its capacity». "Electricity stations are operating on natural gas and there is no substitute fuel or gas transmission lines from other countries or even in the country, which will lead to a complete halt during the coming summer in the absence of solutions."
In turn, the economist Abdul Rahman al-Shammari said in a statement to «Middle East» that «the circumstances of Iraq and the nature of its links with the United States at various levels of political, economic and security make it unable to resist the sanctions that will take effect on Iran after the second of next month», indicating "The relationship here is not only in terms of the trade balance, but there is a strong relationship with the United States financially and politically, as the United States is training and equipping Iraqi forces, as well as US companies buy large quantities of Iraqi oil, Iraqi airspace or even Iraqi funds abroad. Iraq to Discuss Suspension of Nineveh Provincial Council
The Iraqi Parliament is expected to bring up the suspension of the Nineveh Provincial Council (NPC) on Thursday as nearly 200 MPs have filed a petition on the issue, second Deputy Parliament Speaker Bashir Haddad said on Wednesday.
Haddad told Kurdistan 24 that the subject of the NPC suspension has been "politicized," and that, other than the Kurdish representatives at the parliament, some Shi'ite and Sunni lawmakers are also against the move.
"It is because we believe the suspension of the NPC will not serve the people of Mosul, and it is not in the interest of the province in general," he said, according to the report.
"This move has no political and legal justifications.”
The parliamentary official accused certain sides of involving the suspension matter so as to "exploit" the case and secure the position of the Nineveh governor.
Baghdad removes stalls and increases unemployment
Baghdad Ahmed al-Nuaimi
2 May 2019
For the second week, the secretariat of the Iraqi capital of Baghdad continues to demolish and raze wide the so-called "excesses" on the sidewalks and the side of the roads, in conjunction with a similar campaign to demolish the role built on state-owned land in the outskirts of Baghdad and neighborhoods north and east of the capital.
The campaign has so far resulted in the removal of dozens of stalls and stalls from the sidewalks in several areas of Baghdad, which left behind a wide debate in the Iraqi street about its legitimacy, especially as those stalls and stalls contribute to the support of entire families without work.
Kiosks and pastries sell vegetables, fruits, cigarettes, household items, toys and newspapers. Local authorities in Baghdad say they distort the landscape of the capital of Iraq , contribute to the accumulation of waste, and take over sidewalks for pedestrians, while defending owners themselves that if they find another place to work what they saw on the street. The owners complained of the lack of alternative places for them other than sidewalks and aspects of the markets, considering that the removal of their patrolling by the municipal departments without the provision of alternative places for the sale and purchase completely cut off their livelihood. They consider that the ongoing operations to remove their stalls exceeded their right to live, and that these measures are not timely, as the country is in a state of poverty and unemployment.
Engineer Salah Al-Badri, from the Municipality of Baghdad, explains that "there is a problem with the existence of these basements on the sidewalks in the markets and public streets because they cut the road to the citizens on the one hand, and distort the appearance of the streets and infringes the right of the citizen on the other." But Badri acknowledges another problem: the lack of adequate alternative places for the owners of Bastiyat: "This is what the government should take into consideration, especially since these bastions are occupied by thousands of poor families."
I graduated from university and could not get a job. I am not a member of a party and I do not have the money to pay a bribe to get a job," said Yasser Hassan, 35. "So I bought a small vehicle to sell the lulpe, A small shed in a street in Baghdad, was surprised by the demolition by the municipality. " "The problem is that they did not provide us with alternative places of livelihood, but instead of demolishing the houses, cars and sheds where thousands of poor families live. Where do we go, living in a country full of poverty and unemployment?"
Activists considered the removal of "abuses" to be a narrowing of their owners.

Kuwait to launch bridge between the longest in the world to connect the capital with the «City of Silk»
2 May 2019
KUWAIT (Reuters) - Kuwait yesterday launched a 36-kilometer-long bridge over the sea, one of the longest in the world to link the capital to its remote north. The city is planned to pump billions of dollars in hopes of reviving the historic Silk Road spirit.
Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah, the former Emir who died in January 2006, is one of the longest bridges in the world, stretching from the capital Kuwait to the Sabiya area near Iraq and Iran.
The sea bridge is supposed to reduce driving time between Kuwait City and the Sabia area from 90 minutes to less than 30 minutes.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, participated in the inauguration of the bridge with South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yun and French Senate President Gerard Larcher.
The French group Sestra designed the bridge, which was executed by the South Korean Hyundai Group in cooperation with the Kuwaiti Joint Contracting Group.
French company Sestra said in a statement that the bridge cost $ 3.6 billion and took nearly five years to complete, and that its completion was a technical challenge.
The bridge is built over more than 1,100 pillars, each of which is about three meters wide, some of which have been found at a depth of 72 meters on the seafloor, while the height of the sea is between 9 meters and 23 meters.
During the opening ceremony, Kuwait's Minister of Public Works and Housing Minister Janan Bushehri said that with the inauguration of the bridge, Kuwait will begin a new era in the construction of Kuwait 2035, the economic vision adopted by the emirate aimed at diversifying its economy. "The project is of great economic feasibility, and our partnership with South Korea reflects a remarkable development in the relations between the two countries on the economic and political level."
The Kuwaiti government expects the investment in the "Silk City" project in the boys to be about $ 100 billion.
Despite the sharp drop in oil prices in the global market and the unprecedented austerity measures adopted by the Gulf states since 2014 to offset their budget deficits, Kuwait, which accounts for 95 percent of its revenues, has vowed not to touch on major investment projects.
Kuwait has a sovereign fund outside the country with foreign exchange reserves of $ 600 billion and runs a five-year development plan worth about $ 115 billion.
Authorities say the sea bridge provides a strategic link between Kuwait and the northern region. She notes that the development plan for the boys' area includes, along with the construction of a housing sector in the "City of Silk", other economic projects including the establishment of a port on the nearby island of Boubyan, the largest Kuwaiti islands.
The bridge is a key element in the plan to establish and develop the free economic zone in northern Kuwait, which is supposed to be built on five Kuwaiti islands near the shores of Iraq and Iran.
The bridge construction project includes the main branch linking Kuwait City with Al Sabia, and another branch to the west known as Doha Link. The two bridges start from the port of Shuwaikh, the main port in the country

5-1-2019 Intel Guru Eagleone2025 [new Guru] May Day May Day today is May 1st so we are now in the second window. May 1-7... The Meeting in Washington D.C..with Trump went very well. [What was DC meeting about?] The RV.

5-1-2019 Newshound Guru Adam Montana Article: "Barzani meets with Mahdi re: HCL" Things happen slowly in Iraq. We know this. It was about 3 months ago when I posted that original link...the articles are starting to focus on the higher level agreements. This is the fine tuning, and the polishing. That's what I'm seeing happening right now... and it's all coming full circle, about 3-6 months after the last big round of "regular" news. This just happens to fall in place perfectly, if you ask me. I'm on the fence about Ramadan this year - it might not be as quiet as it has been in the past. I'm hoping to find some more clues, or get some "boots on the ground" feedback over the next couple days. [post 2 of 2]
5-1-2019 Newshound Guru Adam Montana It seems we are in an interesting situation right now. I've been watching the news shift directions slightly...not in an opposing way, just a shift. In the past, we've had some key things happen around mid-year. Major items, like Chapter 7, for example. The "shift" in the news that I'm seeing is - and I say this with a little bit of reservation, because I'm not substituting my intuition for an actual crystal ball - it is encouraging, in a way that may be signaling another big announcement in the middle of the year. I'm expecting a revaluation of the Iraqi Dinar to be preceded by a bit of silence...and we do have that right now. Don't get me wrong, we have a lot of encouraging articles to read right now, but the subtle shift in tone...It's hard to explain... [post 1 of 2....stay tuned]
5-1-2019 Intel Guru Footforward To be clear, I expect the dinar to revalue and I expect the rate to be over 3.
5-1-2019 Intel Guru Bruce I will say this, we are at the right level where we want to be, and we should have Dinar back on the screens here. It was off...Monday...but I think we are at a Go period...we are ready to kick this thing off. ...I believe we are looking in pretty good shape for tomorrow [Wednesday], and it might be late morning. I am going to suggest everybody just get excited and get ready to go. [post 2 of 2]
5-1-2019 Intel Guru Bruce [via PinkRoses] We are really in a situation where most sources have been told to shut up and literally just be quiet right now...The banks sources that we have have been asked to be very quiet...Things that were issues a few days ago, are no longer an issue, and that is the kind of news I like to hear... I have been asked...not to get specific about the rates. So, I won’t. ...You are going to find the rate of the Dong...to be very close, within 10% of the Dinar which is tremendous. Much higher than we thought it was going to be. [post 1 of 2....stay tuned]

The falcon cell is attached to the appearance of al-Baghdadi and is spared by its consequences

[Baghdad-where]
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The majority of terrorists identified by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the al-Qaeda terrorist organization Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, were killed in an air strike in Syria late last year, the intelligence hawks said on Thursday.
"Most of the names of the terrorists mentioned by al-Baghdadi in his recorded address were killed in an air strike on the Sousse area last year," the cell said in Deir al-Zour, east of Syria.
Baghdadi appeared in a videotape a few days ago sitting on the ground, talking to members of the organization, and appeared some assistants are listening to him, while the faces were covered.
The Hawks, a name for the Iraqi Interior Ministry's intelligence and counterterrorism bureau, announced in mid-December 2018 that 16 Baghdadis were killed in an Iraqi air strike on a headquarters during a meeting in the Sousse region.
The commander of the cell then said that among the dead 13 suicide bombers were preparing to carry out terrorist operations in a number of cities in Iraq, including the cities of Baghdad, Karbala, Samarra and Kirkuk.
The 13 suicide bombers planned to enter Iraq via the desert road, with the help of the commander of the desert region between Iraq and Syria, to carry out the attacks.
Among the most prominent leaders are those who were mentioned by al-Baghdadi and killed in Syria, "a war minister who urged Mushtaq stubbornness of the pyramid of Muhammadi, nicknamed Abu Omar, Baghdadi deputy Sajad Ali Hussein al-Hasnawi, nicknamed Abu Safiya Iraqi, and Abdul Hamid al-Salmani, official of the desert region."
Among those killed in the raid were the operations officer Omar Abdul Salman al-Fahdawi, the military official of the Middle Euphrates province Shaker al-Hardani, known as Shaker Rocket, the security chief of the organization Abu Saleh al-Obeidi, and Abu Hamza al-Yemen, the Amir of the so-called suicide bombers in Syria.
The appearance of Baghdadi before his first days in more than five years, as the man disappeared from view fully with the intensification of military operations against the organization in Iraq and Syria.
The last audiotape of al-Baghdadi dates back to September 2017, weeks before he lost the city of Raqqa following an attack by US-backed Syrian Democratic forces.
Earlier, an Iraqi intelligence source reported that the Iraqi Air Force had targeted a meeting of leaders of a Syrian organization in Syria, which resulted in the death of a number of them and injuring others.
The source added that "it was later found that al-Baghdadi was seriously injured by the strike, made him dead and can not perform his functions," but the organization did not comment on these re
